A/N: Warning for Fanfiction readers, there is a mature scene in this chapter.
Sam sat on her bed, relaxing as she watched some Youtube videos on her phone.
Nolan was out with the Guardians saving collapsing Oil Rig.
It had been a few days since the incident at the Guardians base with Soldier Boy.
When The Boys had returned and heard what happened, the first thing Billy had done was gun it for the kitchen, where Becca had taken Ryan to relax. She had never seen him so worried, and it was a site watching him check the boy to make sure he was alright.
Nolan had recommended Soldier Boy get signed up in therapy in order to somewhat cope with his PTSD, and the veteran had complied after some thorough convincing.
Which basically just accounted to Stormfront ripping Soldier Boy a new ass when he refused at first.
Despite the scary experience, Ryan was more determined than ever to spend time with his grandfather. In fact, once Soldier Boy had calmed from his panic attack, Ryan had been the first one to seek out Soldier Boy, wanting to make sure his grandpa was alright.
Ryan's back did have a bruise, which was a miracle considering where it had come from.
When Soldier Boy had thrown Ryan from the room, he'd thrown him hard. Ryan's back had dented the metal wall, and the boy had only just come away from it with a bruise.
All in all, pretty lucky day.
Ever since, Stormfront and Soldier Boy had been made members of the guardians, and in the four day period between then and the present, an abundance of heroes had been accepted into the Guardians.
As a matter of fact, not counting the eight founding members and Nolan, the Guardians of the Globe currently sat at 43 members, plus Soldier Boy and Stormfront.
With an actual organization to manage, Nolan had decided to go ahead and give each founding member specified roles.
Queen Maeve was officially appointed combat trainer, since outside of Nolan and Soldier Boy, she was the only one with actual training, having done it as a side hobby.
Ice Princess was a graduate of medical school, despite being a superhero, and she was exceptionally skilled. Taking into account her ice abilities for cooling therapy, and was rather well qualified to be the Guardians physician.
Dobrinya was the strategist for the base. Vas had since officially changed his superhero name. Now, he was Dobrinya, not Love Sausage. Due to his military background in one of the most militaristic countries in the world, Dobrinya was very well suited to teach tactics to the team.
Starlight and Supersonic had volunteered to help people around the base, since they had no specifications that really required training. Though, Supersonic had been giving permission to assume control of the training base for exercises amongst members who wanted to participate, so long as he ran a specified time across Maeve.
Noir was to train people to pilot the V-Tol's in case any of the designated pilots were unavailable, or worse. While many people were put off by Noir's presence in general since his crimes were made public, a lot of them soon found themselves relaxing around the silent ninja, who was a surprisingly gentle and patient teacher.
Kimiko wasn't really given a role, admittedly. Outside of a type of sign language she only taught her closest friends, which didn't include anyone but possibly Frenchie at the moment, no one could really understand her. Even when out on missions, she received orders, but never gave them.
Silver Kinkaid was the one that had surprised her the most. In addition to her sonic voice, she had the ability of telekinesis and telepathy. As a matter of fact, she was exceptionally powerful. So, she had volunteered to train people with mental abilities, help them control the wildly powerful abilities they possessed.
That left Nolan, who had the position as the head of the organization, the leader. While he made it clear that all of the founding members had the same amount of say in how the Guardians would operate, most, if not all members of the Guardians of the Globe had agreed that Nolan was more than likely the most certified to lead them.
It had been a crazy few days.
Things at the theater had changed as well.
Since everything had gone down with Vought and Homelander, the theater's business had surprisingly picked up. With the announcement that superheroes would not be making movies anymore, many people had flocked to theaters to see the ones still showing, before the chance to see a film starring a real superhero was gone completely.
Considering the flock in business, they didn't have a chance to sit around like they used to, so they were almost always busy between movie breaks.
They had definitely gotten lucky with Nolan as their security guard. They had already had five incidents, including one where a man had slapped her ass without her consent.
Ellis had promptly punched the man.
Nolan was hauling the man out by his hair five seconds later.
Suffice to say, the rest of that day had gone without a hitch.
Sam and Nolan had fallen into a routine in the time they'd been living together.
Since Nolan was getting money from the government now, he was pretty much ready to move out on his own, but admittedly, both parties were interested in at least trying to be roommates.
Plus, the fact that they were interested in each other.
She had been hesitant at first, but after some convincing from Nolan, she'd agreed to let him take most of the rent, and in turn, she'd cover the other bills.
They'd alternate between who would cook dinner, but it was essentially a no brainer on who would make breakfast.
Nolan was great with pancakes.
Sam had also pretty much given up on trying to do the dishes when Nolan was home, since he was pretty much a brick wall when he wanted to be.
She was also wise as to why an airhorn and a Viltrumite was a bad idea.
When she'd asked why his ears were bleeding when his fight with Homelander began, he'd explained that Viltrumites had a weakness to extremely loud sounds.
It was why he had such a bad reaction to the airhorn, despite the airhorn being nowhere near loud enough to hurt Nolan's ears.
She had promptly chucked the airhorn out the window.
They'd gone on a few more dates, and they were actually set to go to the fair later that week.
Despite the fact that Sam was still terrified of heights, She'd gotten used to flying with Nolan, especially since the trip usually only lasted for a second. Plus, closing her eyes during the trips definitely helped.
They had definitely gotten closer, and Becca's words were both reassuring and encouraging.
She'd be lying if she said that she didn't want to have something more with Nolan.
Despite the fact that they still went on dates, they hadn't yet clarified whether they were actually a couple, or if they were simply working up to it.
Regardless, Ellis had been happy for her, and so had Mr. Smythe.
Though, she was still relentlessly teased for her ogling, which was something that even the Guardians and the Boys had picked up on.
She wasn't sure who was worse with the teasing, Ellis, Frenchie, Vas, or Billy.
It was odd, and refreshing in a way.
Thanks to meeting Nolan, she'd gone from little to no family, to one composed of Superheroes and government agents in no time.
Becca was practically her bestie at this point, the two of them almost always excited to have some sort of conversation.
It felt… good.
Sam had found herself watching Youtube for a while now. She wasn't really watching anything in particular, just whatever caught her eye, whether it was funny, interesting, or just plain stupid.
At the moment, she was watching a video bashing Nolan.
"Sure, he brought the truth about Homelander to light, but are we really sure it was for altruistic reasons? I mean, only a week after Homelander's dead, and he's the leader of a team much bigger than the Seven, with three of the founding members of this new 'Guardians of the Globe' team being from the now disbanded Vought team. I just find it a little fishy."
Sam snorted at the info. "Well, I think you're just looking for some attention bud, but you do you."
"And people completely ignore the fact that he is extremely similar to Homelander, right down to their abilities. I mean, what, people can't see past his muscular exterior to the monster that likely lies inside?"
"Well, I happen to enjoy those muscles, thank you very much." Sam spoke to herself with a role of her eyes. "Though… I am interested in seeing the monster inside…"
Sam blushed at her words, the idea entering her head before she could even dismiss it.
"I mean, we seen his power, how fast he is, how strong! Look at what he's did to Homelander, and we all know Homelander was a rapist. How do we know Omni-Man doesn't have a bunch of poor women locked up somewhere, using them as his toys."
"I'd let him use me as a toy- No, bad thoughts Sam!"
Though, she had to admit, the idea… it wasn't repulsive.
Nolan was kind, caring, always so thoughtful, and he was extremely attractive. Those abs, those arms, that mustache… Sam practically moaned at the thought.
But she and Nolan weren't really… together, yet. Was it really okay to be thinking of him in that way?
Then again, she'd had plenty of thoughts about Nolan already. It was hard for her not too, especially considering they were living under the same roof.
And it wasn't like she just immediately started thinking lustful thoughts, it's just, her thought process would grow curious, one though led to another, and she'd grow curious about what it would feel like to have Nolan completely ravage-
No! No, no, no, no! She wasn't a pervert for Christ sakes!
…oh who was she kidding, she wanted him to ravage her until she couldn't walk. The thought of a man, that large, muscles rippling, just slamming into her…
She found her hand gliding down to her pants.
"Wait, no, I am not going to masturbate to the thought of Nolan's sweaty, hunky muscles- wait, no!"
Sam groaned as she let her hand fall to her chest, her phone still in her grip.
She could not stop thinking about Nolan, the idea of…
Maybe she just needed to get the fantasy out of her system?
"Maybe… I just need to get some relief…" Sam pondered, thinking. It has been a few days…
"Fuck it."
Sam wasted no time in kicking off her pants, letting them slide off the bed as she sat up, pulling her shirt off over her head.
Unclasping her bra, she immediately tossed it aside, before taking her panties and sliding them down her legs, slipping one leg out and litting them hang on her ankle.
Laying back down, she grabbed her phone as she immediately searched to find material, her hand immediately moving down to stimulate herself.
As she looked for anything, particularly, something hot and steamy, she was already panting as she rubbed her sensitive nub.
Eventually, she found a video, a roommate scenario, funnily enough.
She was desperate to find relief, so she impatiently skipped through the video until she got to the part where they were doing the dirty.
Sam's hand moved a little more eagerly at the site of the man slamming into the woman vigorously, his hands tightly gripping her hips as she was bent over a counter, holding the edges for dear life.
The short dark hair of the man stuck out to Sam as she rubbed herself, and she imagined herself in the woman's place taking it hard and fast from someone so big and eager to please.
Her hand moved a little lower, until her finger slipped inside of her, gasping as she pumped her finger in and out of her, her thumb still rubbing her clit aggressively.
The woman in the video was practically screaming from the pounding, and Sam found herself slightly jealous as she watched the video, deprived of a good lay for a while.
As the video went on, Sam slowly found her imagination morphing the features of the man. The lower parts of his short black hair turned white, his angular jaw taking on a more squared appearance, and a bushy mustache grew on his now very familiar face.
"Nolan…" Sam gasped out, her finger growing more vigorous within her as she found herself rubbing even faster.
Eventually, a scenario was working its way into her mind once more, as she found her grip on her phone loosening, her hand instead moving to grip her breast for dear life.
"Nolan…" Sam shuddered as she was wracked with pleasure, her brain conjuring the image as she closed her eyes of Nolan on top of her, deep within her, rather than her fingers.
She flicked her nipples, moaning in pleasure as she added another finger, the tips of her fingers rubbing that glorious sweet spot in her depths.
In her head, it was Nolan, her legs hooked at the knees by his strong arms, his hips moving hard and fast as he thrusted into her.
"N-Nolan!" Sam was gasping now, desperate, her fingers moving quickly as she groped herself, her breast, her pussy, and her entire body flooding with pleasure, the imagined image of Nolan's sweaty face on top of her lighting a fire in her loins.
She was close now.
Unfortunately for her, so was someone else.
She could feel it, her orgasm, approaching rapidly. Her legs were spread apart wide, her womanhood throbbing with need as she ringered herself to climax, her hand gripping her breast tightly.
She could feel it! She was gonna-!
"NOLAN!"
"Sam?"
That was the worst possible outcome she could've possibly imagined.
She yelled out in both pleasure and shock, her orgasm washing over her as her legs twitched, her fluids staining the white sheets of her bed as her head snapped towards her door.
And her heart stopped.
Standing at the door, a look of startled realization on his face, was Nolan!
"Oh my god!"
Sam grabbed the nearest thing she could, her cover, and pulled it over herself, her face flushed red from embarrassment at the fact that she'd been caught masturbating.
To make matters worse, she was caught by the man of her affections.
Thankfully, once Sam had grabbed the covers, Nolan had immediately bolted out of the room, slamming the door shut, but the damage was done.
Nolan had caught her moaning his name.
He had caught her masturbating.
How the hell would she face him?
Nolan sat on the couch, his thoughts racing a mile a minute.
When he'd gotten home and heard Sam moaning, he had reacted on instinct. He'd rushed to her room, and opened the door, to make sure she was okay.
In hindsight, he probably should've at least listened to make sure what he was hearing was pain, and not pleasure.
Cause the site awaiting him had been one that he most certainly wasn't prepared for.
Sam had said his name! While she was masturbating!
Honestly, it wasn't really a surprise. He already knew that she liked him.
Maybe it was the shock that he'd seen her naked.
Plus, regardless of how likely it was that she'd done it before, it was still quite the experience to walk in on someone moaning your name.
Nolan sighed, his head resting in his hand.
He could only imagine how Sam felt.
He had changed out of his Omni-Man suit, and it had been a few hours since he'd returned home.
She still hadn't left her room.
Honestly, he didn't have the balls to go talk to her.
How would he even begin the conversation?
How did it… how did it make him feel?
He wasn't weirded out. Not by any means. He was actually flattered.
In fact, he'd be lying if he said a part of him didn't enjoy the site.
Sam was a beautiful girl, and seeing her body like that, completely bare, had only reinforced that opinion.
But they were both still unsure of where they stood in terms of their relationship.
They were dating, for sure, Nolan admitted that. But both still had a bit of a reluctance in establishing themselves past friends.
Sam, because she was too scared to ruin anything with Nolan.
And Nolan because… Debbie.
Nolan would always love Debbie, that would never change. But a part of him didn't want to let go of what little he still had of her.
Oh, who was he kidding? He had nothing but memories of her.
Perhaps, finally letting it go, hurts because it makes it all the more real.
But he would never be able to be with Debbie.
So was letting go really all that bad?
Nolan was thrown from his thoughts by the sound of a door opening.
Sam was finally coming out.
She clearly had more balls than he did.
Turning to look down the hallway, he saw her slowly stepping out into the living room.
Her hair was fixed, a far cry from the mess he'd seen for a split second. She was dressed in a black AC/DC shirt,
The two looked at each other, both nervous and unsure of how to really start the conversation.
"Um, hi, Nolan…" Sam greeted quietly, refusing to meet Nolan's gaze out of sheer embarrassment.
"Uh… Hi, Sam." Nolan responded, feeling just as awkward as she did.
The two once again fell into an awkward silence, unsure of how to even begin this conversation.
"I, um… I'm sorry, for barging in like I did." Nolan apologized, rubbing the back of his neck nervously. "I thought you were in trouble."
Sam looked up at Nolan, confused. "In trouble?" She asked quietly.
"I uh… I could hear you, the moment I walked through the door."
Sam's face only turned even redder, embarrassment flooding her as she looked down. "Oh my god…" She muttered softly.
Nolan realized that he probably hadn't just helped the situation. "I'm sorry. I reacted on instinct and I-I wasn't thinking." He felt more nervous here than during any fight he'd ever had in his life
"I'm sorry if I weirded you out." Sam apologized, her voice quiet as she kept her gaze down.
Nolan's eyes widened as he stood up. "What? No, you didn't weird me out!"
"You don't have to lie, Nolan." Sam muttered.
Nolan moved around the couch approaching Sam. "I'm not lying, Sam! It wasn't weird, it was actually kind of flattering."
Sam finally moved her gaze to look up at Nolan, albeit hesitantly. "Flattering?"
Nolan nodded, smiling. "I… to know that you think of me in that way, it isn't weird to me at all." He raised an eyebrow in an attempt to lighten the mood. "I mean, considering your ogling, you have to have had some sort of attraction like that."
Sam shook her head. "But I don't want you to think I'm just some pervert." Sam admitted. "I like you. Like, I really like you, Nolan. More than just friends."
Nolan nodded. "I know that Sam. I… I like you that way too."
Sam's eyes widened as she looked up at Nolan. "You do?"
Nolan smiled as he nodded, resting his hands on her shoulders. "I felt something towards you for a chunk of time I've been here, but I guess… I guess I've just been too nervous to act on it." He admitted, averting his own gaze from hers.
Sam looked incredulous at his confession. "You? You've been nervous?"
"I… I was too scared to let go of Debbie." He admitted.
"Your wife?"
Nolan nodded. "Yeah. I… I still love her. I think I always will." He turned away from her, a forlorn look on his face. "I just… I couldn't bear to let go of her. To finally accept that I'll probably never see her again. Move on."
Sam looked at Nolan, surprised. She felt bad. She wasn't trying to replace his wife, she wasn't trying to replace anyone. She truly liked Nolan. She wanted him to be happy, to…
She wanted to make him happy. Make him enjoy his time here, feel like its home, instead of just a place he has a responsibility too.
"I… I don't want to be some replacement, Nolan." Sam said honestly, stepping closer to him. "I… I want to make you happy. I want you to be happy."
"Sam, you're not some replacement." Nolan said with a soft smile. "You are not Debbie. You're completely different. You're both similar, but… you're so much more bubbly, energetic, outgoing."
Nolan turned back towards her, and rested his hand on her shoulder, smiling at her.
"You are a woman who will not let anyone get in your way. You say what you want, even if you feel like it may hurt someone's feelings, and you aren't afraid me, even after…"
Sam raised an eyebrow, smirking slightly. "After you bent me over a table?"
Nolan couldn't help the surprise at the unexpected innuendo. "I-I, uh, I mean…"
Sam giggled, wrapping her arms around Nolan's chest. "I'm kidding, Nolan."
Nolan smiled, wrapping his own arms around her form, returning the hug. "I… I want to see where this goes. What we have." Nolan admitted. "I think… I think I want to try and move on."
Sam smiled up at Nolan, resting her chin on his chest. "Does this mean that we're… together?
Nolan smiled, and leaned down, his face inches away from her. "Why, yes. I do believe it does."
Sam smiled, and pushed herself up on her tippy toes, her eyes fluttering as she closed what little distance remained between their faces.
Their lips met for the first time, and both could safely say that it was an extremely satisfying moment, to finally seal the deal. To confirm and reassure each other that their feelings were true.
When they seperated, they simply stared into each other's eyes, content with each others presence.
"Barlows?" Sam proposed. Nolan grinned.
"Movie afterwards?"
"Deal."
Klara lay in the bed, Ben's face tucked into her bosom as he slept, another round of lovemaking leaving them both completely satisfied.
He looked so peaceful, sleeping against her.
Klara hoped that she could get him to understand her views.
For now, she'd keep her past quiet. She'd ease him into her ideas, and make sure that he didn't ever find out about the Nazis.
People liked what she had to say. They believed it. They understood it.
They just didn't like the word Nazi.
But the time would come. She and Ben would lead the superior race. Lead them to victory in this war for the culture.
But first, she had to get rid of Omni-Man.
Already, the traitor was pulling Ben in, corrupting him with his lies, his… ideals… and it was showing.
However, perhaps one good thing came from this.
Little Ryan Butcher. Ben's grandson.
They could use him. He was a good boy. A shining star.
They just had to get him from his bitch of a mother, before she corrupted him. They just had to get him away from Omni-Man, and that piece of shit Brit, Butcher.
They needed to teach Ryan properly.
He was a part of the master race.
And he belonged with them.
With his grandfather.
Not these mindless inferior people.
The day would come when Omni-Man would fall, and her plan would begin.
She just needed to make sure Ben and Ryan knew the truth of the world and remained incorrupt in the meantime.
Klara looked at Ben lovingly as he slept atop her. And she wrapped her arms around him as she closed her eyes.
She loved him.
He'd see things her way.
He had too.
A/N: And that's the chapter.
So, the idea of Nolan catching Sam masturbating actually came to me a long time ago, when Nolan first agreed to live with Sam in Chapter 8, but then, it was more comedic in my head.
However, the idea evolved. Instead of a comedic scene, it would be something that forced them to confront the feelings they clearly have for each other. To finally bring them together.
So that's what this chapter is dedicated to. Finally turning them into a couple.
And just a little reminder, that despite the genuine reactions Stormfront has to some seriously disgusting stuff, she is still a hardcore racist Nazi. And she's already making plans to bring Ryan onto her side and take him away from his friends and family.
Anyway, that's the end of the chapter, I hope you enjoyed it. Don't forget to review, and I'll see you in the next chapter.
