/My gift to you: and extra chapter lol Happy reading/

Time has passed in what felt like the blink of an eye, and tonight was the game awards. Sunni and Mina were currently in her room getting ready. They had permission to have half a day of classes, and would be emailed notes from their classmates. It was now the afternoon of a crisp fall day.

"Sunni, are you sure about this," Mina looked over herself. She was dressed in a champagne colored cocktail dress that stopped at her mid thigh. It was a soft satin with small straps over her shoulders. Gold medium sized hoops adorned her ears, followed with a gold necklace that stopped below her collarbone. Her makeup was light and natural with a nude lip. Her hair was in its natural state of soft, tight curls.

Sunni grinned, grabbing her attire for the evening, "Hell yeah girl, you look hot." Her makeup was slightly darker with a smoky eye and a darker nude shade on her full lips. Mina had taken the time to straighten her hair, curling the ends away from her face. She dressed in her attire and spun around, "Too much?"

Mina whistled, "That's hot as fuck."

Sunni adjusted her outfit and blushed. She wore black leather pants that hugged her perfectly, flaring slightly at the bottom, pump heels the color of Mina's dress peeked out. Her top was a fitted black jacket that had a singular button between her breasts. It flared slightly showing her toned stomach. She wore a black choker on her neck, "I have to keep the rocker vibes."

Mina smirked, "Well they serve. Your boobs look on point."

A knock came from the door, "You ready yet? We gotta jet," Tobias' voice rang.

The red head smiled, "Yeah we're coming!" She smiled to her friend, "You ready?"

"Ugh she's the hottest thing on the planet," Kirishima sighed as they left. "I can't take it."

Ochako's eyes gleamed, "They looked like Hollywood stars!"

"Well one of them almost is one," Sero turned on the TV, watching the awards get started. Denki and Jiro plopped down on the couch with snacks, waiting to see their friends.

Deku chuckled, "Kacchan is working tonight, right?"

Kirishima nodded and sat down, "Yeah, lucky. I should've signed up. Apparently Iida and Asui are there too."

"I vote next year, we sign up," Denki grinned, "We could go for free."

"It's not a party," Jiro reminded him, "You'd be working."

"You two look amazing," Tobias smiled, fixing his navy blue suit jacket, "I'll look like a professional being seen with you."

Sunni rolled her eyes with a smirk, "Slightly." She looked at Mina, "So, this might be overwhelming. If it gets too much, just let me know okay?"

The pink girl blinked and nodded, "So how does this work?"

"Well," her brother began, "They let's us out at the carpet, we walk it, take some photos, do some little interviews, and then go sit down."

"You'll be by my side every step," the red haired girl reassured her friend, "But, if they ask you how we met..."

"A coffee shop," Mina smiled, "We like the same drink."

She winked, "Perfect."

They pulled up and Tobias took a deep breath, "I'll go first."

The door opened and cameras began flashing. He smiled and turned to help Sunni and Mina out of the car. Sunni immediately took Mina's hand and gave it a squeeze before they headed in. People were yelling for their attention, as they made their way to the carpet. Tobias was the first to walk and stand in front of the cameras, Sunni sighed, "He makes it look so easy."

Mina chuckled, "He really does."

He motioned for his sister, she looked to her friend, "Wait here, I'll waive you over okay?"

Mina nodded, watching as the cameras went wild when the two stood together. "Pinky," a familiar voice called. She turned her head to see Hawks.

"Oh hey!" She smiled, "Are you working security tonight?"

The hero nodded with a smile, "Yep! You seem like you're more here for pleasure."

"Yeah," a breath left her, "I came with Hallie and Tobias."

"You...know them?" He blinked.

Right, Mina thought before answering, "Yeah! Hallie and I are close friends. We met at a coffee shop when she first moved out." She turned to see Sunni motion for her, "I gotta scoot, bye!"

Hawks watched her go with a sigh, "So jealous."

Sunni took Mina's hand and led her to the carpet, where the cameras went absolutely wild. It felt like ages they were standing there, smiling and laughing amongst themselves. Next was the small interviews.

They walked off of the carpet when a young woman caught them, "Hallie, it's so good to see you again!"

Sunni smiled, "Why thank you! I'm excited to be here!"

"So you're both presenting and performing tonight, are you nervous?"

"Um, yes," Sunni laughed and held up her and Mina's hands, "But I have my emotional support friend with me."

"So Pinky, it's wonderful to see you here tonight! Is this your first event with Hallie?"

Mina smiled gracefully, "Yes! I'm very proud of my friend and honored to be here for her tonight."

"Rumor is you graduate next year, what are your plans?"

Mina and Sunni shared a smile before she answered, "To be a hero."

The rest of the interviews came and went. Many asked the same questions, just for different outlets. Sunni was proud that Mina held her composure. Surprisingly she was a natural.

Tobias stood next to our favorite blond grinning, "They're killing it."

Bakugo watched carefully, "Pinky's always been charismatic. She likes this kind of thing."

"Hallie hates it," he chuckled, "But, it's necessary for now." He crossed his arms, "I'm interested to see what rumors come of this."

"Rumors?" He looked at the other man.

"Yeah, Hallie has never brought a guest before. So I'm assuming there will be some commotion." He thought for a moment, "Probably along the lines of dating."

Bakugo didn't mean to, but his mouth twisted into a frown, "That's stupid."

Tobias watched him with a grin, "I wouldn't get jealous. I'm sure Mina's popularity will be boosted as well. It's just the way it is when your a public figure..." He sighed as the two girls turned to join him, "You'll see once you're on the hero boards."

"Don't look so happy," Mina teased the blond.

He scoffed, "You think I wanna stand here and listen to people yell?"

Sunni gave him a smile, "Maybe someone will act out so you can beat some heads together."

He looked at her for a minute before smirking, "Get moving."

She lightly squeezed his arm before walking inside. Mina grinned, "Oh girl, did you see the way he looked at you?"

Sunni chuckled, "Mina he looks at me like that all the time...relax."

"Oh?" She wiggled her eyebrows, "Thag was an awful hungry gaze."

Her face was almost as red as her hair as they took their seats, "Girl if you don't..."

After a while, the lights dimmed and the awards began. It was an interesting experience, not like what they showed on television. There were no commercials, just timed breaks where different celebrities and people in the industry would mingle. Tobias thrived off of it, Sunni, not to much. Soon the time came for Her and Mina to go backstage for her performance. Tobias stayed at their table, sipping his fourth cup of wine.

"Are you sure you're okay with this," Sunni pulled on her outfit and fixed her hair.

Mina smiled as the PA mic'd her up, "Yep! I've been practicing."

"Ugh I'm so nervous..." she let out a deep, long breath. Looked over the outfit Momo had made her at the dorms, "You think this is good?"

"All Might would be proud," the pink girl smiled, looking her friend over. She kept her black leggings and wore a blue corset with All Might's infamous designs on it. They changed her lipstick to red and tucked her hair behind her ear.

Sunni took a drink of water and jumped up and down, putting in her earpiece, "Let's do it."

The whole class sat around the TV eagerly waiting. They had seen them on the carpet, and one small interview clip. It was all leading up to this.

"Shhhhh it's on!" Deku turned up the volume with a smile.

Mina stood on a stage off to the side, "When you hear the word Legend, you often think of great icons and heroes in history. They save, sacrifice, and dedicate their lives to the greater good, no matter what the cost. Tonight we celebrate the legacy that was, and is one of the greatest heroes to ever grace our lives. Here to perform a never before heard single, a woman who is making waves and will be legend herself: Halocene." The crowd erupted in applause.

"That's my girl!" Kirishima fist pumped.

The class cheered as the screen went dark. A blue light snapped on, making the crowd grow louder as she sang her first line.

/So, like I thought of how to write this an honestly...idk lmao. I wrote like four different versions and hated them all…If you wanna know the song this is based off of, it's a cover of Legends Never Die, by Halocene. I HIGHLY recommend listening! Her music is great! Give it a listen while you read!/

"She sounds so good," Jiro smiled, "It's been a while since she has done vocals solo."

"Ugh she's so manly!" Kirishima sighed with a smile.

"They did an amazing job with this," Momo watched the visuals behind the singer, "She looks great."

"You did a great job on her costume," Hagakure sipped some strawberry milk.

Deku watched intently, on the verge of tears. She captured exactly how he knew All Might felt when he was in work. This meant the world to him. During the war, everyone tried to demonize someone who had given them his life. To see him being celebrated by such a strong friend, it hit deep. Ochako's arms hugging his neck from behind, brought him from his thoughts.

The lights went out when the song was finished. Sunni was lowered on a platform under the stage, a PA had a water waiting for her, she gratefully took it and looked at the monitor. Everyone. Every single person was standing and clapping. Some wiping their eyes. She smiled, grateful her last performance would be a meaningful one.

She walked up the ramp, backstage to see a sobbing Mina, "Sunni, that was so emotional!"

The red head laughed and gathered her clothing from before, "Don't go messing up your makeup." She rounded the corner to her dressing room to change, almost bumping into someone, "Oh excuse me-"

Lips instantly captured hers, making her smile. She immediately knew who it was, snaking her arms to his chest as he pulled away, "You did good."

"As long as you think so," her hands rested on him, "I owe it to you for helping me."

He smirked, "Oh I know."

She rolled her eyes with a smile, "Go do your job."

He kissed her cheek, "I'll see you at the dorm."
