Recovery Girl sighed, "You have three broken ribs on your right side..." Sunni gave a sheepish smile. Recovery Girl stood and out her hands on her hips, "You're going to make me earn my paycheck this year...I have a feeling."

Sunni flashed a smile, "Surely not."

The woman chuckled, "I can help out, but you need to give yourself a few good days of rest with limited lifting for it to heal quickly..." she gave her a knowing look, "Am I clear?"

"Yes ma'am."

Bakugo refused to go to Recovery Girl. That new girl made a fool of him, stepped on his pride. He was going to make her life hell while she was here. He had showered and confined himself to his room, replaying his personal loss.

"Stay down." Her voice and the look in her eyes kept creeping back to him, making him growl in aggravation. It wouldn't happen again.

His eyes looked once more at his partially written paper. He wasn't in the mood to touch it. It would merely piss him off more than he already was.

The girls were helping an almost useless Sunni settle into her room, making idle chat and plans to hang out over the weekend. A knock came at the door. It was Kirishima, "Sorry to bust up the party, but is this someone's?"

He held up a black guitar case. Sunni slowly stood, her body stiff as she made her way towards him, "Yeah I'm sorry that's mine."

He grinned, "Oh nice! Can I see it?"

She smiled and took it from him carefully, "Yeah come on." She walked over to her bed, "I'm sorry about the match today."

"Hey man don't worry about it. I underestimated you and paid the price for it," he chuckled, "You were awesome out there."

Sunni clicked open her case and smiled, "When I'm back up to speed we can train sometime if you'd like."

Kirishima blinked, "Oh?"

Mina sat on the other side of the bed, "Yeah Deku broke her ribs. She has to take it easy the next few days."

"You fought like that WITH broken ribs," his eyes gleamed, "That's so metal."

Sunni laughed and opened her case, "This is Poe." They gasped as their eyes scanned the jet black electric guitar. She gently picked it up, "It's a Fender Stratocaster."

"Oh wow it's so pretty," Ochako admired.

Mina nodded, "Is it heavy?"

The red headed girl shook her head, "Not really. Here," she offered it to her, "you can feel."

"Those are some expensive guitars," Kiri smiled watching Mina, "Just prepare for Iida to give you a speech if he sees it."

"I'll be sure to make noise so he notices," Sunni winked as Mina handed it back to her. She placed it back and closed the case. "I'll play for you all sometime."

"Are you in a band or something," Momo leaned against the wall.

Sunni hesitated for a moment, "Yeah. My brother has a band and I make my own stuff sometimes."

"Oooh, I'd love to hear sometime," Mina beamed, "Our class has musicians as well. It would be fun to all get together and play."

Sunni nervously tugged her hand through her curls, "I need a shower."

"I'll show you where the girls washroom is," Ochako offered.

Sunni let out a sigh of relief, wanting to move to a new topic, "That would be great."

"We'll finish up here. All that's left is making the bed," Asui smiled.

Sunni grabbed her shower caddy and some clothing she had laid out, "I really appreciate you all helping me. If I can ever return the favor, please let me know."

The others watched her leave. Mina huffed, "I can't believe Deku broke her ribs."

Kirishima shrugged, "She knew what she was doing. We just gotta keep an eye on her the next few days is all."

"Bakugo got what he deserved though after cornering me..." she trailed off as the walked to the door, "speaking of which-"

"He's held up in his room," Kiri looked her over, "Which might be a good thing considering all things."

She nodded, "What did Sunni say to you that made you slip up today?"

At that moment, the usually smooth talking boy turned beet red and coughed, "Eh, nothing much."

Mina smirked, "Is that so?" Kirishima nodded wordlessly. Mina squinted her eyes at him, "You know...I don't believe you." She bit her lip, "Cause our comms were on soooo."

He giggled like an idiot, "Ah w-well um."

Mina laughed before walking past him to the common room, "You're the same color as your hair."

He quickly followed after her.

After her shower, Sunni dressed in a pair of comfortable black shorts and an oversized acid washed T-Shirt. She worked a brush through her long hair, watching it curl back up. When it was down, it cascaded to her low back in a sea of copper waves. She would need a cut soon before it got too unmanageable. Right now though, she wanted a nap.

She walked back out to hear arguing coming from the boys hall. Bakugo's voice boomed, "Im not fucking going to Recovery Girl so just drop it."

She rubbed her temples before walking towards the noise. Her head peeked around the corner, "Man what happened to you?"

She smiled when his red eyes snapped to her, "You fucking happened..."

Kirishima let out a long breath. He just wanted to go watch a movie with his- er with Mina in her...room...to uh...relax. Bakugo was being more difficult than usual. Sunni could see his patience waiver as she stepped out from around the corner, "Yeah, I did. Why won't you get treated?"

"Mind your fucking business," Bakugo turned to face her.

Sunni looked at Kirishima, "I can handle this. Go on, get." Kirishima hesitated, making her roll her eyes, "Mina's waiting on you, chop chop."

He gave a shark toothed grin before sliding past them. Sunni let out a breath, "Alright, let's go."

Bakugo raised a brow, "Go?"

She nodded, "As ridiculous as you act, I know you have a first aid kit." She moved past him, "Which one?"

"You think I'm going to tell you which room is mine? You're delusional," he stubbornly crossed his arms.

She shrugged and knocked on a random door, "I'll find it myself."

Iida opened his door, "Yes ma'am?"

Sunni smiled sweetly, "I need help finding Bakugo's room. I need a first aid kit."

"Oh of course it's-"

"You better not four eyes," he threatened.

Iida cleared his throat and subtly tilted his head to the left pulsing a few times. Sunni picked up his message and bowed her head briefly, "I can manage. Thank you!"

She began walking down the hallway. Bakugo groaned and followed her, "Listen-"

She stopped in front of his door, the same look as earlier filled her blue orbs. She put her hand on the handle, "Let's go."

He reached out and gripped her hand to stop her from turning the handle. His voice was low, "I'm warning you."

"Yeah yeah firecracker," she twisted and used her hip to push open the door, "I'm surprised at how neat it is."

Bakugo wanted to break something. She was so infuriating, "Get out."

"Nope. Where's the kit," she stubbornly looked at him.

"Why the fuck do you care-"

She held up a hand, "Don't get confused. I am cleaning up my mess is all. The quicker you stop being a damn cry baby, the sooner I fade back into the pits of hell I crawled out of."

He huffed and walked over to his closet, grabbing the kit from the top. Walking back toward the door, he slammed it shut and tossed her the kit. She caught it and opened it getting what she needed. His forearms were lit up from her cards. Her lips twisted into a frown, "I'm sorry. I didn't think they'd hit like that."

"Whatever."

Sunni chuckled as he sat on his bed. The quicker she worked, the faster she was gone. She gently grabbed a forearm, cleaning off the dried blood. His shower had reopened the deeper ones, causing them to bleed. He watched her quietly work. Her hands were surprisingly gentle for someone so damn rough in the field. She placed bandages on the deeper ones before moving to the other arm, mirroring her treatment. The silence was almost soothing as the scent of lavender came off of her. It wasn't an uncomfortable silence. If anything it was the quietest it has been since he moved back to the dorms. He took this opportunity to study her features. Her freckles along her nose and thick lashes made her pale eyes pop. If she wasn't so fucking annoying, she'd be pretty.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer," she teased placing the last bandage.

"Don't flatter yourself," he mumbled.

She began to laugh, but it was cut off by a searing pain in her ribs. She sucked in a breath, staggering until hands gripped her shoulders. A hot flash went through her body. She needed to lay down. He furrowed his brows, "You drunk?"

He could see her complexion had paled, "No, I'm sorry." She cleared her throat, "It's just my side."

"What's wrong with it?"

"Just some broken ribs-"

He felt his blood pressure rise for the hundredth time today, "Are you fucking joking..."

"I've had worse. I just need rest," she moved from his hands, tossing the bandage wrappers in the waste bin. She looked at him and smiled, "Now, you're good to go, and I am going to hibernate until class tomorrow."

"Wait," he reached in his nightstand and tossed her some pain medication. "This will come in handy tonight when they start fusing back."

The red head smirked, "Thank you..." she walked to the door and opened it, "Your secret is safe with me by the way."

"What secret," he sat back on his bed closing the kit.

"That you're actually nice."

She closed the door before he could respond. He rubbed his temples. She was going to be the end of him. He then thought of their fight once more, but this time the fact she still fought with broken ribs and still managed to hold her own against Deku. Maybe she wasn't as weak and pathetic as he thought.
