A/N: Hello dear readers, I have come bearing another update. Luckily, this one didn't take as long (at least in terms of writing time) although, the editing process was slightly delayed as my beta had weather issues on her end. In any regard, I hope everyone enjoys this installment. :)

Not as action-packed as the previous chapter, but instead, it focuses on bonding elements between Chrollo and Kurapika while giving some domesticity. These types of instances are seen throughout the fic but are no less critical to the story itself. But hey, after the build-up that brought our boys together, who doesn't enjoy some fluff mingled in with the action and drama? Especially during current times, no doubt.

And last but not least, a huge thank you to Sweet(s)Dreamer for being awesome to beta this fic, and for sticking with it for as long as she has.

Summary: After indulging in a heart-felt, but interesting conversation, Chrollo, and Kurapika decide to plan their next move before heading towards their next destination. It is there they find an even deeper meaning to their bond, and just how vital their journey thus far has been.

The resonance of music filled the air. A distinct collection of drum beats, guitars, and singing echoed through the city as many people piled into the streets, their joyous voices adding to the roaring gaiety.

While the crowds moved, laughter followed. Hawkers announced their wares from portable stalls. Dancers in vibrant costumes swayed to the songs. Even the citizens showed their enjoyment as they joined in with the flowing merriment. No one seemed to exhibit any care in the world; their only focus was on the festivities that were happening all around them.

It was a notable holiday for Idryia, or so Kurapika was told. Every year around the same time, people came to celebrate the Flight of the Butterflies. During the spring, when the trees bloom and after the frost from the winter melts away, an array of colorful, elegant butterflies take to the skies, their magnificent waves passing over the city in a flourish of grandeur.

All the people prepare days before the event, eagerly awaiting to witness such a sight once more. Idryia was known for its many beautiful trees, rare birds, and other animals. Then, of course, the butterflies.

Hearing about it was intriguing. Watching it happen was awe-inspiring. Usually, Kurapika didn't find himself particularly interested in special occasions such as that but seeing the citizens of Idryia move in a unified way, almost in harmony, it was virtually impossible to ignore. Just viewing the city below with its decorations and lively people made the sight even more fascinating.

Kurapika sat by the window, the afternoon sun washing over him with its warm, relaxing rays. In his hand was a dark blue mug, the aroma of coffee wafting from within. He surveyed the jubilee, eyes focused on the dancers flowing to the music, and the people who were producing it.

"Rather lively, isn't it?" Chrollo commented from behind him, and Kurapika couldn't say that he was wrong. Even the beat from the songs getting played was enough to soothe his nagging worries.

He took a sip from his mug while surveying the festival below. "Yeah, it is." Slowly, the procession moved forward as more people filed into the streets. "I have to admit that it's good to see people exhibiting such joy despite the dangers around them. It would be nice not to have a care in the world, wouldn't it?"

There was a time Kurapika remembered where he didn't. Back when life was good, and he was able to be carefree among the trees in the forest. Kurapika let out a quiet sigh before twirling the contents within his mug. Once he and Chrollo finished recollecting the eyes, maybe something like that would be possible.

He could only hope.

It was an unexpected statement, which made Chrollo hum. "Perhaps it would," he replied, though his eyes never left the book in his lap, "however, not everything in life is black and white." Which, unfortunately, was true. As ideal as it would be to live without any problems, such was implausible. Finding happiness didn't depend on the formation of a utopia, but rather the individual.

Of course, Chrollo wanted to help Kurapika reach a peaceful state, yet, his lover also needed to want the same thing. Though Chrollo had vowed to ensure that he helped guide his lover to reaching that point. If he could make things better for Kurapika in any way possible, then he would do it.

To see Kurapika expressing some optimism was exceptional. So long as his lover realized that he had to accept the good with the bad and make the best of it, then he would truly understand.

At least, Kurapika seemed happier when they were together.

"Because he loves you." A voice whispered to him, and it made Chrollo elated.

"Oh, I know it isn't," Kurapika commented offhandedly, his fingers idly tapping against the mug, "but it's nice to just dream about it at times." He knew Chrollo was right, and that not everything in life was cut and dried. Still, it would be nice for a change not to have so much worry and stress.

God knows, he had enough of it to last him an entire lifetime.

Dreams. Chrollo had his own as well. Desires and aspersions to achieve, but he tended to keep them realistic. Since he's been with Kurapika, even that appeared to change. The idea of what could be and what the future held was enough to make him long to see the end of their mission. Only then could his actual journey with Kurapika begin.

A smile inched its way over Chrollo's face, and he set the book aside after closing it. He then slowly made his way over to where the younger man sat by the window and gently placed his fingers beneath Kurapika's chin before lifting his head. Instantly their eyes met. "While the world may be rough, my angel, I'll always be here to help make it easier for you. Never forget where you truly belong." And without waiting for his lover to react, Chrollo captured Kurapika's plush lips with his own.

Surprise laced Kurapika's features, but it then bled away, and he wasted no time closing his eyes while accepting the kiss. Gently, he let his lips work against those supple mounds as Chrollo's scent permeated his mind. He was able to taste the subtle hint of coffee when he felt his lover's tongue slip into his mouth, the flavor of nutmeg and french vanilla filling his senses. Such a combination was delectable, and Kurapika let himself merge even more into it, which prompted Chrollo to deepen the kiss.

Before he was able to lose hold of his mug, Kurapika set it on the coffee table, and let his arms slip around Chrollo's shoulders. Thin fingers eventually found purchase within soft, raven locks, and Kurapika instinctively pulled the older man down beside him.

Chrollo willingly let it happen. In turn, the act made him draw closer to Kurapika as he guided his lover to lay back against the couch, though he was able to feel his lover pulling him in the process. It was unbelievable how unequivocal Kurapika was - which never ceased to amaze him - and each time it happened, he realized just how close they were becoming. Kurapika was gradually letting go.

The once shy and reserved Kurta was growing more bold, wild, and assertive. Chrollo rather liked this side of Kurapika, which made him hope that it would only continue to be a prominent aspect of their relationship.

He pressed a little more firmly against his lover's lithe body, which made Kurapika tremble in response. Instantly, those hands tightened in his crop, and Chrollo broke the kiss to let his mouth trail over the younger man's jaw. Kurapika breathed out, the sound almost like a drawn-out sigh, and Chrollo found himself getting pulled further into the moment.

It was like the world never existed as it was just him and Kurapika. Even the sounds from the festival outside seemed to dim and fade into the background, the only things heard was the rhythm of their beating hearts.

Even Kurapika felt caught up in the moment. Nothing else mattered; his mind only focused on the here and now, and the sturdy man who laid practically flush against him. Kurapika didn't even hesitate in tilting his head when Chrollo's lips broke from his own to move along the skin of his jaw, or when his lover decided to give attention to his delicate neck. All he could do was relish in the blissful sensation it produced, and the pleasurable way his body reacted to Chrollo's touches.

There was no reason to stop, not that he wanted to. Kurapika knew he enjoyed times like this, where Chrollo made him briefly forget all else, and the only thing he felt was pure ecstasy. It was a sensation that he couldn't seem to get enough of, the craving to experience it always in the back of his mind. Chrollo had a powerful hold on him, and Kurapika had no intention of ever letting it go.

His breathing quickened when he felt his lover's tongue abruptly swipe over his steadily racing pulse before moving down towards his collarbone. Kurapika gasped and let his hands detach from Chrollo's hair so they could latch onto the older man's shoulders instead. It was then he felt Chrollo bite down.

The act made Kurapika immediately tighten his grip as another gasp - but this time more throaty than the last - escaped his lips. Containing himself was hard, even while Chrollo suckled hard on his tender, sensitive flesh. There was no denying it; he still loved it when Chrollo marked him like this.

Although Kurapika had to admit that he also enjoyed doing the same to Chrollo as well.

Hearing his lover's vocal sounds nearly enticed him into continuing, but Chrollo knew that he needed to keep a grip on himself. So, he reluctantly suppressed his growing urges, and once he was satisfied with his handiwork, Chrollo pulled away. Almost instantly, Kurapika hissed in protest, those blue eyes which had begun to bleed into that alluring scarlet he adored so much, bored intently, but pleadingly into his own. Even then, it was hard to resist.

After that, Chrollo remembered something. If what Kurapika's friends had told him was accurate, and he was correct about the current date, there would be reason later for them to spend time just relaxing. And alone. Truthfully, he had nearly forgotten, and seeing Kurapika look so crestfallen had oddly enough, jogged his memory.

Well, at the very least, he got to leave a pretty little purplish spot on his lover's otherwise perfect skin. It made Kurapika appear even more beautiful than before. And was further proof the younger man really was his.

"You didn't have to stop, you know." Kurapika grumped and sat up when Chrollo moved off of him. Just when he was starting to enjoy it. Now he needed to figure out how to calm himself after all that. The notion made the frown on his visage deepen even further. "It's not as if we have anywhere to be at the moment. Why not take some time for ourselves?"

Chrollo stopped what he was doing and raised an eyebrow at Kurapika's unexpected response. He really didn't think his lover would have been so adamant. "If I have to be honest, babe, I didn't want to stop, because as you know, I've been looking forward to us spending some quality time together. However, I have already received information on where our next target is located. I figured you may want to get moving soon." With a sigh, Chrollo sat back against the couch and cursed inwardly. He could feel the slight constriction in his pants. Glancing over at Kurapika, he could tell it was practically the same for his lover.

It was just another instance where he let himself get too carried away.

Luckily, the mention of where their next target was seemed to distract Kurapika enough from what had transpired only minutes before. "Oh?" The younger man replied, and curiosity replaced the frustration that was there earlier. "You surprise me yet again, my love." Kurapika was automatically shocked by how easily he spoke the pet name following his statement, but then it made him practically grin. Perhaps it was something he didn't often use - more so rarely - yet, he did like the way it rolled off his tongue. "So, where to, then?" He questioned, genuinely interested.

As usual, Kurapika's comments were adorable, especially when the younger man tried to feign being shocked. With how much time they spent around each other, Kurapika definitely should know him by now.

The innocent act, however, was no less cute.

"You really shouldn't be surprised, angel," Chrollo replied smugly, and he leaned in close to the other man, their faces but inches apart. "I always tend to work quickly." Without warning, he dipped in closer and nipped Kurapika's ear just above his delicate earring. Chrollo then gripped the silver chain with his teeth and gave it a few tugs for emphasis before pulling away. A toothy grin spread across his face after that. "But yes. I already have all the information on where to go next and who to target. Shalnark doesn't waste any time."

Kurapika may not be privy to exactly when he managed to procure his information or the points where he made contact with Shalnark and his other spiders, but they were not slackers. Staying on top of any given situation was one of his strong suits, and his comrades acted fast. Though, it would be a fact Kurapika would someday realize. His troupe was efficient.

Perhaps even more so once his lover was fully integrated.

More and more, Chrollo awaited for the day when Kurapika would receive his tattoo. He knew the younger man did as well. And the area where Kurapika wanted to get it placed made him brim with anticipation. It was definitely something that he - no, they - looked forward to.

For now, he and Kurapika had a goal to achieve.

There was a moment of silence before Kurapika regained his senses enough to speak. Chrollo only continued to rile him up, which made him want to kick the older man's ass. He could still feel the tingling of those lips on his earlobe. "I swear if you keep doing that," Kurapika threatened, his voice laced with seduction and provocation, "then I might just disagree with leaving right away so you can fix what you started." Ceasing his speech after that, Kurapika fisted Chrollo's coat and drew his lover in close. There was a devious tug to his lips as his eyes flashed scarlet, and he abruptly latched onto the skin just above Chrollo's throat.

What he did was abrupt and without hesitation. Kurapika could sense the shock that gripped Chrollo at that very instant, but it quickly retroceded. The older man breathed in, which sounded akin to a sigh before letting it go. There was no mistake that he relaxed afterward.

He was enjoying it! Kurapika could easily tell. It prompted him to only bite down a little harder as he was determined to leave behind a mark that would be no less incriminating than the one left on himself. Chrollo was his, there was no denying it. Yet, it was also a profession of his dominative side. While he preferred to be on the receiving end when they had sex, Kurapika still made damn sure to assume control from time to time. They were both equals and didn't hold power over the other. It was how they agreed their relationship was to be.

Chrollo responded only by angling just enough to give him better access. It made Kurapika slightly more aggressive, and once he was satisfied with the slowly blooming hickey forming over Chrollo's skin, he merely attacked his lover's neck afterward. Kurapika didn't know why he was acting so feral, but it was as if something had come over him.

Even the faint growl that rumbled in the back of his throat surprised him. If left unchecked, Kurapika worried that his unbridled desire would eventually take over. Then again, such a thought left him conflicted. He wanted - no, needed - Chrollo, and in the past, there were so many times where the older man stopped before anything could happen. Since then, Kurapika had gotten his way a few times, but he wanted to be sure that his lover didn't intervene because he wasn't ready.

It was a possibility that Chrollo wasn't conscious of his craving for passion, but after his experience with the older man, Kurapika rather enjoyed the intimacy they shared. Before Chrollo, he cared little for the aspect of romance and lovemaking. Now, it felt like he was starved and pined for it. Chrollo, always teasing him, didn't help, either.

The fact his lover practically trembled in anticipation seemed to incite him more. Damn that man for instigating his hormones like this! It took all he had to prevent himself from grinding down against Chrollo's hips. Doing so would have likely turned his lover on.

Kurapika hissed and raked his teeth over the area once more before he grudgingly moved away. If he lingered any longer, Kurapika was sure that he wouldn't have been able to stop. The blood had already begun to pool low in his groin.

He cleared his throat when Chrollo raised an eyebrow at him curiously. "Yes… About that," Kurapika stammered and averted his eyes, "I was just returning the favor. Don't forget you're not the only one that likes to show who each other belongs to." Right after the words left his mouth, crimson flushed over the skin along his neck and rose upward. Kurapika wasn't entirely sure where he acquired such vulgarity, but he was different when around Chrollo.

Curse that damn arrogant bastard. But I still love him nonetheless.

Kurapika sighed.

"Oh, I am not trying to stop you, babe." Chrollo purred and reached over to cup Kurapika's chin before turning him so that they faced each again. He looked precious with his pale skin tinged with crimson. "Truthfully, I relish it when you show me how ferocious you are."

Which he said with undeniable sincerity. Chrollo didn't care how many times he needed to reiterate it; there was nothing more titillating than having a partner who was sassy but also had a dominant side.

Thinking about it made him shiver with delight.

It was hard not to appear smug when Kurapika's expression turned skeptical, but he figured that his lover had ultimately agreed. He remembered quite a few times where Kurapika became quite possessive, whether it was indirect or outright, so there was no refuting what he stated as fact. The beautiful, but steadfast Kurta has his own conquests.

And Chrollo liked that.

The flush that stained Kurapika's skin didn't fade when his eyes locked with Chrollo's, nor did his fiery temper change after the older man made his bold statement. If anything, the implication astonished him. "Is that so?" Kurapika replied, sarcasm clear in his voice. "Then, do you regret stopping yourself only a short time before? I thought you wanted to go over the information on our next target because you assumed I wanted to leave right away." It was clear there was an accusatory tone to his words, but his lover did practically contradict himself.

Not that he was complaining. Well, not entirely. Chrollo deciding to cut their fun short so they could focus on their objective isn't what bothered him, but that his lover was going to let him continue on with his eroticism instead is what did. If Chrollo was enjoying the experience, then why did he stop? The man really should prioritize.

What Kurapika said was impossible to contest. "I suppose I can't say that I don't." He confessed and leaned back casually. Chrollo could see the flashes of disappointment along with frustration in Kurapika's pretty cerulean eyes. "But you're right. Although I would rather continue on with our fun, we should focus on what's important. There will be time for us to be indulgent soon enough." He let the final words roll off his tongue suggestively, and Kurapika raised his eyebrow in suspicion at the comment.

"For once, I do not disagree with you. There will be plenty of opportunities for me to show you how persuasive I can be."

Right away, Kurapika's lips curled ever so slightly into a mischievous grin, and then he busied himself with the remainder of his coffee.

How implicating. So, Kurapika was practically stating his intentions outright. Well, he certainly wasn't holding back. Chrollo definitely was liking this new aspect of his lover. He leaned in close to Kurapika again, the younger man's breath warm against his skin. "I can hardly wait," Chrollo drawled slowly, excitement written on his face.

Again, the color on Kurapika's cheeks deepened, and he observed the older man carefully. "Be patient, darling, or I'll make you wait longer just to see you squirm." And he leaned in to nip Chrollo's lips to confirm his promise.

There was a flash of contemplation on the Ryodan leader's visage, but it disappeared instantly. "You shouldn't try to threaten me with a good time, angel," Chrollo replied teasingly. He could tell Kurapika was attempting to up the ante. It excited him even more.

But, it didn't seem to stop Kurapika. In fact, the embarrassment that Chrollo could see on his lover's visage became more apparent before his back was forcefully pushed against the couch. His lover's eyes held a devious glint to them.

"Really now?" Kurapika questioned before immediately straddling him. "I just may show you otherwise if you decide to keep pushing your luck, sweetheart." He added. The last words were so full of saccharine that it sounded dangerous.

It amused him just how much of a front Chrollo was putting up, but Kurapika enjoyed the challenge. So long as these types of acts involved no one else, he didn't have any reason to feel violated or trampled upon. They belonged to each other, and that was that.

Right after, Chrollo threw his hands up in defense, but the smug grin on his lips never ceased. Kurapika was indeed wily and would match him if they continued with their antics. Although he was having fun, reluctantly, they had an agenda to complete. There would be an opportunity to finish their little playtime later.

"Alright. You got me," Chrollo conceded. His lover was persuasive and very convincing. It made the Kurta even sexier. "We can finish this later." He winked at the younger man who was still on his lap and was instantly punched in the arm by him. Chrollo chuckled. "Shall we discuss our next destination then?"

Kurapika slackened his hold on his lover, but just barely. He stayed where he was, however. "I'm listening." The mood changed afterward, but Kurapika still carefully watched Chrollo anyway.

The older man cleared his throat - although excessively - which made Kurapika eye him critically. Delaying would only make the situation worse, he surmised. "Yes, well, I received notice earlier today that another pair of Scarlet Eyes was located in a small coastal town east of here called Old Zephyrium. The information said that a small-time artist named Caleb Esterman has a pair."

Following his statement, Chrollo proceeded to retrieve his phone to pull up the information Shalnark had sent. He quickly scrolled through it before looking at Kurapika again.

"Do we have all the documentation needed this time? I would prefer not to rush in practically blind like before." Kurapika asked sternly. Having all their eggs in one basket was crucial, especially when it came down to being prepared.

They needed to plan more thoroughly as opposed to just winging it. Strategies like that wouldn't always work and were ill-advised.

Kurapika knew his quest for the eyes was a game of chance, and wouldn't always have the best outcomes. Eliminating as much negative consequence was the best choice for reducing that possibility. His lover had pretty much insisted on such.

Chrollo hummed but nodded regardless. "Of course, love. I made sure that Shalnark got all necessary, relevant information on our target before we left Idyria. He came through within hours."

That was a plus. At least it meant there wouldn't be any delay this time.

"Great. Then we know exactly who this person is, where they live, and can plan on how to deal with them accordingly." Kurapika was ecstatic. Maybe this mission would go over a little easier than last time. It wasn't like they had the best luck thus far.

Fortunately, they had been able to come out of most situations, virtually unscathed thanks to Chrollo. That wasn't counting the incident where he got stabbed almost lethally during their excursion with the Mafia. But nonetheless, most of the damage had been minimal since.

Except for Kurapika's perilous encounter with the insane scientist. Had Chrollo not intervened, who knows what may have happened.

Gently, Chrollo put his phone aside; he had read enough of the information to have a basic idea of what to do, and then he casually let his hand come to rest amid Kurapika's perfect locks. "Of course. I made sure that it was a priority." Chrollo slowly carded through the golden strands. "We can work out the details after we arrive in Old Zephyrium." There was no mistake that his lover was enthusiastic. As he expected. Still, they had to reach the place first.

Impatience flashed in Kurapika's eyes but was gone instantly, and he merely hummed in agreement. Kurapika lingered for a while longer as Chrollo stroked his hair, then he reluctantly pulled away. In truth, he wanted to stay where he was. Chrollo's touch was soothing. But they would need to leave eventually. "We should probably get packing soon. How long will it take to reach Old Zephyrium?" Kurapika inquired.

Without stopping, Chrollo turned to look towards the clock on the far wall and noted the time before answering. "About eight hours. I figure that if we head out by early afternoon, we make it there just after nightfall."

Lovely. Another lengthy car ride. His ass was still recovering from all those days he spent sitting while they were spying on Baxel's house. Kurapika exhaled through his teeth. At times, traveling grew quite tiresome, but it wasn't anything he hadn't dealt with in the past. For many years - particularly before he became a hunter - Kurapika had spent a long time on the road, though mostly traveling on foot, where the luxuries of comfort weren't possible. It was rough, and there were plenty of nights where he ended up sleeping in the bushes or beneath the trees. While it wasn't lavish, or copacetic, he had learned to cope as to survive.

In any regard, he had to contend with it one way or the other. They still had quite a way to go with finding the remaining eyes. Complaining now certainly wouldn't do any good.

Kurapika glanced at the time. It was already late morning. So, they would need to depart in just a few hours. Which meant they had to start packing soon. But for the moment, he simply wanted to enjoy himself. Chrollo hadn't ceased fondling his hair either, and he was still relatively comfortable. They could afford a little time for themselves.

"Okay. That sounds good to me, although I am not looking forward to another long trip. Not to mention, we still have to get ready. Hopefully, it shouldn't take us long." Kurapika slowly altered his position, so he came to rest at Chrollo's side and closed his eyes. He could still hear the music wafting from outside as the festival continued on. "But for now, I just want to remain here for a while."

The younger man's declaration brought an instant smirk to Chrollo's face, and he didn't bother moving when Kurapika abruptly altered his position. Instead, he shifted enough to accommodate his lover and resumed combing his fingers through those silken tresses. "Alright. We don't have to move just yet. Relax for now." He purred and held Kurapika close. Chrollo could feel the faint rhythm of his heart, the sensation almost sedating. It made him practically forget all else, even the sounds of the city seemed to drown and fade away.

Only the quiet remained as it was just them, and nothing else.

Shortly past noon, Kurapika was hovering over his suitcase. He had just managed to cram the last of his clothing into the infernal thing when he zipped it shut. Even he was astonished by how much he had. Ever since Chrollo had insisted on purchasing him a practical new wardrobe, he had even less space for storing things in his suitcase. Still, he put up with it nonetheless. With the eyes getting stored separately inside of Fun Fun cloth, he had somewhat more room to work with.

Despite that, it was nearly filled to the brim as is.

After it was secured, then latched, Kurapika did his routine sweep of the hotel room to ensure nothing was left behind and took his suitcase to the door. Chrollo was finishing up when he did.

"That should be everything." He confirmed and wiped away the thin sheen of sweat that had accumulated on his forehead. While the temperatures in Idyria had been relatively mild, it didn't help that all the exertion caused him to perspire more than usual. Not that it bothered him all that much, but he didn't want it to build up too much, then get stuck spending the entire length of the trip with any kind of odor. Kurapika thought about showering again before they left but figured there wasn't enough time and decided not to.

Though, it would be the first thing he did after they secured a place to stay once they arrived in Old Zephyrium.

Chrollo stood and took hold of his own suitcase. He gazed around the room that had been their living space for the last few days and was glad to see that everything appeared in order. Thankfully, they had finished slightly ahead of schedule. Now, there was a chance of them arriving at their destination a bit earlier than anticipated. Which turned out to be a good thing.

He turned to face Kurapika once he was in front of the door. The younger man nodded, and they both exited quietly afterward.

Getting their belongings loaded into the car took no time at all, and it wasn't long after they were pulling out of the parking lot of the hotel. Kurapika could already feel his backside molding to the seat. It wasn't a pleasant sensation, after all. He scoffed at his current predicament but then decided to distract himself by reading. Though Kurapika was surprised when Chrollo handed him the thick, leather tome in the next moment. Was the older man reading his mind?

Chrollo knew him even better than he thought.

"Figured you may want to read to pass the time," Chrollo remarked casually, his lips turning into a slight smile. "I know that you aren't particularly comfortable. It may help keep your mind off things."

His lover wasn't precisely wrong, but Kurapika sighed anyway. It must have been pretty evident if Chrollo realized that he was uncomfortable. Then again, like himself, Chrollo was quite perceptive and was keen when it came down to picking up subtle changes around him. Kurapika realized he was no different. With as much time they had spent together, it gave the older man plenty of chances to learn more about him. He shouldn't be surprised.

Kurapika took the book without question and placed it on his lap. "Thank you." Hopefully, they would reach Old Zephyrium before he knew it.

There was no limit to the enjoyment he experienced when reading the old tome. Since acquiring it, Kurapika had taken a liking to the many stories and documentaries within. Although he had managed to read all the content front to back over the last several months since receiving it, going over it again never seemed too dull or boring. He was still enthralled by its mysteries, and how its civilization was said to predate their current time. The idea of people and beasts like that having once existed was mind-boggling, but was it really any different from society and creatures that lived today?

If there were people who could use Nen, and magical beasts that freely roamed the land, then who was to say that humans who could channel magic, and wicked creatures so twisted and deadly, didn't exist at one time? Then, Kurapika remembered those objects he encountered while at Consta's ball and during his mission at the museum in Mirie. It was far too coincidental with how much they represented items that he read about in the old tome. So, there were even those factors to consider. It made the evidence harder to dispute.

At some point, when he and Chrollo completed their mission and retrieved all the Scarlet Eyes, Kurapika wanted to explore more of the ancient society he read so much about. If people like that did actually exist, then there should be more records documenting them. It was one thing that was often well cataloged, so almost any library worth their salt had a section dedicated to preserving history. Kurapika wanted to learn more as the past - aside from his own - was no less than intriguing.

He wasn't sure how much time had passed from when he flipped open the cover, to when he finally tired out, but after stifling a yawn for the third time, Kurapika closed it reluctantly.

From the corner of his eye, he was able to make out the quick glances Chrollo gave him before feeling the light touch of a hand on his shoulder. Kurapika's attention was drawn again to his lover, and he could see the slight frown etched on the older man's visage.

"You should probably get some rest. I'll wake you once we reach Old Zephyrium."

"Alright," Kurapika responded and laid his head back against the top of the seat. While he was still not adjusted to sitting for so long, his mind was no longer able to focus entirely on it. He closed his eyes and let himself begin to doze, but before doing so, he briefly remembered the sensation of weight upon his thigh. More than likely, Chrollo had rested his unoccupied hand there. The aspect of it was soothing, which helped him drift off faster.

At least he didn't have to focus on how numb his ass had gotten since getting in the car.

Several hours had passed by the time they crossed the border into Old Zephyrium. There was a faint scent of salt in the air as the ocean was just visible on the horizon, and the last rays of daylight faded behind it. Kurapika was still sound asleep beside him, which brought another satisfied smile to Chrollo's lips.

Kurapika still looked precious when he slumbered. Even when the glow of the moon played over his features. He gave the younger man a bit longer to rest as he searched for accommodations they could use for the next day or two, and once he located a decent hotel, Chrollo pulled into the parking lot, then decided to wake his lover up.

It took several tries before he was able to rouse Kurapika, but his pretty Kurta finally stirred after grumping about how stiff he was from sleeping in such an awkward position. Those tantalizing blue eyes then locked with his own. "I assume already you found a place for us to stay at?" Kurapika inquired before turning to look over his shoulder and realized they were parked once his mind caught up to his surroundings. Right away, he noticed the large hotel just a short walk away. Kurapika was just grateful that he could at least get out of the car.

"Of course babe," Chrollo answered, then proceeded to slide out of his seat. He watched as Kurapika did the same while taking a minute to gaze around, then he turned to go retrieve their belongings from within the trunk. "I wanted to find a place so you wouldn't have to wait after waking up. I could tell you were tired of getting confined for so long."

He recalled how Kurapika fidgeted after spending more than a day in the car during their observation of Baxel. It was evident that his lover didn't take well to spending so much time while stuck in one spot, so Chrollo wanted to make it easier on him. Perhaps it was something that Kurapika wasn't used to. Not everyone was that adaptable.

Either way, he didn't mind accommodating his lover. Making Kurapika comfortable was important.

"That was considerate of you," Kurapika uttered as he stretched. The amount of stiffness in his body was ridiculous. "I'm just glad to be out of the car. Getting cramped like that was beginning to give me a headache." He then came up beside Chrollo just as his lover unloaded the last suitcase. "It's pretty quiet, though. Nothing like how it was in Idyria when we left," Kurapika added, the peaceful sounds of the night creating a tranquil atmosphere. It wasn't often they went to a city or town - even the occasional village - where it was equable.

The change was nice.

Chrollo drew the lid of the trunk down before clicking it shut, then took hold of his suitcase. The stars had begun dotting the sky, their twinkling lights glowing brightly amid the expanse of deep blue. "Yes, it is." He said, then faced the direction of the hotel. "And much more peaceful. Not that I don't find festivals interesting." Chrollo paused, his gaze landing on Kurapika, who was standing next to him. "In any regard, we should probably get inside and check-in. We both need a good shower and some dinner."

Now that was a point Kurapika couldn't argue. He had spent the better part of the day stuck to a car seat, which made him almost forget that he hadn't eaten. He liked the idea of sitting down to a good meal. Even taking a shower piqued his attention. Since they left Idyria, he had been champing at the bit for one.

Kurapika quickly agreed. "I couldn't have said it better myself." He spoke enthusiastically, and Chrollo laughed. Sometimes, it took very little to appease him. Sometimes.

"As eager as ever," Chrollo noted, an impish tone to his words. Without hesitation, he reached over and snaked his arm around Kurapika's waist. The younger man felt warm against his exposed skin.

The immediate contact made Kurapika tremble but then relax. Chrollo's embrace always seemed to pacify him. "Maybe I am." He replied and leaned a little against his lover. "Traveling can be exhausting." Not to mention, he wanted a soft bed to sleep in. So Chrollo could keep him warm also. Kurapika flushed at the thought.

A sly grin made its way over Chrollo's visage when he noticed the rosy color flood his lover's cheeks, but he remained silent while contemplating over what made Kurapika react that way. He then began making his way towards the front of the hotel as his lover strode beside him.

Though, as he neared, the sensation of something out of place caught his attention, like there was a thread of boundless energy in the air, and Chrollo felt the fleeting presence of an unknown presence nearby. It gave him pause, but for only a fraction of a second, though it was not enough to be noticeable, even by Kurapika. He remained cautious, nonetheless.

Since Chrollo didn't want to give off an impression of being suspicious - or alert Kurapika as the other man didn't seem to have noticed - he temporarily disregarded the prospect that someone may be following them and continued heading for the hotel. It wasn't the only instance where he had felt strange energies to that effect. The first time it happened was after they left Odaria. Chrollo remembered it all too well. While he decided not to react, the fact he sensed it again put him on guard.

If someone was tailing them, he would find out.

Both of them entered the lobby, which was standard for most hotels, and Chrollo approached the reception counter. Thankfully, the only employees on duty were men. Despite the fact he was in a gay relationship, it never seemed to stop him from flirting with women if he encountered them. While Kurapika trusted his lover to never cheat on him, it was still infuriating when Chrollo got too friendly with anyone.

Though recently, he had been mindful of the boundaries set. Otherwise, Kurapika would feel the need to plant his foot right up Chrollo's ass. He loved the Ryodan leader, but even he had his limits.

Kurapika didn't even realize that he had sighed audibly until his lover had returned swiftly with their room keys. It was a good thing Chrollo didn't bother lingering to chat.

The room that was given to them was modest but had more amenities than most places they had stayed at recently. Most of the hotels Chrollo had picked naturally had kitchenettes, which houses the basics, but this one actually had a fully functioning refrigerator. There was also a much more elaborate coffee maker, along with extra supplies for cooking. Even the bed Kurapika realized was king-sized. It didn't have any exquisite furniture, but aside from what he saw, there was a living area with a couch, two chairs, a table, and a writing desk. He assumed that Chrollo ended up splurging a bit more than usual.

At any other time, it would have been seen as done in excess, but Kurapika relented. They had been through so much as is, so it was a break they deserved.

Once he had gotten an eyeful of his surroundings, Kurapika deposited his suitcase off in a corner by one of the chairs, then went to sit on the side of the bed. He removed his shoes, and groaned from the tension he felt, though it wasn't his feet that were sore. Instead, it was his back and rear. It had taken a bit for him to become aware of just how much he ached and where. Kurapika sighed again.

"Are you alright, love?" Kurapika looked up from staring at the floor to see Chrollo standing across from him. There was a flash of concern in those grey eyes.

He hated making his lover worry. "Yeah, I'm fine. Just a bit tired and sore from the trip." Kurapika rose from the bed and proceeded to move his shoes to the side, so neither of them tripped over them. He could feel the weight of Chrollo's stare on his back.

"Kura," Chrollo began while leaning against the wall beside him, "you're still a terrible liar as always. I know you better than that, babe." Before the younger man could say anything, he closed the gap between them and placed his hand on Kurapika's shoulder. He then spun his lover around. "Go shower first. I'll go find us something to eat, then you should get some rest." Chrollo reached over to gently trace the slightly dark circles beneath those blue eyes. If he had to pamper Kurapika, then so be it. Someone needed to ensure that his health was maintained.

Even if that meant he had to do it.

The blunt profession brought an instant flush to Kurapika's cheeks, and he grumbled beneath his breath. "Nothing gets past you." He stated, but softly. Chrollo genuinely cared for him. "But I won't argue, love. I think I am just overly tired. All of the traveling we've done for the past month is starting to catch up."

Not that it wasn't already a problem before they got back to Yorknew. From the day he left to find Chrollo, to the beginning of their journey and relationship, Kurapika had continuously battled with getting proper rest while keeping up with his health. It was an aspect that he never really took into careful consideration, even after making his decision to be with his former enemy.

And there were countless instances where his lover had chided him for it. Even to the point of practically feeding him to ensure that he ate properly. Kurapika remembered the moments clearly, but then again, it was done for his own sake.

Chrollo wasn't ever intent on treating him like a child, but ensuring that he remained healthy and safe.

"It's also because he doesn't want to lose you." One of the many voices rang out, and Kurapika smiled at the revelation.

No one else aside from my friends has shown so much love and compassion like Chrollo.

It was a truth that Kurapika could no longer spurn.

"That is more than likely the case," Chrollo added as he observed Kurapika while the younger man went to gather his bathing supplies and a clean change of clothes. "Specifically, when it comes down to you taking proper care of yourself. I've noticed you tend to become negligent in that area."

He noticed Kurapika immediately stiffen, and the younger man turned to face him. Blue eyes met his own, and Chrollo was able to see the revelation within their alluring depths. It was nothing but the truth.

Unless he forced Kurapika, his lover tended to let himself go.

The reality of it made Kurapika unable to keep facing the man before him. "Yes, I am aware." He admitted, though his voice was soft, meek. "Before we became a couple, my life wasn't important to me. It's just a habit that I haven't managed to break." He furthered, though his gaze was cast towards the floor once again.

Learning to adapt had been hard, and abolishing old habits was a challenge. For many years Kurapika had spent doing anything he could to achieve his goals, even at the expense of his own safety and well-being. Since being with Chrollo, that tide had shifted, but falling readily into it was taking more time. There were still aspects of himself that needed changing, including his views. Because of that, he required Chrollo's help.

Even if Kurapika didn't outright say it. His lover seemed to know as is. Clearly, the older man was able to read him regardless if he attempted to conceal it.

He should have known better anyway.

Kurapika stood up decisively, preparing to head into the bathroom when two firm hands stopped him. "Kurapika," Chrollo spoke, but this time his expression was severe, "you need to quit thinking like that. While I understand that you're still trying to adjust to all the changes happening around you, I cannot sit back and ignore the lapses in your health." Silence instantly descended between them, and Chrollo was able to see the remorse in Kurapika's eyes. The look was painful, but he didn't waver.

Making him understand that was crucial, especially if Kurapika was going to remain strong and survive. But the thought of losing Kurapika - particularly for something like this - always crossed his mind. And by no means possible was he going to let that happen.

No one understood him the same way Kurapika did.

And no other person loves you the same.

Guilt worked its way over Kurapika's visage, and he turned away. There was disappointment in Chrollo's fathomless greys. "I know." He repeated, shame boiling low in his gut. "And I realize that now. Forgive me. It's just been a struggle getting past it, but I promise that I'll do better."

Like the changes he was making while gradually integrating into the Genei Ryodan, it was the same for his relationship with Chrollo. Maybe the man had committed terrible crimes in the past, but no other made him feel more elated, or alive like Chrollo.

The way his heartbeat, and how it flowed to the same rhythm as Chrollo's only professed it that much more.

Such happened when his head got turned to face the older man a second time. Kurapika felt that flutter in his chest, and it was like he had fallen in love all over again. No longer was there anger or displeasure in Chrollo's expression. Only compassion. "There is no need to apologize, love." He responded and peered down into Kurapika's blue pools. "I realize that it's been hard on you since the beginning, but please know that I simply want to protect you. Not a day goes by that I worry about losing you."

Although he kept his tone even and unequivocal, it was hard to keep the scant thread of unease from his voice. While Chrollo wanted his lover to take him seriously, he didn't want to give the impression that he was overreacting. Those particular emotions were an aspect that Chrollo was still trying to figure out himself. But even then, he knew that he wanted to keep Kurapika close. The drive to do so was always present. And he also knew that he needed the younger man in his life.

Kurapika invoked changes in him that might be seen as radical, but it was for the better. He remained the same since the day he formed the Genei Ryodan in Meteor City, Kurapika only helped create a new view on the world, and a different outlook on life itself. It altered his perspective, one was now more open-minded, and a little less jaded. Now, it was just convincing Kurapika of the same.

He needed Kurapika, and Kurapika needed him. Both of them were simply two damaged people that were brought together by fate while seeking salvation in the other. In the past, Chrollo would have never envisioned something like this, but he had no intention of ever turning back.

There was never any reason to.

Kurapika gently slid a hand up behind one of Chrollo's and brought the palm close to his lips. Early on, the mere thought of getting touched by Chrollo would have made him roll in utter disgust. Now, those hands were used to keep him safe. Kurapika buried his nose against his lover's warm skin before placing a few soft kisses on it. He then closed his eyes.

"It always pleases me to hear you say that," Chrollo affirmed as he leaned in a little closer to Kurapika's lean body. The young Kurta looked so precious when he was calm and equable. "All I ask is that you try to remember that you're not alone. I will always be there for you, my angel." He reached over with his free hand to caress Kurapika's cheek before letting his fingertips trail slowly up to his hair. Chrollo pulled that golden head to his chest before kissing the top of it. "You are truly special to me, Kura."

Neither of them moved for a while, Chrollo resting his chin on Kurapika's head while his lover stayed nestled against his hand. He breathed in the younger man's scent, and the aroma of rose and honeysuckle filled his senses. Despite that Kurapika hadn't showered yet, he still smelled pleasant.

Before long, Chrollo reluctantly pulled away and fully straightened. Kurapika looked directly into his eyes. "I should probably let you go bathe now." He said, though a bit flirtatiously. There was a hint of surprise on Kurapika's face, but it faded quickly.

Instantly, Kurapika coughed and turned away to gather up his stuff as it had dropped from his grasp sometime before. "Right." He commented, then stood after he managed to gather it all. When he looked at Chrollo again, the older man had started to busy himself with getting food for them. "I shouldn't be in there for too long," Kurapika added before heading into the bathroom.

"Take your time, babe," Chrollo said before he closed the door.

The idea of a warm bath quickly permeated Kurapika's thoughts when he glanced at the tub, and he decided on relaxing inside that instead. It didn't take him long to entirely disrobe before pushing the articles to the side and leaning over the tub to turn the water on. Kurapika then went to relieve himself and brush his teeth while the tub filled. As steam began to flood the room, Kurapika felt his body start to lax. He then slipped down into the warm water and let the sensation of it lull him.

The calm state allowed his mind to wander. Especially back to what had transpired between him and Chrollo only a short time ago. Each word his lover had spoken only lingered inside his mind.

On the other side of the door, Kurapika could make out the faint sounds of footsteps and movement.

When the water eventually turned cold, Kurapika got out of the tub and proceeded to towel off before drying his hair. After that, and once he managed to shrug his boxer shorts on, Kurapika stepped back into the main room. What greeted him was something he did not expect.

A soft, blue light hung around the small table on the opposite side of the room which had two plates of food resting on a white cloth that covered it. Fancy-like dinnerware accompanied the setup; even the glasses looked marginally intricate, though Kurapika was able to tell that none of the stuff was remotely expensive, and had a decorative appearance. There were even two lit candles in the center, though neither housed the same flickering light that surrounded the table. Eventually, his eyes found the blue light source and realized that it emanated from blue flames that danced fluidly while lingering in several different corners. Kurapika instantly recognized the ability.

"I decided that I would treat you. Since we haven't had a nice dinner in some time, I took the liberty to set this up while you were bathing." The sound of Chrollo's voice drew his attention away from the mesmerizing flames and onto the other man. Kurapika noticed that his lover had even taken the time to change. Not that he had on anything elaborate, but it definitely wasn't the same clothes they had arrived in. "Come and sit, babe," Chrollo added before gently taking his hand.

Kurapika raised his eyebrow at the gesture, but he didn't stop his lover. Chrollo guided him over to the table, and then like a gentleman, pulled out his seat for him. The sudden - yet bizarre - behavior made Kurapika suspicious as it made him think that Chrollo was up to something, but he refrained from saying anything. It wasn't often that his lover did anything that elaborate, but then again, he had been through a lot recently, and Chrollo was probably doing it to give him a break and take his mind off everything.

"There doesn't have to be any provisions for a person to do something nice for you." A voice quietly reminded Kurapika as he finally sat down. Chrollo then pushed his chair in before taking the seat across from him.

"So," Kurapika began as he looked down at the plate in front of him. Even the meal looked nicely prepared. "You really went out of your way to do this for me?" He questioned and noticed there was a glass of red wine sitting in front of him.

Several moments of silence passed while Chrollo situated himself. Kurapika's response didn't surprise him, but his lover wasn't entirely used to occasions like this. He assumed the same would happen again in a few days once the younger man saw what else he had planned. Until then, he just wanted Kurapika to rest and enjoy some quiet time. It was the least he deserved. "Yes. I just felt you should be able to indulge in a nice meal for a change. Call it a stay at home date. It's been a while since we had one of those anyway."

He reached over and picked up the wine glass before taking a sip. Despite that most of the stuff he used for his dinner date with Kurapika was relatively basic, the wine wasn't cheap. Chrollo didn't want anything low in quality.

"I see," Kurapika replied, but he wasn't displeased in any way. On the contrary, it was simpatico. Chrollo was considerate when it came down to putting him first and seemed mindful of how he felt. It was different but a suitable change. "This is something I wasn't expecting, but thank you." He wasn't quite sure when it happened, but a smile soon formed on his lips. Chrollo continued to prove just how altruistic he could be.

Even if there were times when he could be a megalomaniac.

"Think nothing of it. Anything for you, love."

They both fell into saturninity, and Kurapika took the lull in their conversation to inspect his food. Beneath a generous layer of cream sauce was a dark type of meat that he was unfamiliar with, but it had a pleasant aroma. It was also surrounded by vegetable sprigs and fresh parsley. He then proceeded to pick it up and taste test it.

"It's actually lamb chops covered in a type of mustard sauce," Chrollo interjected before he could manage to take a bite. His eyes landed on his lover. "Something like this isn't common, but it's a delicacy that you should try. It's fairly good." There was a pause as Kurapika contemplated the food. He had heard of lamb but never had it before. Still, the aroma was tantalizing. "The wine is excellent as well. Have some. You should enjoy yourself." His lover furthered before taking another sip from his glass.

Alcohol still wasn't something he had a penchant for, but considering the state of his nerves lately, Kurapika conceded. He forked off a piece of the lamb, then took a bite and was instantly impressed. The flavor was unlike anything he tasted before. "It's delicious," Kurapika said enthusiastically, and without a second thought, he took hold of his wine glass and drew from its contents. The alcohol began to slowly calm him, and he decided to indulge in it this time. It wasn't as if he planned to get drunk.

Not like Chrollo would let him anyway.

Or, would he?

Kurapika cast the thought aside and continued to focus on his meal. For the time being, nothing else mattered.

"I'm glad that you like it," Chrollo supplied from over the rim of his glass before setting it back down. It was entertaining - and adorable - to watch his lover gingerly poke at his food before having an extreme reaction. He didn't think Kurapika would behave in such a radical way, but nonetheless, it was great to see him experiencing the finer things life had to offer. He really needed to loosen up.

His poor Kurta lover had been so tense and physically exhausted lately that seeing him calm and partaking in something pleasant, no matter how small, was satisfying. The sight made Chrollo grin.

Perhaps in a few days, he would get to Kurapika to really relax. It would be a special occasion, so there would be no reason for his lover not to.

Thinking about it made the grin on his face spread even wider. He had several ideas planned to help Kurapika unwind.

Chrollo's smug expression was an aspect that Kurapika immediately noticed, yet rather than confront his lover on it - as he definitely suspected the man was up to something - he decided to pay attention to his meal. Letting a tasty dish like that go to waste would be considered blasphemy. At least, by his lover's standards.

They spent the rest of their time eating in silence before Chrollo slipped off to go shower. Afterward, they retired to the only sofa in the room to read. Kurapika sat between Chrollo's legs while he rested against the older man's chest, and continued to read further into the old, leather tome. Chrollo, on the other hand, seemed engrossed in a book that was written by Shakespeare. Several hours had passed before either of them elected to secede for the night. Kurapika stifled a yawn.

Right when Kurapika tried to extricate himself from the couch, he was instantly hoisted up into Chrollo's arms, which incited a gasp to exit his throat. His eyes briefly flashed scarlet before he unleashed a slew of protests. A finger then pressed to his lips that quieted him instantly. "No arguing," Chrollo said, then carried him bridal style to the large bed that sat in the adjacent room. Kurapika huffed in response but said nothing more.

It wasn't until Chrollo reached the edge of the king-sized bed that he was carefully deposited on the soft, velvety sheets.

The look Kurapika saw in his lover's eyes foretold there would be no contesting the outcome. Sleep was necessary, so he had to accept it. A frown formed on his features, but Kurapika slipped over to one side, so Chrollo had room to climb in. He then watched as the older man divested his shirt and got into the bed beside him. Not a second later, he was pulled back against Chrollo's firm chest as one of his lover's arms came around his waist. "It's time to get some sleep. We have plenty to do tomorrow." The man whispered against his ear before nipping on the shell of it. Kurapika shivered from the sensation.

"Yes, darling." He uttered, though sarcastically, and let himself find the perfect niche against that warm body. While he didn't always vocalize it, he loved the way Chrollo felt against him. The man had a way of appeasing him.

However, the flippant response amused Chrollo, and he gave the younger man's ear another nip as a result. Kurapika was spunky, and he loved that about his pretty blond. "I mean it," he commented with a bit of tenuity to his tone, "as I won't let you talk your way out of this." Following his declaration, Chrollo tightened his hold on Kurapika just to emphasize his words. Come hell or high water, he was going to get rest.

Besides, he adored it when his lover was sullen.

Kurapika sniffed at the command but relented without any further opposition. He grumbled beneath his breath before sighing. "I know you won't. It just annoys me sometimes when you try and force me to."

The statement made Chrollo raise an eyebrow. "Oh?" He questioned, thoroughly intrigued. "If I don't, then you won't listen. Particularly when it comes to caring for yourself. It's for your own good, Kura." Chrollo furthered, but with softness to his words. In any regard, he would ensure that Kurapika was adequately cared for. Even if that meant giving his lover oversight.

No matter the circumstances, he wasn't about to budge.

Rather than argue, Kurapika grumbled before letting his body go fully slack. He then exhaled sharply. "Yes, I know. You just don't have to be so stringent about it." Kurapika paused, then continued before Chrollo could interrupt him. "But I am glad that you care. It's good to know that someone is looking out for me." He admitted sheepishly.

So Kurapika was actually grateful for his intervention? Chrollo was nearly taken aback. He grinned again, but this time, almost impishly. "Of course, I do. Nothing will change that." Chrollo leaned in to bite the side of Kurapika's neck while ensuring that a mark was left behind. Then, he kissed the area tenderly. "Now, you should sleep." He insisted and burrowed his nose against the skin of his lover's nape.

Kurapika trembled from the sensation before relinquishing entirely. Dragging the situation on any longer would only be met with further intransigence. Chrollo made it clear he wasn't about to relent. "Alright," Kurapika murmured and closed his eyes. "I love you." He finalized before going quiet, the sound of Chrollo's heartbeat drawing him away.

The last thing he remembered was the sound of his lover's breathing, along with the quiet words that echoed in his ear. "I love you too, Kura." And the soft kiss that was delivered to the back of his neck as his consciousness eluded him.

For now, all Kurapika needed was the tranquility of his dreams.

After Thoughts: I got to say, after the bit of tough time I had with the last chapter, it was nice to actually write this one. It was especially fun to work on Kurapika's constant introspection as he struggles with his -still - conflicting morals while trying to alter his mindset to coincide with the one both Chrollo and the spiders use. Of course, our blondie knows he made the decision to become part of the one thing he used to hate all so he can let go while staying at Chrollo's side. While he harbors no regrets, change isn't always easy and requires time. Along with a little nudging from a very smooth, charismatic thief. ;)

As our boys get closer to recovering the rest of the Scarlet Eyes, we will see more instances of just how close these two get. Oh and, there will be more Kurapika/Toupe action down the line. Our favorite criminals are far from out of the picture. This goes for Gon, Killua, and Leorio as well. I have special plans for all of them. ;

I hope everyone is staying safe during this pandemic. It's been crazy out there for sure.
