Full chapter title: Have Brought Me Down Upon My Knees

Kilgharrah decided to have the letter delivered to Conláed instead of to Uther, Vortigern, or Arthur. He wanted to shake up the royals of Camelot even more with a surprise visit from the Triple Goddess herself.

"My lordConláed. The letter from your council in Terebinthia is here."

"Thank you, Merlin. You may stay for further instructions."

"Dearest brother, I'll cut right to the chase as we say in the other world. I will for sure come and visit you in Camelot, but DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT ALERT THE ROYALS OF CAMELOT OF MY ARRIVAL! I am coming to Camelot not only as an ambassador of Narnia, but also as the Triple Goddess herself, which is the last thing that Uther needs, but it is exactly what Camelot needs. And fair warning, I am four months pregnant, so I will take my time in getting there, but God forbid I stay there for the rest of my pregnancy. I prefer to give birth in my homeland, which for right now is Narnia, but that is not my fault is it? Narnia has always been my other homeland anyways because of Athair, and our ancestor Prince Judah. Before Mamaí died, you were always welcome here. I assure you we have very much to discuss. I still have every one of the letters you have sent me in the past. Did you think I burned them? I don't have a reason to surprisingly. I only ask that accommodations are prepared upon my arrival, for I will want to rest my pregnant feet. Sincerely your little sister, Caoilfhionn, Queen of Terebinthia and Empress of the Lasair, Queen Consort of Ettinsmoor and the Wild Lands of the North, Baroness of Dancing Lawn and the Marshlands, Guardian of the Dancing Trees, the Dryads, and the Marsh-Wiggles, Lady Protector of Narnia."

"MERLIN"

"Is that Prince Arthur calling for you?"

"Yes."

"Merlin, where are you?!"

"He is in here, Prince Arthur. He just delivered a letter from my council, and I am writing a reply back for him to deliver."

"Of course,Conláed. I am sorry if I disturbed you."

"Apology accepted, cousin."

Arthur headed to his chambers to wait for Merlin instead of continuously shouting for him. Though, that was a first for him.

"And you just witnessed one of the many perks of being Arthur's manservant."

"Merlin, you know of my ancestry, don't you?"

"Yes, and your sister's, Arthur's, and Morgana's."

"The maternal grandmothers of myself, Arthur, and Morgana were all sisters. Does Morgana know of her true patrilineage?"

"She does not."

"That is of use to us for now. We must make sure she never finds out. I would like you and Gaius to show me all of the sacred sites in this land. I must know where to take my sister first."

"No offense meant, your sister should already know where to go."

"You're right, but I would still like to see them."

"I can tell Arthur that you wish to tour the countryside and that you would like for me to be your guide."

"Would he agree to it?"

"I don't see why not."

Merlin went to tell Arthur this and the proceeded to the stables to prepare two horses. Back in Narnia, Kayla was preparing for her journey to Camelot.

"Bring me back something, Momma!"

"Like what, Áedaamnair?"

"A book!"

"What kind of book? Or do you want me to surprise you?"

"Surprise me, Momma!"

"I will, baby girl."

"Thank you, Momma!"

Áedamnair ran downstairs and outside to play with her siblings and the Dryads. As Kayla was packing chests, Ivar came up behind her and placed his hand on her stomach, like he had been doing all day long. He pulled her to him and held onto her tightly.

"Ivar, you haven't left my stomach alone all day. You're acting like you'll never feel this baby kick again."

"I know. I just wish we didn't have all of these supernatural burdens to carry."

"I wish that too, Ivar. But if we were in the other world with none of this supernatural mess to deal with, we would still have a major burden. I would have the burden of trying to tell people that Jews are not to blame for anything, and you would have the burden of defending me."

"And that is a burden I would gladly carry. All the way to hitler himself if I had to. Your heritage is not a burden."

"One day soon, us Jews will be able to wear the Star of David proudly, not as a mark for death. Not as a target."

"And you are not a target in this world either. You have immense power. There are literally people who worship you. As the Triple Goddess, as Calypso. No matter if you like people worshipping you or not."

"There is truly only one soul I will let worship me."

"And who is that?"

"You."

"That is what I vowed to do, isn't it? With my body, I thee worship."

Ivar helped her finish packing and loaded her carriage for the trip. Her parents, her in-laws, and the other members of her family rode up to Dancing Lawn to say goodbye to her.

"Pevensies, I promise, I will get to the bottom of everything that happened to our parents. The only details we all know is thatConláed and Jadis were both involved, but my gut says there were other players."

"Stay safe on your trip, and stay safe in Camelot."

"No worries about Camelot, Susan. I am the Triple Goddess, and I am very highly worshipped there."

"I would go with you, Kayla, but it seems only one of the there most cunning minds in this country can go."

"I'm fine with that, Edmund. It probably wouldn't be as fun as the meeting with Miraz was."

"Don't let anyone there insult you because you're a woman."

"I won't Lucy. It's not in my blood or in the way I was raised to do so. Momma, Daddy, Bobies, Mr. and Mrs. Pevensie, and my wonderful in-laws."

"We can make it without you, baby girl."

"I know that, daddy. I'm just saying please don't worry too much about me."

"Goodbye Aunt Kayla!"

"Goodbye, my little ones!"

All of her children ran to her an kissed her stomach goodbye, as well as giving their mother a goodbye kiss on the cheek.

"Goodbye, Momma."

"Goodbye, babies. Behave for Daddy. I'm sure I'll have quite a story to tell you when I come back."

"I hope so, Momma."

Kayla turned to Ivar and he looked near to crying.

"Are those tears, Ivar?"

"Of course they are. You haven't done something this dangerous by yourself since the battle with the White Witch."

"I will come back to you alive, I promise, and I have never broken a promise to you."

"I love you, Kayla."

"I love you too, Ivar."

Ivar pulled her into a heated kiss, and then hugged her tight, not willing to let go. He finally helped her into the carriage and watched it drive away. He was the last one to leave the road.
