Leilani looked up at Alaude after Hibari had already left. "You leave his test up to him?"

He looked down at her, not answering.

"So would you mind if I take over that task?"

"Do as you please. But I advise you I don't take kindly to bias." and with that the first generation guardian vanished.

Leilani sat down, cross legged.

What would be a good trial for Hibari? Something that would be good enough to satisfy Alaude? It couldn't be just putting him against a strong opponent. Same as it would be useless to make him fight against her.

He was supposed to show how he was a cloud guardian… What was Hibari lacking? Definitely not the cloud part but… the guardian part. Definitely.

She bit her lip as the idea started to creep up. Was that going too far? It was extensive and she would have to rely on her belief that he did listen to her. It was completely up to him and would rely on Tsuna as well… It was borderline insane. Maybe not just borderline but… could she even do something lesser?

Alaude didn't seem like he would accept something half hearted and Hibari was strong… mentally and physically.

She sighed before standing up, padding the dirt from her pants. This could go horribly wrong but… hadn't she said she would wing it?

Now she just had to make use of what she had done the whole time and hope that Reborn actually was a good enough teacher to the Vongola Heir and that Tsuna actually was even remotely similar to her.

But first she needed to go shopping. Maybe she would get a better idea… something more normal… maybe.

Her shoppingbag was thrown across her back as she slowly made her way towards the tenth generation. How fitting that their tutors were with them as well. She wasn't sure if she should take Yuni with them. Probably.

So she gave her best to stare at Yuni who rather quickly looked down at her, just nodding at Skull. She already seemed to know. Leilani wouldn't complain though.

She casually leaned against Nello as soon as she reached them "I can stop your discussion. Alaude came."

Immediately all attention was focused on her.

Reborns eyes were drilling into her "What is the trial?"

"Nothing."

"What?"

"Hibari lost interest as soon as Alaude didn't want to fight him." she shrugged her shoulders.

"And what are you planning to do to convince him?"

"Nothing."

Reborns eyes narrowed, clearly trying to figure out what was going through her mind.

She stayed quiet though as the teens started to curse and discuss what they were supposed to do. She didn't comment on their panic but snatched up Colonnello's hand before he could make an attempt to follow them, as they were swarming out to find the cloud to convince him.

Leilani waited until they left completely, ignoring the questions and sharp gazes on her "So. Now that they are gone we can start this. Alaude allowed me to give Hibari his trial."

Reborn immediately stepped towards her "What is the plan?"

"You will see. First of all we should go to the roof. Hibari is currently patrolling outside the building and will do so for the next hour. Oh and Viper?"

Leilani smiled slightly "I could use your help on this. Would make this way smoother."

She was already walking but the miser had settled on her side "What do you need?"

"You need to make a real illusion for me. Nothing more. Just manifesting a specific creature I have in my mind."

Reborn shook his head "Hibari knows illusions. How should that test him? He will just get angry."

"Oh it won't stay an illusion. I'm gonna work on it but for that it's easier to start with something than nothing and Viper is way more skilled than I when it comes to this aspect."

She hoped through the door "Viper? You're able to manifest something if I think about it, right? Linking with me to manifest my thoughts, right?"

"Mou. I can do that. What are you trying to make?"

"Something from home. A creature actually."

"And you think that will pose a challenge to Hibari big enough for him to pass the trial?" Fon raised an eyebrow
"I suppose so." Her lip quipped slightly upwards "It's my greatest fear actually."

"You sure you want to do that then?" her rain immediately asked, worry ringing through his voice as they had made it onto the roof.

He still held her hand and she just nodded "Yeah, it's alright. I dealt with them a lot back then."

She let go and stepped forward "You ready, Viper?"

"Yes."

Leilani focused. She had never forgotten how Dementors looked, she couldn't have. It was weird to think about them in great detail like this and she felt a slight cold clouding her mind just by focusing on them to such a degree.

It was weird when she opened her eyes again. Viper had done a good job. The creature wasn't moving and she could feel the mist flames on it but… it was a perfect copy of a real dementor.

The miser still looked at the creature "And you want me to do what with it now?"

"Nothing. I will do the rest. Would you all mind going back a bit? I'm not sure how this will go."

Fons voice broke the immediate silence "You have no clue what you're doing?"

"When do I ever?" She snorted, stepping towards the Dementor.

"I thought you were afraid of it? And now you act like it's nothing and want to experiment with it?"

"I'm used to it. So please step back?"

She could hear an expirated sigh but didn't turn around, instead she let her sky flames flicker out "protection first."

Prongs jumped out of her flames instantly. She had to smile at his sight but didn't spend more attention on her patronus, instead gathering her flames more and more. Concentrating them and carefully watching how they turned purer by the second. Her eyes long shining in a bright orange.

She slowly stepped even closer to the dementor, carefully guiding her magic into him.

Viper sharply inhaled "I lost control of it. It's…" they stared "It's… no illusion?"

Leilani kept on pushing, it was hard. She completely had to concentrate on reversing her sky flames. She had theorised that she would be able to imitate a dementor's effect. They were born from pain and suffering after all.

She focused her emotion, her own memories and her magic more and more, her other flames already flickering up, aiding her. She could feel it. She could feel them translating her wishes but something wasn't there yet. She kept pushing completely ignoring how her chest tightened, how her pacifier burned against her chest, how the curse was weighing down on her magic, trying to contain it but she was more stubborn.

Air came harder for her but she didn't stop. Her eyes burned up but she kept on pushing, filling herself with will, determination. She wanted to achieve this. She could. She just had to do it.

The next moment something gave in, something clicked and something cracked.

The air immediately filled with a burning coldness and she could already hear screaming in her head. The same moment the dementor's hand starts to move she stumbled back and Prongs jumped over her, pushing back the creature.

Her breathing was ragged and she coughed up, her curse painfully tightening around her as it had snapped back in place, more restricting than ever before. Numbness and cold still raging through her body, same as how her ears were still ringing as the dementor was pushed back.

The next moment Reborn was in front of her, staring at her pacifier in horror, at the visible harshly lined crack in it.

"What did you do?" his voice breathless and she could see panic in his eyes.

"Created a Dementor, well a copy. Not the real deal." her breath was still going raggedly, she was wheezing and another cough shook her body.

"Your pacifier cracked!"

"Alright?"

"You could die from that!"

"I didn't though?"

"Skull."

She groaned out, already fishing behind the back behind her to pull out two chocolate bars, shoving one at Reborns chest "Quit yapping. Eat chocolate. Helps with the after effect. I have to watch this."

She dodged around him, ripping open her bar as she jumped up the railing to let her legs hang over them "Everyone take some chocolate. Believe me."

Reborn hadn't moved, his fist curled up and seemingly trying to contain himself.

Colonnello had jumped up next to her, actually having taken the chocolate "Are you alright?"

"Yeah." she still wheezed but bit into her chocolate, already feeling relieved as the cold melted away and her eyes focused on the Dementor. Prongs had pushed it back completely and it was nearing the Vongola group.

"What was that? What do you have planned?"

"A dementor, sure it's not as strong as the real deal and it can't suck out souls but this should be enough of a challenge."

He paused, "...you had these creatures at home?"

"Yeah, they guarded our prison. In theory I knew how they were created and I was betting on the fact that I could build a cheap copy. Anything less would have been able to get beaten by Hibari. Anything more would have destroyed everything."

"Wait? You don't want Hibari to beat it?"

"No, not really. Wouldn't be a trial otherwise, right?"

"But he's supposed to pass, kora."

"I'm confident in him." Prongs came back to her and she slightly leaned in his direction when his snout hovered over her head.

It was time to see if Hibari actually had it in him to be a guardian or if Reborn had completely messed up back then when he appointed the cloud.
