Peter and Jasper are bickering just before one of their phones ring causing them to fall silent very quickly making me turn my full attention from my book onto them. Jasper is the one to grab the phone and place it on speaker phone as he takes a seat on the couch closest to me in the chair. Both of the boy spoke to me about contacting the tribe to talk to them about what is going on, so I wonder what Sam and the elders have to say for themselves as far as Jacob goes.
"So, before Bella took off completely out of town," Sam's voice catches my attention, "Jacob decided to take his place as alfa. Since he is the rightful alfa, the elders thought he could handle it. Jacob was fine until he heard Charlie talking to Billy about her leaving rather abruptly. I'm fairly sure he had it in his mind that Bella would've forgiven him eventually even after what happened so when he heard she left he completely flipped."
I frown shaking my head. "But I'm not his imprint," I say loud enough for Sam to hear, "why does he care? It's not me who is meant to be with him and at this point I don't think I want him to find his imprint. He's turned fucking psycho and they definitely don't need that in their life."
"I agree and unfortunately he isn't thinking rationally enough to hear reason. I think he is stuck on the fact that you wanted Cullen more than you ever wanted him- "
I quickly cut him off. "Cullen," I spit out, "left me in the woods- "both the boys let out a growl when I say that I was left in the woods, I simply glance at them before continuing, "and was gone long before he started phasing. Whatever Jacob is doing is of his own free will and stalking me isn't going to change anything."
"Why was he able to leave the land?" Peter questions. "I thought you guys weren't able to leave for extended periods of time and it would seem he's been gone well over what should be allowed."
"When he left for Bella he broke off from the pack," Sam explains with a sigh. "I've contacted the surrounding tribes to see if they've heard of an alfa breaking off like that, but they never heard of a shifter being able to leave as he has."
"I don't care about any treaty you and the Brady Bunch have," Peter begins, "he's a dead man walking if he thinks that he is going to get his hands on our mate."
Jasper nods in agreement. "You better hope he comes to his senses because if not, we aren't liable for what happens."
"I hope it doesn't come to that but as far as I am concerned- you aren't included in the treaty anymore. Your version of mate is our version of imprint. Nothing comes between that," Sam tells them. "If you can- just let me know what comes of this."
"Will do," Jasper replies before ending the call.

"You guys bicker like an old married couple," I say after observing the two for just over an hour much to my amusement.
"Old- yes," Peter answers. "Married? I'm not that idiotic to marry this fool," he snorts.
Jasper slaps him upside the head making me laugh as I shake my head. "How does that work anyhow?" I question suddenly curious. "Marriage between three I mean." I can almost hear the crickets outside chirping in the night as they pause to look at me intently making my skin flush. "What…?" I ask self-consciously fidgeting in my spot.
Peter is the first to speak up after a few more long awkward minutes, "How do you feel about marriage?" He cocks his head to the side.
I raise an eyebrow and shake my head a bit. "Not much of a desire. Parent's divorced, my grandmother, aunt, my cousin three times removed. All divorced," I shrug.
"Hmm," Peter says before glancing at Jasper quickly. "Maybe your cousin three times removed isn't the best example for marriage as it is," he cracks a smile.
"How about a movie and a game of Trouble?" Jasper suggests.
A couple of games later Peter is taking his loss not so manly as he accuses Jasper of cheating somehow and I can only laugh in amusement. "I think you're being a sore loser right now, Peter," I inform him as I reset the board game.
"I am not being a sore loser; Jasper is being a sore cheater!" Peter defends himself.
"You can't cheat at Trouble," I laugh. "All you do is roll the dice and move your pieces."
"Would you like to play a different game, Pete? One you're good at perhaps?" Jasper speaks up with a chuckle, clearly amused.
"So that you can cheat at the next one as well? I think not," Peter pouts.
Shaking my head, I stand up and make my way to the kitchen for something to drink before going back in to see the boys bickering about the board game. Sitting down on the other side of the two I patiently wait for them to settle down with their conversation that seems to have taken a turn without my notice. As I take a drink of my water, they both stop talking and watch me which makes me pause.
"What…?" I ask self-consciously as I put the cap back onto my bottle.
Peter and Jasper glance at one another before smiling widely towards me. "We would like to take you on a date," Peter states.
"A date?" I repeat.
"As in dinner and a movie," Jasper confirms. "Unless you'd be uncomfortable, then we don't have to."
"So, you guys want to sit somewhere just to watch me eat?" I raise an eyebrow. "Why don't we just stay here for that then? That way you two don't have to pretend to eat nor watch me eat."
"But you'll give us a chance?" Peter presses as he glances towards Jasper as if to confirm something that I'm not sure of.
"I'm here, aren't I?"

As I get ready to go to the movie's with Jasper and Peter, I can't help but feel just a bit nervous. Not only do I have a wolf with anger issues out to get me, but I find out that I am mated to not one, but two vampires. I know I've said it before, but I still am trying to wrap my head around that fact. As if my life wasn't complicated enough. Shaking my head, I grab my change of clothes and head to the bathroom right off the room I am staying in. After showering I quickly dry off and blow dry my hair most of the way dry before applying a small amount of makeup and finishing up. Heading downstairs I am greeted with the boys watching me intently.
Peter lets out a loud whistle as he licks his lips. "How did we get so lucky, Jay?"
Jasper walks up to me, grabbing my hand gently in his before kissing me on the cheek. "I promise he's not as bad as he seems. Don't run away," he whispers in my ear making me giggle.
"He just needs some guidance I'd say," I smile in Peter's direction earning me a tongue sticking out of his mouth.
"What movie did you decide on, sugar?" Peter asks as we get into his truck and head into town.
"Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End," I tell him as I buckle my seatbelt.
"Well at least that gives me enough time to find my next meal," Peter says cheerily causing Jasper to reach over and swat the back of his head which in turn makes me laugh.
"You really shouldn't find your kill where you're going to be spending over an hour at," I tell him. "That'll be the first place police look for connections at."
"And how would you know that little lady?" Peter chuckles.
"Charlie," Jasper replies at the same time as me. "He's Chief of Police in Forks," I finish.
"Hmph," Peter shakes his head. "Well… it's a good thing I don't leave any evidence nor take people worth living."
"Be that as it may- still might not be the best idea that you've had," I tell him as I relax back into the seat.
Once we get into town and out of the truck, walking towards the front of the theater, I feel as if we're being watched. Both the boys take each of my hands without hesitation. Peter raises his arm up and over my shoulder, not loosening his grip on my hand so my arm is up and across my chest.
"Why don't you guys go inside, I'll get the tickets," Jasper says as we get close to the line of people.
"Come on sugar, let's get some popcorn to throw at people," He smiles deviously.
Laughing I shake my head but follow him inside and get in line for the concession stand all the while I feel even more eyes on us. After ordering a medium popcorn with extra butter and a drink, we make our way to the side to wait for Jasper. Peter tucks me into his side, popping a piece of popcorn into his mouth before scrunching his face up.
"What do you remember about your human life?" I ask Peter out of curiosity.
"Not too much… mostly stuff I wish I didn't know to be honest," he begins. "I know my father was an abusive drunk- took majority of his anger out on my mother and me. I had a baby sister I remember hiding in the closet so he wouldn't touch her."
I can feel to anger rise up in my chest along with sorrow for what he had to go through with his family. "I'm sorry I- "
Cutting me off with a kiss to my cheek, he shakes his head continuing. "There's some good, not a ton, but it's there. My mother used to make the best pie- I can't remember what kind but I know I would get excited about having the first bite. I know she had long blonde hair and my sister had dirty blonde hair, I'm sure she had curls… there isn't many more memories other than that though."
Jasper begins walking up before anything else can be said and we all make our way to the theater room where we go to the very top on the left side and take a seat. Sitting between the two, we all chat quietly until the movie begins. Looking around I realize we are the only three in the theater which is weird, but Jasper and Peter snickering causes me to look at them.
"You bought every possible ticket for this showing, didn't you?" I say already knowing the answer.
"You know darlin', it could just be coincidence, did you ever think about that?" Jasper replies quietly with a chuckle.
"Or this movie just sucks so nobody wanted to show up," Peter supplies.
Halfway through the movie Peter takes the popcorn bag from my hands and places it into the seat beside him before taking my left hand into his. Jasper mimics Peters movement- both dragging my hands up to their mouths, slowly dragging their noses along my wrists inhaling deeply. Butterflies fill my stomach at their actions, my heart flutters in my chest and I breathe shakily. Jasper nips gently at the same time Peter sweeps his tongue out at the same place on my wrists. I let out a squeak just as they retract themselves, gripping my hands in theirs and watching the rest of the movie.
A/N: Currently contemplating whether or not I am going to actually include Charlie or not later on.
