Mic and Sunni walked the crowded, busy streets. He was a lot different than Aizawa and Endeavor. They preferred to be away from the citizens. But Mic, he liked to be in the mix. The citizens really seemed to enjoy him. He stopped by a few places to say hello to the owners, introducing Sunni to them. A few places offered them something to drink or snack on while they walked about. She really enjoyed this type of patrol.
It was much needed after the weekend. He stopped as they casually strolled past a few closing stores and looked at her, "Sunni, if you ever need someone to talk to...I want you to know you can come to me."
She smiled, "Thank you, Mic. I really appreciate that." Her head spun around when they heard a commotion in an alleyway. She pulled her mask up and took off without hesitation. Mic smiled and quickly followed.
She slid around the corner to see a man holding a girl against the wall. One of his arms seemed to be a tentacle of some kind. He was attempting to steal her purse and bags. Mic stood beside her, "I'll let you handle this one."
"Right," she lunged forward, pushing him off of the girl and to the ground. Her immediate concern was the girl. She knelt down, "Are you okay?"
The scared girl nodded, "Y-yes thank you."
"Go over to Present Mic, he'll see that you get the attention you need." The girl scrambled to Mic. Sunni stood only to be hit hard with the tentacle arm of the man.
"You little UA bitch," he snarled.
Sunni stumbled back and winced. That was going to leave a nasty bruise. She narrowed her eyes and pulled out the gift Mic had given her, hitting the button. The new black carbon bow staff extended. She reached with her hands and made a slight twist, splitting it. She was glad she was getting the chance to test this out.
He swung his arm at her once more. She rolled out of the way and lunged herself toward him. Her quirk activating, making them glow a deep purple. She made contact with his ribs, hearing the snap. The man yelled in pain, holding his side. She twisted her body, sending her into the air as the other part of her staff came down on his back, sending him down to the ground with a massive thud. She hastily placed the cuffs on him, making it was snug on his arm.
Mic jogged up just as the police arrived, "You made quick work of that. Lemme see," he lightly held her chin and tilted her head into the light, "Oh he got you good didn't he?"
She winced when he touched it, "Yeah, it was my fault though. I need to open up to my surroundings more."
He smiled, "That would be my feedback for tonight. Let's get you back before Aizawa has my head."
She was tired by the time she arrived back to the dorms, it was just after eleven. She had kept a bag in the locker room so she could shower before heading back. She changed into a pair of black sweat pants and a random T-shirt from her laundry. Her cheek was bruised and slightly swollen from the hit she took earlier. But, she would survive.
She yawned and turned on the light in the kitchen, everyone else had gone to bed. It was late, so she wasn't surprised. She reached and grabbed a juice from the fridge, turning to see an annoyed blond. She smirked, "Hello fairy god mother."
He blinked and grabbed her chin, "What the hell?"
She winced, "I got smacked by an octopus dude trying to rob a girl."
He looked it over and sighed, "Put ice on it before you go to bed."
Sunni smiled at his concern, "I will. I'll take something to help with the inflammation as well. Why are you still up?"
Bakugo scoffed, "To make sure you came back in one piece..." He removed his hand from her chin and looked the rest of her over.
"I am in one piece," she spun around, "see?"
He smirked and nodded, "Go to bed."
"You go to bed," she moved past him and grabbed an ice pack from the freezer, "Goodnight, Katsuki."
He felt his face flush before he turned out the light, heading to his room. He laid awake, staring at the ceiling. When she said his name it brought thoughts back of the other night. Her soft sighs and moans, the way their eyes met, they was her skin felt against his. He groaned in frustration, this was going to be a long night.
The rest of the week was a blur. Projects due. Presentations for her other major. Emails with the Hero Board and Commission. Training with the girls. She was determined to do some big things. Her cheek was still bruised, but with the right makeup she could cover it. The awards were next weekend, by then it would be gone.
Bakugo was nowhere to be found today. Tobias wasn't answering his phone either. She assumed they were going to deliver on their promise to Endeavor."
She sighed and walked out into the common room to and her jaw flew open. Denki pulled his lips from Jiro and grinned, "Oh hey Rock Momma."
Sunni blinked and tried to play it cool, "What's up? Sorry I was just going to see what Mina was up to."
Jiro blushed, "N-no it's okay."
"Since when-" the red head trailed off and pointed at them.
Denki smirked, "Honestly a while...like a long while."
Jiro nodded, "We just keep it down low."
"I see," she thought for a moment, "Honestly I dig it. Your secret is safe with me." She smiled and moved past them. She stopped in her tracks, "Wait," she spun around, "So you coming to my room..."
Denki laughed, "I know how Bakugo operates." He winked, "I just gave a little push."
"Well played," Sunni laughed, "You're sneaky."
He grinned and steered Jiro down the hallway to her room. She turned and headed to the common room.
Endeavor looked over the two men in his office. Tobias Forge and Katsuki Bakugo stood quietly, their eyes on him. Tobias was the first to speak.
"I'm sure you know why we are here," he folded his hands in front of him, "I just came as a formality."
The Pro Hero scoffed, "Formality? Over that girl?"
Tobias and Bakugo exchanged a look before he continued, "My sister, yes."
Endeavor smirked and sat at his desk, "I see. I assume you came to bargain so I don't leak the information I found."
His green eyes sparkled with amusement, "Not at all. My team both here and the United States are already at work. I came here to tell you for your best interest, you will never approach my sister again."
The man narrowed his eyes, "Or what?"
Tobias casually placed his hands in the pockets of the black slacks he was wearing, "Endeavor, believe it or not I am a very powerful man." His expression turned serious, "You're not the only one who does research. The event of a couple of years ago might have been covered up...but, I am extremely capable of letting hell break loose."
Endeavor's fists balled up as he stood, moving around his desk. Bakugo moved and stood in between them, his eyes were fixed on the Pro. He was still in a cast and weighed his options carefully, his eyes flicked between the two. "Get the fuck out of my office, both of you."
Tobias smiled, "I'm glad we could have this discussion. Thank you for your time," he placed a hand on Bakugo's shoulder, "Come on, let's go."
Once they were gone he called in his assistant. "Make sure Bakugo never sets foot onto this property ever again."
She bowed, "Yes sir."
"And give me the roster for the graduate heroes for next semester." She nodded and scurried out. She returned with a list and handed it to him. His brows furrowed, "Where is A?"
She cleared her throat, "The class sent an email demanding to be taken off the roster for our company. Legally we have to comply."
The anger that overflowed him made him grit his teeth, "Get out."
Class A pulled from him? The number one hero?
