Sunni sat in her room working on her assignments for classes quietly. Once they got back to the dorms, they went their separate ways. She had a research paper and proposal due at class tomorrow that she didn't want to rush too much. So she kept to herself, sorting through her thoughts. A soft knock at the door caught her attention, "Come in."

Mina smiled, "There's my baddie." She had a covered box in her hand, "I brought you some dinner."

Sunni grinned, "Is this your way of asking marriage? Because it's working."

Mina laughed and walked in, handing her the box and sitting on her bed, "I was worried about you last night. They wouldn't tell us anything, but Kiri said the way Bakugo acted, it was something not nice."

She opened the box and sighed, "Yeah...it fucked me up honestly...I'm still processing everything that happened last night."

Mina gave her friend a worried expression, "Do you want to talk about it? I swear it'll stay with me."

"Actually, yeah, I do..." Sunni told her what Endeavor had said, and how Bakugo took her home. She cleared her throat, "I had a breakdown..." she sighed before a small smile came to her features, "Katsuki came to my rescue."

Mina smirked softly, "Sunni, you know we are your friends and we care about you. We have a reputation in this city for sticking together and defending one another, no matter what." She leaned closer to her friend, "Did you just use his first name?"

Sunni chewed her food and blinked before nodding, "Yeah...he told me to..."

The pink girl grinned devilishly, "Mmmm there's a story here isn't there?" Sunni turned red and shoved food in her mouth, turning her eyes to her computer. Mina thought and gasped, "No way...seriously...Sunni."

"Swear to me you won't say anything to anyone," She grabbed the other girls hand, "He's having a tough time processing all this..."

Mina made a motion of zipping her lips, "But I gotta know...how was it?"

The blush was still on Sunni's cheeks but she smiled, "Honestly, it was amazing. He's..." She trailed off.

Mina held up her hands, "Bakugo is like an estranged step brother, so no details please." She chuckled, "But, I think he'll figure it out soon. He's never had a girlfriend, or even given a girl his time of day."

The red head nodded, "I told him no matter what, it was okay. And I meant that."

Bakugo sat with his back on the headboard of Kirishima's bed. He had filled him in on everything, even the fact he had sex with Sunni. He needed to unload his thoughts to someone he knew he could trust. Kirishima hadn't said anything yet, making the blond rub the bridge of his nose. This whole situation was giving him a headache.

"Can I be honest with you," Kirishima looked at him, "I mean, really honest."

He looked back at his friend. Kirishima had one of his rare serious gazes. He nodded, "Yeah."

He crossed his arms and sat back in his desk chair, "You've never met someone so damn patient with you. Most girls would be kicking and screaming right now. I totally get needing to think it through, we graduate next semester and with everything you and Deku are working on, this added a whole new level of things. But, to be honest man," he smirked, "I think she's good for you."

Bakugo let out a long breath and leaned his head back, closing his eyes, "You know it's not that simple."

Kirishima blinked, "Nothing worth it ever is. Do what you need to, but don't be stupid about it. You're my bro, but Sunni is my friend."

"Yeah," the blond stood and headed out the door, "Thanks."

He made his way down the hallway, almost to his room before Deku caught up to him, "Kaachan, I've been looking for you."

"What is it?" He turned to face him.

Deku held up a stack of papers, "We have to fill this out for the commission and send it in for the license."

He nodded and opened his door, "Let's do it."

Deku had noticed how quiet his childhood friend had been while they worked on their papers. The first round they went through he whined the entire time about all of the information. Tonight, he was quietly filling in the boxes. "Hey Kaachan."

Bakugo sighed, "What nerd?"

"Is something bothering you," he stopped writing and set his pen down, "You don't have to tell me if you don't want to..."

"Meet me before class tomorrow," he never looked up from his paperwork, "I need to sleep on it."

"Sure thing," he smiled slightly and continued his work once more.

"You're allowed to have multiple good things in life you know," Deku sat in the gym floor back to back with his friend. They did a short training session today before Bakugo brought him up to speed. He sighed, "After everything happened, I felt a lot like you did. Especially when it came to having feelings for someone. I felt like I had to focus and b-line for one thing. But to be honest, being with Ochako has made me a better man." He smiled to himself, "A better hero."

Bakugo let out a long breath through his nose and closed his eyes, "To be honest, it scares the hell outta me."

Deku chuckled, "I know, but that's part of the ride." He stood and held out his hand, helping him up, "Think on it. Sunni said she'd be okay either way, I'd trust her on it."

Classes had been quiet that day. They had all received feedback on their patrols from last week. They were finishing out the day with Mic when time hit to signal the end of the day.

"Oh Sunni," he called in a singsong voice, "come up here please."

She blinked and stood, walking up to his desk, "Yes sir?"

"Ugh, we talked about this! Sir makes me feel way old," he sighed, "I wanted to ask if you would consider coming on patrol with me tonight!"

"Oh?" She tilted her head.

He nodded with a grin, "I found something cool I wanted to give you and figured what better way to try it out than in the field!"

She smiled at his enthusiasm, "Alright, you talked me into it. What time?"

He looked at his pretend watch, "It's four now, soooo let's say seven I'll swing by?"

Sunni nodded with a smile, "Sounds good."

Bakugo was quietly gathering his things, listening to their conversation. Sometimes they would get asked to pull a patrol during weekdays while classes were going on. Typically were usually light patrols, nothing serious. Their eyes met for a moment when she moved to exit the room. She gave a small smile before continuing her way.

She grabbed dinner with the girls before heading to the locker room to change into her suit. Her thoughts drifted to Katsuki. She hoped he was doing okay. They hadn't spoken, or really been near one another. She missed him if she was honest, but, she made a promise to him. If anyone knew a red head, they were stubborn, she was no exception.

She walked out latching her belt when she jumped. The red eyed blond stood outside of the doorway, waiting. Sunni let out a breath, "Glad to see your sneak game is still strong."

He smirked and rolled his eyes, "You need to pay more attention to your surroundings."

She smiled, "Yeah, yeah. So what's up?"

"Nothing. I just came to tell you to be careful," he walked up to her and looked down at her, "I won't be there to save your ass if you get into trouble."

"Ah, how noble of you," she looked up at him, her smile still holding, "I'll be careful, I promise."

He nodded and reached forward, zipping up her collar, "Don't let that idiot keep you out late. You have class in the morning."

"Is Iida rubbing off on you?" She teased, earning a red glare. A laughed escaped her, "I'll be fine." She moved past him, letting her hand lightly brush his arm, "Don't train too hard."
