I don't own Total Drama and The Walking Dead.
Sorry if you find any grammar mistakes. I'm still learning English because it's not my first language.
mcgman651: I'm glad you liked the chapter. The fact I got really excited to write the final three chapters of season 6 and the fact I got some free time really did it's job in me getting out the new chapter so soon. I was sad to kill off Denise as she had grew on me in this story, just like she did in the show after her first appearance. The same goes for Brody. I had decided for him to die in a similiar way to Denise a long time ago shorty after I figured out where I want him to appear in this story. Interesting choices for Negan's line up. You'll find out if you're right very soon :)
Brendan: Maybe :)
michaelgualtieri156: You're mostly right. Alvin's differently colored eyes and a missing limb were inspired by Abel's character design. The fact their names start with the letter "A" is a coincidence, though. :)
Darth krayt1: Maybe I'll have him take the spear :)
StorageShock: I'm glad you liked the chapter. Interesting choices for which Total Drama character will be Lucilled by Negan. I won't reveal if you're right or not, though as I don't want to spoil anything to you and you will find out about it yourself very soon :)
Geoff stared up at the ceiling of his and Bridgette's room, having not taken much sleep last night as everything that happened yesterday just couldn't leave his mind. The feeling of guilt he had directed towards himself for making Brody leave Alexandria with him on the of his death and the feeling of anger he had directed towards Alvin and his group for killing his friend. All of it just couldn't leave his mind, no matter how many times he tried to push those thoughts and those feelings away.
He covered his face with his hands and let out a deep exhale into them, making sure to be quiet as he didn't want to wake Bridgette up. He removed his hand from his face right after, revealing the cold angered expression he had on his face. He nodded his head to himself, having made his choice as he knew there was only one thing he could do to get rid of all those negative emotions. He remembered the promise he made himself yesterday.
He remembered how he swore he was going to make responsible for Brody's death pay. He clenched his hand in anger as he decided to make the promise he had made himself yesterday a reality. He got up from the bed and got himself dressed into his regular clothes, starting his preparation for his mission to make sure Alvin and his groups will pay for what they did to Brody as Bridgette continued to sleep, unaware of what her boyfriend was about to do.
After getting himself dressed in his regular clothes, Geoff turned around to look at the sleeping form of Bridgette. He looked at her with a bittersweet smile on his face, knowing he will have some apologizing to do after he will return from this mission. He felt terrible for the worry he will cause her after she will wake up from her slumber, but he knew it was something he had to do. It was the least he could do for Brody for causing his death.
He turned away from Bridgette and walked out of the room right after, leaving his sleeping girlfriend behind. He looked over his shoulder at the room at the end of the hallway as this room used to belong to Brody until yesterday. He let out a saddened sigh and pushed himself into walk towards the stairs. He made his way down the stairs to the lower floor and made his way into the living room where he left all of his yesterday after returning to his house.
He saw all of his stuff laying on the couch as soon as he entered the living room. He picked up his sheathed machete and wrapped it around his waist, before picking up his machine rifle and slouching it over his back. He nodded his head to himself, knowing he had everything he needed for this mission. He didn't walk out of his house right after gathering everything he needed for his mission, though.
It was when something caught his attention. It was his bag. He reached into it and pulled out the ring he had chosen for Bridgette yesterday. He opened the small blue box containing the ring and set his eyes on the ring. It looked just as beautiful as it did yesterday. He let out another saddened sigh, remembering just how excited he was at the thought of proposing to the woman he loved just moments before Brody received a bullet to the head.
He closed the box right after and put it back in the bag, knowing he will have to wait with proposing to Bridgette for now as he knew now it wasn't the right time for this. He turned away from the bag and made his way to the cupboard in the corner of the room in search of something. He opened the first drawer and saw a pencil and a notebook, finding exactly what he was looking for.
He reached into the drawer and picked up the notebook, before tearing out the first empty page. He put the notebook back in the drawer and picked up the pen, before closing the drawer. He walked over to the table and set the empty page he had just torn out of a notebook on it. He quickly wrote down a message for Bridgette on it, letting her know why he left their house without a word.
"I'm sorry for making you worried, Bridge. I had to do it. For Brody and for myself."
He turned away from the message for Bridgette as soon as he finished writing it, leaving it on the table and made his way to the exit from his house. He pushed the door open and walked out of the house into the porch, making sure to close the door behind him. He looked around himself as soon as he stepped into the porch, trying to see if there was anyone in the are as he didn't want anyone to see him leaving.
He nodded to himself a few seconds later, seeing there was no one around him right now. He made his way down the steps and started to make his way towards the fence. He was planning to climb his way to the other side of the fence instead of using the main gate as he knew there was someone on the gate duty right now and he knew there was a high possibility of this person not letting him leave Alexandria.
He reached his hand upwards and started to climb his way up the fence, finding himself on top of it right after. He looked down at the area of the other side of the fence below him, wanting to know if there were any walkers close to this part of the fence. When he saw there were any walkers close to him right now, he jumped down from the top of the fence, finding himself on the other side of the fence.
He was going to make everyone responsible for Brody's death pay. No matter what...
Rick and Michonne were laying in the bed together, having just awoken from their slumber as the cover was the only thing covering their naked bodies. Michonne set her eyes on the apple laying on the cupboard next to the bed she was laying on with Rick and reached her hand forward to to grab it. She bit into the apple as soon as she grabbed it, enjoying the taste and handed it to Rick who did the same, before handing it back to her.
"Mm." He hummed, enjoying this moment, "This is good."
"It is." Michonne nodded in agreement, "Jesus and Dawn came through."
"They all did." Rick stated, "And they're all gonna keep coming through."
"Maggie asked me and Glenn to help put up more bins and watch points." Michonne revealed.
Rick turned around to look at the window behind him and Michonne, before shifting his attention back to her, "Stick around." He got himself on top of Michonne and started kissing her across the body, getting a laugh out of black skinned woman, "Judith isn't even up yet."
"Wait, no." Michonne said, laughing as Rick stopped kissing her, "No, no, no, no."
Rick looked at her questioningly, "Yeah? Why not?"
"Maggie, Emma and Noah have us on a schedule and I'm not pissing them off off, especially a pregnant lady." Michonne explained, rubbing the back of Rick's head.
"Yeah. Not that pregnant lady." Rick nodded in understanding, moving away from Michonne as he took the apple for himself and bit into it, "Go."
Michonne sat up on the bed and looked over her shoulder at Rick, "She's worried about an attack. All of them are."
"When they come for us, we'll end it, the whole thing." Rick replied, confident in his group abilities at defeating the Saviors once and for all, "This won't be like before. We're putting everything in place and these people know what to do now. The world's ours, and we know how to take it." He moved closer to Michonne and rubbed her back, "Everything we need is right here inside these walls. We're not losing any of it again. I'm not."
"No, you're not." Michonne nodded at him as Rick bit into the apple again, "I'm not."
Michonne slouched her sheathed katana over her back as she walked through the streets of Alexandria, making her way towards the place where she was supposed to met up with Maggie. She reached her destination a few moments later as she saw Maggie, Glenn, Emma, Noah and Izzy gathered around a table with many guns laying on top of it and a barrel filled with guns.
"We'll have these, but we should hide a few." Maggie said, "That way, we can find them, but strangers can't."
"In case anyone gets in." Emma added as Michonne quietly approached them.
Glenn looked between them with an assuring look on his face, "They won't."
"We've fought worse." Izzy nodded in agreement as the sound of a motorcycle engine echoed behind them. All of them turned around to the source of it and saw Daryl driving towards the main of Alexandria.
"Oh, no." Michonne shook her head, immediately realizing exactly what was happening as Daryl parked his motorcycle in front of the main gate and got himself off of it. He started sliding the gate open, much to Rosita's confusion.
Rosita looked at him questioningly, "Where are you going?"
"Out." Daryl replied, proceeding with what he was doing as he didn't even look at her.
Abraham looked down at him from the watch tower, "No, shit. You got specifics?"
Glenn raised his brow as he watched everything happen from the distance, "What the hell is he doing?"
"Something he shouldn't." Michonne replied as she pushed herself into run towards Daryl, "We gotta stop him."
"Is this idiot trying to get himself killed?" Noah asked, picking up a pistol from the table as he followed Michonne.
Glenn, Maggie, Izzy and Emma wasted no time and followed him and Michonne, making sure to pick up a gun for themselves from the table. Unfortunely they didn't manage to stop Daryl from leaving Alexandria. By the time they reached the main gate, Daryl had already gotten himself on his motorcycle and drove out of Alexandria, beginning to make his way forward himself.
"Dammit." Noah said, "We were too late."
Michonne turned around to look at the van parked close to the main gate, "We have to go after him."
Glenn, Izzy, Noah, Maggie and Emma immediately agreed with her and made their way to the van. Maggie didn't move towards the van, intending to stay behind unlike the rest because of her pregnancy as Glenn, Michonne and Izzy got themselves into the van. Emma was about to get herself into the van with them, wanting to join them on this, but Noah stopped her.
"No. You're staying her." Noah told her, "It's too dangerous for us with your little experience with the world outside the walls. The four of us will be more than enough to go after Daryl."
Emma nodded at him, seeing a point in Noah's way of thinking, "Okay."
"Alright." Noah nodded back at her, gladdened she listened to him and won't be putting her life in danger. He turned away from her and was about to got himself into the van, "We'll be back with Daryl as soon as possible."
"Wait." Emma stopped him from entering the van as Noah turned around to look at her, "For the luck."
Noah raised his brow at him, confused by her words. He was about to open his mouth and ask her what she meant by her words. He got the answer a few seconds later as Emma leaned towards him and pressed her lips against his. Noah's eyes widened at her sudden display of affection, taken by suprise by it as he slowly melted into the kiss and returned to it.
Emma released him from the kiss and looked directly into his eyes pleadingly a few seconds later, "Just watch out for yourself. Okay? Come back to me."
Noah pushed himself out of his suprised state and nodded at her, looking directly into her eyes as he felt a blush forming on his face, "I will. I promise."
He turned away from her and got himself into the van, doing his best to ignore the looks Glenn and Izzy had directed towards him as Emma stepped away from the van, stopping next to Maggie. Michonne started up the van and started driving it towards the open main gate as Abraham quickly climbed down from the watch tower and stopped in front of the van with his hands raised, preventing Michonne, Glenn, Izzy and Noah from leaving Alexandria.
"Whoa!" He exclaimed as soon as Michonne stopped the van in front of him, "Make room for my freckled ass."
"No." Rosita shook her head as she walked past Abraham, making her way towards the van as Abraham looked at her questioningly, "Cover my watch. You stay. I know where Daryl's going."
She slid the door to the back of the van open and got herself into the vehicle, joining Izzy and Noah in the back of the van. Abraham moved out of the van's way, stopping next to Maggie and Emma as Michonne drove the van through the open main gate of Alexandria, beginning to make her way in the direction Daryl had just drove towards with hopes of catching up to him as soon as possible.
Maggie, Emma and Abraham watched them leave from where they stood with worry written over their faces. Abraham moved towards the gate with the intention of closing it as soon as the van drove out of their view. He didn't get to close it, though, because his attention was brought towards something else as he just heard several footsteps running towards him from behind. He, Emma and Maggie looked over to the source of the voice and saw Bridgette, Sanders, Duncan, Leshawna and Harold running towards them.
Harold stopped in his tracks, panting as he shifted his gaze between Abraham, Emma and Maggie questioningly, "What happened?"
"It's Daryl." Maggie replied, "He just left Alexandria. Michonne, Glenn, Rosita, Izzy and Noah went after him."
Duncan's eyes widened at the information, "Him too?"
"What?" Emma asked, "What do you mean?"
"It's Geoff." Bridgette revealed with worry evident in her voice and on her voice, "He wasn't in the house when I woke up." He showed off the letter Geoff had left her to Abraham, Emma and Maggie, "I found this letter in the living room. He went after people who killed Brody."
"We went here as we hoped we would stop him in time." Leshawna explained before letting out a sigh, "It seems like we were late."
"This idiot is going to get himself captured or killed." Duncan said in worry for Geoff. He worried about Daryl as well, but at least someone else already went after him, "I'll go get him. I know where is he going."
"I'll go with you. It's too risky for you to go alone." Sanders said as Duncan nodded at her.
"I'll go as well." Harold added, "Just like you, I know where Geoff must be heading right now."
"If you're going, then I'm coming with you." Leshawna volunteered to join them as soon as Harold voiced his interest in joining Duncan and Sanders in their search for Geoff.
"No." Harold shifted his gaze to Leshawna and shook his head at her volunteering to join hee, not wanting to put her in danger, "Three people for this mission is more than enough. We'll be harder to spot if just the three of us will go. You need to stay here and keep our community safe."
"Alright." Leshawna nodded at him, seeing a point in his way of thinking as she moved towards him and wrapped her arms around him in a hug, "Just be safe out there, sugarbaby. For me okay?"
"Don't worry. I will." Harold replied as he returned her hug. As he continued his hug with his girlfriend, he thought about the necklace he had from the jewelry for her as a present. He haven't given it to her, yet as everything that happened with Brody and Denise stopped him. He was planning to give it to her after Geoff and Daryl will be brought back to Alexandria and the matter of the Saviors will be taken care of.
Leshawna released him from the hug and looked directly into her eyes, "I love you."
"I love you too. I'll come back. I promise." Harold smiled at her. He turned away from her and turned to look at Duncan and Sanders, "Let's go."
Duncan and Sanders nodded at him, letting him know they were ready to move out without saying anything to him. The three of them wasted no time and walked through the open main gate of Alexandria with their guns in ready, beginning to make their way in the direction Duncan and Harold knew Geoff must have taken when he left Alexandria as Abraham closed the fate.
Rick and Tobin walked through the streets of Alexandria, making their way towards the main gate. Tobin had paid Rick a visit several minutes ago and showed him a letter he had received from Carol, informing him Carol had left Alexandria when everyone else was still asleep. As soon as Rick learned about Carol's departure from Tobin and read the letter she had left him, he got himself ready to go find her and bring her back to Alexandria.
"What time did she leave? Do you know what she took?" He asked Tobin as the two of them continued to make their way towards the main gate.
"Sometime in the night." Tobin replied, "I never heard her go, but she made a bunch of food, you know. She took her pack, one of my coats."
"Did she leave on foot?" Rick wanted to know.
"I don't know." Tobin gave him an honest answer as the two of them made their way to the main gate where Morgan, Sasha, Abraham, Trent, Gwen, Chef and Chris were waiting for them.
"Rick." Sasha called out for Rick, gaining his attention as soon as Rick and Tobin stopped close to the main gate, "I and Trent took over at 12:00. We were on till 6:00. We never saw anything."
Trent nodded in confirmation, "The entire night was quiet."
"Front's been quiet since the others left." Abraham stated.
Rick looked at him questioningly, "What? Who?"
"Daryl. He went ICBM after the Saviors from yesterday. Glenn, Michonne, Rosita, they all went to shut that shit down." Abraham explained, "Daryl wasn't the only one. Geoff went after the Saviors all by himself as well. Duncan, Harold and Sanders went after him to bring him back to his senses and bring him back here."
Tobin stepped closer to the gate, seeing one of the cars from the front was missing, "Where's the other car? We added two more cars yesterday. One of them's missing, the one we put right between those houses."
"You can barely see between the houses from up top, especially at night." Abraham stated.
Trent sighed, "She must have sneaked her way past us."
"The note, can I see it?" Morgan asked as Rick nodded at him and handed him the letter Carol had left.
Rick shifted his gaze between Sasha and Trent as soon as he handed Morgan the letter from Carol, "You never saw any headlights, taillights? She's smart enough to cover her tracks."
"She must've left during the shift change." Sasha stated.
Trent nodded in agreement, "She knows when the shifts change. She must have used it to her advantage."
Rick nodded at them and shifted his gaze to Morgan, seeing him walking over to one of the cars parked next to the wall, "Where are you going?"
"I'm gonna go find her." Morgan revealed his intentions to him.
"Wait." Rick told him to wait for him and shifted his gaze to Chef and Chris as Morgan himself into the car, "Tell Carl I'll be back soon."
Chris nodded at him, "Will do."
"No one else leaves." Rick pushed himself into walk towards the car that Morgan had just gotten himself into, "Everyone else stays ready for a fight."
"Don't worry, RIck." Chef said, "Those bastards won't know what hit them when they will try to attack us."
Rick nodded at him and got himself into the car as Morgan started up the vehicle. Morgan started driving towards the gate as Abraham opened it, allowing him and Rick to leave Alexandria in search of Carol.
Some time had passed since Morgan and Rick left Alexandria together in search of Carol and the two of them were driving along the forested road right now. Their journey to find her went in silence as neither of them have uttered a word to each other since they left Alexandria. The two of them kept their eyes open for any possible leads of Carol's whereabouts or threats for them.
"You didn't have to come." Morgan told Rick, breaking the silence between them.
"We have to try, even if it's a long shot, even if it's dangerous." Rick explained his reasons for joining Morgan, "Tire tracks pointed east... we go east."
"Saviors' compound that you and the group that you went to, that was west. Seems like she went east." Morgan stated.
Rick looked at Morgan questioningly, wondering why he left to go after Carol, "You don't even know Carol."
"Oh, I got to." Morgan replied, "A little."
"Why are you doing this?" Rick wanted to know.
"What I believe, I'm not right. There is no right." Morgan answered, "There's just the wrong that doesn't pull you down."
Rick away from Morgan and looked out of the window, setting his eyes on the walkers in the forest, "It hasn't pulled me down."
"I think it will." Morgan stated, "'Cause I know you."
Rick and Morgan had not exchanged more words with each other since their last conversation as they continued to make their way along the road in search of Carol, having recently driven out of the forested road and driven into the road with a large field surrounding it. The two of them drove along the road for a few moments before something ahead of them caught their attention.
Morgan took his left hand off the steering wheel and pointed at something ahead of them, "There."
"I see it." Rick nodded as Morgan drove closer to what they have just spotted, revealing it to be two abandoned cars with a few bodies laying around them. Morgan parked the car in front of them scene and he and Rick got out of it allowing themselves to take a better look at the scene. It didn't took Rick long to notice one of the two cars was the car which was taken by Carol. He pointed towards it as soon as he laid his eyes on it, "That's her car. You see her?"
"No." Morgan shook his head as Rick one man from the group from the group that must have been attacked by Carol was still alive. He wasted no time and made his way to the wounded man as Morgan followed him.
He crouched down in front of him and grabbed him by his shirt, looking directly into his eyes with a demanding look on his face, "Hey, where is she?"
He didn't receive any answer from the man as the man gurgled in his own blood, making him unable to speak. Rick sighed, knowing this man won't be any use to him and Morgan when it came to finding Carol. He stabbed him in the head, killing him as Morgan walked past him, making his way further down the road. Rick got himself into a standing position and followed him.
He stopped in his tracks right after, having set his eyes on something familiar to him on the ground. He crouched down and picked it up, revealing it to a spear. It was very similiar to the spears he saw back at the Hilltop, "The Saviors were getting weapona from the Hilltop's blacksmith. These men were Saviors."
Morgan nodded at him and once again looked around himself, seeing a walker feasting on a body in front of them. He tightened his grip around his stick and walked over to the walker. The walker looked up at Morgan as Morgan swung his stick at it and hit it in the head, killing it. He walked past the body of the now deceased walker and walked over to the car from Alexandria. He took a good look into it, seeing blood but Carol was still nowhere be to seen.
He turned around to look at Rick and informed him about his observation about this car, "There's blood here. She could've been hit."
Rick nodded at him, keeping a firm grip on the spear he had just found and looked around himself with a proud look on his face. "I'm proud of her."
Morgan looked at him questioningly as he walked over to Rick, "How's that?"
"She took four of them down." Rick explained, "That woman, she's a force of nature."
"She left because she can't anymore. That's what her letter said." Morgan pointed out, reminding Rick of what Carol's letter was saying.
"She could because she had to. Sometimes you have to." Rick stated as he stepped away from Morgan and walked over to the Saviors' car, checking how many guns they had left.
Morgan pointed at the trail of blood on the ground leading towards the field, "There's more blood opposite these men that leads into the field. It's a trail. Could be Carol's. She could still be alive. She's not here."
Rick turned away from the Saviors car and walked back to Morgan, "Most of their guns are gone. She might've taken them."
Morgan nodded in agreement, keeping his eyes on the bloody trail, "Those, too."
Rick sighed, "Or she could've died here, even if she isn't here."
"Trail goes this way." Morgan said as he once again pointed trail of blood before following the trail and walked into the field.
Rick nodded at him as he followed the trail, entering the field, "They were close to Alexandria. There's even more of them. We didn't end it."
"No. You started something." Morgan stated.
The two of them continued to make their way forward themselves in silence, following the blood trail left by Carol. They were unaware they were being watched from the distance. A man in his early 50's with a gunshot wound on his back walked out of the bushes, having been watching their entire talk about Carol for the entire time. The unknown man nodded to himself as he followed Rick and Morgan, intending to find Carol and get revenge on him for killing his friends and almost killing him.
Michonne, Glenn, Rosita, Izzy and Noah got themselves out of the van, having just reached the place Rosita had directed them to. The group of five split up around the face, beginning to look for anything that could have lead them to Daryl's current whereabouts. Izzy and Michonne walked next to each other and spotted two walkers feasting on the death bodies of the people the two of them assumed to be the Saviors from the group which killed Denise.
The two of them exchanged glances with each other, knowing they had to take care of it. Michonne unsheathed her katana as Izzy pulled out her hunting knife, the two of them making their way to the two walkers as Rosita stopped in her tracks and looked down at the trail of blood on the train tracks below her. Glenn and Noah stopped behind her, immediately figuring out this blood must have belonged to Denise.
"That's where she died." Rosita confirmed their theory a few seconds later, her eyes not leaving Denise's blood
"All right, so he had to start from here." Glenn stated as Izzy and Michonne narrowed their eyes at the nearby bushes, something about it having caught their attention and noticed there was something hidden underneath them a second later.
"Good thing you brought us here otherwise we would be walking around in circles like idiots." Noah nodded in agreement as Michonne and Izzy walked over the bushes, wanting to know what was hidden underneath it
Michonne lifted the bushes up, revealing Daryl's motorcycle was hidden underneath them, "He did."
"Which way did Dwight run?" Izzy asked Rosita as Rosita remained silent, her eyes not leaving Denise' blood.
Noah snapped his fingers, trying to gain Rosita's attention, "Rosita? Izzy asked you something. Which was did Dwight run?"
Rosita turned around to look at her group, "We should let him do this."
"What?" Noah asked, looking at Rosita like she was an idiot, "Are you stupid? Don't tell me you think Geoff made the right choices by going after the Saviors who killed Brody as well" Rosita stayed silent, giving him the only answer he needed to get. The bookworm shook his head at her, "We don't even know how many of those assholes is in those woods right now. Do you want Daryl and Geoff to get themselves killed?"
Glenn nodded in agreement, "Daryl doesn't know what he's doing. We don't. Maybe him trying this makes you feel better about it right now. Maybe they keep knowing more about us than we know about them. Or maybe Daryl's gonna get himself killed and so will Geoff if Duncan, Harold and Sanders won't find him, just like Noah just said. Which way did Dwight run?"
Rosita stared at them for a few seconds before pointing in the direction Dwight and his group had fleed yesterday, "There."
"Thank you." Noah said as he turned away from her and pushed himself into walk in the direction Rosita had just pointed towards, "Come on. Let's go find this idiot."
Daryl walked all by himself along the field, keeping his eyes open for any possible tracks that could lead him to Dwight and his group. He looked ahead of himself, having just heard something move in the woods in front of him. He moved in the direction of the noise, convinced it was someone from Dwight's group or even better Dwight himself and aimed his crossbow in the direction of this noise. He fired it right after and the bolt hit the tree.
Rosita pulled the bolt out of the tree and walked into Daryl's view, glaring at him, "Watch the hell out, asshole."
"I did." Daryl replied, taking the bolt from her as Michonne, Glenn, Izzy and Noah followed Rosita and walked into his view. He turned away from them and started to walk away from them, his goal of finding Dwight being the only thing in his mind right now, "You shouldn't have come."
"You shouldn't have left." Michonne replied as she followed Daryl with Rosita, Glenn, Izzy and Noah.
"What made you think leaving Alexandria to go after those assholes all by yourself was a good idea?" Noah asked the Dixon, the tone of his voice showing just how angered he was at Daryl for this stunt.
Daryl stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at his group, "When I split off from Duncan, Sasha, Harold, Sanders and Abraham, he was out there in the woods, in that burned-out forest with them girls, put a gun to my head, tied me up. I even tried to help him.
Glenn stepped closer to him, "So, you think it's your fault?"
"Yeah, I know it is." Daryl replied, looking directly into Glenn's eyes. He turned away from him and started to walk away from him and the rest again, "I'm gonna go do what I should've done before."
"What, for her?" Noah asked, making Daryl stop in his tracks again as he stepped forward and stopped next to Glenn, "She's gone. You're doing this for you."
Daryl shook his head at him, "Man, I don't give a shit."
"Daryl..." Glenn walked over to Daryl and stopped right in front of him, "We need to get back there and figure this out from home. Our home. We need you, and everyone back there needs us right now. It's gonna go wrong out here."
"We'll square it. I will." Michonne added, "I promise you. Just come back."
"We want them to pay for what they did to Denise and Brody as much as you do, but but that's not how you do it." Izzy added her own part as well, "I know how you feel. I was in a similiar place to you after Zeke died. I know just how terrible this feeling is. Come back home with us and we'll take care of the Saviors once the time will come."
Daryl shook his head at them, "I can't."
"Daryl..." Glenn began to say to him.
"Man, I can't!" Daryl cut him off as he turned away from his group and pushed himself into walk, beginning to walk away from them.
Rosita shook her head as she stepped forward from her group and followed Daryl, "I can't either."
Izzy sighed as she followed Rosita and Daryl, "I'll go with them."
Noah looked at her with a suprised look on his face, "What?"
"I hate this as much as you do." Izzy began her answer as she looked over her shoulder at her friend as she saw the worried look he had on his face right now, "But I'm not going to let these two get themselves killed. I'll go with them and make sure they will return to Alexandria alive."
Noah sighed, "Fine. Just watch out for yourself."
"I will." Izzy assured him as he continued to follow Rosita and Daryl, walking closely behind them.
Glenn, Michonne and Noah reluctantly turned away from Daryl, Rosita and Izzy a few seconds later right after the three of them walked out of their view, all of them feeling worried for the three of them. The group of three started to walk in the opposite direction than Izzy, Rosita and Daryl, beginning to make their way back towards the train tracks where they left their van.
A few minutes had passed since Glenn, Michonne and Noah parted ways with Daryl, Rosita and Izzy and started to make their way back to the van. Everyone in the group were silent as everyone allowed to get themselves lost in their thoughts regarding their current situation and the Saviors. The three of them stopped for a second to catch a breath a few seconds later after reaching a small creek in the middle of the forest.
"Do you think those assholes tried to attack Alexandria after we left to find Daryl?" Noah asked, breaking the silence between them.
"If they are, they're dead." Michonne stated.
"I hope not." Glenn replied to Michonne's statement, "We need them alive. We need to find out more."
"Yeah. We do." Noah nodded in agreement, "We thought we finished all of them off back when we attacked them. We were wrong. There must be far more of them out there."
"We just got stuck with each other. We were lucky. We figured it all out together." Glenn stated as Michonne and Noah listened to what he had to say to them, "It felt like we did. After everything, we did." He shook his head, "The world's not what we thought it was. Hilltop, the Saviors, it's bigger."
It was when a whistle echoed in the distance, making them end their conversation. Glenn, Michonne and Noah immediately looked in the direction this whistle came from and aimed their guns in this direction. It was when a single man left his hiding spot behind a tree. He wasn't the only one, though. More whistles echoed across the area as another man came out from his hiding spot behind some other three. He was followed by another one and another one. It was just a matter of seconds before Glenn, Michonne and Noah found themselves surrounded by a group of people who had their guns aimed at them.
Dwight was among those people. He leaned out of his cover behind a tree and aimed his pistol at them, "Hi."
Some time had passed since Rick and Morgan left the road and started walking ahead of themselves across the fields in search of Carol. The two of them walked side by side as they continued to follow the blood tracks left by Carol ever since they left the road as they only found more of them after leaving their car behind on the road, meaning Carol had not patched herself up and was still bleeding, whenever she was right now. They stopped in their tracks for a second, having just come across another bloody trail.
Morgan looked down at the bloody trail below him to get a better look at it, "It's not much. But if it's Carol's, then she's been bleeding for a while." Rick nodded at him. The two of them pushed themselves into walk again right after, "So, you out here because Carol is your friend?"
"I'm out here 'cause she's my family." Rick replied.
"I've talked to people back there. I found out about what happened at the prison. How you and Chef sent her away." Morgan brought up the matter of the situation when Carol killed Karen and David back in the prison, "She killed two of your people, right? Burned their bodies. What if that had happened today? Would you kill her?"
"If it happened today, I'd thank her and I'm sure Chef would do the same." Rick gave him an honest answer, "Or I would've killed them myself. She was right to do it. They were sick, spreading a disease. They weren't gonna make it."
"Yeah, but this was back then and you didn't kill her." Morgan pointed out, "You and Chef sent her away, Rick, and she came back. And she came back and she saved all y'all. People can come back, Rick.
The two of them continued to make their way forward themselves, making sure to follow the bloody tracks just like they did since they left the road. They started making their way up the hill and noticed a barn which was surrounded by a wooden fence on the top o fit. The group of two didn't focus their attention on the barn, though. They focused their attention on the lone walker which was making it's way up the hill. They pushed themselves into run, approaching the walker as the walked turned around to face them, revealing itself to not be Carol.
"It's not her." Rick told Morgan as Morgan swung his stick at the walker, knocking it down to the ground. He crouched down in front of the walker and stabbed it in the head with the spear he found on the road, killing it.
Morgan looked down at the walker, seeing the state it was in, "She couldn't have been dead more than a day."
Rick nodded in agreement as he got up from his crouching position. He and Morgan pushed themselves into the run towards the barn, reaching the fence a few seconds later. They climbed over the fence, finding themselves on the other side of it. As soon as they found themselves on the other side of it, they saw two men fighting killing a walker. The two men were wearing armor and were wielding spears. One of them was a ginger haired man in his mid 30's and the other one was a black skinned man in his mid 20's who was very tall and very muscular.
"Hey!" Rick called out for them as he aimed his Python at them.
The ginger haired man immediately ran out of Rick and Morgan's view, taking shelter inside the barn, "Whoa, whoa! It's okay. I'm not trouble and neither is my friend."
"What he said." His friend nodded as he quickly followed his friend and his inside the barn, "We don't want any trouble."
"Come out, drop your weapon." Rick ordered, hearing how one of the two men closed the door to the barn.
"We can't do that. The wasted are too close." The black skinned man replied, staying hidden inside the barn, "We're just looking for our horses. Have you seen them?"
"No." Morgan replied, keeping himself on guard as he stood behind Rick, "We're looking for our friend. Have you seen her?"
"Have you seen her?" Rick repeated Morgan's question as a few walkers walked into their view, making their way towards the barn.
"They're here, Daniel!" The black skinned man informed his friend about the walkers arriving, knowing he and his friend won't be able to fight them as they left their spears outside.
"Just go! Just go!" The ginger haired man now named Daniel shouted to Morgan and Rick as the walkers started making their way towards Rick and Morgan, walking past the barn as they were unaware someone was hiding there.
Rick and Morgan readied themselves to take out the walkers as Daniel and his friend ran out of the barn a few seconds later after making sure all of the walkers were in safe distance away from them. Rick immediately aimed his Python at the two men, intending to take them out as Morgan immediately saw this and took action. He pushed Rick to the side just as Rick pulled the trigger at the armor wearing men.
The bullet didn't hit either of those men and instead hit one of the walkers walking towards them in the shoulder. Rick and Morgan took their attention off of the two armor wearing men, allowing them to get away as the walkers were already close enough to them. Morgan swung his stick at the walker in front of him, stabbing it throught the head with it as Rick swung the spear from the road at the nearest walker, stabbing it right through the brain with it.
Morgan swung his stick at another walker, knocking it to the ground and finished it off by stabbing it in the head. It was when a walker approached him from behind. The walker shoved itself at him, taking him by suprise as Rick immediately came in his rescue. He dropped the spear to the ground and pulled out his knife, using it to stab the walker through the back of it's head.
Morgan took a few steps forward as soon as he was freed from the walker's grasp by Rick as Rick looked around himself, seeing all of the walkers from this place were dead now. The black skinned man turned around to look at his old friend, seeing the look he was giving him right now as Rick walked over to the two spears left behind by the armored men.
"Rick." Morgan called out to Rick as he followed him, "We didn't know who they were."
Rick picked up one of the spears and took a better look at it, "Yeah, it's one of the Hilltop's. Like the one on the road. Maybe they're one of them. Maybe they're looking for Carol, too."
"Maybe they were just looking for their horses." Morgan argued, "Maybe they are from Hilltop. Maybe they're from somewhere else."
"I don't take chances anymore." Rick reminded Morgan the words he told him shorty after Aaron, Brick, Daryl and Duncan brought him to Alexandria.
Morgan silently stared at Rick, debating with himself if he should tell him about something he was hiding for the last month or not. He nodded his head to himself a few seconds later, having made his choice to tell him about it, "Those people... the Wolves... after they attacked, I found one of them. He had attacked me on the road before, when I was trying to find you. And I stopped him. But I let him live. And then he was there in Alexandria after the attack, hiding in one of the brownstones, so I stopped him again. I knocked him out and I could have killed him. But all life is precious. Put him in the cell of the brownstone basement. 'Cause I knew he could change. We all can change."
Rick took one step towards Morgan, wanting to make sure if he heard him correctly as he knew this would mean Morgan put their community in danger by keeping one of the Wolves alive in their community, "You had one of them alive in the community?"
"Yeah." Morgan nodded in confirmation and continued to reveal more to Rick about this situation, showing him why he kept believing in his ideology of not killing other people, even if those people were killers, "And when the walls came down and the walkers broke in, Carol found out. We fought and that man escaped, and Denise... she had come to the cell to try and help him and he took her hostage. And then she and that Wolf, they got swarmed, and that man, that killer, he saved her life. And then Denise was there to save Carl. It's all a circle. Everything gets a return. But the fact is the fact. I did what I did. I let him live." He took one step closer to Rick as Rick continued to listen to him with a thoughtful look ok his face, "You go home, Rick. You take the car. You're needed back there. You shouldn't be out here taking any more chances.
"I'm not leaving." Rick replied, pushing himself out of his silent state, "Carol's still out here."
"And I will find her. You go." Morgan assured his old friend and turned away from him, beginning to walk away from him.
"You're coming back?" Rick asked him.
Morgan stopped in his tracks and turned around to look at him again. He nodded at him, "Yeah. But if I don't, don't come looking."
Rick nodded at him and pulled out the pistol he found back on the road, holding it out to him, "Take it."
Morgan shook his head, "No, I..."
"Take it." Rick insisted as Morgan saw the worry his old friend had in his eyes for him right now. He reluctantly as Rick called out for him again, having something he wanted to tell him about, "Morgan? Michonne did steal that protein bar."
"Oh, I know." Morgan nodded at him with a smile on his face as Rick smiled back at him. The two old friends parted ways with each other right after and started to walk away from each other in the opposite directions, with Rick making sure to pick up the spear he had found on the road.
The main gate to Alexandria was opened by Abraham and Chef as Rick drove his car into his community. He turned off the engine and got himself out of the vehicle, intending to inform Chef and Abraham about Carol still being missing as Abraham and Chef closed the gate and turned around to look at him, showing Rick both of them were smoking cigars right now.
"Morgan's still out there looking." He told them as Chef and Abraham nodded in understanding, "Is Michonne here?"
"She's still out there, too." Abraham replied as Rick walked over to him and Chef and stopped next to him..
"The same goes for Duncan, Harold and Sanders." Chef added as Rick nodded in understanding.
Abraham blew some smoke out of his mouth as he looked at Rick with a questioning look on his face, "You afraid... to go back to it? Let somebody close?"
"Yeah." Rick nodded in confirmation and shifted his gaze between Chef and Abraham, "What about you two?"
"Me too." Chef gave him an honest answer, "One of the reasons why I stopped looking for a relationship a long time ago and I don't think I will go back to looking for someone anytime soon."
"Well, that's three of us. But now, I think I'm that much more ready to tear the world a brand-new asshole." Abraham replied, getting a chuckle out himself, Chef and Rick.
Bridgette and Leshawna were sitting on the steps of the clinic, looking ahead of themselves as Leshawna was doing everything in her power to comfort Bridgette and make her less worried about Geoff, trying to reassure her Duncan, Harold and Sanders will find him before he will get himself hurt at the hands of the Saviors and will convince him to return to Alexandria.
"Hey." A voice called out for them. Bridgette and Leshawna looked over to the source of it and saw Carl standing in front of them, "Mind if I sit down next you."
"Do you really need to ask, sugar?" Leshawna asked him, "Of course you can."
Bridgette nodded in agreement, "Go ahead, Carl."
"Thanks." Carl nodded at them and sat down next to Leshawna. He looked at Bridgette questioningly right after, "How are you doing, Bridgette?"
"I'm worried." Bridgette replied, "I just want him to come back safely."
Carl nodded at her answer and looked at her with a worried look on his face, "Don't worry. I'm sure he'll be fine. I'm sure Duncan, Sanders and Harold will find him and bring him back here as soon as possible."
Leshawna nodded in agreement, "That's what I was telling her since they left to find Geoff, sugar."
Bridgette looked at Carl with a grateful look on his face, appreciating his words of comfort as she saw him holding a pistol in his right hand. He pointed at it, trying to change the subject of the conversation in order to take her mind off Geoff for a second, "New gun? I haven't seen you use it before."
"Yeah. I found it in the armory in the morning. Our group found it when we attacked the Saviors." Carl nodded in confirmation, making sure to let them know where he got it from and showed his new pistol off to Bridgette and Leshawna. It was when Leshawna and Bridgette noticed something scraped out on the grip of the pistol. It appeared to be a baseball with a barbed wire wrapped around it.
"Guys!" Enid's panicked voice sounded through their ears before either Bridgette or Leshawna could make a comment about the grip. They looked over to the source of her voice and saw Enid running towards them with panic evident on her voice. She stopped in front of them, panting heavily.
Bridgette looked at her with a worried look on her face, "What's wrong, Enid?"
"It's Maggie." Enid replied, "Something happened to her. After I did her haircuit, she just collapsed on the floor and started holding her stomach in pain. She told me to come get you?"
Bridgette gasped in shock, the worst possible scenario flying through her mind, "Her stomach is in pain?"
Leshawna looked at Bridgette with a worried look on her face, "It can't be the baby, right?"
"I don't know, yet. I hope not." Bridgette replied as she quickly got up from the stairs and looked at Enid with a worried look on her face, "Take me to Maggie, Enid. Right now."
Enid nodded as she turned away from her and pushed herself into run. Bridgette quickly followed Enid, wanting to check what was wrong with Maggie as soon as possible. Leshawna and Carl wasted no time and quickly jumped to their feet, beginning to follow Bridgette and Enid.
After going through the forest in search of the tracks that could have been left behind by Dwight's group, Daryl, Rosita and Izzy finally got lucky in their search and found some fresh tracks they were certain didn't belong to the walkers or to someone from their group. The group of three wasted no time and started following the tracks as soon as they found them.
The tracks took them to a small camp in the middle of the forest where they saw a few unknown people gathered around campfire. The three of them continued to look around the camp as they continued to approach it, making sure to be quiet as they didn't want to alert the Saviors. It didn't took them long to notice something else about this camp as they neared it.
It was when they saw Michonne, Glenn and Noah sitting on the ground, all of them bounded and gagged as they were captured by the Saviors after parting ways with the three of them. Daryl slowly leaned out of his cover, revealing himself to Michonne, Glenn and Noah who noticed him instantly and was followed by Rosita and Izzy, the three of them letting their group know they were coming to their rescue.
Michonne, Glenn and Noah started shaking their heads at their group as soon as they laid their eyes on them, trying to tell them something as Daryl, Izzy and Rosita aimed their guns towards the camp, readying himself to charge in. Noah and Glenn opened their mouths as soon as they saw them prepare themselves to come to their rescue, trying to scream a warning to Daryl, Rosita and Izzy. Not a single word left their mouths, though because their gags did their jobs and prevented them from saying anything.
"Hi Daryl." It was when Dwight's voice sounded behind Daryl, Rosita and Izzy. Daryl, Rosita and Izzy were taken by suprise by it as Dwight and two other men sneaked up to them from behind and held their guns against their backs. Daryl, Rosita and Izzy put down their guns a second alter, knowing they had no other choice in this situation as Dwight pulled the trigger of his pistol. The bullet hit Daryl in the shoulder, knocking him to the ground as blood splattered everywhere...
Duncan, Harold and Sanders had no idea how much time had passed since they left Alexandria with the intention of finding Geoff and bringing him back to Alexandria before he will get himself either captured or killed by the Saviors. The three of them have already arrived at the area where Alvin's group attacked Duncan, Harold, Geoff and Brody yesterday and killed Brody.
They knew their search wasn't going to end soon, though even after they arrived at this area as Geoff was still nowhere to be found. Fortunely, Lady Luck seemed to smile down upon them a few minutes later as Duncan managed to stumble upon Geoff's tracks, putting the skills he learned from Daryl to good use. What made everything better about those tracks was the fact they were fresh, meaning Geoff must have been here not so long ago.
The tracks were leading right into the forest, in the direction Alvin and his group had fleed into after Izzy and Noah ambushed them. Duncan, Sanders and Harold exchanged glances with each other after seeing where those tracks were leading them and stepped into the forest, knowing the risk they were getting themselves into by stepping into the forest as they knew Alvin and his group could have ambushed them every second.
They didn't care about the risk and the high possibility of Alvin ambushing them again, though as they knew what they were getting themselves into when they left Alexandria in search of Geoff. They promised Bridgette that they will bring Geoff back to her and make him come back to his senses before he will get himself killed by the Saviors and they were going to keep their word.
Duncan, Sanders and Harold continued to follow the tracks Geoff had left, with Duncan walking in front of the group of three and Sanders and Harold keeping their eyes open for either Geoff or the possible threats. Duncan nodded his head, seeing how the tracks were getting fresher with each passing second and made sure to inform Sanders and Harold about it. Sanders and Harold nodded in understanding at the information, knowing it must have meant they were getting close to finding Geoff.
They found the person they were looking for a few minutes later as they saw Geoff walking forward himself with his machine gun in ready. The three of them quickly started to make their way towards him as Geoff turned around in their direction, having been alerted by their running. He aimed his gun at them, excepting to see either a walker or someone from Alvin's group.
He lowered his gun as soon as he saw three familiar faces running towards him, "What are you doing here?"
"We came here to get you." Sanders explained as she stopped in front of him, "Bridgette showed us your letter."
Geoff sighed, knowing how worried about him Bridgette must have been right now, "Bridge..."
"What the hell were you thinking, man?" Duncan asked, making sure to let his friend known how stupid this stunt was, "Do you realize how fucking stupid it was to go after Alvin and his goons alone? You could have gotten yourself captured or even worse killed!"
"Do you think I don't know what?" Geoff replied with a question of his own, "Why do you think I left all by himself instead of taking anyone with me?"
"What about you?" Sanders asked, "What if you'll get hurt? Do you think your life doesn't matter or something? What about Bridgette? Do you realize how worried she is about you right now with the stunt you just pulled out? You shouldn't be putting her through so much stress right now. How do you think she would react if he learned you were captured or killed?"
Geoff clenched his teeth, feeling a wave of guilt go through his body at the thought of how Bridgette was feeling right now, "I know how worried she must be right now..."
"If you know that, then why did you still do it?" Duncan cut him with a questioning look on his face.
"Because I didn't want to risk anyone else getting hurt because of me again!" Geoff expressed the guilt he felt because of Brody's death, raising his voice at them as Duncan, Harold and Sanders were taken by suprise by him snapping at them.
Harold took one step towards Geoff with a gentle look on his face, having realized why Geoff went after Alvin all by himself, "Geoff. What happened to Brody was not your fault."
"It was." Geoff replied, feeling tears forming in his eyes as he let out what he was keeping buried in his chest since yestearday, "Brody died because of me! He died because I asked him to join me on the supply run yesterday! If I didn't ask him to join me on the supply run yesterday, then he wouldn't get shot in the head by someone from Alvin's group! If I didn't ask him to join me, then he would still be alive! I wanted him to be my kid's godfather and he died because of me seconds after I broke the news to him!"
Sanders and Duncan exchanged saddenned glances with each other as they continued to listen how Geoff voiced his guilt to them, now understanding why Geoff did what he did. He did it because he felt guilty for the death of his close friend and the guilt was eating him from the inside. It was when they felt the action they felt towards him, because of his stunt faded away and was replaced with sympathy. They knew it still didn't excuse this stunt, though.
"Geoff." Harold called out to his friend in a gentle tone, knowing he had to pick words very carefully, because of the state he was in, "What happened to Brody was not your fault. You could have known what would happen to Brody. You just wanted him to accompany you to find the perfect ring for Bridgette and he happily agreed to do it, because you were his friend and he was more than glad to help you. What happened to him was not your fault. I'm sure he would tell you the same thing if he could."
"How can you know what he would say to me right now? He's dead." Geoff pointed out, tears now visible in his eyes.
"Because I'm sure he wouldn't want you blame yourself for his death. Brody was your friend Geoff and I'm certain he wouldn't want you to put your life at risk because of his death, just like you're doing right now." Harold pointed out in return, "I know his dead was hard for you Geoff. It was hard for me as well, just like every death of someone from our group is. I may have not known him as well you did, but he was still a member of our community. I understand you want to make sure people responsible for his death pay, but it isn't the time right now."
"He's right, man." Duncan nodded in agreement, "Don't let what happened with Brody get yourself killed. This isn't what he would want you to do."
"Come back to Alexandria with us." Sanders added, "Come back to Bridgette and to your unborn child. Bridgette needs you right now. She needs to be there for her. She is already dealing with enough stress because of what happened with Denise and Brody. Don't make her feel worse than she already does."
Geoff stared at them for a few seconds, blinking away the tears which had formed in his eyes and nodded his head at them, "Okay. I'll come back with you."
"Good." Harold smiled at him, satisfied with his answer.
Geoff looked at them with an apologetic look on his face, now feeling guilty because of something else, "I'm sorry for doing this guys. I don't know what I was thinking."
"You shouldn't be apologizing to us." Sanders pointed out.
"I know. This is exactly what I'll do once we'll return to Alexandria." Geoff nodded. He shifted his gaze to Harold and looked at him with a grateful look on his face, "Thanks for putting some sense into me, dude."
"Don't mention it. This is what friends are fo..." Harold didn't got a chance to finish what he was saying as a bullet penetrated the back of his skull, killing him instantly.
Geoff, Sanders and Duncan felt how the time around them slowed down when a bullet hit Harold in the back of his head and flew through his forehead, causing blood to splatter everywhere. A shot rang out in the woods behind them when it happened. Harold's suprised expression was the last thing they saw before their friend collapsed on the ground with a bullet hole in his forehead, dead.
Duncan and Geoff looked at Harold's lifeless body with disbelief written all over their faces. Neither of them could believe it. They were experiencing it again. Another close friend of theirs had died right in front of them and they were unable to stop it from happening. It was just like in the prison when DJ received a bullet to the head from Jose and they couldn't do nothing but watch it happen right in from of them back when the Governor and Jose attacked the prison.
Geoff couldn't take his eyes off of Harold's body as he felt various emotions going through his body right now. One emotion stood out among those emotions. That emotion was guilt. All of the feelings he had pushed away thanks to Harold had returned to him in an instant. The party animal clenched his hand, feeling a wave of guilt go through his body as he knew Harold's dead was his fault. If he hadn't acted like an idiot and left Alexandria to go after Alvin all by himself. Now he knew he had blood of two of his close friends on his hands.
His pushed himself out his thoughts of guilt when he heard a group of people step towards him, Duncan and Sanders. It was when all three of them were surrounded by a group of at least twenty people. Everyone in the group of the Saviors wasted no time and aimed their guns at them, letting them know they shouldn't do anything funny otherwise they will share Harold's unfortunate fate and will end up lying on the ground with bullet holes all over their bodies.
It didn't took Geoff and Duncan long to notice some familiar faces among the group that just surrounded them. They saw Kenneth and Amy standing next to each other, both of them aiming their guns at them. Alvin himself made himself known a few seconds later, stopping between the two of them. The one handed man was holding his smoking UZI in his good hand, revealing himself to be the one who ended up Harold's life. Geoff felt how his emotion of guilt was quickly overshadowed by another emotion once he laid his eyes on Alvin. An emotion of anger.
"Heh." An amused laugh escaped Alvin's lips, his differently colored eyes set on Harold's lifeless body. He licked his lips with a sadistic grin on his face as he couldn't take his attention off of Harold's body. It was the sight he was looking forward to see for the last month and he was going to make sure he enjoyed every second of this moment, "What a great friendship. He really thought it would be good to start a motivational speech in the middle of the forest just to comfort his buddy, especially after all the screaming your group did? He must have known it would make him a perfect target, right? I ain't going to complain about it, though. I did tell him I will put a bullet through his head when he left me to fight off the walkers after killing my Manny."
Geoff glared at Alvin, fighting an urge of rushing towards him and making sure he paid for everything he did, "You bastard!"
Alvin shook his head, aiming his UZI at them as he saw how Geoff was seconds away from charging at him, "Don't even think about it. You have over twenty people surrounding you. Twenty. Surrender now or you'll join your friend on the ground."
It was when something echoed behind them. An unknown person came out of the bushes behind them and started approaching them, whistling a haunting melody while doing so. Duncan's eyes snapped open in shock when he heard this melody, having immediately recognized it from a certain place from his past. He'd recognize this particular melody everywhere. He got a chance to hear it so many times in the juvie.
He quickly titled his head towards the melody, hoping it wasn't the person he was thinking about right now, "...I know that tune!"
His worries were quickly confirmed when the unknown person walked past him, Sanders and Geoff and stopped in front of them, now standing between Amy and Alvin. Duncan shook his head as soon as this this person made themselves present in front of them, instantly recognizing it as someone from his past in the juvie and someone he wished he would never see again. It was Mal. The person that the entire juvenile hall was afraid of was standing in front of him.
"I'll be dammed. What do we have here?" Mal grinned as soon as he laid his eyes on Duncan, having immediately recognized him from the juvie as he was wielding an AK15 in his hands, "A punk with a mohawk from the juvie. To be honest I didn't think I would see you again. At this point of this entire mess I was certain everyone else from the juvie would be dead by now. You do remember me, right?"
Duncan glared at him, his voice being filled with disgust as he spoke up to him, "Yeah. I remember you. Mal."
Geoff's eyes snapped open the moment Duncan uttered this name as he realized who the person standing in front of him, Sanders and Duncan was, the person that murdered Brody in cold blood and was partially responsble for the death of Harold. It was Mal. Duncan would talk about him him from time to time whenever he mentioned his time in the juvie. Sanders looked Duncan with a suprised look on her face as she unlike Geoff didn't have a chance to hear any of her boyfriends stories from his time in the juvie.
"So you do remember me. You can consider me flattered." Mal said, his grin not leaving his face. In fact, it only grew bigger, "You know I stumbled across one of your friends shorty after all of this started. You remember Chad, right?" Duncan's eyes widened upon hearing Mal mention one of his friends from the juvie, "He was hanging out with some biker gang and they were stupid enough to think messing with me and stealing from me was a good idea even after Chad told them it would be a bad idea. It ended up badly for each one of them to say the least."
"What should we do with them, sir?" Kenneth asked.
"Take their weapons away." Mal replied, "We can't risk them doing anything funny once they'll see an opportunity."
Kenneth nodded at him and shifted his gaze to two people, "Poe. Veronica. Take their weapons away."
"On it/Of course." Poe and Veronica replied and immediately did as they were told. They walked over to Geoff, Duncan and Sanders and disarmed them. The two of them made sure to take every weapon Geoff, Duncan and Sanders had with them, including Geoff's machete and Duncan's bow.
Mal nodded to himself as Veronica and Poe stepped away from now weaponless Geoff, Duncan and Sanders. He shfited his gaze to a young man who was glaring at Geoff, Duncan and Sanders with murderous intention in his eyes, "Tyson. Go call Wade and tell him to bring us a truck. Tell him we found a few people for the show our boss will be throwing for Alexandria."
"I'm on it." Tyson voiced his understanding of the order, pulling out his walkie-talkie as he turned away from Geoff, Duncan and Sanders, making sure to give more one more glare as he did so. He lifted his walkie-talkie up to his mouth and clicked on it, beginning to call out for Wade once he was out of the hearing range of everyone else.
Mal shifted his gaze between Geoff, Duncan and Sanders and saw how Geoff was still looking at Harold's body out of the corner of his eye, "What? Still can't stop thinking about your pal? Personally I would leave him alive for the show you and your group are about to witness as I already killed your other friend the other day." Geoff's eyes widened at this information, realizing Mal must been the person who put a bullet through Brody's head, "But Alvin's already been promised he'll be able to kill the prick who killed his boyfriend on the first opportunity he'll get and it seems like he got what he wanted."
"You killed Brody." Geoff glared at Mal angrily, "And now your friend killed Harold. You won't get away with this. You're going to pay for their deaths."
"I would watch my mouth if I were you." Mal replied to Geoff's threat, more annoyed and amused than scared by it, "In case you haven't noticed, yet, you ain't in the position to make threats."
"Pay for their deaths?" Amy scoffed in disgust with an angered look on her face, "It is still nothing compared to how many people we lost because of your group. You should be grateful we didn't kill you where you stand right now."
"What are you going to do now? Are you going to kill us?" Sanders asked with fear evident in her voice and on her face.
"Kill you?" Mal let out a sinister laugh as if he was looking forward to what was in store for Duncan, Sanders and Geoff, "Haven't you heard what Amy just said? Are you deaf or something? Why should I do that now? A good friend of mine has something planned for you and your friends and I'll be more than happy you have the three of you there to witness it."
"Same here, boss." Alvin nodded in agreement with a sadistic grin growing on his face, "I'm going to enjoy every second of the show."
"I can bet Tyson will enjoy this show as well." Kenneth stated, "Poor guy was right there when those bastards and their group sneaked into one of outposts in the middle of the night and killed everyone in their sleep."
"Mal." Tyson called out for Mal as he walked over to Mal, having just made his way back to his group "I just talked with Wade. He already sent a truck in our way. They should be here in several minutes."
"Alright. We should get everything ready for their arrival." Mal nodded at the information and shifted his gaze from Duncan, Geoff and Sanders to Alvin, Amy and Kenneth, "Amy. Alvin. Kenneth. You know what to do."
The last thing Duncan, Sanders and Geoff saw before they were knocked out were Amy, Kenneth and Alvin swinging the back of their weapons at them. The three of them landed on the ground next to Harold's body, their faces facing the dirt as they were left unconscious...
I think we all know who will be introduced in the next chapter. The next chapter should be out before the end of this month (I can already say it will be the longest chapter in this story), especially with the third birthday of this story nearing with big steps, unless somethimg improtant will came up and I won't be able to sit down and write it.
You guys have no idea how much I'm going to miss having Harold in this story. He was one of the first Total Drama characters who started to make themselves known in Rick's group and I had tons of fun writing his character...
After being mentioned in this story a few times from time to time to his group by Duncan and after being hinted by his subordinates a few chapters ago when Duncan got split up from his group after they were attacked by the Saviors, Mal has already made his appearance in this story. Even though most of you have already figured out him being a high ranking member of the Saviors, I hope you liked the introduction of our next Total Drama antagonist in this story :)
Hope it wasn't so bad. See you in another chapter.
