Taken Machines

When a dream (or whatever counts as a dream for an exo) Silver has is strangly similar to the mission he is given, he thinks nothing of it. He is in for a surprise, inlcuding one of his old friends who went "Missing". *Note* This is my first story so I hope you understand. The chapters will be short because im not too comfortable (or creative) with making longer chapters yet.

1. Prolouge

So, this is my first time writing an actual story and posting it, I will try to update the story frequently but with school and all that it may not be updated that often. But please stick with me and leave comments with ideas for future chapters seeing as how im writing what comes to mind with no preplan. (FYI when i posted this i have made chapters 1-4 already.

Silver's dream

The muzzle flash was the last thing the acolyte saw before it died, "Shade, how long have you been out here?" Said a nearby voice. "5 or 6 hours", I- no, this person replied. "Shade, you know Zavala would not approve." Said the voice again. "Does it look like I care Blight?" Shade said. Huh, so the person whose sight I am in is called Shade. " No" Blight said as they sighed and walked out into the light, "You hunters sure like to be on your own." She said. Shade just looked out into the darkness of the keep. "Shade? SHADE!" Blight shouted as a huge black knight walked out of the darkness. Shade grunted as the knight backhanded him into the wall and went for Blight. "Back off you ugly bastard!" Shade yelled as he charged at the knight. All of a sudden 3 more knights popped out of the dark keep but one of them wasn't like the others. It was all void like and was on black fire. "Blight!" Shade yelled, as the 4 knights charged at her. Blight groaned as the knights attacked her. Then as one of them was about to kill blight and her ghost a voice rang out of the dark, "Leave her alive, he has something in mind for the guardian." The voice said, as a void black figure walked out of the keep. Shade got up, drew his sidearm, and charged as the light filled him up with the power of the void. Shade vanished in a cloud of void and all of a sudden a knight fell to his knees and shade appeared behind him and killed the

knight. Just as Shade charged at the void looking knight, it dodged and slammed its sword down on shades ghost. A pulse of light erupted from the ghosts ruined shell as Shade felt he could no longer respawn. The black figure signals for the void knight to bring Shade to him. "So this is the guardian I have been told is snooping around where he shouldn't." the figure said. "Who are you and what do you want with Blight?" Shade asked, looking over at Blight. "I am Fade, the Darkness Bringer, also called the Taken Guardian. And As the name implies, I am of the darkness and of the taken," Fade said as he unsheathed a sword of void. Then it hit me. The sword and void looking stuff is the taken blight. I put my focus back on Fade as he swung the sword at Shade. The last thing Shade saw was Fade and the Taken Knight dragging away Blight, and a pitch black, and crimson blood red sword aimed right for his head.
