Chapter 33 - The Arc of Mushroom Kingdom Part 3: Exploring the Mushroom Kingdom for Tour!
(Outside of Princess Peach's Castle)
On the morning of the following day, Axol waited outside for the heroes to come out of the castle. Mario and Luigi have walked out of the entrance alongside Yoshi, Geno, Goku, Venus, Zill, Ripley, Charlie, and Aggie.
They already told Princess Peach, Rosalina, Lucifer, and Lilith about Kraang and Saïx's arrival, even telling a little more about the Dark Star.
"Well... How did it go with the princess?" Axol asked.
"She seemed concerned about the events and made agree with Bowser to set up perimeter around the Toad Town and her castle." Mario responded.
"When were they arrive?" Axol asked.
"They are on their way at a time as we speak." Yoshi murmured. "It wouldn't be much longer."
"Bowser has started being a good guy instead of bad guy, right?" Ripley asked.
"Yeah, you really do not have to worry too much. Bowser is really soft-hearted Koopa." Charlie said.
"I thought in the video games, he still is." Ripley said.
"I know, it is starting to feel weird. And anyone doesn't accept the fact that he was the evil villain." Yoshi said.
"I guess we lend a hand to him at all times." Goku said.
"True. I have met former enemies of the Power Rangers, and some of them have lived. Ecliptor, Toxica, Jindrax, Zen-Aku, Kapri, Marah, Necrolai, Leelee, Itassis, Matoombo, Norg, Jarrod, Camille, Flit, and Rico." Venus replied.
"Wow. There were tons of villains that turned good. Hard enough to live themselves." Ripley replied.
"Most likely for them to redeem like my kind." Aggie pointed out.
"It gives me an idea to make a hotel with the former villains to earn their redemption." Charlie replied.
"A hotel? What in it for you?" Ripley asked.
"Charlie is deeply passionate to care for her kind, so she comes up with an idea to build a hotel to rehabilitate the demons since they are mistrusted with the humans." Aggie responded. "It has been pretty long time."
"My dad thinks it would be a silly idea to give the demons a chance to redeem. But he never gave the harsh words to me." Charlie murmured.
"Hard to believe that every folk never trusted the evil demons." Axol scoffed. "And you two are not exactly to do something horrible to the others."
"Tell me about it. It's hard to be complicated." Aggie groaned.
"And what about Taiyo?" Luigi asked.
"We can't tell him until he's fully recovered from the brutal fight." Mario said.
"What are you gonna do?" Aggie asked.
"I have to do some training. Somewhere far from here. The place I have been once part of my Keyblade training before becoming the Keyblade Master." Mario said.
"The Star Hill. The entrance to my birthplace where I was born right before Rosalina created my artificial android body." Geno commented.
"What's he talking about?" Ripley asked.
"The Star Haven is the mythical place where all the Seven Star Spirits inhabited in their realm until they were vanished to each world." Geno answered.
"Right, it has the gateway at the Star Hill to access the Star Haven. Star Hill has a special training ground for me to train my skills. I need to get ready until tomorrow for the battle competition." Mario murmured.
"And what about us?" Charlie asked.
"You go back to my house and suggest Taiyo get more training before the preparation. And tell him I'll be back in time before the day ends." Mario responded.
He brought out his Warp Star card and transformed it into a floating star-shaped vehicle.
"You're using the Warp Star?" Luigi asked.
"The little pink bud named Kirby. He says he has another transportation in his world." Mario answered. "I never rode it but I have to take a quick trip to the Star Hill."
Mario hopped on the Warp Star and looked at the others.
"Keep looking out for friends. Please be sure they are safe from harm's way, especially the Organization XIII around."
Mario flew away with his Warp Star and up to the sky.
"What are we gonna do now, guys?" Luigi asked.
"We gotta hang out here in Toad Town. In about after an hour, I resumed to do some training." Ripley answered.
"That's a good idea." Charlie said. "I wonder there's a lot of shops to buy."
"Charlie, we don't have the currency in this world." Aggie said.
"Don't worry." Luigi said, holding up the large pouch bag of gold coins. "I have three thousand gold coins so you can buy anything at the stores."
Charlie squealed in excitement, looking at the gold coins in the pouch and hugging him tightly, much to Luigi's discomfortable.
"Thank you so much for your generous, Luigi. You're the best."
"Any time in the world, princess." Luigi rasped as Charlie pulled away from him.
"How much do you get it from that?" Venus asked.
"I made another way to get more money. I can make the old, haunted mansion the tourist attraction, so I have a bunch of tourists and earn a lot of cash." Luigi responded.
"Wow!" Goku amazed. "You sound like a smart guy to come up with the money."
"Yeah! It is easier than the plumbing." Luigi said.
"Is that the spooky place where you fight against King Boo and his nastiest ghosts? Are you still scared of ghosts?" Aggie teased him, causing Luigi to fume in annoyance and intentionally enlarge his head in anime style.
"Shut up! I have fought the ghosts myself for a couple of years! Now keep that spooky stuff away from me!" Luigi yelled and turned his head away with a firm look.
Aggie giggled nervously, putting her hand on her head. "Geez. I can see that."
"Is he okay to fight the ghosts?" Goku confused.
"He is getting better than that. All he could is to suck up his gut and stand tall." Yoshi murmured.
"Luigi, never let fear make you vulnerable." Geno advised.
"You got the one right, Geno." Luigi muttered.
"G'day, guys!" The female voice has been heard.
They all turned around to see the female kangaroo and the jackal. Next to them and by which Luigi does recognize who is with them.
Daisy or commonly known as Diana. She is a princess of Sarasaland and Luigi's love interest. She usually wears a yellow, floor-length gown with white and orange accents. It has puffed sleeves with white, petal-shaped openings, a white, petal-shaped collar, orange panniers at the waist, and two rows of orange frills at the base: in some games, there's a white petticoat underneath. Her accessories include short, white gloves with petal-shaped openings, orange high heels, a gold crown with red jewels on the sides, flower-shaped earrings, and a flower-shaped brooch; her jewelry are coordinated with green gems and white, petal-shaped rims. She has blue eyes, bright brown shoulder-length flipped hair with parted bangs, and light fair skin.
Kayla was Zill's girlfriend and now-fiancee, and she is the kangaroo-themed Hellish Demon. She has blue eyes and yellowish-brown fur. Her ears were fairly large, and each has a darker heart patch with expanded black tips and an extra stripe added to the back of them. She features the dark brown stripes on her upper arms and above her toes which have become a darker shade of brown. She has light yellow gauntlet-looking sections of fur around her paws and wrist with a single yellow stripe above them. She wears her white off-shoulder top, light tan plaid miniskirt, black choker, and brown leggings. She also has a golden earring on her left ear.
Jack is Zill's best friend and scruffy-looking anthropomorphic-themed jackal Hellish Demon. He has patches of brown fur, black pupils, and white sclera. He has a wrist brace with the four-leaf clover and bandage wrap covered on his right knee with the safety pin.
"Diana?" Luigi wondered.
"Kayla? Jack?" Charlie asked. "What are you guys doing here?"
"We got ourselves ended up in the Sarasaland, so Princess Daisy brought us here." Jack explained.
"We're looking for Zill. We got our message from him. Where is he now?" Kayla asked.
"First, I have to ask Luigi." Diana sounded like she was mad and demanded him. "Where in the world have you been?"
Luigi becomes nervous as he stutters at her. "Well... It's... Mario."
"Oh no! I didn't ask for Mario was. I asked that you were, so you can answer that question for me. That be great." Diana scorned.
"What's with her?" Axol asked.
"Princess Daisy is upset about Luigi, saying she hasn't talked to him in a very long time. So sad to say." Jack answered.
"Um, how could I put this? Look, there's Taiyo." Luigi tried to reason with her.
"Taiyo? I heard his name before, but I have to leave it for later. Maybe you didn't hear my question. I wanted to know where you were." Diana replied.
Luigi gave a big sigh as he is still not getting the words to explain.
"Okay, we are on the search for the Star Spirits, and the Organization XIII was..."
Diana cuts him off, having enough of making excuses for him.
"No more excuses here! Now, you are making up the worst. I just want you to answer my question. Where the hell have you been?" Diana demanded.
"Yoshi and I were on the job recently to find King Mickey as well as Mario and Taiyo throughout the many worlds beyond." Luigi stated.
"Now, that wasn't hard, was it? That's all I wanted to know." Diana murmured.
"I am very sorry, Diana. Could you please forgive me?" Luigi asked apologetically.
Diana looked away in a huff, crossed her arms.
"Hey, come on!" Goku exclaimed. "Don't be grumpy pants. You know better than reasons."
Diana scoffed, turning her head up.
"Daisy. Please." Charlie walked over to her. "I know Luigi may not have a lot of time to spend with you. Can you at least give him a chance?"
Diana sighed, looking towards Luigi, and turned her head back again.
"Is she always like that?" Venus asked.
"No, it's only once. She has an issue in relationship with him." Kayla said.
"We felt sorry about this. Not even with the talking." Jack murmured.
Charlie perked up her shoulders and pointed out in clarification.
"I know just the thing with musical number!" Charlie said.
Aggie groaned, placing her hands on her face. "Oh please."
"You mean you can sing?" Axol confused. "How does it help to solve this problem?"
"You'll see, Axol." Ripley replied. "Charlie has the great musical talent."
Charlie comes between Luigi and Diana before she starts singing.

But the song hadn't quite convinced Diana, so the princess still fumed but softened her expressions as Luigi glanced at her with a guilty look.
Ripley really enjoyed Charlie's song, danced himself a little, and Yoshi, Kayla, Jack, and Venus joined him. Axol, Aggie, and Goku are watching them with blank and somewhat uneasy expressions.
Charlie has pushed Luigi closer to Diana and puts their hands together.
He's sorry, Daisy.
I know he hasn't spoken to you in a long while
Diana, could you please be nice to him?
You have the guts that tell you what to do
He may be just a plumber, but what true love should cherish more.
Now rejoice, Daisy
Luigi and Daisy were only looking at each other at the moment before the latter smiled in approval as they both danced in a spinning style.
Ripley took Charlie's hands, performed the dance, and he dipped her.
"Would you look at that? I have watched the singing ponies from children's tv show to make the characters better to solve all kinds of problems." Venus awed.
"Okay. I can forgive you." Diana gleamed as she hugged the green plumber.
"Hooray!" Luigi cheered.
"That was...very...entertained!" Goku chuckled.
"I know. She inherited from her father." Yoshi responded.
"Always singing to keep herself happy." Geno commented.
Kayla sniffed as she shed the tears from her eyes. "It is... pretty wonderful."
A purple claw appeared in front of her with a tissue.
"Have a tissue. Wipe your tears." Zill spoke.
"Thanks." Kayla said, grabbing it and blowing her nose.
"Zillian!" Jack exclaimed. "Oh my gosh!"
Kayla gasped in dumbfound and turned her head at Zill. "Zill?"
Zillian smirked as he stood next to her.
"Zill!" Kayla said, hugging him tightly.
"I'm very glad you guys have come all the way here." Zill responded.
"Sorry about our late ticket. We just made it here." Jack replied and asked. "And where are Vanexa and Spam?"
"They are hanging out with our companions in the Toad Town." Yoshi murmured.
"Let's head back to Mario's house." Luigi said.
Zill has got something in his other hand behind his back.
"I have a special offer for you." Zill murmured, showing a Shimmering Bellflower to Kayla.
Kayla was awed to see the Star Bellflower. "Is that a Shimmering Bellflower? The one you gave it to me on our first date."
"Yeah, it has been over centuries of our anniversary. I never forget planning a date." Zill replied with a blush.
Kayla took the Shimmering Bellflower from him and sniffed it, adoring the sweet scent.
"It smells just the same, sweetie." Kayla said as she grabbed Zillian and pulled him for a kiss.
"Go get him, tiger!" Charlie cheered.
"Get a lovey room, dude." Axol grunted in response.
Zill has accepted this as he caressed the back of Kayla's head.
Luigi, Yoshi, Diana, Aggie, Ripley, Jack, and Venus smiled at the couple while Goku turned confused about this as the kangaroo pulled away from her boyfriend.
"Wow, it is really nice when she put a mouth on his. That's so weird." Goku said.
Jack turned to the monkey with a puzzled look while Yoshi gave a surprised look.
"Who is that monkey?" Jack puzzled.
"This is Votus. The guy you know who saved the Pentagram City." Zill responded.
"Oh! I don't believe it!" Kayla gasped.
"Yeah, I know. I did tell you once about this guy." Zill replied.
"Need I remind you that Goku didn't know the term kissing." Geno suggested.
"Goku?" Vanexa asked.
"We tell you later." Geno said.
"Goku. You seriously never know about kissing?" Yoshi asked.
Goku grew puzzled a bit before replying to the green dinosaur. "No, of course not. Why?"
Aggie made the personal explanation to him for Yoshi.
"Well, imagine yourself, you find a pretty girlfriend before eventually getting married and have some children in your future." Aggie explained.
Goku responded to him while blinking his eyes a couple of times. "Yeah, duh. And what has to do with kissing?"
Aggie grew very surprised before refusing to say more facts to him.
"You... Oh, no way. I am not talking more about privacy." Aggie groaned as she turned away from Goku.
"No, I'm curious to know. Tell me! Is that like something people do?" Goku asked, gesturing to Zill and Kayla who were laughing in response.
Venus sighed as she facepalmed herself. "Why are we bothered by his insensitive questions?"
"We go check on Taiyo to see how he's holding up." Axol replied.
"And for me, I can take around Toad Town for exploring. See you later." Geno replied, walking off.
At the outside of Mario's house, the portal appeared with Zelda, Impa, Groose, and Lana.
"We're here!" Lana exclaimed. "And we are out nearby Mario Brothers' house!"
"Rosalina has called us, and we came to see the special guests who were recently arrived at a time before we did." Zelda replied.
"Let's head to the castle." Impa responded.
Zelda, Impa, and Lana are about to venture towards the path on their way to Peach's castle. But Groose cannot come with the girls, so he has a look around the house.
"I guess I should go to see inside of spectacular place." Groose grinned.
Impa responded to him while walking with them. "Fine. Have yourself to take a nap."
Groose felt eager before entering Mario Brothers' house.
(Mario Brothers' House)
Groose opened the front door, looking for the Mario Brothers and friends, so he went to the kitchen and explored his surroundings.
"Wow. This is a really nice kitchen. I wonder where those foods have kept." Groose replied.
He noticed a fridge near the stove and walked right to it as he opened its door and saw something caught his eye.
"Oooooohhhh!" Groose uttered, grabbing the bad and unhealthy milk bottle from the fridge shelf. "Lon Lon Milk!"
Luigi, Yoshi, Diana, Goku, Venus, Charlie, Ripley, Aggie, Zill, Kayla, Jack, Spam, Vanexa, and Axol arrived just in time. Upon their way to the living room, they saw Groose was about to drink the milk and urged Luigi in worry.
"Wait a minute, Groose! Don't you dare drink that! It's been in the fridge for years!" Luigi warned.
"You never had a drink since you left?" Diana confused.
"Sorry. I should have drunk it for my breakfast." Luigi said.
"Wow. You got me there." Ripley commented. "Who is he?"
"Groose. He was supporting the Hyrule Royal Guards." Yoshi answered.
However, Groose didn't believe him that the milk was overdue.
"Oh. But Lon Lon Milk never goes bad." Groose grinned.
"Don't do it!" Aggie urged. "Put it away!"
"Groose, no!" Luigi shouted.
"Oh no. He's about to die." Axol deadpanned.
Groose took off the bottle cap and drank all of the bad milk, sighing in contentment. But suddenly, he felt his tummy discomfort before the pain starts.
"Ugh?! Wait! That is not the Lon Lon Milk?!" Groose was shocked as he yelped in agony and held onto his stomach.
"Look likes he needs medical attention." Charlie murmured.
"Oh boy! Let's get you some help." Luigi sighed.
"Come on, let's take him to the room." Venus replied
Luigi and Venus held Groose over their shoulders to walk him out of the kitchen as the latter was still yelping.
"Hey, Zill! Help me out, you lazy bum!" Luigi called out to Zill. "I need you to open the door for us."
"Right!" Zill said.
(Mario Brothers' House - Mario and Luigi's Bedroom)
Luigi and Zillian helped Groose lie down on Mario's bed next to Taiyo. Taiyo woke up and noticed Groose on the same bed.
"There. This should make him comfortable." Zill said.
"Well, it's good to see you again, Groose. But I got to leave. Keep well, Groose." Taiyo replied, getting off the bed to leave Groose to rest.
The others walked to the bedroom as Yoshi walked up to Taiyo.
"How are you feeling?" Yoshi asked.
"I'm all good. Man, I must have overslept this morning and skipped over the breakfast time." Taiyo said before asking them. "By the way, what going here?"
"Groose drinks milk that Mario bought from the supermarket at Toad Town. And now it is already expired." Luigi replied.
"I didn't know he was about to steal something in the fridge." Taiyo said.
"Well, it was because Mario never finishes the milk before it is overdue! And neither is Yoshi!" Luigi scolded.
"Hey! I never gonna finish it. You are supposed to drink it all before we go out to find Mario on a very important mission!" Yoshi retorted.
"You do realize that doofus drink it, he would die for sure." Luigi argued.
"Nah, that's okay. He's Hylian. I am sure he can tough it out more than normal human beings." Yoshi assured.
"And he is gonna miss the whole fighting competition tomorrow the rest of a day." Goku mentioned.
"Speaking of tomorrow, where Mario is?" Taiyo asked.
"Mario is off to do his training." Venus answered. "He said he will come back until the day is over."
"And looks like Mario is cutting down on pasta to maintain his healthy diet." Yoshi responded.
Diana spoke to him. "Taiyo, it is privilege to meet you. Luigi just told me about you and your adventure in traveling in the worlds."
"And you're Princess Daisy, I heard from Luigi. He wrote a letter to you." Taiyo murmured.
"Oh, did he? I never respond to the letter until one of my servants brought it to me." Diana replied.
"Do you mind telling us where are you since you didn't respond to Luigi?" Yoshi asked.
"I'm doing the higher duties in my castle. It isn't easy to keep doing my royal job as the princess." Diana explained.
"Um, were the princesses doing like this?" Ripley asked.
"Unlike me, I can hang out my demon gang and it is a way beyond my duties as the Princess of Hell." Charlie replied.
"Hm. Interesting." Ripley complimented.
"It's nice of you to enjoy in a house. I am Kayla." Kayla replied, holding out her hand.
"Pleasure." Taiyo shook it and turned to Jack. "And you are."
"My friends called me Jack." Jack smiled.
"They are my friends from Helluva High School in about centuries." Zillian replied.
"How long do you guys graduate?" Diana asked.
"Let's say we started from eighth grade to thirteenth grade." Spam answered.
"Thirteenth grade?!" Luigi, Yoshi, Venus, Goku, Taiyo, Diana and Axol surprised in unison.
"I know. It is not completely different from other human high schools. The Helluva High School is accelerating the education levels. We barely passed the exams." Charlie spoke shyly.
"And I didn't finish my exam, I still passed the entrance exam to L.E.D." Zill mentioned.
"L.E.D.?" Venus asked.
"It stands for Law Enforcement Demons, the demon's authority organization." Jack answered.
"We are the third-year students. Princess of Hell and her gang were ahead of us as the first-year students." Vanexa explained.
"I could have known it is the same education." Luigi murmured.
"Yep. We are playing our music; it was our favorable subject." Spam smiled.
"Really?" Taiyo asked.
"We sold many hits in our play to everybody." Kayla said, placing her hands on Zill's. "Zill and I are really close to being the romantic partners."
"Sound sweet." Venus cooed as Aggie grunted in disgust, turning away.
"Anyways, I got to do my training. Tomorrow is ahead." Taiyo replied. "I need to meditate first."
"Taiyo. We want to spend time with your friends. We want to get to know you." Charlie murmured.
"Look, I need to more time for my training. Don't get in my way." Taiyo spoke.
He walked past them and left, puzzling Ripley, Charlie, Aggie, Venus, Goku, and Axol.
"What's with him?" Axol asked.
"Never mind him. He needs to do for the Mushroom Melee Battle." Luigi said.
"Oh, I know why." Jack replied.
"Me too." Zill said.
"Didn't we supposed to tell him about the Dark Star?" Yoshi asked.
"Not yet. We should leave him until he is done with meditation." Luigi answered.
"Oh, well." Charlie sighed. "Guess we tour ourselves without him."
"We can stay here with you guys. Just in case of Taiyo finished his mental training." Zill said.
"If they stay, I stay here too." Axol added.
"All right. We'll come back in less than two hours." Aggie murmured.
"See ya guys later!" Ripley replied.
Charlie, Ripley, and Aggie began to leave the house.
(Toad Town)
Millie pressed her face against the window with sparkling eyes, letting out her squee. She sees all kinds of jewelry including rings, necklaces, bracelets, etc.
"I wanna buy them all!" Millie said.
"Honey, we don't have how much money to bought them from other stores." Tybalt replied.
"Are you kidding?" Millie grabbed her imp boyfriend and leaned in to press against her face to him. "We can go to someplace wherever we want!"
Charlie, Aggie, and Ripley came over to them.
"I have the pouch of three thousand gold coins." Ripley replied, drawing the attention of the Demon Gang from a few meters away.
Dexter, Crymini, Niffty, Husk, Tybalt, and Millie joined in.
"Three thousand gold coins?!" Niffty squirmed.
"Will be enough to buy everything?" Husk asked.
"Who cares? I love to get all of the stickers for my guitar case." Crymini replied.
"And I need to buy a lot of flasks and chemicals." Dexter added.
"Alright, I am dividing two hundred coins each of you." Ripley said. "Don't spend too much on the shops."
He passed it on to the two imps, Dexter, Niffty, Crymini, and Husk.
"We remember." Tybalt said. "Me and Millie are going to get some clothes."
"Oh, I loved to try on the clothes." Millie replied.
"We will come with you." Aggie said.
"I appreciated your offer. We go over there." Ripley said.
"I'm something of being fashionable myself, taken after from my mom. She is the most model in Pentagram City." Charlie responded.
"Less talking, more time to shop." Aggie sighed.
(Toad Boutique - Store)
Millie examined the black dresses that hung on the clothesline, and Tybalt looked at the suits.
"I wonder what sort of suits I wear." Tybalt said.
(Toad Boutique - Fitting Room)
In one of the fitting rooms that has the sitting bench and the black curtain with the mirror.
Charlie took the three dresses before heading to the fitting room and closing the curtains behind them. Ripley is sitting on the dressing bench, and Aggie is standing against the wall, tapping the finger on her left arm patiently.
Charlie peeked out her head of the curtain. "Ripley. Come over here. I want you have a look of my frill dress."
Ripley sat up and walked over to the curtains, seeing her dressed in a light green frill dress and she has the hair clip on the left side of her hair.
"Isn't this fabulous?" Charlie asked, striking her pose and gazing at her reflection in the mirror.
"Nice, very precise." Ripley smirked. "Let's see if you try with these."
The Princess of Hell has donned a leather tan jacket with multicolored accents paired with red trousers, red and black sneakers, and a light red vintage t-shirt with the cute Super Stars.
"I am so casual style right now!" Charlie said, putting her hands on her hips and taking a quick selfie herself.
And finally, she puts on her dark yellow long-sleeve top, cork sandal heels, and denim shorts, and as she walked out of the curtains and swayed her hips.
"Am I look stunning?" Charlie asked, blowing an air kiss to her human zing.
"Mm-hmm. You are looking fine, Charlie." Ripley said, giving a smooch on her hand and turning to Aggie. "How about you?"
"I am good. Charlie has already bought more clothes for me. I think it was enough for me to wear them." Aggie responded.
Sean and Yixato came through the door, though they are still blushing.
"Sean, Yixato? What are you two doing here?" Ripley asked.
"We came into the same store as you're here. Blanca and Verta weren't interested in buying the dresses. They have a simple way to change their clothes." Yixato answered.
"Is anything bothered you?" Aggie asked.
"No, no! It's not that. They are much more pretty in their clothes." Sean murmured.
"And why are you two blushing?" Charlie asked.
Blanca and Verta soon came to the door, revealing their new modern clothes.
The white snake demoness has dressed in a white blouse dress with a small waist belt and tied red loop, white square heel shoes, and a silver snake necklace. She is even carrying a small red handbag.
A green snake demoness is wearing her sheer fabric of dark cyan buttonless shirt tied in a knot underneath the black tube top, tight denim pants, and black heels.
"Oh. I see what you mean." Charlie dumbfounded.
"Boys. Go easy with the Chinese girls." Ripley teased.
"Stop it." Yixato slapped him in the shoulder playfully.
"What do you think, Sean Xu?" Blanca posed herself with hands on her hips and pulled back her right leg up.
"It's not bad. You look more beautiful now." Sean admired.
Blanca blushed with a giggle. "This would be a chance to spend time with you."
"If I was the same person as Xu Xuan or Xu Xian, I wished we can be together." Sean said.
"And I prefer Verta is very hot and strong capable woman I ever encountered in my entire life. Because she chose the way I'm fighting for her in the war where she stood next to me, putting her hands around my body with no heart. But I do have the feelings with great passion." Yixato said, started to feel eased. "Ah, it feels good."
"So are you, Yi." Verta flirted him, caressing him in the chin with her finger.
"Um, dude." Ripley uttered, upon looking at Verta is massaging on Yixato's back. "She's massaging you while you're talking."
Yixato looked back at Verta who quickly pulled her hands off him and looked away in embarrassing. "What am I doing?"
"Sister, you do need to control yourself." Blanca shakes her head in amusement. "Be positive with your emotions."
"Ha! You sly dog!" Millie chuckled, making Yixato perplexed.
"What? I was just talking casually! There's nothing..." Yixato protested, letting out a groan.
"She often gets carried away if you talked a lot." Ripley replied.
"It's totally out of range." Charlie commented.
"Weren't you two dressed in normal modern clothes for the first time?" Aggie asked.
"We haven't dressed the way like this before, not even we lived in about thousands of years." Blanca replied.
"And it was not a ridiculous idea, according to our mother. It suits us well." Verta confirmed.
"We may not have more money to buy a lot. But we can grab the foods ourselves." Sean said.
"I have the ton of gold coins." Ripley replied. "Given by Luigi. And you?"
"Rosalina has given us five thousand gold coins. She is pretty rich." Yixato responded with a satisfied smirk.
"What?!" Ripley shouted at the top of his lungs, rushing to the Keyblade wielder. "Don't tell me that woman given you more coins than Luigi?!
"Yep. She is really into buying the hobbies." Yixato answered.
"Was your demon family wealthy?" Ripley asked.
"My mom and dad are the famed demon rulers." Charlie said cheekily.
Tybalt and Millie entered the fitting room, holding their selected clothes.
"Hey, guys. Is this one unoccupied?" Tybalt asked.
"Charlie has finished fitting her clothes." Aggie murmured.
"Perfect!" Tybalt said.
"Should we have to wait?" Verta sighed.
"It won't take longer than waiting, sweetie. We'll be on time." Millie beamed.
"It just depends on that might take a while from now." Sean responded.
(Toad Town)
Chopsuey and Trug were at the fountain water, waiting for the others. He took out the communication device and gave a call to his date named Rouge the Bat as it displayed the facecam.
"Hey there, lover boy. I am a little busy with the secret mission with Shadow. He never gets tired of finding Dr. Eggman. What's the last time you saw me?" Rouge said.
"On the planet of Turo where you accidentally tripped into the transportal machine from your homeworld and met me in the bar. We are actually comparing the bounty hunters." Chopsuey replied.
"I have only snatched the jewels and golds, Chopsuey. You collected the criminal bounties which added to your high score points." Rouge uttered.
"Hey, it's been a long while. I quit being the bounty hunter, so I joined Yixato and his crew. Besides, he used my spacecraft to travel across the worlds." Chopsuey replied.
"Oh, really? You give me an impression of adventurous, sugar." Rouge said, making the smooch sound. "And here's a kiss of compliment."
"I give you compliment too, darling." Chopsuey flirted.
Zidane walked over to Chopsuey and overheard the chat with someone.
"Who are you talking, Chopsuey?" Zidane asked.
Chopsuey glared back at him. "Mind your own business, fancy pants."
"I was curious. There's nothing wrong with me." Zidane said.
"It's really not big deal, man." Chopsuey replied, hiding his communication device behind his back.
"If it is no big deal, then why won't you let me see who it is?" Zidane asked, snatching the communication device from Chopsuey.
"Hey!" Chopsuey annoyed.
"Ah, Trug." Trug groaned.
"Rouge?" Zidane was confused as he showed her to the alien. "You're dating the bat thief?"
"Is this your friend?" Rouge asked.
"Um, sort of. He is the thief too, so goodbye now." Chopsuey quickly turned the device off and took it back.
"Unbelievable. You have a thing with the bat lady." Zidane said.
"Oh yeah. I have a time-off date with her. And you heard about Rouge?" Chopsuey asked.
"She takes a visit in my place along with Steve Eggman long time. Rouge and I don't get along so well. I have a rival in my life." Zidane said.
"Damn. What did she do to you?" Chopsuey asked.
"I am Trug." Trug said.
"Rouge sneaked to my private closet, stealing the stuff I stole from people. She's kinda more sneaky than I was." Zidane murmured.
"But she is fine to me." Chopsuey replied, unaware of Zidane's serious expression.
"Whatever you do, keep your things away from Rouge." Zidane said.
"Definitely. Just a piece of cake." Chopsuey said.
"I am Trug." Trug muttered.
(Outside of Mario Brothers' House)
Taiyo is meditating as he slowly breathed in the deep calm and soothed his emotions. It takes several minutes to process his training. The presence of a godly aura enveloped all of him. Its bright colors are golden yellow and red which caught Yoshi's attention and saw right through the window at Taiyo.
The voice of Hou Yi called to him in his mind. "You have almost reached your enlightenment, Taiyo. Find the peace yourself. Do not let everything linger in your mind. Soon as part of my powers flowed within you, it can lead you to the victory."
Taiyo opened his eyes, and he stood to his feet from the grass. He looked down at his hands, a little blur of divine aura displayed them before fading out.
Luigi, Yoshi, Diana, Venus, Goku, Zill, Kayla, Jack, Spam, Vanexa, and Axol have got out of the house. They are amazed at what Taiyo has shown the phenomenal aura.
"Um, why are you looking at me? You're making me weird." Taiyo spoke.
"Man! Yoshi told us that you were harnessed the power of the god." Goku said.
"Unbelievable." Venus gasped.
"Could it be the sign from the Heaven?" Spam asked.
"Spam, leave it out of this." Vanexa grunted.
"I saw your aura surrounding your body. You were concentrating on something." Yoshi replied.
"Yoshi's right. What was that about?" Luigi asked.
"I am able to reach my enlightenment; it is part of my training. If I discover the true power of Hou Yi dwells inside of me, I can get stronger to defeat Ganon and his followers." Taiyo answered.
"Were you still have time on training?" Kayla asked.
"I just need to take more time but I was almost completed my training." Taiyo said.
"Taiyo. Tomorrow is the fighting contest. One of the competitors win in the final round and get the grand prize. I volunteered myself in the match." Zillian replied.
"And I have to finish my training. All I want is the sparring partner and Mario is out there training himself." Taiyo uttered.
Axol stepped out from the group, giving the response to the Keyblade wielder.
"I accept this. Same with me." Axol replied.
"Okay, I'll take another step in my training with you, Axol." Taiyo said.
"Then let's do it." Axol smirked, bringing out his Powerwrench.
Taiyo and Axol are clashing against their weapons each other on the field. Luigi and others were watching them fight in the duel.
"Go for the counterattack!" Luigi called out to him.
"We know you can fight like the real fighter." Diana said.
"Keep the guts straight!" Zill yelled.
Taiyo tried to push against Axol's Powerwrench with all of his might, but the latter headbutted him, leaving him dazed, and took a swing at his face. Taiyo took a fall on the grass and Axol tried to slam him, but the former rolled away to dodge it.
"So close!" Yoshi sighed.
Taiyo casts the Firaga spell to shoot Axol, but the axolotl mutant dived down from the large fireball. Taiyo then brought the Thundaga and shocked him, landing a direct hit from another spell.
Axol coughed a bit, standing up without a struggle. He charged at him, swinging his Powerwrench, but Taiyo blocked it and kneed onto his face before striking his chest with a right downward slash. He followed up the upper left slash, thrusting a straight slash, right curved slash, and striking down his Warrior's Key over his opponent's head. Axol was staggered away from getting a couple of hits and plunged his Powerwrench on the ground to skid a halt.
Axol shook his head, gripping the handle of his Powerwrench as it glowed with bright red, and he pressed the motorcycle-like gripping gear. His skin becomes brighter with the pale red color same as his weapon.
"What's he doing?" Taiyo asked.
"Is he about to make his powerful move?" Kayla wondered.
"I think it is." Jack said.
Arnold flew down to the ground with his jet boots, next to the group.
"Arnold? You got here in time to watch these guys fighting?" Diana asked.
"Yes. I should inform each of you about his Axol's Powerwrench. The Powerwrench is a weapon designed to combat the enemies in any battle both offensive and defensive. His weapon has not possessed the power of magic, it contained the energy source called Fusion Power. When Axol is critically injured, he goes into the Limit Break mode and is infused with the fusion energy." Arnold stated.
"Fascinating." Spam murmured.
"A mutant controlled by the fusion energy, that's an interesting fact." Venus said.
"She's right, it is different than Limit Trance." Luigi remarked.
Axol swiftly sped in the hastened blur and caught Taiyo off guard, slamming his powered-up Powerwrench onto his stomach. Taiyo flew off and crashed over the grassy land roughly.
"Ooh, that scratches him." Yoshi muttered.
Taiyo groaned in utmost agony, clutched his stomach, and stood up himself.
"God, that hurts!" Taiyo grunted before casting himself with Curaga to heal his wounds.
"I do hear about the Keyblades and capabilities. Able to control the magic. Good thing, I am good at carrying my wrench." Axol said.
Taiyo then activated one of the Golden Goddesses, Naryu's Wisdom. Mystical water emerged around him; the light blue sparkles appeared on his outfit.
"What is that?" Vanexa asked.
"Naryu's Wisdom, one of the Hyrule's goddesses. He can possess three symbols of the Golden Goddesses, power, wisdom, and courage." Luigi explained.
"You amazed me, Taiyo. Like we have two different forces of nature. The fusion and magic. Let's see who is the victor in the sparring match." Axol uttered.
"We'll see." Taiyo smirked.
Axol rushed over at Taiyo, revved on the motorcycle handgrip, and the Keyblade wielder managed to Reflega, generating a strong magical barrier as it shielded from the Powerwrench and bounced its owner back with the loud banging noise, knocking Axol away.
Axol landed on his feet when he was in mid-air. "What the? Where did that come from? I didn't see it."
"My Naryu's Wisdom can make my magic spells ten times faster than the normal speed. You should keep your eyes straight." Taiyo said.
"Alright, in that case, I gotta be quick enough to beat you." Axol said.
Taiyo floated in mid-air, floating towards Axol who readies his defensive stance when the former shoots the magic orbs at the latter, and axolotl mutant spun his Powerwrench to deflect every shot at a faster pace.
"Zero Graviga!" Taiyo incanted, sent the mutant warrior up in the air.
Taiyo raised his Keyblade to conjure the large ice pillar that froze Axol's whole body, leaving his head out.
"You see that? Axol has outsmarted by his strategy tricks." Spam said.
"Like the first trick in the book." Yoshi replied.
Axol tried to pull himself out from the frozen ice but he couldn't move his body. Taiyo hovered higher and twirled around himself to form the tornado drill, straight forward at Axol, and landed him with a powerful impact. He crashed him down as the dusty cloud emitted.
"Oh yes!" Luigi cheered. "He got him!"
Axol struggles with his body with his one knee on the ground and looked up at Taiyo. Taiyo focused his last attack before summoning the Meteor and the cluster of meteor showers rained down onto him.
"You won't finish me off yet!" Axol grunted.
He held his Powerwrench above him, still harnessing the fusion power and spinning it rapidly to smash all of the small asteroids. Taiyo loses his Wisdom Form as he dives toward Axol and blasts the Triple Firaga to strike him three times.
Axol was laying his back flat on the ground, looking beaten as Taiyo landed on his feet in front of him.
"Oh yeah! He knocked him down and he won!" Goku cheered.
"Taiyo is getting stronger than I expected." Arnold murmured.
"He gave Axol the hard time of winning." Luigi said.
"He totally won!" Spam hollered.
"Whoo! I am getting tired already. It's good for my sport actually." Taiyo murmured as he casts Curaga to heal the axolotl mutant.
Axol groaned and clutched his neck with a slight crack in the bone.
"Oh man, you're a tough one with rough moves." Axol admitted, patting Taiyo's left shoulder gently. "It's good for us getting along."
"Yeah, we probably go take the break. I overheard about the fusion power. Who designed your weapon?" Taiyo asked.
"An old acquaintance of mine, Professor Honeycutt. He developed the same fusion source as my Powerwrench." Axol said.
Arnold walked over to Axol after he heard the name of someone he knew. "Did you mention Honeycutt?"
"You know him too?" Axol asked.
"Who was Professor Honeycutt?" Kayla asked.
"Professor Honeycutt is the old supporter of the Utroms. I read his files about his recent incident. He was attacked by another group of aliens called themselves the Triceratons after refusing to make the weapons for them, though he cannot reveal his dark past." Arnold said.
"Professor can't explained to me further. I wish there would be the answers." Axol replied.
"Utroms and Triceratons... Why are you two saying about them?" Taiyo asked.
"These triceratops aliens originated from Dimension X, same with the Kraang and Utroms. They are the bitter enemies of the Kraang faction, raged in the war for millennia. The Triceratons have almost been wiped out by the powerful weapon in the 10th Dimension. But only the single fleet has fleed from their home planet destroyed, vowing their vengeance."
"Two aliens fought each other in Dimension X. Wow, there are a lot of aliens in the 10th Dimension. I really wanted to see what's out there." Jack said.
"Sure, you want to see, Jack." Zill replied.
"Oh my gosh. It must have been rough for the guys trying to kill each other. Can't they at least settle down in peace?" Goku murmured.
"No, the Triceraton emperor made his decision. It won't change the ways they are." Arnold confirmed. "It is too much interaction."
"He's right. Less talking, more time. Let's take the bite for lunch." Yoshi spoke.
"Sounds good." Venus nodded.
(Star Hill)
The Star Hill is the mystical hill where the visitors and habitants make their wishes come true. It has the grass made out of glittery little stars, daisies, and fireflies' lights and the big chunks of light cyan crystalline stars everywhere on the hill.
Mario cuts the crystal star into multiple pieces with his Ignition Flower. He kept swinging his Keyblade at a quick pace in every direction such as upper right slash, gliding downward slash, striking thrust, horizontal strike, left vertical slash, and slamming aerial attack.
He sets his Ignition Flower on the ground and pulled back his arms towards the sides of his body. Mario let out a fierce roar, the fiery red aura bursts around him as he held out his hands to charge the fireball in each hand and grew into the size of a basketball.
"Oh boy, I was training myself for the past 11 years, and I waited for this moment." Mario responded smugly.
He controlled the fireballs as he moved back slowly, giving him to get more space.
"I have finally mastered my Twin Pyro Shot. Let's give it a shot. Torpedo number one away!" Mario said, lifting his right arm as one of the fireballs shot up into the air.
Mario smiled at the success of his new technique as he tried it one more time. "Number two away!"
The second pyro orb goes up to the sky as Mario has brought his arms down as the two fireballs have descended right above the ground.
"Now I can move them freely." Mario said, twirling his hands to move the fireballs around.
Mario laid down on the grass, taking a deep breath. He sees the stars shining in the dark sky, remembering the day he first met Mickey before his Mark of Mastery.
(Flashback - Mysterious Tower: Sorcerer's Loft)
Rosalina has brought Mario to Master Yen Sid who politely greeted him.
"It is my deepest gratitude to see you, Mario. We have our first-time encounter." Yen Sid humbled.
"It is so great to see you, Master Yen Sid. Fusoya has already told you for my exam to become the Keyblade Master." Mario said.
Yen Sid nodded with a proud look, placing his hands together.
"Mario has done the amazing things including his training. He is capable of utilizing the power of fire to create his own techniques." Rosalina responded.
"Indeed. He strengthened his potential so far. And I believe I can start to put you in the Mark of Mastery." Master Yen Sid said.
"Oh yes!" Mario cheered.
Master Yen Sid raised his hand to him. "But for one moment, I have an apprentice of my own. He is a little late upon your arrival."
Mickey suddenly appeared above the ceiling as he fell to the floor, and the Star Shard dropped out of his hands. Rosalina picked it up and giggled slightly.
"Mickey. Still have trouble with the Star Shard?" Rosalina asked.
Mickey groaned as he jolted up from the floor, stretching his back with his arms.
"Gosh! I don't think I ever managed it coming all the way here as possible." Mickey replied as he turned to Mario. "Who are you? Did Rosalina bring you here?"
"Yes, she did. I'm Mario, doing in the Mark of Mastery." Mario replied.
"Oh my gosh! Mario! The first-ever hero from the Mushroom Kingdom and becoming the Keyblade wielder. We are both the ones who wielded the Keyblades, and we have the same teachers." Mickey replied.
"And you must be King Mickey, your royal majesty." Mario smiled.
"Thanks, but please, I didn't need you to address me. Call my name anytime." Mickey said.
"Well, we are on the same boat before we begin our test." Mario said, glancing over to Yen Sid.
"You two have indeed exceed your abilities and great powers. In time, the great disturbance has already troubled in the vast worlds. Seek the answers by travelling the worlds, fight the darkness, let it shine with a light. I therefore to begin the exam for both of you and Rosalina and myself can give you the tasks each of you." Yen Sid explained.
Rosalina spoke to Mario with a gentle firm tone. "Mario, my truest pupil. I am giving you the important task of finding the pieces of the Grand Star which there are five of which have been scouted across the different dimensions. Will you accept your task?"
"Oh yes. I am capable of finding the other Power Stars on the way to rescue Peach. But I do say it was very hard to find them." Mario murmured.
"The Grand Star is important vital resource to my home." Rosalina said. "Take more responsibility for yourself."
"I know. I will not fail my exam. I won't let you down or Mickey." Mario replied.
"Nice words, Mario. You don't want to get fussy." Mickey chuckled.
"Mickey. My sole apprentice, go out on your own to travel the worlds with the use of my Star Shard. However, you still can't control the power of an object, nor you do not understand. Now please, heed my guidance." Yen Sid announced.
Mickey bows his head to his master. "There won't be any problem, I assure you."
Rosalina walked over to the toon king and handed the Star Shard. "Please take care of it."
"You know me well, Rosalina. Tell Minnie I say hi." Mickey spoke as he rushed out of the loft.
Yen Sid sighed deeply.
"He couldn't even cure of impulsiveness. I am at least concern of his journey may not be easy."
"Say no more, Yen Sid. Mickey is relied on his overconfident skills. I am sure he will pass his exam." Rosalina said.
"I hope he can make it." Mario grinned and tipped his red cap. "He is a good fella of mine and funny."
(Present Time)
Mario closed his eyes and snuggled against the grass. He is still thinking about Mickey has gone after Organization XIII along with Fusoya.
"Comfy here?"
Mario stood up his back and turned to a voice that belonged to the person who was another Xian.
"Erlang Shen?"
Erlang Shen is one of the strongest Xian warriors, believed to be the pure god and he is the Jade Emperor's nephew. He has short black ponytail hair slicked back. His eyes were green. He wore his full plated golden armor with the dog that opened its mouth and coated with the clouds, his helmet embedded with the three peaks of the phoenixes, boots were lined with cloth of gold; dragons coiled around his socks, jade belt around his waist and decorated with the eight jewels. He carries his bow around his waist that curved like the moon. He has his Dharma-Third Truth Eye on his forehead.
"Well, it isn't the famous hero written down from history? Mario. I did notice you take a rest after your pre-vigorous training." Erlang Shen humbled with a grin and sat down next to him.
"I always get surprised by someone when I was ready to train myself on many occasions." Mario replied.
"Is that a reason you trained in the very same place where you started before the path of the Keyblade Master?" Erlang Shen asked.
"Mickey and I attend in the same Mark of Mastery exam; we are both friends during the tasks. He thinks he is about to fail but he proved himself worthy of the title of Keyblade Master." Mario murmured.
"Well, it sounds like I looked forward to challenge you in the ring." Erlang Shen remarked.
"Seriously?! Did you ask yourself to participate in the battle frontier?" Mario asked.
"I only ask Rosalina to put me in the match. In fact, I heard the other participants have joined in as well. I wonder when some of them have arrived tomorrow." Erlang Shen answered.
Mario chuckled at him. "The challenge is up ahead but it can wait."
"I'll be off right now." Erlang Shen murmured, getting up from the ground. "And I will see you tomorrow."
"Thank you for the chat." Mario said.
Erlang Shen shifted his god energy before going up to the sky in flight shared similar to the Heaven Gateway.
(Toad Town – Mushroom Cafe)
The Mushroom Café consisted of booths, a long red and white counter with the mushroom heads, hanging lamps, and wooden tiles for the floor.
Goku munched down on a couple of toasted sandwiches with crispy chickens as the crumbs stained his mouth, while on the other side of the same table as Yixato ate the burgers with the whole wheat buns and drank cold iced coffee.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Don't pace up the foods, you two get easily choked." Kayla said.
"Try take it slow, boys." Zill said.
On the next booth, Arnold was sitting between Trug and Sean, shaking his head slightly without a reply.
"They're sure eating a lot of foods. Most unusual." Sean commented, eating one of the fries on the plate.
"I am Trug." Trug confirmed.
"You sure you were, tree." Arnold said.
Many of the diners and others in the group gave their unpleasant looks at Goku and Yixato. Verta scoffed at the boys from the left corner with Blanca, Dexter, Niffty, Zidane, and Chopsuey.
"I cannot imagine these two were totally on the amount of the full plate." Chopsuey replied.
"Hellish Demons preserved some of the voracious nature, taking more meals for themselves." Dexter said, slurping the grape juice with a straw.
"So, what do you eat during the thousands of years?" Zidane asked.
"I would not be having to let the others hear about this although I can tell you that me and Verta are respected to the living things, we barely eat the meats. Just the chickens, cows, and fishes." Blanca explained.
"But for me, I can hunt the small animals such as mice and rats. Couldn't get out of my instinct, that's what snakes can do for the nature." Verta said, taking the fork to grab the small cherry tomato and eat it.
Niffty have noticed Crymini, Millie and Tybalt are chowing down the donuts at the round table.
"I would love the ones I never try." Niffty murmured.
Husk takes the bag of tuna sandwiches with salad and cheese.
"Hey, give more cinnamons and strawberries for me. Especially with the jelly ones." Crymini is munching on the cinnamon donut.
"We all want ten chocolates!" Millie beamed with her eyes sparkled.
"Leave more to me." Tybalt said.
Husk growled at them. "Are you guys show some restraint!?"
Taiyo and Ripley were watching every traveller in each conversation.
"You sure have a lot of party member in your team, just the full of demons, cyborg and the thief." Taiyo said.
"Hey, watch your tongue!" Zidane retorted.
"Yeah, there is one thing I should keep them company." Ripley murmured.
"Isn't Princess Daisy supposed to come here?" Aggie asked.
"Nah, she's went off to Peach's castle." Yoshi answered.
"Are you saying you lived in New York where your home has been invaded by the Kraang?" Luigi asked.
"Yeah, any facts you interested?" Ripley asked.
Yoshi nodded as he responded to him. "We ran into another group led by Tommy Oliver. There are—"
"We know. Kenji, Atsuko, Keno, Sasuke, and Snow Fang. They kinda lived in the same homeworld like Ripley and Arnold." Aggie murmured.
"My gosh! You did know about Tommy Oliver! The first original Power Ranger write down in history. You guys have met him, right?" Charlie grinned.
"Yes, bunch of times. Where else did you go?" Taiyo asked. "And you do have an uncle?"
"You actually read my mind. Oh yes, his name is Satan. He is my dad's younger brother, or I prefer baby brother." Charlie answered with a giggle after the last part.
"Satan is the one of the Seven Deadly Sins. He is entity and embodiment of Wrath." Aggie explained.
Taiyo, Luigi, and Yoshi were stunned to hear shock.
"Wicked…" Taiyo gasped.
"We already heard that part from the book. What are the other demons represented the other sins?" Luigi asked.
"You may know my dad is one of them, he is called himself the Fallen Angel of Pride and my uncle is the Devil of Wrath. Five demons are Asmodeus the Nephil of Lust, Beelzebub the Voracious Bug of Gluttony, Belphegor, Demon of Sloth, and lastly, Mammon the Avaricious Demon of Greed." Charlie explained.
"Are they the strongest beings in your other-worldly home?" Taiyo asked.
"Why would I have to answer to you? I'm maybe just the princess but you have no idea what those demon deities can do. FYI, they are very formidable and any aspect of their abilities." Charlie responded.
"They have powers and ranking directedly beneath royalty in hierarchy. Also, the Seven Deadly Sins have some of the successors called themselves the Overlords." Aggie answered.
"Did they do that?" Yoshi asked.
"Yes. I know a few of them. Seviathan, Zestial, and Palmonia. Most of the demons have honored them as the demon gods." Aggie said, drinking the cup of latte.
"That was ridiculous, demons can't pray to the gods from the Heaven. They are infidels." Yoshi muttered.
Zill spits out his coffee on the floor in a sheer surprise, coughed, and Kayla tried to comfort him.
"Ooh, are you okay?" Yoshi asked before realizing what he said. "I am sorry, did I say it out loud?"
"He says infidels." Dexter pointed out with a quiet voice.
"What's wrong?" Zidane asked.
"We get that. The humans thought the demons are being infidels just because they are not following the Christian beliefs, try not to insult the demons with holy words." Zill said.
"Okay, it is a possibility." Yoshi tried to say something specific.
Zill dashed to him, interrupting the green dinosaur. "Bup-bup-bup-bup-bup-bup. Let me repeat to you one last time, especially not in front of Kayla. She is my gal-friend."
The yellow and purple Hellish Demon then glowed his eyes with bright red before uttering him in a deep demonic threatening voice.
"Or I'll crushed your bones in your body!"
Making the others feel uncomfortable with Zill's deadly expression as Spam gasped in fear.
"Scary!"
Yoshi was becoming pale, whimpering, and trembling his body in terrify. But Kayla pulled Zill away from him to sit him back at the table.
"Don't mind, fellas. Zill is getting way overreacted under the circumstances." Kayla replied.
Zill wobbled his head roughly, clutching it.
"I almost lost it. My apologies, didn't mean to happen again." Zill murmured, giving his apologetic look.
"Is Yoshi going to be alright?" Blanca asked.
"I am…just need a little fresh air." Yoshi answered, hopped off from the ¾ booth, and ran out of the café.
"Has the dinosaur dude doing, okay?" Millie gestured.
Before one of them tried to answer, Yoshi shrieked outside like a panic girl, causing the other diners to get startled.
"Ow!" Ripley cried, forcing himself to cover his ears. "My sensitive ears! It hurts so bad!"
"Damn… He screams a lot." Crymini muttered.
Charlie, Aggie, Niffty, Husk, Dexter, Crymini, Tybalt, Millie, Kayla, Jack, Spam, and Vanexa gave their frowned faces at him with disgusted looks.
"What? I stopped him saying that." Zill gave his usual response like there is nothing wrong.
"You are some sort of scary guy, making anybody have the nightmares." Husk grumbled.
"Okay, okay, okay, all of you. We are not allowed to disturb the customers, enjoy the meals." Yixato yelled.
"Yeah, what he said." Goku added.
"So, he's always like that?" Verta asked.
"Yeah." Crymini said.
"Geez. That is the most frightening part." Tybalt commented.
Luigi cleared his throat without giving off his nerves.
"Moving on to the next point. Taiyo, do you want to know about the Dark Star?" Luigi asked.
"I haven't heard it. But you knew about it." Taiyo said.
Luigi sighed deeply and loomed to the party members who shared their traded glances in a puzzle.
"All of you please pay close attention to me. I am going to tell the rest of you about the Dark Star. Mario and I report to the others in the castle for the events…"
(Flashback – Princess Peach's Castle: Night)
After Mario spoke to Peach about Dylan connected to Bahamut, he told them that Saïx is looking for the Dark star and bringing it to Lord Fawful.
"The Dark Star?! Your saying Saïx will get the Dark Star for Lord Fawful to bring the endless darkness to my beloved kingdom?!" Peach surprised.
"That's impossible. The legend says the ancient Star Sprites are sealing the dreaded object below our Mushroom Kingdom, it was passed on to Princess Peach's family for generations." Toadbert said.
"I have to assure you, Mario. The Dark Star will not be awakened by the wicked forces since the seal was strong enough to become impenetrable." Rosalina said.
"That makes us worry! Organization XIII will use it destroy our homeworld! We got to do something right now!" Luigi panicked.
"Calm yourself, Luigi, and listen." Lucifer firmed, stunning Luigi, and stopped his panic attack. "I made my arrangements as soon as the Mushroom Melee Battle starts from another day. You shall inform the group to provide more security posts to keep the enemies at bay."
"Yes, Lucifer. I will tell them tomorrow; they know what stakes in situation." Luigi replied.
"Good." Lucifer nodded.
"And where is the Dark Star?" Mario asked.
"It is located underneath this castle, the dark artifact locked in the dungeon. Even I can tell you where the secret switch is if you want the others for assistance." Peach said.
"Understood." Luigi said.
"And Mario, whether you win or lose, you know what to do." Lucifer murmured.
"I'll see what I can do after the contest." Mario determined. "No one will take the Dark Star for evil deeds."
As soon as they both leave the throne room, Luigi barely noticed Lilith hiding behind one of the spiral columns and was witnessing the scene with her concern.
(Toad Town - Mushroom Café)
"And I want to ask you. Will any of you will do this for the sake of our kingdom?" Luigi asked.
The group looked at each other before giving Luigi sympathy expressions. All of them knew how the mission would be difficult.
"We won't let your worries get you down." Yixato said. "You already have a company."
"Leave with us, green plumber." Niffty replied.
"We are with you now." Verta boasted.
"I do agree with your permission." Blanca told him.
"If any lackies are going to get it, we be happy to support." Tybalt replied.
"Heck yeah! Team M and M, gettin' the job done, makin' the moneys!" Millie said.
"We don't need to make the moneys." Dexter uttered.
"We are Trug." Trug gave his thumbs up.
"As much I admitted helping." Chopsuey smirked.
"Remember. Each of us have contributed to the Mushroom Melee Battle, we cannot know who the opponents were." Axol spoke.
"Axol's right. We'll be started to give more discussion of plans by tomorrow." Taiyo said.
"That was clever idea you come up with." Spam murmured.
"You definitely need a timetable." Vanexa suggested.
"Yeah, whatever." Taiyo shrugged.
"We make sure that doesn't happen." Zidane said.
"That would be dangerous mission we gotta be careful." Aggie takes her caution.
"No matter some of us have to fail, we trusted the leaders in our team." Sean said.
"All in favor with Luigi, say aye." Ripley says to the group, holding up his left hand.
The allies lifted their hands to the air. "Aye."
"The ayes have it, folks." Taiyo said.
"So, what are we going to do first, Taiyo?" Luigi asked.
"How about we can start playing video games?" Charlie asked.
The allies groaned in irritation.
"Way killing our mood, princess." Jack muttered.
"Yes, we played some games after we finished the meals." Taiyo said.
"There's no choice, isn't it?" Yixato sighed, putting his head on the table, knowing this could take time before preparing everything for tomorrow.
"You guys better get some rest. We can work for this together." Ripley stated.
"Affirmative. Operation Security Protocols, commencing." Arnold affirmed.
"Wait a sec? Where's Natus? We haven't seen him in the whole day." Tybalt said.
"About that. I do rarely see Natus and he got the feeling unwell. I would try to ask him but he said he has gone out somewhere alone." Axol replied.
"Did you tell him where he went?" Yixato asked.
"He couldn't say the words, it is something trouble in his thoughts during the events in Hollow Bastion." Axol murmured.
(Mushroom Kingdom - Hilltop)
Natus sat alone on the Hilltop where anyone looked at the great view and sees the sunset and almost dusky starry sky.
"I just don't know what I am supposed to do and I could be the one to get stronger. I do want to help my friends but how can I seek my potent?" Natus said himself.
He has suddenly felt his vibrations by the veins from his body and black linings appeared on his forehead, arms and legs. A mark flashed on his chest that resembled the Neutron Star. Natus took surprise from it, and he gasped as the silhouettes of the genetic molecules formed into the orb.
"The Power Neutron Cell..." Natus gaped as all the markings vanished and slowly regain his composure. "I understand. Mortu must have inject the power cell into my body. I must strengthen my inner spirit..."
Natus hovered the ground with his levitation ability, emitting the soothing eerie noise and closed his eyes.
Author Notes: The three teams have one day off before tomorrow for Mushroom Melee Battle. However, Lord Fawful will get his hands on the Dark. Luigi told the group they have to find the dark artifact right underneath the castle, leaving Taiyo, Mario, Yixato, Ripley, Zill and Axol to participate in the challenge match and taking care the rest of their quest before the shadows returned to the Mushroom Kingdom. Don't forget to review after this!
