Here we go with chapter 2. Again please correct me if I make mistakes with the planets, Star Wars history etc. I research as much as I can, but alas I am flawed. Enjoy!

Ben didn't know where he was. It felt like all he did was blink and his grandfather was gone and replaced by what looked like an ordinary room. It was minimally furnish with only the essentials. There was another door in the small room that led to the 'fresher. He looked over from there to noticed a medium sized window that showed it was nightfall. Wherever he was, the sun had set. Ben finally looked down at himself and wiggled his toes and fingers. Everything felt like before. He had on the black clothes he died with he presumes. 'Thank God he didn't sent me back naked.'

He walked over to the 'fresher and turned on the light. His face was the same as he remembered it. Well at least from the few times he had looked in a mirror. Truth be told he hated to see his own reflection. His face was an amalgamation of his parents. Just a reminder of pain. He saw the scar that marred his face. He brought his hand up and lightly traced it with his finger. 'Rey...'

He let his hand fall and focused on his reflection again. Whatever his next move, it was going to be after a shower...

He let the hot water fall over his body. Amazing how thoughts run away in the shower. One is never as contemplative as when under the spout of water. He looked to the ridging of his abdomen. He noticed the scar on his left side under his ribs were he was injured at Starkiller base. Even his scars came back with him. "Let me clarify one thing before your thoughts stray away. Kylo Ren is dead, but his actions the things he did are factual, historical. Because you are here with me does not mean that those you affected by your doings as Kylo Ren have forgotten you." The words of Anakin Skywalker rang in his mind like a faded echo. These scars were to remind him that what he had lived was real. Who had been was real. And who he is now is also real. Its the future that is ambiguous, and therefore his own to define.

He finished and turned the water off and dressed.

What now?

He knew he wanted to find Rey. She was the whole reason for Anakin's sacrifice, and for his being here again. How to approach her? To her a whole year had passed with him dead. Completely erased. Its not as if he could just find her and say hello. Ben snorted at the thought. He was sure that when he would found her, he would look at her from afar at first. Take in her beauty, the slenderness of her body, the movement of her lips as she spoke all while he worked up the nerve to talk to her. He was nervous. What was her life now? How was she getting by? How strong had she gotten in the Force? He sat on the bed and closed his eyes as he remembered her bright eyes and sincere smile...

He snapped his eyes open; the air was escaping his lungs, the pressure on his chest was mounting. His gaze became unfocused as he clutched his head. Something within him was waking up. As if his mind, soul, and body were birthing something within him. He tried to steady his breaths as he focused on what it was. 'The bond...' he realized with horror. How had he not thought of this? The dyad bond was trying to mend itself back together. If he was feeling this then its only for certain that Rey was too. 'No, no, no!' He didn't want her to find out like this! He wanted to break the news gently, not gut punch her with it. Who knew what she was doing now. What if she was in the middle of flying? She could be feeling this and-

Click.

Ben could finally breathe again. His senses came back to him, and his blood stopped rushing in his ears. The bond was solid. Completely healed. It took root deep inside him and remained constant. He stood from the floor (how he got there he can't remember) and focused on the bond. Shock, awareness, overwhelming disbelief...He felt these sensations, but knew they weren't his. He clenched his jaw; he had just come back and already he was fucking with her life.

All this not being enough, he felt the air shift before him. The familiar change of atmosphere unfurled along his senses like many times before. He swallowed, and with a dry mouth looked ahead of him.

It was his turn to be shocked.

A slender back that he would recognized anywhere was before him, but she was not alone. A familiar dark man was holding Rey. Intimately. They were more than familiar, and must have been for some time. Intimacy like that is only grown from constant companionship, trust. He saw Rey's hand clutching at the dark man's arm, but she was not responding to him. He had asked her a question. Called her darling... Ben's eyes narrowed, his jaw clenched, and his emotions spiked instantly. Before he had time to decipher these emotions, his body was reacting.

His arm reached through whatever type of opening was between them, gripped her soft upper arm, and pulled her through.
-

Rey still couldn't believe her eyes. She felt the pressure of his grip, she sensed the swirl of emotions within him, but could not make sense of them. Her mind was still trying to catch up with the fact that Ben was before her. Holding her. Looking at her... quite pissed off.

"Ben?" she asked breathlessly. His violent emotions were strongly swirling in her mind and making it hard to calm down.

Instead of being happy that the focus of his resurrection was before him, Ben wanted to demand why the ex stormtrooper had been holding her so affectionately. Why had that man had his hands around her waist, and cupping her face? Why had he called her darling? Before he ask anything she was kissing him. Ben would have laughed at how off guard she caught him, but as his brain caught up with reality, he began to respond. The divine pressure of her lips on his was exquisite. Her warm mass that was soft in his arms, was trying to climb him. Ben felt her legs trying to wrap themselves around his waist, her arms trying to pull her up so her lips could get better purchase on his. Ben groaned and let his body react. He put one of his thick arms under her bottom and his other across her upper back to cradle her neck. He started to walk them towards the wall behind her.

Finally feeling the hard surface, he brought his hand to cup her face. She was kissing him with desperation. He was finally able to perceive her emotions; there was a yearning within her that finally felt sated. She was unsure if this was real. Most prominently there was fear. She thought this wouldn't last, that he would fade away to nothing like last time. He let all his walls down so that she could feel him, and let his primal instincts take over.

He was a man who deeply desired this woman. This is why he had conquered death.

Rey felt the shift in his touch. He had been tentative at first, almost tame, as if he was letting her take the lead. She had also pounced on him, so he might be trying to catch up. Then she felt his kisses become more fervent; the pulls and sucks at her mouth were matching her own. He was trying to reassure her. He was here and he was not leaving. She let her hands get lost in his dark locks. His mouth started to head towards her neck, and she gave a moan and slight tug at his hair when he sucked at a particularly sensitive spot.

Only pants and groans were audible. There was no thinking here, only intuition. A fever was surrounding them both that came from relief they both felt at their bond being complete again. There was no pain, no existing without the other half. The connection was wide open. Only pleasure, reassurance, desire, wanting and the feral need for completion drove them. Rey felt his erection against her thigh, and having her legs wrapped around him, continued to let the passion steer her. She needed that delicious pressure, that friction. She bucked against him once testing the movement. She felt the spasm of her clit and the clench of her cunt, as well as Ben's grunt of approval.

Ben was in rapture. All previous objections he had wanted to hurl at her were gone. His disposition was as labile as ever. He had never been a master over his more passionate emotions. His rage, ambition, and imperiousness were always encouraged when it came to the dark side of the Force. It was like kindling for the fire. One of the unexplored sources of passion however, was lust. At the baser level he had a woman whom he found attractive currently kissing him, and encouraging his arousal. Adding more, he found this woman exciting because she was his equal in all. And the cherry on top of the cake? He loved her. He wanted to fuck her and make love to her all at once. Feeling her grind what he knew was her went core against his hard cock was exercising his discipline. He wanted nothing more than to finish what they had started, but his mind woke up and slapped him. There were things to talk about. And this time he knew that they could take their time. However, she did not.

Rey felt Ben begin to withdraw from her, his passionate fever starting to slow. She tightened her legs around his waist and pulled at his shirt to keep him in place. Ben chuckled gently and looked down at her hazel eyes.

"No! Please! Please don't stop kissing me!" Rey pleaded almost sobbing, "I don't know if I'll see you again."

Ben pushed her down slowly, delicately, and took her hand so that he could kiss her palm. "I'm not going anywhere. I swear."

Rey felt her eyes begin to moisten. "Its...its been hell without you. I can't go through that again. Not now that I know what it feels like to have you here," Rey confessed, resting her forehead on his chin.

Ben had forgotten how short she was. How small. If one were to look at his back they could not tell that she was in front of him. He understood what she meant. Having their bond broken was like a dismemberment. Then having it grow back was painful, but now they're here. Complete. Their bond hummed with life. The effort to keep it open was imperceptible. It was like breathing, like a heart beating. Completely innate.

"I swear on my father that I'm not going anywhere," he said mentally wincing at the mention of his father.

Rey looked up at him in awe and nodded. She understood the gravity of that statement.

Ben rubbed his hands up and down her arms and kissed her forehead. He led her over to a chair that was in the corner of the room. At some point he was going to have to figure out where the hell his grandfather had left him.

Rey watched as Ben sat on the bed across from her. He seemed to dwarf the space they were in. She forgot how solid and tall he was.

Ben looked at her and smiled. "I am sure you want an answer as to how I got here."

"Honestly? I don't care how you got here. I am just glad that you are," she said with a laugh. "But that is a good place to start," she responded with a timid smile.

"I am sure you can guess that it was the force. And conveniently I forgot most of what I went through. All I remember is meeting Anakin Skywalker."
Ben stopped at her furrowed brow. "He was Darth Vader at one point," he said answering her unasked question.

Rey gasped. "You met your grandfather?"

It was Ben's turn to look confused. "You knew who he was?"

Rey nodded. "He's Luke's father. Luke is your uncle. The last name Skywalker...just simple logic. Also when I was training with General Organa she mentioned him a couple of times.
Nothing in great detail."

"Yes, well, he traded his existence for mine. Its because of him that I'm here."

"Traded?"

"Yes. There must always be a balance in the force, especially when it comes to lives. Energy, matter, existence don't come from nothing. Something must be taken in order for something to be given," Ben explained, "Anakin no longer wished to go on in the Force. He wished to cease existing."

"He sacrificed himself for you," Rey said with awe in her voice.

"He wanted us to have a chance," Ben said leaving the ending to that sentence open. He did not dare define their very new whatever this was yet. He may have come back for her, but he knew nothing of this Rey one year later. He needed to gauge where she was at so he could plan how to move forward. Rey felt him shielding, but did not press him. If he really wasn't going anywhere, then they needed to reacquaint themselves. Whatever happened with them after tonight had to be done with caution.

Ben's light chuckle brought her eyes to his.

"What's so funny?"

Ben looked around. "Do you happen to have any idea where we are?" he said waving his arm around the room. "Anakin, the Force, dropped me into existence, but with no clue as to where."

Rey laughed and stood. "You're obviously in a lodgings." She looked over to the window and peered to the surroundings outside. She gave a sound of recognition.

"That's the top of the entertainment building here on Takodona. You weren't too far from where I was," Rey said.

Ben nodded and then felt the change in his bond-mate's thoughts. He lowered his shields and tried to pick up on her musings. The dark man's faced flashed briefly in his mind's eye. She was thinking about him. Ben's hands fisted as he tried to focus on something else.

"You were already near by?" he asked in hopes of shifting both their thoughts. Again he saw Finn's face flash in her mind and then felt her clamp down on her side of the bond. Ben mentally winced at the dampened connection. He had not been expecting that.

"Yes, I was," she answered tightly, her hands fidgeting on the frill of her dress. Ben frowned at that. Rey was wearing a dress...

He looked at her more closely as she leaned near the window. Her hair was down with a simple barrette holding her hair that had elegant braids. Her face and eyes were lightly covered in hues that brought out her cheekbones and the hazel in her eyes. Her lips were stained rosier than usual. She was wearing make up. He kept lowering his gaze towards her clothes. She was wearing a pale pink dress with minute frills. Rey was nothing if not minimalistic. They had that in common among other things. But the fact that she was even wearing a dress. Rey was a desert rat so to speak. She valued the essentials, not anything materialistic. Not that she didn't look absolutely beautiful. The pale pink shade complimented her skin tone. The gossamer off-the-shoulder look was a tease, but kept her modesty.

"What were you doing near by?" he asked, his tone coming off a bit more suspicious than he wanted. Her voice having been tight, the fact that she wasn't making eye contact, and that Finn's face kept making an appearance in her mind was quickly making his good humor vanish. "Must have been quite the celebration."

Rey bit her lower lip and turned to face him. She saw the seriousness in his face that was oddly reminiscent of Kylo Ren. She was not scared by what she was going to tell him. She was scared by how he would react. That he might think he was meddling in her life, her happiness. Or he might just be outright pissed.

"It was an engagement party," she started breathily, "For me and Finn."

Ben flexed his jaw as he caught the glint on her left hand. There mocking him with its brilliance was a simple gem. Like before his emotions began to quickly spike. Whatever shields he had up were quickly demolished by the strength of the emotions rushing through him. Rey felt them like heat on her skin. Rage, jealousy, hurt, disbelief, possessiveness...Rey was startled as her left hand was levitated. She felt the ring that was on her left finger be whisked off and float towards Ben. He stopped the offending gem before him and looked at it with pure hatred. It seems as though Kylo Ren could have moments of resurrection.

He concentrated on the gem, and only with the power of the Force, began to crush it.

"Ben stop!" Rey cried out as she realized what he was doing.

This plea in protest only fueled him further. He felt her indignation at what he was doing. Rey could see his train of thought; she walked forward and grabbed his face with her hands so that his eyes were looking only at her.

"I know what you're thinking, and you're wrong. Drop the ring Ben," Rey ordered gently. Ben had felt his anger diminish enough so that clear thought could once again flow in his mind. He did as she asked and took a calming breath.

"Do you love him?" he asked to the point.

Without missing a beat Rey answered. "Not ever how I love you."

"His ring on your finger would say otherwise," Ben bit out as he took his face away from her grasp.

"Like you, I have things to explain as well Ben. You were...gone. Life, though painful, continued without you," Rey stated defensively.

"Yeah, real painful," he groused out. "You say that life was hell without me, yet here we are with you about to marry another man. Marry, Rey!" Ben yelled out.

"You don't get to jump to conclusions! You weren't here!" Rey defended with anger. "Losing you after knowing what it was like to kiss you. Knowing what it was like for our dyad bond to be connected..." she trailed off as angry tears escaped her eyes. She wiped away at them while shaking her head.

"You say you don't remember anything except for before you showed up here. Well I remember everything," Rey said jutting her chin out in challenge, "So now let me tell you what happened."

There you are folks. Please review. I'd like to know that this story is getting looked at. Also, just letting me know if this is worth continuing.
