"Are you sure," Mina asked, climbing onto Sunni's back.
"Yeah," Sunni held the other girls legs tightly, "This won't be hard."
She looked back at the two boys before looking at the building. A long breath escaped her before she tapped her foot on the ground. Mina tightened her grip as she took off in a blur. When she opened her eyes, she was on top of the building. Sunni gently say her down, "I didn't even feel us land."
"I'm just that good," Sunni joked and peered at the boys, "Do I need to come get you?"
The girls giggled when the two boys glared and walked over to look down at the people of the festival. They were all gathering around to look out over the river, towards where the fireworks would soon be. Mina almost shrieked when Kirishima lightly pushed her at the edge. She spun around in retaliation as he laughed. Sunni smiled at them, they made a good pair.
"They're annoying."
She smiled at Bakugo, "Katsuki be nice. They're a great couple and you know it."
He scoffed, "Not as good as us."
Sunni felt a blush creep up her face as she chuckled, "We won't tell them. I'm not a dream crusher."
She turned and sat on the roof, letting her legs dangle over the edge. She felt him sit behind her, pulling her back against his chest, "I don't want you to fall like a fool."
She relaxed against him, "My savior."
Mina smirked, turning her attention back to Kirishima, "I would say today was a win."
She leaned her head on his shoulder. He nodded and kissed her head, "I think so."
Sunni yawned softly. Bakugo nudged her, "Don't go fallin asleep."
"I won't," she glanced back at him briefly, "You're just warm...it's nice."
He wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her shoulder, "Did you have fun today?"
"Yes," she rested her arms over his, "thank you for tolerating today. I know it's not your thing, but I hope you at least somewhat had fun."
Their attentions turned to the darkened sky as fireworks started. She relaxed against him as the show went on. This was a perfect day. She got to spend time with her best friend, and him. She had never gotten this experience before. She was always working and traveling. Even on her off time, she was catching up on rest and prepping work. This was a day she would hold dear for as long as her mind would let her.
As the fireworks ended she felt a kiss on her head, "Let's go." They stood and made their way back down to the festival grounds, back towards the way home. Sunni and Mina said their goodbyes and soon, it was just the two of them walking in a comfortable silence. His warm hand still had a grip on hers as they made their way back to the darkened house.
"Shouldn't they be home by now," Sunni looked at him.
He nodded and pulled out his phone to see a missed text. "Apparently they had to travel up to the other offices," he sighed, "they'll be back in the morning."
It was late by the time they showered. She yawned as she laid back into the bed. Bakugo texted on his phone for a moment before his eyes settled on her. She was texting her brother with a smile on her face. He thought for a moment before getting up and sitting on the bed next to her. Her eyes moved to him, "What's the matter?"
His hand grabbed her phone, throwing it aside. Before she could protest, his mouth crashed into hers. His arms wound around her, pulling her close to him, her hands rested on his shoulders. He pulled her on top of him as his lips moved down her neck. A soft sigh escaped her lips. He claimed her lips again in a hungry kiss before pulling away, "I'm sorry-"
"Katsuki," she interrupted him, "shut up."
Before he could retort, she kissed him again. That was all it took. She tossed his shirt out of her way before her hands lightly ran up his toned back. Her lips kissed along his jawline painfully slow. She was teasing him, something she knew better to do. Goosebumps scattered along his skin as his hands wound underneath her oversized shirt. He pulled it over her head, kissing and nipping along her collarbone. His lips moved downward, settling on her breast. Her breath hitched and his grip on her tightened. She wasn't going anywhere. He could tease her just as easily.
She arched her back when his warm hand softly made its way down her spine. The next thing she knew, she was on her back. His lips made their way back to hers in a series of deep kisses. He nuzzled against her cheek before making quick work of the rest of their clothing.
She moaned into their kiss as they melded together slowly. His hands gripped into her hair, fighting himself. He was taking his time with her. Her nails traced along his skin, causing him to give an almost shaky sigh. The feeling of her beneath him almost consumed him, her skin was like a fire he wanted to surround himself in. That stupid idiot was right, he was crazy about her. This annoying girl who showed up out of nowhere, who was a smart ass, and constantly kept him on his toes with her witty responses. The annoying girl who made him feel things he had never felt before. The amazingly annoying girl who could hold her own and was strong in so many ways, it commanded his respect. The girl whose smile brought him peace. The girl who was the first thing he thought about when he opened his eyes. The girl he craved, just to be in her presence. The girl who drowned out the rest of the bullshit. The girl...he was helplessly falling for.
He rested his forehead against hers as the both caught their breath, coming off of their high. He rested his arms on either side of her head and placed a soft kiss on her cheek. Sunni's hazy blue orbs looked at him before she placed a soft kiss on his lips. They stayed like this for a while, not speaking, just small notions of affection, sharing the peace they created.
