Obi-Wan had fallen asleep once the ship had taken off. Mace laughed a little at this however he was worried. Obi-Wan hasn't gotten much sleep in a while. He should ask him about it. Mace hummed as he turned the ship to hyperspace. He then watched his sleeping Padawan. He looked peaceful but Mace saw the pain in his face. He decided to wake him if it gets worse. Mace closed his eyes and sat there as things felt peaceful for a while.

Maul sighed as he waited. He needed to wait for the right moment to strike. Even though he wanted the child he didn't want to scare him. He heard soft crying coming from the hut that he was standing outside of. However, as he walked to the door something stopped him. A rouge thought about ruining a child's life. Maul shook that thought away as he took a deep breath and snuck into the sandy house.

"Kenobi. I almost have the child. You will have my revenge. I will kill you. You killed my master so I will kill you and your master," Maul said with his arms crossed facing Obi-Wan. Obi-Wan shook his head.

"You know that won't work. I won't let out," ObI-Wan said crossing his arms as well.

"Or you can join me, Kenobi. We can rule the galaxy again. Just us," Maul added holding out his hand. Obi-Wan stared at it and shook his head.

"Never again, Maul. You didn't choose this life. I know it, I didn't choose it. Let us help you," Obi-Wan said looking around him. sand blew around him. A baby's cry is heard from behind Maul. "Don't you dare," Obi-Wan warned. Maul however laughed as he turned around and ran to the sound. Obi-wan chased after him.

Obi-Wan woke with a start and the vision of them coming out of hyperspace. "Are you alright?" Mace asked him. Obi-Wan wiped the sleep from his eyes and shook his head.

"No," he said even though he didn't want his master to find out. "Maul has been coming to me in my dreams but, it was not real. He keeps telling me that he's going to use the child for revenge on me and the Jedi," Obi-Wan said letting out a shaky breath. Mace nodded slowly. However, he didn't know what to say. Obi-Wan was just having nightmares but after what he went through, Mace didn't blame him.

"I'm sure when we get the child to safety, they will stop," Mace said not really believing what he was saying. However, Obi-Wan smiled a little. He knew that his Padawan knew as well. He was smart.

"I'm sure that they will. I hope. Now how are we going to find the child?" Obi-Wan asked as they landed. Mace hummed. "Wait, I sense it," Obi-Wan said getting off the chair and stretching. Mace smiled as he did the same thing.

Maul's yellow teeth were shown when he saw a baby with blonde hair crying, softy. "Hello," he said quietly as he reached out to grab the child. However, he heard someone running into the room.

"Anakin? I'm here," a voice of a woman made Maul freeze and run out of the room. "I'm sorry you were born in this life," the mother was saying rocking the baby. "No one should be in this life. You deserve something better than a slave's life," the mother added kissing her son on his forehead. Maul watched before he left the house. However, as he walked, he sensed Kenobi. He smiled a little to himself.

"Master, are you sure the family will let go of the child? I mean…" Obi-Wan cut off. He didn't understand the way of Jedi younglings yet. Mace nodded slowly.

"I'm sure they will be better off as a Jedi. I mean, look around, these are slave houses," Mace said moving his hand around. Obi-Wan sighed and nodded slowly. His fear was right. He didn't know how they will get the child, but they had to. He can't let anyone use a baby for slavery. Obi-Wan started to walk faster when he sensed something else other than the brightness and darkness in the force.

"Master?" Obi-Wan said in a quiet voice. Maul was near and he felt stronger. "Maul is here," Obi-Wan said bracing himself against a wall. Mace nodded slowly.

"I sense it too. Let's see the child. We don't want to engage him," Mace said firmly. Obi-Wan nodded as they continued to walk to the child.
