Was it one in the morning? Yes. Did Sunni complete what she needed to and send it to her brother? Also yes. Was she unable to sleep because of a new project? Oh, definitely.

She was currently pacing the common room slowly with her guitar on her person. Her headphones were on to keep quiet while she plucked for inspiration. Her lyrics were out on the coffee table. She was dressed in a black pair of comfy shorts and an oversized grey t-shirt with a Metallica logo on the front. Her mouth twisted into a frown as she looked out of the windows, eyes scanning the quiet campus.

"I just wanna get this fucking rift and sleep..." She angrily whispered to herself. "Ugh why do I do this bullshit?"

Our favorite grumpy blond sleepily made his way to the kitchen to see a lamp light on and a pacing red head talking to herself. He raised an eyebrow and smirked when he heard her cussing. He wanted to see just how long it would take her to notice she wasn't alone, as he slowly made his way to get a glass of water.

"I'm gonna bang my head on a brick ass wall I swear..." she began to rant in a mocking tone, "Hey sis I know you just wrote another fucking banger for me, but the stupid video game awards wanted you to go and blah blah fuckin blah..." she plopped on the couch and rested her head in her hands, "How the hell am I supposed to keep this shit up...I'm tired."

Bakugo almost spit his water out. Was she known in music? Like, known enough to preform at a big event like that? He blinked and thought for a moment. She hasn't told anyone much about her life outside of here or before she came to U.A. He made a mental note to do some digging later.

An odd feeling crept up her body and made her blood run cold. She wasn't alone... Fuck. Her head shot up and turned to see an amused jackass leaning on the kitchen island, a smug smirk on his features.

Sunni let out a breath and stood, taking off her headphones, "I don't have the energy to fight with you-"

"I came here for water," he set his glass in the sink. She was little more testy than normal. Was she nervous he'd heard her? He turned back to see she had taken off her guitar and set it down. Her wild hair was clipped back, but a few pieces framed her freckled face and blue eyes.

She leaned on the other side of the counter casually, "You can't sleep?"

"What does it matter?"

She gave him an annoyingly brilliant smile, "Because , you're my friend."

He crossed his arms, "Who said?"

Her smile turned into a smirk, making his skin feel warm, her voice pulling him back, "I did."

"And what if I don't agree," he leaned on the counter.

"I already don't pay any mind to what your mouth spouts," she winked, "so you don't get a say."

He chuckled, "God you're annoying."

"And yet here you are," she pushed off of the counter and collected her guitar and notes. "I give up for now."

"So they want you to write a song?" He decided to pry a little.

She sighed and nodded, "And preform..."

"So you're not shitty with that thing?" He teased, seeing if he struck a nerve.

"It's for All Might," she rubbed her temples, ignoring his comment, "I just-how do they expect me to do this in the amount of time I have on top of classes-"

That name perked his interest, "What do you mean?"

She laid Poe on the island, sitting on a stool, "They're planning a tribute to honor him. Which I fully support, but, to write and produce between now and three weeks is going to be murderous."

"Don't fuck it up," he tilted his head, "A lot of people around here hold him in the highest regard."

"Yeah, no kidding. Then I'm supposed to have a farewell performance with my brothers band next weekend too-" she sucked in a long breath, feeling her anxiety rising, "I got this."

She seemed under a lot of pressure. That and school would be a lot for someone to handle. He thought for a moment, "I'm not saying bother me constantly," he looked at her, "but if you need help with school or music or whatever, I won't tell anyone."

Her blue orbs blinked for a moment. Was Mr. Hardass offering help? Was she delirious? Maybe. She nodded with a tired smile, "I will." She leaned on the bar one more time with a mischievous glint to her eyes, "And don't worry, I haven't told anyone you're actually a nice person, so you're safe."

He narrowed his eyes, "I'll take it back you keep running your mouth like that."

She scoffed and grabbed her things, heading towards the girls wing, "I don't believe you. Sleep well."

He watched her leave and let out a long breath. He was annoyingly intrigued by her. The way she looked at him, hell the way she looked anyways just... He shook his head and walked over to the lone lamp, turning it off. He needed to get the hell to sleep.

Sunni awoke to the annoying sound of repeated knocking on her door. Her messy waves were all over the place and she stumbled out of the bed, "Gimme a darn second."

She opened the door to see Mina smiling, "Girl are you still asleep?"

Sunni yawned, "Yeah I had trouble sleeping...wait...what time is it?"

"Like nine o'clock," she chuckled. We have the pool from ten to five right?"

The red head nodded, "Yes, I'm sorry. Lemme get dressed and I'll grab my stuff." She waved her inside yawning, "did you tell the others?"

The pink haired girl sat on her friends bed, "Yep! But how are you gonna play this off?"

Sunni chuckled, "I told them it was a team building thing for the class."

Mina's eyes gleamed, "You're so smart!"

"So how was your night?" Sunni pulled her shirt over her head.

Mina laid back on the bed, "It was great. Kiri is such a good guy..."she looked at her friend, "we hooked up-"

"Oh? Wait-" she paused and placed her hands on her hips, "You guys haven't hooked up before?"

"We've fooled around," Mina blushed, "but never..."

The red head plopped on her bed with a smile, "sooooo."

Mina grinned and winked, "It was good."

"Good, that's all I care about," Sunni ruffled her friends hair and stood, "I'd hate to steal his girl."

Mina rolled her eyes. It was a running joke between them at this point. She watched Sunni with careful eyes, "I have a question."

"Ask away," Sunni replied, putting items for the day into a bag.

"Is there anyone that you like?" Mina squinted her eyes and purses her lips, leaning into her hands, "Like even a little bit?"

"You know," she set the bag down and crossed her arms, "I haven't thought a lot about it to be honest." Mina tried not to show her disappointment. Sunni thought for a moment, "Let me get back to you on that."

She giggled and stood, "Let's get to the pool!"
