Random thought popped into my head today.

Pietro was sitting on one of the sofas that was below the lab at Avenger's Tower. The team that was at the tower, who weren't currently on missions, were all sitting close by each occasionally glancing up at the lab where the Stark teen was currently located.

Isabel had returned to the tower yesterday clearly in a rage over something and had locked herself into the lab without talking to anyone. There she currently remained. She had locked everyone out of the lab as well per FRIDAY, and there were only three that could override it, all of whom were not there. Tony was in Germany, Rhodey was in D.C., and Pepper was in Los Angeles. Vision and Wanda could technically get in, but it was deemed unhelpful given Izzy's current state.

A door opened not far off, drawing their attention to see Johnny Storm walking in.

"What are you doing here?" Pietro asked.

"Pepper called." Johnny replied. "Where is she?"

Sam pointed up to the lab.

A spark of light caught Pietro's attention and he looked up with the others to see smoke, followed by a fire extinguisher, and a muffled swear word being shouted. Isabel rolled her chair back from the desk and covered her face with her hands, foot bouncing up and down in agitation.

Johnny looked up, gave a sigh, and proceeded to quickly climb the stairs to the lab while everyone looked on curiously. To their surprise, he bypassed the lock and walked right in.

Izzy looked up and clearly demanded that he leave, but Johnny ignored her, looking around inquiring about the state of the lab, gesturing to a few things including her. She shook her head, saying something.

Johnny didn't hesitate and suddenly she was thrown over his shoulder and he walked out of the lab. Once the door opened, they could be heard clearly.

"Johnny, put me down!" Izzy screamed in annoyance.

"Nope." Johnny replied. "Pepper's orders and I'm more afraid of her than you."

Sam and Wanda cleared from one of the sofas and Johnny unceremoniously dropped her onto the vacated spot.

Izzy gave a soft 'oof' and glared up at her best friend. "I don't need someone to drag me out of the lab."

"Well clearly you do." Johnny replied looking down at her unfazed. "You were about to blow it up. When was the last time you ate something? Or slept?"

"It doesn't matter I'm working," Izzy replied.

"And I'm making sure you don't die." Johnny replied. "Now I have all the time in the world and I'm not leaving until you have eaten something nutritious and had at least three hours of sleep."

The team watched, fascinated as Izzy glared back at Johnny who was not budging. This lasted for a while before Izzy finally sighed and—to everyone's amazement—gave in.

"That was I think everyone's real indication that you two were meant for each other." Pietro said as he sat on her sofa.

Izzy chuckled before it was cut off with a hiss of pain. She held up a hand before Pietro could fuss in concern over her. "Kidney shot." She explained rubbing a hand over her rounded belly as if that would soothe their dull internal pain.

Pietro had come over to her apartment in equal parts to keep her company, update her on Avengers things, and eat at least one loaf of the banana bread she had made.

Izzy heard the timer on the oven ding and scooted forward, Pietro standing to help her to her feet, which was more of a challenge lately. She was getting used to her new and changing belly.

"And even with that memory, you still had to shoot your shot?" Izzy asked teasingly.

Pietro shrugged good naturedly. "Wasn't always bad." He replied.

"No." Izzy admitted. "But I think we can both admit it wasn't completely right either."

"True." He replied.

He took the current loaves out of the oven for her as she supervised, leaning against the counter rubbing her hands over her baby belly.

"Still no word from Wanda?" Izzy asked carefully after a moment.

Pietro paused in his task of checking the bread's doneness with a toothpick, a frown causing wrinkles in his forehead. "No." He said quietly.

Sighing, she ran a hand over her face. "She'll turn up." She said carefully, not entirely convinced either.

Pietro gave a halfhearted smile and nodded.

The door opened suddenly, causing them both to jump.

"It's me Zee!" Johnny called.

"In the kitchen!" Izzy called.

Johnny walked in with Sue and following closely behind were Reed and Ben.

Izzy hugged Sue, and greeted Reed and Ben while Johnny shook hands with Pietro. She wrapped her arms around Johnny and gave him a warm kiss.

"We brought dinner." Sue said indicating the large quantity of takeout bags they had brought in.

Once dinner was finished and everyone had their fill of banana bread, they sat in the living room talking and laughing. Izzy was sitting on the loveseat with Johnny, her legs casually draped over one of his.

As Ben and Johnny were in the middle of describing a mission that the four had been on, her phone rang.

"Sorry." She grabbed it and straightened in their chair, with only a little help from Johnny. Frowning at the ID, she immediately turned serious as she answered. "Stark." She listened for a long moment. "When was this?"

The conversation had died, and all eyes were on her as she listened to the caller.

"Why are you just telling me now?" She demanded in anger. There was another long pause. "Are you sure?" Izzy asked her knee bouncing in agitation. Johnny reached out and stilled the movement, offering her a stable support. She squeezed her eyes shut as she listened to the caller. "And you're sure that's who it was?" She ran her fingers into her hair. "And you know where they are now?" She opened her eyes. "Yeah, I got it. I'll be on the chopper in an hour." She hung up.

"What was that?" Johnny asked.

Instead of answering, Izzy looked at Pietro. "Did Wanda ever mention a place to you called West View?"

What do you think guys? Should I start covering Izzy's view after Endgame?
