Sunni opened her eyes slowly. Her body was sore still, but not achy anymore. Bakugo was wrapped protectively around her. It was still early, the sky was barely seeking to start the day.

This can't become a habit,' she thought to herself. But damn was it nice.

"What's wrong," came Bakugo's tired voice. He reached up and felt her face, opening his eyes, "Your fever is gone."

"Yeah, I felt like it was. I'm just sore," she reached for her phone, "What times is it?" Bakugo watched her before sitting up, a confused look on his face. "Ugh it's just six..." She looked at him staring, "what?"

"We need to go see Recovery Girl."

Sunni sighed sitting in the room, waiting. It was early and it was cold in here. She suddenly missed Bakugo's warmth. "Don't even start that crap," she mumbled to herself.

Recovery Girl was on her way. Bakugo went to grab Deku, or kill him. One or the other. He also texted Aizawa. She wasn't sure what was going on. When she'd asked, he just pushed her out of the door.

Her blue orbs snapped to the door when it opened. Recovery Girl walked in and smiled, "Good morning."

Sunni smiled slightly, "I'm sorry it's so early."

"It's my job," the woman sat in front of her, "and I love my job." She pulled out her examination tools, "So, bring me up to speed."

Sunni had just finished telling her about yesterday when Aizawa walked through the door. He looked so tired. She felt terrible seeing him here so early. He didn't teach on Thursday's and here he was. "Sunni, are you okay?"

"To be honest, I'm not sure," the girl replied, "Bakugo woke up and made me come here."

Before the teacher could question her, Recovery Girl stood, "I think we should talk." She smiled at Sunni, "We'll be right back." She went to a cabinet and handed Sunni a warm blanket.

"Well," Aizawa leaned against the wall, "besides the obvious change..."

"I'm going to run some blood tests," the Pro Nurse began, "But if I'm going off of what she said, she doesn't need to be doing what she did yesterday. It sent her body into over drive. She had a fever all night, if Bakugo hadn't been there she could be a lot worse." She eyed the Hero, "And you better not give my boy a hard time. He called me this morning out of genuine concern."

The dark haired man scoffed, "They have rules-"

"Did you ever follow them?" She met his gaze, "Because if I remember correctly-"

He smirked, "Yeah yeah, fine. Go do your thing. I'll wait for them."

Sunni stared at her hair with wide eyes, "S-so, is this permanent?" Her hands lightly touched the white streak.

"To be honest I'm not sure," the woman carefully took another vial of blood. "It's similar to Poliosis. It's an inherited trait in some people. We will just watch it and see what it does."

She nodded quietly and let out a breath, "I could always dye it I guess."

"Oh don't be silly," Recovery Girl smiled, "it's right there in front, it's pretty." She wrapped Sunni's arm, "Now, I'm going to give you come fluids through an IV, it'll help your soreness and get everything back up to speed."

The three men sat in Aizawa's empty classroom. Deku looked like a scolded puppy, on the verge of tears. Bakugo glared at the ground quietly, attempting to keep his anger in check.

"I won't do it again," Deku looked at Aizawa, "You paired us on purpose," his green eyes narrowed and his tone was serious, "Why?"

The teacher looked at the boys, leaning forward, "Her quirk is new to more than just you all. That and the fact she could literally channel One for All was worth looking into."

"Worth it to who," this time Bakugo spoke, "All Might is retired."

"Worth it to Midoriya," he looked at Bakugo blankly, "You know what is going to happen."

Deku thought for a moment, "You're saying that by me channeling through her, I might not end up like-"

"It might sway the effects for a while," Aizawa cut in, "Not completely deter them."

Deku looked over and Bakugo, green meeting red. They were having a silent conversation before he stood, walking up to his teacher's desk, "This is my burden to carry. I'm not going to chance it hurting someone like this," he looked back at his blond friend, "not her."

"I understand," Aizawa had to say he was impressed by Midoriya's boldness...but also Bakugo's control. He expected him to be screaming at the top of his lungs, threats spewing.

"If you ever pull this shit again," the blond stood, "I'll beat you six feet in," his red eyes held a fiery rage and determination, "Teacher or Pro Hero, it doesn't matter to me." Aizawa eyed him as he walked to the door, "Deku."

"Right," the green haired boy followed his friend out of the room.

Aizawa let out a breath and chuckled, "Damn, they were almost intimidating."

Sunni huffed as she sat on her bed, "This is really not necessary-"

"Shut up," Bakugo snapped, "Recovery Girl said you had to rest until your thing or whatever tonight."

Bakugo and Deku had harassed her all the way back to the dorms. She was determined to go to classes, so Bakugo said he'd babysit while Deku went for her assignments. They were an annoying force when they actually saw eye to eye on something.

"What about your classes?" She peeled the medical tape off of her arms.

"I emailed them," he eyed her, "If you would just listen to common sense I wouldn't have had to."

She nodded quietly, "I'm sorry."

Well fuck now he felt bad. "I didn't mean it like that."

She laid back against her cool sheets, "I know. Todays just a little overwhelming on top of all the other shit," she smiled at him, "I'll get past it."

He watched as she pulled her new streak of hair out and looked at it. The stark white against her red was definitely different, but it honestly suited her. He could see her mind working, processing. "It doesn't look bad."

She smirked, playing with the hair, "Are you complimenting me?"

He sighed, "You're such a pain in the ass."

Time had passed. Sunni was sleeping soundly while Bakugo worked on his laptop for his classes. He checked her now and again to make sure her fever stayed gone. He had gotten texts from Deku and Stupid Hair throughout the day checking on her. For the most part, she slept.

A soft Knock on the door made him sigh. He stood and walked over, peeping it open, "What do you want Pinky?"

Mina held her hands nervously, "I just wanted to check on my friend."

He briefly opened the door to show a sleeping Sunni, "She's been sleeping most of the day."

"So you've been keeping an eye on her all day too," the pink girl smiled.

He knew what she was getting at and rolled his eyes, "Anything else?"

She chuckled and shook her head, "Bakugo, you don't have to be defensive." She cut him off when he opened his mouth, "Keep is updated okay?"

He shut the door and walked back over to Sunni, reaching down carefully to check her temperature. Her eyes fluttered open, "Am I still breathing?"

He flicked her head, "Yeah."

She felt around for her phone and checked the time, "I gotta get ready soon." She sighed and yawned, "I just wanna sleep."

"Your body needs it," he studied her before moving back to his work, "But I will say it's been nice and quiet."

She quirked an eyebrow, "Oh? Sounds boring."

He scoffed with a smirk, "I'm sure you'd think so."

Kirishima sat in his room looking at the tickets quietly, waiting. He was going to tune into the interview tonight.

Bakugo knocked in his doorway, "What are you doing?"

He grinned, "I'm waiting to tune in. What are you up to, Nurse Bakugo?"

The blond gave him the bird and walked in, sitting on his bed, "I wanted to talk to you about something."

Kirishima immediately sat up, "I'm all ears bro."

He sat quietly as Bakugo told him about their conversation with Aizawa, "It gives me an uneasy feeling...why would he push for that?"

The red head thought for a moment, "No you're right. Maybe we should keep an eye on her?"

"Yeah."

"Can I ask you something and you not get prickly with me?"

"Maybe."

"You like her don't you," Kirishima rested his chin on his fist.

"Why do you wanna know?"

"Because you're my best friend, man. Believe it or not, I care. Not just about the deep dark shit, but the other stuff too."

"It doesn't matter if I do or not," he looked at his friend, "I just wanna graduate and get outta this hell hole."

The red head chuckled, "I feel that. But, maybe try to enjoy it," he walked over to his laptop, "you deserve to enjoy it at least a little bit."

He smirked, "Tch yeah."

"You wanna stay and listen," Kirishima sat at his desk. Bakugo nodded and laid back, waiting for it to start quietly.

Present Mic's voice sounded, "Hey hey! It's the best time of the week! Thank you all for tuning in tonight instead of tomorrow! I will be making an appearance at the Ghost Farewell show tomorrow night, and I knew you'd all miss me..."

Kirishima's words lingered in Bakugo's mind as he halfway listened. He wasn't sure how to take his friends words. Part of him wanted to ignore everything about it. The other part, however, agreed. His thoughts traveled to her pale blue eyes, her freckled skin, the smell of lavender that always came off of her.

A familiar voice caught his attention. She was talking about her future as a musician, "It's not the end, I just think education is important. I mean, I've been touring since I was thirteen, so five years now. I just, wanted a small change."

Another male voice came in, "I am extremely proud of my sister. If it means taking a break so she can grow as a young woman, then that's what I'll do."

Present Mic's dramatic voice made Bakugo's eye twitch, "Ugh my heart! But to be real for a moment, I think what you're both doing is a wonderful thing. I know Hallie has a large female following outside of the band with her solo projects, and I think it's wonderful for her to step out."

'Hallie's' voice sounded once more, "I'm honestly quite scared," she laughed, "I wasn't sure how people would react but so far, they have been so incredibly kind to me...I had a classmate come to me recently, which scared the shit out of me, but she sat with me and told me 'I've been following your whole career, and to see you doing something like this makes me so proud', and I must be honest...I cried."

It clicked in the blond's head. The day she said she had a meltdown. Her voice continued, "In that moment, I knew that even though this new thing is completely out of my comfort zone, there were people cheering me on. It's surreal."

Present Mic came in once more, "Now I'm gonna cry! But it goes to show you that you never know until you just reach for it. Tobias, what are you going to be doing while Hallie is MIA?"

He chuckled, "Well, we are already working on a new album. So while we won't be touring, we will still be making music together with the rest of the band."

"Oh how exciting! Before we go, I heard on the wind that someone is performing in a couple of weeks at the video game awards...what's the scoop?"

Tobias laughed, "I'll be there for big brother support, but that's all Hallie."

"Hallie," Present Mic said in a sing song tune, "is it a solo thing or are you presenting?"

She chuckled, "I think both. Tobias called me last week and said they needed a song for a tribute, which I'm kinda a work-a-holic, so I said yes before even thinking about it. Then this morning I got an email saying they wanted me to present an award."

"Oh so exciting!!! I cannot wait to see that! As always thank you for coming on and chatting, and for those of you listening, I expect to see you there tomorrow night! Stay tuned, we're coming with the hits!"

Kirishima shut his computer and fist pumped, "I'm so damn excited!"

Bakugo smiled slightly towards his friend, "Yeah you get to go for fun. I'll be working."

"But you still get to go," the red headed boy smiled, "so there's a positive."

"Yeah yeah."
