Guest: Will Ichigo learn new techniques and train with his Zanpakuto in the traditional way the shinigami would do? Yes, but I plan on him doing so after the Tenrou Island arc. I plan for him to obtain/learn magic and improve on his strength overall. I'm saying that he will learn magic and regain his strength. From the beginning to the Tenrou Island arc. Afterward, he'll learn more techniques.

Love-to-peace: Will Wendy have more confidence than how she first appeared in the Oracion Seis Arc in comparison thanks to Ichigo's influence? She's still going to be a bit shy. Her fighting confidence will improve because of Ichigo's help.

Hatred and Love: Is Ichigo going to teach Wendy how to fight and have more confidence in herself? I plan on Ichigo to help her get stronger, she will be more confident but she will still be a bit shy. Since I don't want to get rid of that characteristic.

Pride of the Quincy: Will people be able to tell the difference between Spiritual Power and Magical Power? Yes, but those who are stronger can sense it, Like Makarov. I believe that Wendy and Jellal shouldn't be able to sense Ichigo's power since they're not as experienced nor strong. Ichigo, however, has experience sensing other people and their powers. During the Soul Society when Chad had fallen despite versing Kenpachi. In the Fullbring arc Kugo taught him to further enhance his senses in detecting spiritual pressure. Stand Up Be Strong: Well, I'm curious will Cait Shelter still be a thing or would Ichigo and Wendy join Fairy Tail? Along with finding Carla? Cait shelter will still be a thing, just like in the show, Cait shelter will disappear at the end of the Oracion Seis arc. Carla will also join during their time in the Cait shelter.

Dxhologram: Will you be giving Ichigo new techniques beyond the Getsuga Tenshou and Jujishou? I'll have him learn Cero, Sonido, Blut vein, and Blut Arterie if that counts as techniques. Since he's a hybrid, but if you are talking about techniques that Zangetsu would teach him, I'm not sure, I'll have to think about it.

I have been receiving a lot of questions lately, I don't mind but wow. I'm quite surprised that people are this invested in my story. I'm happy to answer them, it also makes things easier since I don't have to write it in the story itself. Just a heads up, I'm not good at writing action. Anyway, hope you enjoy it.

Chapter 4: Silverback

It was good to see Wendy in high hopes. Despite their discussion about guilds a couple of minutes ago. She was bright and optimistic. He was happy to see her mood had improved. She continued to tell stories about her mother as they continued walking.

"How big is this forest?" Ichigo thought to himself in annoyance. He was getting tired of seeing nothing but trees. Wendy was walking next to him, while Jellal was falling behind. Even though it was Jellal's idea for the three to quicken their pace. He was the slowest among them. From what Ichigo could see, Jellal's behavior was different from before, it was quite noticeable. He was looking around more, seemingly distracted and alert. He didn't know why his manners changed but all he could do was watch.

"Anima!" Jellal silently shouted suddenly. He started sweating a bit. Looking around furiously.

Ichigo was the only one who was alarmed by his sudden shout. He was confused. Was he sensing something he didn't? "What's an Ani-"

"Jellal, come on. We're going to leave you!" Wendy shouted towards Jellal, interrupting Ichigo's thought process. She had good hearing, but because of her happy mood, she wasn't able to notice Jellal's demeanor.

Jellal was surprised to hear the girl's voice. She was right, the two are much further ahead than him. Taking a deep breath, he slowly recovered. "...I'm on my way," Jellal announced

As the two stopped for him to catch up. Birds were heard of in the distance, the ground was slightly rumbling, while something was getting closer. Ichigo was the first to notice something was wrong. There was an eerie presence nearby. Jellal looked in Ichigo's direction, he seem cautious. He didn't seem to have noticed. But he saw Ichigo's expression. He didn't know why he had a serious face, but soon realize that something bad was going to happen.

Jellal dropped his bag on a nearby tree and grabbed his staff. While Ichigo grabbed onto Wendy's shoulder to stop her from walking any further while drawing out his sword. Wendy, who had taken notice of both Ichigo and Jellal's serious expressions, asked if anything was wrong. Ichigo was about to answer her question. But was interrupted when his eyes laid in front of some trees ahead of them. The appearance of the beast slowly showed. They saw a white fur animal. With horns sticking out on each side of its head with red glowing eyes. Ichigo depicted that the beast was 5 times bigger than himself and Jellal.

Wendy looked in his direction, wondering why he didn't answer her question. Her eyes laid upon the same monster. Her eyes widened while stepping back. "W-what is that?" Wendy asked in fear.

"I don't know," Ichigo said, noticing the beast emitting a dark aura. However, the dark aura didn't stay for long.

"It's a Silverback," Jellal said, grabbing both Wendy and Ichigo's attention. "A large monkey-like monster that is covered in white fur. Having great arm strength and its horns can pierce through logs. It's been said that it has tough skin".

As he finished his explanation, the monkey noticed the trio's presence and roared at them.

"It's not here to talk, we have to either fight that or run," Jellal said firmly, readying his staff.

"W-we have to fight that?!" the girl asked in fear. Seeing the beast slowly running up to them.

"If we don't fight it, others will get hurt. Wendy, you need to hide," Ichigo said quickly

Before Wendy could respond, Ichigo rushed in. Quickly closing the distance between them and the beast. As he approached the monkey at a quick pace, the beast threw its hands upwards, slamming them both onto the ground. He jumped to the left to avoid the blow. Before the beast could react. Ichigo swung his sword horizontally aiming for its right rib. Making contact, he looked at the results., the cut was small. There wasn't even blood seeping out. "Too shallow," he thought to himself with a scowling face. Wendy and Jellal were both surprised at how tough the skin was. It didn't affect the beast one bit, ignoring it like it was a paper cut.

"Do what Ichigo says" Jellal said to Wendy before running forward and readying his staff while Wendy hid behind a tree.

"Sleep magic," he said out loud off in the distance. He aimed his staff towards the Silverback. From his staff, a white concentrated mist was shot and landed on the monkey's head. The monster took the blow, its eyes slowly getting drowsy. Ichigo witnessed the spell in action and noticed the monster's actions. This time aiming for the chest, he swung his weapon with more force than he did previously.

Different from before the cut this time was much deeper. Blood started to ooze out of the beast's chest. The sleep magic quickly wore off. The beast has awoken from its fatigue and launched several attacks at Ichigo. Ichigo avoided the attacks while simultaneously throwing a fury of attacks at the monkey. Each slash was stronger than before. However, it did not seem to have slowed the beast by any means. "If only I didn't have this small body," he thought in frustration.

"One-layer magic, Fire Spear!" Jellal shouted. The fire appears in front of Jellal. The fire started to form a spear. Before long, he grabbed onto it and threw it with all his might.

The fire spear made contact with the Silverback's shoulder. Upon impact, the spear dispersed and created an explosion. Luckily for Ichigo, he was able to avoid the explosion. The spell seemed to have a great effect on the beast. The area that was aimed at had a burn mark that was created by the spell. Ichigo saw the beast slowly down. He quickly falls back to where Jellal was.

"Shoot another one" Ichigo told him

"Right"

Jellal cast the spell once more. It took longer this time, amplifying the spear's destruction power with magic. While he was preparing for his attack. Ichigo held his Zanpakuto upwards gathering spiritual pressure. Blue energy slowly emitted from the tip of the blade. He wanted to shoot out a Getsuga Tensho but wasn't able to. Back when he was experimenting with purple markings, he found out he was only able to shoot one Getsuga Tensho. Since his body and powers had changed because of his age. His powers aren't as potent as before. He tried applying more power to his sword.

Purple markings slowly appeared on Ichigo's back as he poured more spiritual pressure. His body was beginning to ache. He winced, his body was losing the strength to stand. He was biting his lip, trying not to be overtaken by discomfort. Wendy and Jellal didn't see the markings taking effect. Jellal was too focused on his spell. While Wendy wasn't able to see it from her location. They did not see nor take notice of the boy's reaction. As Jellal notified him that his spell was ready. He threw the spear at the beast once more. Ichigo released the blue energy by swinging his sword downwards. From the blade, a blue beam shot forward. Upon impact, the attack collides with the Silverback's body. Causing a huge explosion.

"Did we get him?" Jellal asked.

"I'm not too sure," Ichigo answered tiredly

"Hey, you ok?"

"I'm fine" he answers while looking forward.

Due to the smoke that was roaming in the air. The two weren't able to see the beast's condition. As the smoke slowly faded away. Both Ichigo and Jellal saw two red circles appear. It was the gorilla's eyes. It wasn't dead. The beast roared with all its might and out of instinct rushed at the two lashing its right arm at Jellal. The boys were surprised by its action. Despite its size, it was able to catch both Ichigo and Jellal off guard by its speed. Before Jellal was able to do anything he felt a kick land on his sides. He saw Ichigo kick him away from his spot. While he guarded himself using his sword. He wasn't able to avoid the blow. The markings had taken a toll on his body. The silverback's arm thrust against Ichigo. The impact was strong, it felt like a baseball bat hitting a baseball. Except Ichigo was the baseball. The arm was able to apply enough force to hurl Ichigo's entire body. Unable to stop the momentum, he crashed into a nearby tree.

"KUROSAKI-SAN/ICHIGO-SAN!" both cried out upon seeing what had happened.

He let out a painful grunt upon impact, soon landing on the floor. He tried getting up, but his knee was on the floor and his sword sharply pierced the floor. He noticed a bit of blood leaking out of his nose. His body felt a sharp pain running through his body, his head throbbed, his back aching. Upon witnessing Ichigo's pain, Wendy quickly ran away from her hiding spot and towards Ichigo. The beast continued its rampage, by charging at the wounded boy with its horns. Jellal quickly tried to restrain the monster.

"Two-layer magic… acidic vines!" he cried out, aiming the magic straight at the beast, hoping to prevent it from getting close to the others.

Glowing purple vines shot out of the ground. Grabbing both its arms and legs. While it was struggling to move, the vines were shooting out a dark green acid that left burns on the beast's skin. Leaving burn marks across its legs and arms. Despite the beast taking damage, it was not enough damage to halt the beast's rage. Flinging its arms around to free itself, using more force by the minute.

While Jellal was putting up an effort to stop the silverbacks' movements. Wendy was next to Ichigo and chanted the word "Heal" out loud. Her palms started to emit light turquoise-colored particles surrounding Ichigo's body. The pain the boy had felt started subsiding. Having the strength to stand up once more. Ichigo didn't waste any time getting up from his position. Wendy, on the other hand, tried to stop Ichigo from getting up because he was in no position to fight.

"Wendy, you said you know you support magic right?" Ichigo quickly asked, ignoring her concern.

"Y-yes"

"Do you know any spells that would enhance a person's strength?"

"Y-yes I know one"

"Cast it on me and Jellal," He said to her

Her eyes widened, taken by surprise. She had thought that he wanted her to only enhance Jellals strength. But saying that he wanted her to enhance his strength as well, meant that he was still going to fight.

"B-but you're hurt, you are in no shape to fight," She said in protest, still seeing a small amount of blood running down the boy's head.

"Who cares, we need to help Jellal" he quickly declared

Hearing his statement, the girl was speechless. Ichigo didn't acknowledge his condition and instead worried about others. She was hesitant, she has never faced this kind of situation. It was always her mother who protected her. She had never experienced fighting or supporting another person in battle. Enhancing Jellal's strength, she had hoped that he would be able to fend off the beast. But looking back in Jellal's direction he was struggling. Looking back at Ichigo, his eyes were full of determination, and courage. But somewhere, there was a bit of lifelessness and fear. Was it the fear of getting killed, the fear of the beast's presence, or maybe the fear of losing someone? She didn't know.

"How long is the effect going to last?" Ichigo asked snapping Wendy back to reality

"I have never used it for long. M-maybe thirty seconds," she said nervously

"That should be enough time"

She was once again shocked by the boy's claim. He didn't hesitate in the slightest and instead reacted to it calmly. She was still a bit scared but if it was to help her friends, she had to do it. Jellal, who was still restraining the ape, overheard the conversation and reluctantly agreed with Ichigo's reasoning.

"Wendy… I think Ichigo is making the right decision" Jellal said to Wendy.

She was still scared, but she acknowledged Jellals input on the matter and started chanting, while Ichigo was getting into his fighting position. While Jellal was using the vines to toss the gorilla as far as possible. The vines were still wrapped around the gorilla inflicting acid onto the skin.

"Power of the stout arms" she slowly chanted "that tear heaven... ARMS.."

As she finished her chanting, the magical power surrounded the two boys. Both Jellal and Ichigo felt a warm sensation around them. Both glowing red, their strength slowly increasing notably.

30 seconds

"This magic is amazing, it's like my strength is being doubled," Jellal commented, while Ichigo agreed and quickly made his way to Jellal.

"Let's go," Jellal told his friend. "Yeah" he responded.

While Wendy was still in the back focusing her all on the spell she had cast. The beast, gaining back its sense, roared at the two. Jellal released the gorillas from the vines, due to the amount of magic that he had left, he wasn't able to use the same magic for much longer. He quickly cast another spell.

"One-layer magic, whirlwind expansion!" He cried as a gust of wind blades formed in the air before slamming its way to the beast's body. Creating multiple whiplashes. The beast roared out its pain. As the whirlwind was pinning the beast. Ichigo raced around to the back and gave it multiple slashes of attacks to its back and legs. This time, wounding it severely. The beast was unable to stand up straight and both knees fell to the ground, throwing punches in Ichigo's direction. He, however, was able to dodge the attacks by jumping over. Noticing Ichigo's movement, Jellal quickly cast a different spell. For the situation.

12 seconds

"One-layer magic, heavy gravity" a magic circle appeared below the monster. The weight of the atmosphere inside the circle quickly changed. Becoming heavier than before, the monster was unable to move as freely. He shouted Ichigo's name, signifying him for the final blow.

8 seconds

"I'm ending this," Ichigo said quietly upon hearing the message. He landed on a nearby tree trunk. He readied his sword and launched himself towards the beast with immense speed. The beast turned to where Ichigo was and noticed his actions. It tried to counterattack. Ichigo's eyes start glowing light blue. He was applying a bit of spiritual pressure on the sword amplifying its power. He swung Zangetsu back, preparing to deliver the final blow.

6 seconds

In a last-ditch effort, the monster brought out every ounce of strength it had to prevent the boy's attack. Winding up a punch and lashing it while roaring at the boy. Ichigo, who had anticipated its moves and avoided the blow. Landing on the gorilla's arm. Running across it.

3 seconds

He avoided the attack by going over its arm and running down towards the chest. He exerted a tremendous amount of speed that was physically impossible for his size. He appeared in front of the monster. Catching everyone off guard with his speed. He swung his weapon at the beast's chest as hard as possible.

"It's over!"

A strike imprint was displayed on the gorilla's chest. Blood was gushing out. Ichigo stumbled past the gorilla, before looking back, panting. The three saw the gorilla tumble to the floor, its body movement slowly becoming weaker, its breath becoming dimmer, before finally closing its eyes.

"W-we did" Wendy was stunned in all honesty.

She rushed to Jellal, the closest to Wendy. Jellal fell to the ground, really exhausted because of all of the magic he spent. But was relieved to see that the three were able to overcome that obstacle.

"You did a great job, Wendy," Jellal said tiredly.

"T-thank you… I have never used magic for that long'' taking the complement and replying to him with the same expression.

Everyone was exhausted. Ichigo, who was the furthest from the two. Looked at the other two in the distance with tired and hazy eyes. His fatigue started to hit home, unable to stand much longer. His body collapsed. His back on the ground and his sword beside him.

"ICHIGO-SAN/KUROSAKI-SAN!" The two both cried out and ran to him.

"I'm fine… I'm… just… going to rest a bit," his eyes slowly closed.
