"-Something doesn't feel right"
I awoke with a shock. Was the dream I just had real. After a couple minutes, I heard voices outside of my area door so, after I fully powered on my EXO body, I went to investigate what it was about. When I opened the door Cayde and Zavala Were there talking about something when Cayde noticed me. "Hey Silver, we need to talk with you about something we believe would be in your area. It's about some missing guardians." Cayde said. I thought, wait Cayde, is having ME go, he never does that. After we all had gathered in a room with my fireteam and Ikora, Zavala motioned for Cayde to start. "Last night, we lost contact with two of my scouts, one is the hunter know as shade," That gave me shivers as I remembered my dream, "And the warlock known as Blight." Again, my dream came to mind. "Silver I am tasking you and your fireteam with finding out what happened, I normally wouldn't have you guys do this, but we had some strange readings when we lost contact." "What type of strange readings?" I asked. "Darkness readings from Blight and," Cayde paused, "A ghost death from Shade." "Oh", I start to get a bad feeling about this.
Venus, Two hourslater.
My sister Ruby, her friend Jade, and I transmitted onto the dry surface of what remains of Venus. "So this is the planet the readings were on?" Asked Jade. "Yes." I replied. As normal Ruby was already high on a vex structure that housed the legendary vault of glass. "Um guys, we have a problem". Ruby yelled down to us. Just then shots rang out. "Those are not vex shots". Jade yelled. A second later we heard a sound that was like a million little explosion all at once. "What are you doing here?" A voice said. I look up and see him. "Sh-Shadow?" I stuttered. "The one and only" He answered. "I ask again, What are you doing here?" Shadow asked. "We were sent here by the vanguard to investigate the missing guardians." Jade said in amazement. "Well then, looks like we are all here together." He said, as my sister jumped out of cover. "OH MY GOD. ITS SHADOW, THE SHADOW, OMG I REALLY GET TO MEET THE FAMOUS HUNTER." She screamed, running like a fangirl. "She's a fangirl of yours." I said to shadow as I face palmed. When Ruby reached us, she slid to a stop in front of Shadow."OHSTRIKE"? "Hey, calm down, let's get this done then we can talk." Shadow responded in a still very serious tone. Ruby immediately shut up and stopped fangirling for the most part. So from there we got on our sparrows and rode for what seemed like forever across an open plain on Venus that guardians weren't cleared for. "What happened here?" I ask as we reach our destination, which was a very damaged building that had signs of fighting all over it. The response I got made it worse. "I don't know, all I know is that the strongest signal left from shade is here." Shadow said cautiously. "But I thought we had a more exact location?" I Asked. "keyword 'had'. Shadow replied. I could've swore I heard Ruby gulp. All of a sudden I realize there were four sparrows and three of us. "Has anyone seen Jade since we got here?" I ask as I draw my weapon. As Shadow is about to answer we hear then see it, a huge vex minotaur. "Holy crap" Ruby says in fear. "I thought there were no vex in this area." I ask Shadow as me, him, and Ruby dive to cover. "There isn't supposed to be" He replies before he jumps us and uses the light to throw a group of explosive knifes at the minotaur. "Dang dude that was si- oof." I yell as I get hit into a wall. Ruby then climbs out and uses her shadow shot and stuns the minotaur while Shadow grabs a weapon Ive never seen before. Its over in seconds because of that weapon, that sword with, is that a bit of taken I'm sensing? "Hey Shadow, what is that sword." I ask. He replies with" don't worry about it." "alright" I respond. "Lets go find Jade, I think I found her tracks." Ruby announced. "Ok then lets go.". We end up arriving at a cave with vex parts and bullet shells all over. "Here we go." Ruby says, walking in. "Something doesn't feel right."
