Chapter 6

Jacob woke to a pounding on the door. He carefully slid out from under Lydia's sleeping form. He looked at her, bruises still marred her face from Kim and Emily's assault on her.

He would never tell her to her face, that she deserved them. Just as he deserved to be alienated from his own pack.

Alienate. Kind of ironic now, considering that's what he did to his best friend, Bella. He knew exactly what the pack thought of him.

Bang, bang, bang.

He growled as he yanked his front door open.

"Jake, where the fuck is she?" a furious Bella asked him.

"Huh? Who are you talking about?" he was dumbfounded that she was here, standing in front of him.

Last he heard, she was away from here. He didn't know where, no one did. Or so he thought, as he noticed Paul approach Bella from behind and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"What the fuck is this?" Jacob growled.

Bella sneered, "Wouldn't you like to know."

Jacob took a deep breath, "Actually, I would. I distinctly remember Alpha-ordering you to leave her alone."

Paul smirked, "Only works when someone isn't an imprint."

Jacob's eyes widened, "Is this true?"

Bella's smile was genuine, "Yes, I'm Paul's imprint. We found out when he imprinted on me in Phoenix."

"Phoenix? That's where you went?" Jacob asked her.

She nodded, "Now, don't change the subject. Where is Lydia? Also, I am not done with you, Jacob Black."

"Uh, she's sleeping. Can you come back in like and hour or two? Or we can come to you?" Jacob asked sheepishly.

"Come to us." Paul stated calmly.

"Fine." Jacob closed the front door and went back to bed.

Three Hours Later:

Jacob and Lydia were standing outside Sam and Emily's house.

"Why do we have to be here? You know, they don't like me." Lydia huffed. Jacob didn't tell Lydia that Bella was back, for good. He needed her to come with him.

"Paul's back. He needed to talk to us both about something." Jacob inwardly winced. He knew Bella was pissed at his about something, and he a good idea about what.

Leah.

The door opened, "Fucking come in already."

Think of the devil and she shall appear, Jacob thought.

"She's a bitch." Lydia stated.

Leah sneered at Lydia, "You do realize, I can fucking hear you? Even if I don't phase." it was then that she doubled over in pain.

"Leah!" the pack cried as Seth and Bella ran forward to catch her.

Jacob stepped forward, "What's wrong with her?"

"You! This is your fault. Because you Alpha-ordered her not to phase, her wolf has no outlet. She hurting her. The wolf is seriously hurting Leah." Seth yelled.

Jacob was completely shocked. "I honestly didn't know that would happen."

"It's her own fault. If she didn't come after me, in wolf form I might add, she would be fine." Lydia tried to tell them all.

Bella gasped in outrage. "How dare you? It's your own fault. Because you couldn't stand on being alone, you had Jake order young Seth to stare at one of your friends for over ten minutes."

Jacob jerked his gaze to Bella, "I didn't order Seth to do anything."

"What the fuck do you mean, you didn't do it?" Paul snarled.
