Author's note: Hello, dreamers! The first thing I'd like to say is this: I've been experimenting with better chapter names! Since I have a longer character limit on my Wattpad version of the story, I'll be making the names funnier. Think something like what the Percy Jackson books have, but less funny. So, in this chapter, Lily will take her friends to the Haventown Funzone! This will be a play area based on my two favorites from childhood, which were Monkey Joe's and Plaza fiesta. Lily will use a spell to make everyone, even the grown-ups kid size so they can all play! The second part of the chapter will deal with the prelude to the mission in the next chapter! So, with that said, enjoy! (P.S: As I'm writing this, on September 28th, it's the second anniversary of this rewrite!)

It was a rainy day in Haventown. Lily was on spring break, and her new friend Vanelope was coming to visit, but the two girls were bored from staying inside all day.

"What do you wanna do?" Vanelope asked.

"I don't know." Lily was getting tired of playing video games. But then a lightbulb appeared over her head. "I've got it! The play area in the Mansion is different from the Haventown Funzone because we wanted to preserve a place the Author goes to in real life! We should ask Aurora to take us there!"

"That sounds awesome!" Vanelope agreed.

Lily went to Aurora, who was in her room. "Aurora, could you please take us to the Haventown Funzone?" She asked.

"Of course! You've been cooped up in the house for so long because of this rain, so the Funzone will be good for you!" Aurora said.

"Thanks!" Lily said.

"Vanelope!" Lily ran to find her friend. "She said yesss!" Lily said.

"Alright!" Vanelope was excited.

"Girls, get your rain jackets and boots on, and I'll take you!" Aurora said.

The girls did just as Aurora said, and got ready. They got in the car, along with some other characters, and drove to the Funzone.

When they got there, Aurora paid to get in. "Ok, Vanelope, since it's your first time here, let me show you something cool!" Aurora walked to a machine and stepped into it. The employee of the Funzone pressed a few buttons, and the machine glowed. When it stopped glowing, Aurora stepped out... small!

"This machine turns you smaller, so everyone, including grown-ups, can play!" Aurora said.

"That's so cool! That means when Lily gets too old, she can play too! You won't have to worry about me, because Sugar Rush characters stay like this forever!" Vanelope said.

After Aurora used the spell, the group got their wristbands, and Vanelope got her first glimpse of the Funzone. In the center, there was a THREE-STORY play area, with colorful rope bridges, twisting slides, and other awesome-looking things. To the left side of the main play area was a collection of various colorful bounce houses and inflatable obstacle courses and slides. To the right of the main play area was an ENTIRE TRAMPOLINE PARK!

"Alright, everyone, let's! Have! FUN!" Lily said.

Everyone ran off in different directions, having the time of their lives. There was a giant inflatable slide, and Lily and Vanelope slid it probably 100 times! The girls jumped on the bounce houses, played in the obstacle courses, and finally decided to play in the main play area.

"C'mon, Vanelope, let's pretend we're forest explorers!" Lily said. The two girls ran up a soft staircase, ran across a short bridge, slid down a slide to a lower level, and to a river that was infested with (plastic) CROCODILES!

"Let's skip across these platforms over the crocs!" Vanelope said. She and Lily started skipping across the platforms. She got to one that was too far from the next one to jump! Then, Vanelope looked up! There was a cylindrical piece of wood with a hole in the middle of it, with a hanging rope going through the hole, making a zipline! Vanelope ziplined over the croc, to safety!

"We did it!" The two said at the same time, high-fiving. Next, they climbed back up to the second level and ran across the long bridge. They ran over to this area with plastic musical instruments, which were a xylophone-type thing on the wall, and two big drums. Lily and Vanelope played the instruments for a few minutes, then moved on.

They ran, having a good time, until, all of a sudden, BIGFOOT (Sully) started chasing them! Lily and Vanelope screamed, but smiled at the same time, knowing it was just a game, and not to be scared.

They ran up the stairs to the top level, which was pretty scary! there was a helicopter hanging out of the wall, (What the heck do you even call those things, anyway?) Vanelope and Lily flew to safety on it! After they lost Sully, they ran to the tip top of the play area, and looked down on everything! After that, they decided to have a slide race! There were two twisty slides, that twisted around each other, one dark green, and one black.

"Let's race!" Lily said. The two of them raced down the slides. It was so much fun! Vanelope ended up winning!

"Wow, I won on my first time visiting!" Vanelope was excited.

Lily was happy for her new friend. "Congrats! Wanna go to the trampoline park now?" Lily asked.

"You bet!" Vanelope agreed.

They jumped on the trampolines for sometime later, until it was time to leave.

Aurora reversed the shrinking spells on everyone, and the group went to exit the building.

"So, guys, did you have-" Aurora was cut off by a blast of cold wind from outside, as she tried to open the door. When she finally got it open, there was a blizzard outside!

"Waiiit a second... A blizzard? In March?" Mike said.

Everyone was uncertain about what was happening. Until 3 animals emerged from the blizzard. A sloth, a saber-toothed tiger, and... A woolly mammoth...

"Oh, now I understand..." Aurora said.

When everyone got home, Aurora introduced the three mysterious guests to Lily. "Lily, you love the movies these three come from, but please allow me to introduce you to Manny, Sid, and Diego, the main characters from Ice Age!"

"Hi! I love your movies! I've been excited to meet you ever since I started my missions!" Lily said.

"We've been excited to meet you, too!" Sid said.

The Sub Zero Heroes continued to talk to the Mansion residents for a few more minutes until they heard a loud knock at the door.

Aurora answered it, and a man was standing outside. "Please, help! Nightdreamers have captured my son!" He said.

Author's note: So, first off, I'd like to tell you about the play area! The bounce houses were inspired by the Monkey Joe's I used to play at as a kid, and the other one was inspired by the massive play area at this Spanish mall I used to go to as a kid called Plaza Fiesta. Everything Lily and Vanelope were playing on was explained to the best of my ability, so everything in the main play area was real. As for the trampoline park, it's supposed to be based on Urban Air. I wanted to attach a few pictures of the Plaza Fiesta play area I found online to the story on Wattpad, but every picture had people in them, and I read on Wattpad that attaching pictures of people without their permission breaks the rules. You can Google them yourselves if you want, though! As for the second part of the story, You read right, we'll be exploring the first Ice Age movie! So, I'll see you all later! Stay lucid!
