TW: Yeah, Moffat really didn't think the Daleks forgetting The Doctor through.

THWA: Glad you enjoyed it.

In Egypt 1334 BC, The Doctor is trying to enter the TARDIS when an Egyptian woman stops him. She tries seducing the uncomfortable Doctor. The Doctor tells the woman, Queen Nefertiti that she has to reassure her people after the attack of the giant Locust.

"Of course the Spaceman would know Nefertiti," Donna said, not sure whether to be amused or exasperated.

"And she's attracted to The Doctor," Martha noted amused.

"Well can you blame her?" Jack asked with a smirk, causing Martha to sigh in exasperation at his antics.

The sound of a car horn is heard and The Doctor jumps away from Nefertiti, pulling out his phone. The Doctor is intrigued by the alert on his phone but tries unsuccessfully to dissuade Nefertiti's interest. He then enters the TARDIS. The Doctor is then seen standing in a futuristic military base, where he is briefed on a ship 'the size of Canada' heading for Earth.

"Bloody Hell," Mickey said as the past viewers looked alarmed at this notion.

"If that ship hits earth, the loss of life…" Donna trailed off in horror.

"And that's not taking into account what might be on it," Martha muttered.

"And as usual, The Doctor's the only one who can save us," Jack mused as they watched uneasily.

The Doctor becomes excited by the reading, telling Nefertiti, who he calls Nefi that they have to go get the Ponds. He rambles for a moment before Nefi asks if the soldiers can communicate with the craft. But the ship hasn't responded to any of their attempts to contact it. They plan to send missiles at it if it comes within ten thousand kilometers of earth, to The Doctor's dismay.

"Of course it is. Why is it whenever something like this happens, the first solution is always to try and blow it up?" Donna asked annoyed.

"Sometimes, the best option is the one with the least amount of lives lost. They don't know what's on that ship; it could be a bunch of toxic chemicals that'll render earth uninhabitable or a plague that will kill thousands. Sometimes, you just can't take that risk," Jane pointed out.

Donna grumbled under her breath, not agreeing but also seeing Jane's point. But that didn't mean she had to like it.

Being informed they have a little over six hours before it gets to that, The Doctor drags Nefi along, saying they'll need help. In the African Planes in 1902 AD, The Doctor greets a man in front of a camp fire. The man scolds The Doctor for leaving him alone for seven months with two dancers.

"A real sacrifice, I'm sure mate," Mickey said sarcastically.

"A sacrifice I'd be willing to make any time," Jack smirked.

"We know," Martha said with a sigh.

"Would anyone object if I hit him over the head?" Donna grumbled.

"I certainly wouldn't," Jack flirted and she looked at him in exasperation.

"I see why The Spaceman tried to keep me away from you," Donna deadpanned.

The Doctor tells the man, Riddell that he has something but Riddell isn't falling for it again. But after a moment, he asks what it is. The Doctor admits he doesn't know but offers to let Riddell find out.

"And a man like him won't be able to resist that," Mickey noted, already knowing it from the look of him.

"Which is how The Doctor convinced him to join him, playing to his ego," Jack said with a smirk. "Nicely done Doctor."

At Amy and Rory's house, a man is standing on a ladder, looking at a light bulb. Rory and the man bicker as it's revealed the man is Rory's father. Rory and Amy are holding the ladder and Amy smiles cheekily at Rory as Brian says that Rory is lucky to have Amy. Rory mouths 'blah blah blah' at her.

"Well, seems like they patched things up," Martha said with a slight smile, happy that Amy and Rory were back together.

"After the incident with the Daleks, things pretty much went back to normal with them, or as normal as it can be," Jane shrugged.

"At least something good came out of that mess," Wilf muttered.

Rory and Amy hear the sound of the TARDIS to their alarm. Brian is confused before the TARDIS materializes around them. The Doctor, not noticing Brian, greets Amy and Rory before pulling a lever and the TARDIS flies towards the ship.

"Blimey Boss, maybe check they don't have company next time," Mickey said as he face palmed.

"Oh Spaceman you dumbo," Donna groaned.

"How have you possibly remained in the shadows for so long?" Martha asked in exasperation.

"A combination of government cover ups and human ignorance," Jane shrugged.

"You'd be surprised how often people will come up with explanations when they don't want to admit the world is bigger than they realize," Jack agreed with a nod.

The Doctor orders everyone to grab a touch and Brian drops the light bulb in shock. The six of them step out onto the ship, looking around. The Doctor examines a spider web before demanding to know how Brian got aboard the TARDIS. Rory introduces them before he and The Doctor bicker. Rory points out The Doctor materialized around them and The Doctor, embarrassed, greets Brian.

"Well that's one way of meeting your grandfather in law," Jack noted amused.

"Wouldn't Brian have known The Doctor from the wedding?" Wilf wondered.

"Brian came down with the flu at the last minute. And he and Rory were never particularly close. There was never any bad blood between them, they just never really connected until later in life," Jane explained.

"You know him?" Martha wondered and Jane grimaced.

"No," Jane said in a voice that said it was best not to push.

As the past viewers exchanged wary glances, wondering what that was about, Jane mused on the fact that, like Amy, Rory and River, Brian was a part of her father's life that he had kept private, from her and the Siren. One part of him that he had kept untouched by the Siren's mission to take away everything he loved.

The Doctor leads everyone away and Amy tells Rory to tell Brian something quickly. He sarcastically thanks her before explaining about traveling on the TARDIS to Brian. A tremor shakes the ship and Rory quickly follows after The Doctor.

"Well that has to be the quickest crash course on traveling with The Doctor ever," Jack said amused as Mickey snickered.

"Is no one else concerned about the tremors?" Donna asked uneasily.

"I don't think it's an explosion," Martha said doubtfully. "But I'm not sure what else it could be."

"Wait for it," Jane said with a grin, looking forward to their reactions.

Amy demands to know what's going on and points out it's been 10 months since they've seen The Doctor. The Doctor explains about the ship before hugging Amy. He introduces Nefi and Riddell and Amy defensively asks if he's replaced her and Rory. The Doctor says they're not Ponds and he thought they might need a gang. Rory and Brian rejoin the group just as a steel door begins opening. The group is stunned to see what's inside. The Doctor tells the group to run and they do. Seeing The Doctor lingering, Amy calls out to him and he excitedly says there are Dinosaurs on a spaceship. Amy forcibly drags him away as two Anklyosaurus come out.

"What. The. Bloody. Hell?" Mickey said slowly as the past viewers stared at the screen in utter disbelief.

"Oi! Dinosaurs? How?" Donna exclaimed, not able to come up with more as her mind whirled.

"Feel like using complete sentences Donna?" Jack asked dryly.

"Well how are you so bloody calm?!" Donna snapped irritably.

"I've seen stranger things," Jack shrugged.

"Torchwood Three also had a pterodactyl," Martha added.

"Truly?" Wilf asked, overcoming his shock and looking intrigued.

"Let me tell you about Cardiff sometime, boy do I have stories," Jack said with a grin.

"While this all interesting, why are Dinosaurs on a Spaceship?" Donna asked.

"Something tells me we'll find out soon enough," Martha muttered, unable to shake the feeling of dread that had come over her.

The group runs from the two dinosaurs before Nefi leads them around a corner. They take cover and watch as the Anklyosaurus becomes trapped in the door way. Riddell pulls out a knife, offering to kill them but The Doctor argues they need to preserve the dinosaurs. Amy shushes them before the dinosaurs break through the doorway. The group ducks as the Anklyosaurus move passed them.

"Well, at least they're safe for now," Martha said.

"From the dinosaurs maybe. I'm more worried about what else might be on that ship," Jack noted as he narrowed his eyes. "Those dinosaurs didn't get on the ship by accident, someone put them there."

"But who would do that?" Wilf wondered and Jack shrugged, having no idea.

Rory asks how there can be dinosaurs here and who's flying the ship. The Doctor is excited by how much there is to learn as Brian asks if the dinosaurs are flying the ship. The Doctor scoffs at that, saying they're merely passengers. The Doctor then mentions the missiles, alarming the others but he assures them six hours is plenty of time.

"Spaceman, you really need to work on your tact," Donna sighed in exasperation.

"Where's the fun in that?" Jack asked with a grin. "Besides, if anyone can pull this off, it's The Doctor."

"I hope you're right. Dinosaurs are an extinct race. Imagine what we could learn from them," Martha said her voice full of wonder as she imagined the possibilities.

"You would think of that," Mickey chuckled as he looked at his wife fondly.

The Doctor moves over to a cobweb, moving it aside to reveal a monitor. Amy asks how many dinosaurs are on the ship as The Doctor uses his screwdriver on the monitor. It comes online and The Doctor searches for engines, locating the primary one. The Doctor touches the screen and he, Rory and Brian vanish. Nefi is confused as Amy becomes annoyed.

"Oh bloody Brilliant," Donna groaned.

"And now they're separated. I'm not even sure why I'm surprised, it's typical at this point," Martha sighed.

"Always a setback," Jack noted as they all watched the screen worriedly.

The Doctor, Rory and Brian reappear on a beach. The Doctor groans, realizing a teleport activated on his voice. Brian snaps at The Doctor over the situation before storming off. Rory explains Brian hates traveling and The Doctor wonders why he brought Brian. "I didn't! Why can't you just phone ahead like a normal person?" Rory snaps.

"Rory, did you hear what you just said?" Jack asked amused.

"'Normal' is not in Boss's vocabulary," Mickey snickered.

Brian then demands they tell him where they are. The Doctor sticks his tongue out, determining it's not on earth by the taste. Seeing what looks like a bird in the distance, Brian wonders if it's a kestrel. The Doctor says he hopes so as Rory feels the beach, telling The Doctor its humming. The Doctor then orders Rory and Brian to dig while he goes off to look for rocks. Brian pulls out a trowel and begins to digging, telling Rory he should put it on his Christmas list. Rory says he doesn't have one and The Doctor shouts that he does.

"Of course you do. You're on a first name basis with Santa," Martha said amused.

"Is no one else concerned about the Kestrels?" Mickey asked uneasily.

"What we hope are Kestrels," Jack muttered. "They need to figure out where they are and how to get back to the others, soon."

Brian hits something and realizes there's a floor under the beach. As Rory calls out to The Doctor, a man in an unknown room watches on surveillance. He orders The Doctor to be brought to him.

"Well, I guess we know whose piloting that ship," Jack noted.

"And he seems to know The Doctor. This can't be good," Martha muttered easily.

"Just his luck," Donna groaned.

Amy, Nefi and Riddell are making their way through the ship, Amy telling Riddell not to drink. He stiffly says he doesn't take orders from females and Nefi says he should learn, as she executes men that speak to her that way.

"How very tyrannical of you," Donna said sarcastically.

"Still, can't say I'd mind seeing Riddell taught a thing or two about respecting women," Martha pointed out and Donna shrugged, not disagreeing.

"Remind me to never piss you off love," Mickey muttered and Martha smiled before kissing his cheek.

Amy asks who Nefi is and she introduces herself. Amy begins geeking out, telling Nefi she's a big fan when they hear a growl. The trio looks down to see tyrannosaurus sleeping between them.

"Good Lord," Wilf said as they past viewers stared at the screen in disbelief.

"Of course they would stumble upon a sleeping T-Rex," Donna sighed.

"At this point, I'd be surprised if they didn't," Jack muttered as they all watched uneasily.

Seeing it's not full sized, Amy realizes they're in the middle of a nest. They move to retreat but hearing a screech, decide to go forwards. Riddell carefully steps over the T-Rex trying not to wake it. As they move on, Riddell introduces himself to Amy and becomes infuriated when she says she hasn't heard of him. They begin bickering before Nefi asks if Amy is also a queen. Amy says she is.

"Oh you wish Amy," Jack said as some light chuckles broke out across the room.

"To be fair, I'm pretty sure Rory would say she's a queen," Donna said with a smile.

"The Doctor would probably also say that, although he'd say it just to appease Amy," Martha said with a giggle.

On the beach, the Doctor digs up another monitor, revealing they're still on the ship. Brian and Rory bicker about whether they're still on the ship and The Doctor explains they were teleported here because it's the engine room. The ship is operated by hydro-generators. Brian is confused and Rory explains the ship is powered by waves.

"Hydro-generators, of course. Why didn't I think of that before?" Jack wondered, nearly slapping his face for his stupidity.

"Hydro-generators. That's a thing?" Mickey asked in disbelief.

"Yes, they were quite common a few centuries ago, although they're not used so much in your time," Jane explained.

"So the ship must be a few centuries old then," Martha muttered. "So how are the dinosaurs still alive?"

"It'll make sense in a minute," Jane promised, none of them seeing the dark look that crossed her face.

The Doctor throws his arms around them, gleefully rambling about what they could do if they could stop the ship being blown to pieces. But he can't shut the wave system down, as it takes too long. Hearing a screech, The Doctor turns around as Rory says they need to find the control room. The Doctor agrees but says they have to do something about the birds. Rory and Brian look up to see pterodactyls flying towards them.

"Looks like we know they're not kestrel," Jack said as the past viewers watched worriedly.

"Run Spaceman," Donna pleaded.

"I think I preferred your pterodactyl," Martha told Jack uneasily.

"Me to," Jack muttered as they all worried for The Doctor, Rory and Brian.

Brian is in disbelief as The Doctor says they need go. He drags Rory and Brian away but Rory points out the pterodactyls are noticing them. The Doctor shouts for them to run and they take off. Rory asks if they can't teleport but The Doctor says it's burnt out.

"Of course it is," Donna groaned as her worry increased. "Come on Spaceman; use that big brain of yours to figure a way out of this."

As the pterodactyls fly after them, The Doctor directs Rory and Brian to an opening in the cliffs. The Pterodactyls try to claw at them but the trio manages to get inside the opening. Rory asks what they do now and The Doctor says they need to go through the cave. However they soon here loud footsteps.

"Oh brilliant. What now?" Donna groaned.

"Now Donna, at least they're safe from the pterodactyls," Wilf pointed out.

"I'm more worried about what might in the cave with them," Jack said as he narrowed his eyes.

"Out of the frying pan and into the fire," Martha sighed.

Brian realizes they're trapped and Rory points out whatever's in the cave is coming towards them. The Doctor makes a dry comment and Brian points out the steps are getting closer. The Doctor steps back as two robots emerge, one saying its cross with them.

"Have to admit, I was not expecting that," Mickey said as the past viewers stared at the screen in disbelief.

"First dinosaurs, now robots. What is going on?" Donna wondered incredulously.

"That man said to bring The Doctor to him. This must be who he was talking to," Martha realized.

"I guess we'll find out what's going on soon enough," Jack noted as they watched intrigued.

Amy, Nefi and Riddell come across a room filled with cobwebs and Riddell noted whoever was piloting the ship left in a hurry. Nefi and Riddell debate about what killed them and Amy sarcastically tells them to lighten up. Amy presses a button and the lights come on. Nefi is surprised and Amy says traveling with The Doctor has taught her to push buttons whenever entering a room. Amy is then able to access data records by placing an orb into a slot but the circuits are fried. As Amy tries to access the records, Riddell hears a roar and looks over, seeing a shadow outside the room.

"Typical, they find lights and now they're being tracked by dinosaurs," Mickey said sarcastically.

"Let's just hope they're smart enough to avoid being eaten," Jack noted as they watched the screen worriedly.

Amy slaps the machine to try and get a picture and is stunned when an image of a Silurian comes up on the screen.

"Bloody Hell," Mickey breathed as the past viewers stared at the screen in disbelief.

"It's a Silurian ship," Jack said as the realization hit him.

"Of course, it all makes sense now. The Silurians were around the same time as the dinosaurs and didn't The Doctor mention they thought the world was going to end when the moon came into existence?" Donna remembered.

"Yes, he did. So they must have fled earth with some of the dinosaurs," Martha realized.

"Like Noah's Ark," Wilf muttered.

"But if this is a Silurian ship, where are the Silurians?" Jack wondered and Jane smiled tightly.

"Spoilers."

The robots are leading The Doctor, Rory and Brian through the ships. Brian wants an escape plan but The Doctor doesn't want to escape, Rory adding they might learn something. Brian worries they'll be killed but The Doctor assures them they won't, calling one of the robots 'Rusty'. The robot gets defensive before the other one calms him door. Hearing a growl, Brian looks ahead and is stunned. The Doctor turns around to see a triceratops. The Doctor assures Rory and Brian it's an herbivore and not to panic. The robots begin bickering over where or not to shoot the triceratops as it growls. The Doctor begins petting it as it sniffs at Brian's trousers. The Doctor wonders if he has any vegetable matter and Brian says his balls.

"Hugh?" Mickey said as the past viewers stared at the screen in disbelief and Jane fought a giggle.

"It'll make sense in a minute," Jane promised with a slight smile.

Rory put a hand to his face as Brian clarifies he meant his golf balls. The Doctor realizes the grass has left a residue as Brian pulls them out. The Triceratops licks Brian, making him freak out.

"It's basically just a big dog," Donna said with a giggle.

"Poor Brian though," Martha said with a matching giggle.

"I can't imagine I would have taken this any better a few years prior," Wilf mused.

At The Doctor's instruction, Brian throws his golf balls and the triceratops goes after them. The Doctor then tells the robots to take them to their leader.

"Boss, that was terrible," Mickey said as they all burst out laughing at The Doctor's antics.

"That's Dad," Jane said with a slight giggle.

Back with Amy, Nefi and Riddell, they watch a recording of the Silurian saying only one species has been unable to thrive on the ship. Amy realizes the ship is a Silurian Ark, to which Riddell scoffs. Nefi calls him an idiot and they begin bickering before beginning to flirt. Amy orders them not to flirt and Nefi tells Riddell not to doubt Amy. Riddell wonders where the Silurians are if this is their ship and Amy performs a scan. No Silurian life forms are detected aboard the ship.

"I'm not sure what's more unsettling. The absence of the Silurians or that Riddell and Nefertiti seem to like each other," Donna muttered uncomfortably.

"It's definitely the Silurians. Something isn't right here," Jack said and they all agreed silently.

Nefi proposes the Silurians may have abandoned the ship for a new world but Amy notes it doesn't explain the dinosaurs or why the ship is returning to earth. Amy asks the computer to show her life signs on day of the launch and then today. There are thousands less. She then asks to see the images side by side and Nefi points to the image of another ship. Amy realizes the ship has been boarded before.

"That must be who the robots are working for," Mickey realized.

"And they probably have something to do with the absence of the Silurians," Jack said darkly, already having a good idea about what their fate was.

But he wasn't going to say anything; on the slim chance he was wrong.

The Doctor, Rory and Brian are led outside a room. Music plays inside and a man orders The Doctor to be let in. The robots open the door and The Doctor enters before the door closes, trapping him inside.

"Well they're taking things out of the bad guy play book, separating The Doctor from the others," Donna noted uneasily.

"Might be a good thing. The Doctor doesn't have to worry about this bloke using them as leverage," Mickey noted, not seeing the grimace that crossed Jane's face.

The Doctor assures Rory and Brian he's fine before walking inside. The robots inform Rory and Brian the man isn't interested in them. Rory says they need to learn some manners and then begins arguing with the robots.

"And now Rory's arguing with a robot. I've officially seen everything," Martha said dryly as the past viewers watched amused.

The Doctor enters the room, seeing a man hooked up to some tubes and listening to the music. They talk about the music, The Doctor revealing he was the second set of hands playing it at the time.

"Of course you were. Next you'll say you were Beethoven as well," Donna said sarcastically.

"He's not Beethoven, is he?" Martha asked startled.

"No, but I think he mentioned that he knew him once," Jane mused.

"Of course he did," Mickey said with a slight grin.

The man says The Doctor coming here was fate. The Doctor introduces himself and the man introduces himself as Solomon. Something then scans The Doctor and Solomon says it's a system malfunction that should be ignored. The Doctor asks what happened to Solomon and Solomon explains he was attacked by three raptors before being rescued by the robots, who did the best they could for his legs but he needs a doctor. Realizing Solomon thinks he's a physician; The Doctor plays along, examining Solomon's legs.

"So it's not about The Doctor, he just needs, well, a doctor," Mickey said lamely.

"At least it's not one of his enemies," Martha said in relief.

"No, that would be a different kind of problem," Jane said with a grimace.

"I take he's going to be a problem?" Wilf inquired.

"What was your first clue?" Jane asked dryly.

The Doctor promises to repair Solomon's legs if Solomon tells him how he acquired the dinosaurs. Solomon presses a button, ordering the older one to be injured. Alarmed, The Doctor rushes towards the door just before Brian is shot in the shoulder.

"Oi!" Donna exclaimed as the past viewers started.

"So much for not being able to use them as leverage," Jack said grimly.

"If he did that to Brian just to make a point…" Martha trailed off but they all caught on.

"I don't think the Silurians left of their own free will," Jack said darkly.

"He murdered them," Wilf realized in horror.

"We don't know anything yet. Let's just keep watching," Martha said, not sure whether she was trying to convince Wilf or herself as the recording continued.

As Rory begins examining Brian's wounds, The Doctor storms back in, telling Solomon he doesn't respond to violence. Solomon says he doesn't like questions and they boarded without his permission. Solomon orders The Doctor to fix his legs or the next blow will be fatal.

"Oi!" Donna exclaimed as they all glared at the screen.

"Bloody bastard," Mickey said in a growl.

"Whatever The Doctor does to him is too good for him," Martha said darkly, not seeing the look on Jane's face.

As Rory treats Brian's wound, he threatens to tear the robots apart when this is over. They laugh him off as Rory says it's just a burn. Rory then pulls a med pack out of his pocket, noting they carry tools in their pockets. Rory gives him an ice patch before sticking him with a painkiller. Brian is impressed as Rory notes he gets to see his nursing skills in action for once. Rory's phone begins ringing and Brian is surprised it works in space. Rory assures him you get used to it before answering Amy's call. Amy demands to know where they are and Rory explains the situation, glaring at the robots. Amy tells him it's a Silurian ship. Solomon asks how The Doctor got on board as he walks over with a tool. But The Doctor wants to know about Solomon, asking about his craft embedded in the ship. Impressed, Solomon explains he's transporting the ship to a commerce colony and The Doctor realizes Solomon is a trader. The Doctor then realizes the scan was an IV system used to identify value.

"He wants to know what The Doctor's worth so he can sell him on the black market," Jack said as the realization hit them all.

"The last Time Lord. The value would…" Martha trailed off as dread filled the room.

"He can't let that scan identify him," Mickey said as they all watched worriedly.

Solomon brings up the database to try and determine how much The Doctor is worth but, to his surprise, there are no records.

"Okay, wasn't expecting that," Mickey said as the past viewers looked at the screen in surprise.

"Even if The Doctor is considered dead to the universe, there should be some record on him," Martha said confused before Jack laughed.

"Oh, you are brilliant my old friend," Jack said with a chuckle, having figured it out.

"What are you talking about?" Wilf asked confused as they all looked at him in confusion.

"He took a leaf out of the Silence's book. How did they remain undetected for so long?" Jack asked.

"Because no one knew they existed. He erased all records of himself throughout the universe," Donna realized.

"That is brilliant. He'll just become a ghost story, a myth," Martha said as she caught on. "It'll be impossible to tell what was fact or fiction."

"It's the ultimate cover to make sure there's never another incident like the Silence again. Well done Doctor," Jack said with a smirk.

The Doctor smiles before steering the conversation back to the dinosaurs. After putting some braces on Solomon's legs, The Doctor helps him sit up before Rory walks over to the door, holding out the phone and saying Amy wants to talk to him. The Doctor takes the phone and Amy explains this is a Silurian ship. The Doctor asks where they are now and Amy says there are none on board; the stasis pods are all empty. The Doctor hangs up and hands the phone back to Rory, telling him to be ready. The Doctor then walks back over to Solomon, demanding to know what he did to the Silurians. Solomon reveals they were awakened a handful at a time and ejected from the airlocks.

"So we were right, he did kill them," Martha said in dismay.

"I didn't want to believe it, but it's not unsurprising of a man like him," Jack said as a dark look crossed his face. "Anything that gets in the way of profit is a threat. Even at my worst, I never crossed those lines."

"All this, for money?" Wilf asked in disbelief.

"You'd be surprised how fat greed can drive some people Wilf," Jane said with a dark look.

The Doctor realizes Solomon killed the Silurians because he wanted the dinosaurs. Solomon admits they helped him by answering a distress call and then he saw the cargo. They wouldn't negotiate so he killed them.

"So they helped you and you rewarded them by killing them," Donna sneered.

"He's a real piece of work," Martha said as they all looked at the screen in disgust.

Jane merely watched silently, wondering how they would react to her father's decision on how to deal with Solomon.

The Doctor points out he's going the wrong way and realizes Solomon doesn't know how to steer the ship and so the ship defaulted and returned back to earth. "The Silurians outwitted you, even after you massacred them," The Doctor says gleefully. Solomon says The Doctor will help him now but The Doctor tells him about the missiles, telling Solomon to get off the ship. Solomon thinks The Doctor is trying to get the dinosaurs for himself but The Doctor tells Solomon not to judge him by his standards.

"Not everyone is as evil as you Filch," Donna sneered.1

"He does look a bitch like Filch in the movies, doesn't he?" Martha noted.

"Even Filch isn't that bad," Mickey shrugged.

The Doctor then walks out of the room, telling the robots Solomon wants to see them before leading Rory and Brian away from the door. They come upon the triceratops and The Doctor tells Rory and Brian to do what he does. The Doctor rushes forward, jumping on its back.

"So now he's using the triceratops as a horse," Donna said, amused.

"Are you surprised? It's such a Boss thing to do," Mickey said with a laugh.

"Let's just hope it can get them away from Solomon and the robots," Martha said, not relaxing just yet.

Rory and Brian follow after him as Solomon orders the robots after The Doctor. Rory and Brian get on the triceratops and The Doctor tries to make it run but it simply stands there. The robots begins firing at them and The Doctor asks how the start a triceratops. As the robots near them, Brian throws a golf ball and the triceratops begins running after it. As the robots continue shooting at them, the ball bounces off a door and the triceratops turns. The robots begin bickering about who was watching them before realizing they've gotten away.

"Nope, still a dog," Martha told Donna with a giggle.

"A big, scaly dog," Donna agreed with a smile.

"I have officially seen everything now," Jack said with a grin.

Brian comments on the absurdity of the situation as the triceratops continues chasing the golf ball. It nears a wall before the ball stops. The Doctor, Rory and Brian are thrown from the triceratops and it walks over to Rory, dropping the ball before walking off.

"And it apparently wants to play fetch," Martha said as they all laughed.

"Only The Doctor could find himself in such a situation," Wilf said with a chuckle.

As they get up, The Doctor sees a monitor which shows a message from earth. He walks over it and the soldier who briefed him appears on it. She informs The Doctor that the ship is nearing earth and they have to launch the missiles.

"Of course they do," Donna groaned as the smiles all faded from everyone's lips. "It couldn't just be bloody easy, can it?"

"Unfortunately not. But they're between a rock and a hard place. They can't just let the ship crash into Earth, it'll kill thousands, at best," Jack said grimly.

"Hurry Doctor, you have to stop this," Wilf said softly as they watched uneasily

The Doctor pleads with her not to launch the missiles but she won't budge, wishing The Doctor goodbye before ending the message. The soldier, Indira is then seen at the base as the missiles prepare to be launched. With Amy, Riddell walks over with two rifles. Amy yanks it away from him before realizing it's a stun gun. She calls him almost clever as Riddell says even The Doctor wouldn't object to putting a dinosaur to sleep.

"Clever, but it won't do much good if the ship is blown up," Mickey muttered as they all watched uneasily.

Nefi asks if Amy is The Doctor's queen. Amy says she's Rory's queen before quickly correcting wife, pleading with Nefi not to tell Rory she said that. Nefi asks if The Doctor is married and Amy points out Nefi has a husband but she calls him boring. Riddell says Nefi clearly needs man of action and weapons, cocking his gun before walking off. Amy and Nefi are amused before they get an alert on the controls. They look over to see The Doctor, Rory and Brian on the monitor. Rory asks if the ship has any defense systems and The Doctor is overjoyed at the suggestion, kissing Rory in excitement.

"Rory, you lucky bastard," Jack said jealous of Rory as everyone else snickered. Even Wilf smiled slightly.

"Boss really does like to keep it in the family this time around," Mickey said with a laugh.

Jane smiled slightly, relieved that the tension had been broken for a moment. Because they'd need the laughs for what came next.

The Doctor asks for the ships defense and weapons systems but to his dismay, no systems are available. Rory asks what kind of ship doesn't have weapons and The Doctor notes ancient species were full of hope. Brian then suggests the control deck but The Doctor says it won't make a difference. The Doctor and Rory argue about what to do next before Solomon appears in a flash of light with his robots.

"Oh great, he's back," Mickey said sarcastically as the tension returned to the room.

Solomon says he still has his own ship but The Doctor argues he won't get the dinosaurs onboard. Solomon agrees but he's not interested, as the IV system has found something even more valuable. The Doctor is confused and Solomon reveals he means Nefi.

"So he deals in human trafficking as well. Why am I not surprised?" Donna rolled her eyes.

"He apparently likes to dabble in a bit of everything," Martha said angrily.

"She's not a bloody prize you git," Mickey sneered as he glared at the screen.

"Men like him see prizes anywhere," Jack said darkly.

As Amy, Nefi and Riddell watch, Solomon offers to let them live if they give him Nefi. The Doctor refuses and Solomon sneers that he'll punish those who get in his way. He then has one of the robots shoot the Triceratops.

"NO!" Donna exclaimed as they all looked at the screen in horror.

"He just…he killed it. To make a point," Martha said horrified.

"He truly is a monster," Jack said as a dark look crossed his face. "Doctor, whatever you do him is too good for him."

"I wouldn't be so sure," Jane said darkly causing them to look at her confused but she didn't elaborate, simply continuing to watch.

The Triceratops cries as everyone watches horrified. The Doctor walks over to it, comforting it as it dies.

There wasn't anyone who wasn't affected by the scene. Jack lowered his head with a sigh as Donna and Martha looked near tears. Mickey looked murderous as Wilf lowered his head as well. The room was silent as the recording continued.

The Doctor then angrily walks back to Solomon, who orders Nefi be brought to him or he'll kill them. The Doctor still refuses when Amy, Nefi and Riddell appear behind them. Nefi reveals she demanded to be brought here. The Doctor stops her from going to Solomon, trying to convince her not to do this. She won't be convinced and heads over to Solomon. Riddle trains his gun on Solomon, declaring he will shoot him if he takes Nefi. Nefi argues he let her make her own choice as Solomon mocks him, the robot looming over his shoulder. Riddell lowers his rifle slowly.

"She's brave," Martha noted softly with a bit of admiration.

"And selfless. It's rare to find someone who will put others before themselves to such an extent," Jack said impressed. "I see why she was such a great queen."

"There aren't a whole lot of historical figures who live up to the legend, but Nefertiti is definitely one of them," Jane said with a slight smile.

"I'll say," Donna said with a grin.

Solomon moves to touch her but Nefi stops him, disgusted. Solomon uses one of his crutches to slam Nefi against the wall, saying gleefully he'll enjoy breaking her spirit. He orders the computer to take them back to his ship and he, Nefi and the robots vanish.

"Bastard," Mickey said as he glared at the screen angrily.

"Don't worry, he gets what he deserves," Jane assured him.

"I bloody hope so," Donna grumbled.

The computer then announces a warning of hostile targeting. The Doctor then gets an idea, having the computer teleport them onto the control deck. Rory asks for The Doctor's plan and The Doctor reveals they have 17 minutes to turn the ship around. The Doctor then orders Riddell to keep an eye out for dinosaurs, assuring Rory he has a plan. The Doctor orders Rory and Brian to get rid of the cobwebs. On Solomon's ship, Solomon finds that he can't undock from the Ark and realizes The Doctor has magnetized them.

"Okay, so he's stopped Solomon from leaving with Nefertiti. But The Doctor still needs to find a way to avoid the missiles," Martha muttered, her mind racing as she tried to figure a way out of this.

"If there's one thing I've learned from all our adventures with him, it's never count The Doctor out until it's over," Jack said as he narrowed his eyes. "Whatever your plan is Doctor, do it now."

Riddell walks out of the control deck where a raptor walks into view. He takes aim at it and it lets out a screech. Soon, several other raptors come into view.

"The hunter is now going up against dinosaurs. There's a Jurassic Park joke in there somewhere," Mickey muttered as they watched uneasily, worried about Riddell.

He was sexist and arrogant, but he also seemed to genuinely want to help.

Indira is informed the missiles will reach their target in 11 minutes. On the ship, The Doctor is dismayed to realize the ship can only be piloted by two people of the same gene pool, which is why Solomon couldn't change course. But Brian points out he and Rory can, as they come from the same gene pool.

"It appears Brian coming along was a good thing after all," Wilf mused.

"If Brian and Rory can turn the ship around," Martha muttered.

"That still doesn't take care of the missiles," Donna said uneasily.

"Relax, Dad has a plan for that," Jane assured them.

"I hope so, otherwise this is gonna be the shortest space voyage ever," Jack noted as they watched uneasily.

The Doctor directs Rory and Brian to sit down, telling them the ship can do all the steering, even a monkey could use it, joking about how they're going to. When no one laughs, The Doctor moves on telling Brian and Rory they need to steer away from the earth and not hit the moon or they'll wipe out the races that live there.

"The moon has – you know, of course it does," Donna sighed, not even questioning it at this point.

"After everything else, that's not really a surprise anymore," Martha shrugged.

"I'll take you to see the moon people sometime. They know to have a good time," Jack said with a fond grin.

"And of course you know them," Mickey rolled his eyes.

The Doctor says the primary controls are in the arms of the chair, using his screwdriver to activate them. The Doctor then walks over to the console and begins fiddling with the wiring as he and Amy bicker about his plan. He asks about Amy's job, saying he works best when he multitasks. Amy admits she quit and The Doctor notes she quit the last one as well. Amy says she keeps waiting for the TARDIS and points out the gaps between his visits are getting longer. The Doctor points out she and Rory have lives but Amy says she fear for the day where he doesn't turn up at all.

"Something tells me that's never gonna happen," Jack noted. "Amy and Rory seem very special to him, even more so than Rose was."

"He keeps going back to them. He never came back for any of us," Martha agreed, not resentful, just pointing it out.

"Amy and Rory were very special to Dad, even among his Companions. Dad didn't like to play favorites, but they were very close to his heart," Jane explained.

"Clearly," Mickey muttered, thinking The Doctor probably wouldn't have even come back for Rose as much as he came back for the Ponds.

The Doctor kisses Amy on the forehead, promising her she'll be there with him until the end. Amy says vice versa and he looks at her for a long moment before saying he's done.

Jane grimaced, remembering what soon come in Manhattan. Until the end indeed.

They step away from the console as Riddell walks back in; saying keeping the dinosaurs at bay is a two man job. Amy then grabs a rifle, telling Riddell she's worth two men but he can help to if he wants. She then walks passed the stunned Riddell.

"Atta girl," Jack said with a grin as Mickey snickered.

"I think Riddell's about to get a lesson in just how capable women actually are," Martha said with a smile.

"Prepare to eat crow Riddell," Donna said excitedly, looking forward to this.

The Doctor takes something off the console as Amy begins to ask The Doctor what he's going to do. But The Doctor has teleported away. Amy and Riddell then walk out.

"Well, Boss is as secretive as ever," Mickey noted as the past viewers wondered what The Doctor was up to.

Rory and Brian activate the controls as Amy and Riddell exit the deck to face the raptors. They begin to shoot the raptors and Riddell says he wants a dinosaur tooth. Despite the situation, Riddell says he's never been happier. Amy tells him just to shoot. As Amy and Riddell fend off the raptors, Rory and Brian activate the controls and the ship begins to change course. Brian laughs at this as Indira is informed the ship has changed course. But the missiles have already locked on and will hit in 7 minutes.

"And of course they'd be heat seeking missiles," Donna groaned in dismay as the past viewers watched uneasily.

"Whatever you're going to do Doctor, do it quickly," Jack said softly, hoping The Doctor's plan would work.

As Rory and Brian continue to fly the ark, The Doctor teleports onto Solomon's ship, taking him by surprise. The Doctor takes out the robots with his screwdriver and a furious Solomon orders him to release the ship or he'll kill Nefi, pointing a weapon at her throat and referring to her as an object. Angrily, Nefi kicks his crutches and Solomon falls on his back before Nefi pins him to the floor with his own crutch, declaring she will never be his possession.

"Never mess with an Egyptian Queen," Donna said with a laugh.

"You must have more of Dad in you than I thought, he tells Solomon the same thing," Jane mused and Donna blinked.

"Guess you're still part Doctor," Martha said with a slight grin.

"Either way, Solomon is getting what he deserves," Jack said with a grin.

"You have no idea," Jane said wearily, wondering how they would take this.

The Doctor tells Solomon never to mess with an Egyptian queen before heading over to the controls. The Doctor explains he's replacing the ship's signal with that of the Silurian's, so the missiles will go after this ship rather than the Ark.

"Wait, what?" Martha asked surprised as the past viewers looked at the screen in disbelief.

"He's really gonna…" Mickey trailed off in disbelief.

"Even Dad's pacifism has its limits," Jane said lowly.

"He's been traveling alone for too long. And you know what he's like when he travels alone," Donna muttered uneasily.

"Still, can't say I feel too sorry for Solomon," Jack said apathetically.

The Doctor ushers Nefi out of the ship and places a sphere on the floor, telling Solomon that is what the missiles are honing in on. The Doctor pulls out his screwdriver to demagnetize the ship. Solomon tries to bribe The Doctor but he coolly asks if the Silurians begged him to stop. The Doctor looks at the monitors, telling Solomon to look at the missiles. The Doctor mockingly notes how valuable they are before saying they're all his. Solomon says The Doctor wouldn't leave him but The Doctor closes the doors on his way out. "Enjoy your bounty," The Doctor says before activating his screwdriver. The doors slam shut and Solomon cries out for The Doctor before his ship flies out of the Arc. The missiles go after Solomon's ship and he cries out for The Doctor again. The missiles hit his ship and it explodes.

There were a few winces around the room. While Solomon undeniably deserved what he got, it was unsettling seeing The Doctor so cold and malicious.

For a brief moment, they had gotten a glimpse of the man who had fought in the Time War.

On the Arc, Amy and Riddell stand surrounded by the stunned Raptors. Later, The Doctor is leading Rory and Amy over to the TARDIS, saying it's time to drop off the dinosaurs. But Rory says he and Amy would like to go home. The Doctor pauses disappointed but agrees easily.

"Didn't see that coming. From how Amy was talking, thought they'd go an adventure with him," Mickey said surprised.

"He left them alone for too long. They got used to not having him around all the time," Martha noted, remembering having a similar experience after The Year that Never Was. "As much as they love The Doctor, they need a breather."

"Sometimes, The Doctor isn't always what you want or need in your life," Jack mused as he thought back to refusing The Doctor's offer to travel with him again.

Amy quickly assures him it's not forever and The Doctor assures her he'll be busy anyway, having to drop everyone back home. But Brian asks a favor, saying he wants to see something. Later, Brain hangs with his legs out of the TARDIS, staring down at the earth as he drinks tea.

"It's quite a view," Wilf said sounding a little wistful.

"It looks so small from this angle," Donna said softly.

"Really puts things in perspective, doesn't it?" Jack said with a slight smile.

Behind Brian, Rory and Amy look out at the earth. The Doctor walks up behind them, looking at Amy and Rory wistfully. On the African Plains, Riddell looks up at the sky when Nefi walks out of his tent, cocking a rifle. They smile.

"Well, I guess we know what happened to Nefertiti," Jack noted as the past viewers looked surprised.

"Weirdest. Couple. Ever," Mickey declared.

"Bloody tell me about it," Donna muttered.

At Amy and Rory's house, Rory is fixing a light bulb as Amy walks in, having received another post card from Brian. She walks into the living room, where several post cards from Brian on his travels are on the fridge. Rory joins Amy as she puts another post card on the fridge, this one of a place called Siluria. The dinosaurs are seen roaming it with the TARDIS in the picture before the screen goes black.

"Fitting name," Martha said with a slight smile.

"It's a nice place. Dad took me there once," Jane said with a smile.

"Guess Brian got over his dislike of traveling," Jack noted.

"After going to space, traveling the world didn't seem so scary anymore," Jane shrugged before getting to her feet. "So, who's ready for dinner?"

A so-so episode that's slightly elevated by the memorable character of Brian. Not the best episode, but certainly not the worst.
