The group that can shoot took out another big-bearded zombie that was blocking their path, then continued on to their destination. They see a big zombie holding a barrel, but destroyed the barrel and the zombie, then took out a small horde on the right, and another on the left, then entered a door that leads them to a battlement, but then some zombies with long finger-blades jumped down to them but were easily taken out before they landed. Taylor soon said, "Sheesh, zombified versions Krueger, that's new," this caused everyone to look at her but moved on.
G shoots a button to cause a platform they were on to go down, they looked down and saw some zombies, but looked ahead and saw a zombie hanging in front of them but was dealt with, once the platform stopped lowering, the group was greeted by another hoard, but they easily taken care of, then went to a door, where another big-bearded zombie with a chainsaw was waiting for them, along with some mutated bats. After taken care of the enemies, they pressed on, taking care another big-bearded zombie with a chainsaw, they went down some stairs, and through a door that leads them to a kitchen, the moved into the kitchen and heard some groaning in another door, so Thomas opened the door to reveal two zombies in a freezer, which killed immediately. The continued to another door, when the wall on their left burst open to reveal another big zombie and a muscular zombie with a hammer but were taken care of easily. The group resumed to get to the door, that lead to a dining hall, where another horde was waiting for them, while one zombie is about to kill a scientist.
They took care of the zombies, then went to the scientist, who gives them a health pack, then she thanks them. They continued down the dining hall, taking out more zombies, and two bladed ones. The group then left the dining room, took out a groggy zombie, then another horde with a big-bearded one, then continued forward, then went to a door on their right, and took out a brutish zombie holding another scientist, who thanks them, gave them a health pack, then left with his life. The group keeps going right, took out another bladed zombie, then went into another room with two zombies and a brutish one with a hammer, which they immediately took out.
The moved forward, took out more groggy zombies, then Thomas kicks a shelf that revealed a passageway for them to enter. In the new area, Carmelita shoots some mutant bats. The group continues to go up, while Qwark shoots another horde, then they continued. nearing a new area, they were greeted by two axe wielding zombies which Bentley took out, then three more zombies were there which Thomas and G took out, then the turned around and saw a big-bearded zombie with a normal zombie, which they took out, then went to another door to another area.
They see some mutant leeches that they took out, then Thomas shoots a shelf to reveal a scientist, who goes to them, thanks them, gave them a health pack, then she leaves. Next, they reached another door where a big-bearded zombie was waiting for them with its chainsaw, but was quickly dealt with, then a bladed zombie burst out of a window, but was killed fast, then the group continued, took out mor leeches, and a brutish zombie, then went to a door that led to some battlements.
They moved near the battlements and see a scientist limping away from a big-bearded zombie, but the group killed the zombie, and the scientist thanks them as he limps away with his life. Then two bladed zombies jumped up to the battlements, but were killed easily, they crossed the battlement bridge, and went left, then to a door on the right, leading them to a lab, taking out a normal and big zombie as they entered, Thomas then shoots an arrow button, causing a platform to rise so they can cross. They soon see two zombies in test tubes, but they burst out of the tubes once the groups backs were turned, but were killed quickly, they continued to another door, but were greeted by another big-bearded zombie, but they killed it, then went down, opened a door to their left, and took out another horde, then walked down a narrow hall, taking out two groggy zombies in the process. The group soon entered another lab and took out a lot of zombies. Saved a female scientist from a brutish zombie, then she thanks them as she leaves, they take out more zombies, then saved a male scientist from a bladed zombie, who then said to them, "They're still upstairs," as he leaves.
The group climbed up a ladder nearby, and were in another battlements, but stopped, and noticed the gargoyle-like creature that took Sophie holding two scientists in its feet. The creature then said, "THIS IS AS FAR AS YOU GO!" The scientists were begging to be saved, as the creature said, "I'LL FINISH YOU ALL HERE!"
Taylor was thinking what it is going to do, got her staff ready while placing a hand to Bentley's shoulder, who was confused, but then the creature let go of the scientists, causing them to plummet to the ground below. Taylor then spins her staff and taps the bottom part of the staff to the ground, then suddenly, time just stopped. Bentley soon realized what Taylor was doing, then both of them, with Tess on Taylor's shoulder jumped and each grabbed one of the scientists just as time resumed. Taylor then used her Staff Helicopter while Bentley hovered as they gentle floated down to the ground, saving the scientists.
Bentley soon said, "I guess you didn't want the scientists to die, you used your Chronomancy ability, or the ability to magically control time."
"Yes," Taylor replied.
Bentley looked up and took out the book he used to look up the Chariot, and found the picture of the gargoyle creature, which read this, 'Hangedman type 041, then looked at the chest plate on its left, which was circled and a line that lead to the words saying, 'WEAK POINT.' Bentley soon said, "Carmelita, Qwark, we're okay, it's a long story of why we're down here, but right now the creature you see, which is the Hangedman, his weak point is the left chest plate, shoot it there to take it down!"
"Roger that!" Carmelita replied via communicator.
Taylor soon looks at the scientists, and said, "I suggest you two get out of here."
The scientists agreed, thanks them, and leaves. Bentley soon looks around, and said, "Well, I know my wheelchair can help me get back up with the others," as he looks up while the others were shooting the Hangedman and the mutant bats swarming around it, then Bentley soon said, "But I don't know how you'll get up there."
Taylor looked around, then noticed a familiar glowing hook, and said, "I think I found a way, Bentley, with the help of an old friend," she waved her staff a bit and a white gooey substance began to come out from the diamond of the staff.
Bentley noticed this and remembered that this was the Soul Robber from their last adventure, then said, "If memory serves right, you got to be near a hook to perform a Soul Jump with your Soul Robber."
"That's right, Tess and I meet you back on top with the others," Taylor replied, causing Bentley to nod, and begins to use hie wheelchair to fly up, while Taylor used the Soul Jump to get to the others as well.
Soon the see some of the mutant bats just died, though some were killed by the others while they were shooting the Hangedman, who screeched, and flew away. But it came back, swooped in, and caught the others off guard, and knocks them off the battlements, causing them to slide on a roof, but caught the edge before they fell to their doom. After a few more shots, and its wings were tattered, the Hangedman was defeated, and plummeted to the ground.
The group pulled themselves up, and Taylor did one last Soul Jump to join them, while Bentley turned off his hover pack to join them. G then said, "Despite the slimy thing you used to get up there," he looked at Taylor's Soul Robber, then asked, "What happened? It is as if time just stopped for a bit."
Taylor replied, I have some abilities i can use, the one you mentioned G is called Chronomancy, or the ability to magically control time."
G and Thomas nodded in agreement, looked at a window nearby, the group went to it, G and Thomas pumped their guns, then Thomas said, "We won't have it your way, Curien!"
Took less longer to complete this chapter. They saved more scientists, defeated more zombies along with the creature that took Sophie, the Hangedman. Though if you did read the first part Taylor Fearbrave and the Clan of Fear, if you think about it, at the beginning of the chapter, when Curien, who is called 13 started first, you should soon know that the creature that attacked the first guard was the Hangedman.
