I finally got this one shot ready to publish. It isn't great, but I hope you guys enjoy it either way. Just one possible way that a confrontation would go if everyone figured out the truth.

"Headmaster Grimm, do I really have to be here?" Apple shifted nervously within the dark room, avoiding looking at the mirror holding the Evil Queen. She wasn't sure what this was even for, the headmaster having dragged her here. "I'm pretty sure I'm not allowed her. My mom certainly wouldn't allow it."

"We need to have someone convince Raven to go to the evil side, and so far, nothing else has cut it." Milton grumbled, glaring down at the mirror with wholehearted contempt. "I don't like this anymore than you do, but sometimes you have to work with the worst to get the best outcome."

"Milton, I can hear you. I'm imprisoned, not deaf." The Evil Queen, otherwise known as Regina, raised an eyebrow as she looked over the two. "I believe you've put on a little more weight since I've last saw you. Nice to meet you too, Little Fruit. Didn't realize I'd get you as a visitor today."

"I didn't exactly come here willingly. I would like to point that out first." Apple may want Raven to be evil and poison her, she didn't exactly want to deal with a war criminal for it. "This was all Milton's idea."

"Indeed. I think you know why we're here." Milton leaned forward to look the woman in the eye. "Your daughter has been causing me quite a bit of trouble for me, and not in the way that counts. We need your help in convincing her to go the right path to… troublemaking."

"I think you're losing your point there, headmaster." Regina rolled her eyes, smirking as she simply shrugged. "And really, can you expect any different? She had her poor mother taken from her at a young age."

"For war crimes. She was arrested for war crimes." Milton growled in frustration, running a hand down his face. "I'm being serious here, Regina. We need your help in convincing her, otherwise any trace of your story will cease to exist. Could you, I don't know, talk to her a little bit?"

"I don't think you'd be able to actually get her in here, to be honest." Apple mumbled, fumbling with her hair to keep herself calm. It wasn't working, and it was only making her hair messy, and just stressing her out even more. "She isn't just going to come waltzing in here and-"

A loud bang could be heard in the building, cutting her off. The three looked at the door leading to the corridor as a few more loud noises came down it, along with… shouting?

The door flew off its hinges, quite literally falling to the floor, revealing a very angry looking Raven. It was honestly a bit frightening, seeing her hands lit up and ready to turn whoever got in her way into a pile of ashes. She slowly walked forward, murder in her eyes.

"-walk right in and do that." Apple regretted ever getting out of her room today. Maybe calling in sick was the better idea. "Raven, hey! How's it going? Did you happen to get a haircut? It looks good!"

"Apple, I'm really not in the mood for…" Raven paused for a second, giving the blonde a confused look. "Wait, what are you doing here? Oh, hey Headmaster Grimm."

"Sweetie! It's been too long!" Regina switched up her tune at her daughter's appearance, waving happily. It would've sounded doting and kind if it wasn't for her history. "I was wondering when you would visit. Is your father doing okay without me?"

"He's doing a lot better, honestly- no, wait, I'm supposed to be angry at you!" Raven pointed an accusing finger at her mother, scowling. "Do you have any idea what you've done?!"

"…honey, you're going to have to be more specific. I've done quite a few things worth being horrified about." Regina screwed up her face, counting on her fingers. "There was cursing Wonderland, conquering several magical kingdoms, stealing candy from orphans, and just generally everything under the sun."

"No, not any of that. I'm talking about something you did before I was even born." Raven paused, realizing what he mother just said. "Really? Stealing from orphans? Did you just have a bucket list?"

"Ahem!" Milton let out a breath, keeping his temper under control. He glared down at the girl, feeling a headache coming on. "I appreciate that you're showing initiative and breaking into something for once in your life, but this isn't a great time."

"I have to air some grievances with my mom. I'd appreciate if you left and let our family dispute lie in peace." Raven gave a look towards Apple, eyebrows raised. "This is an attempt to make me evil, isn't it?"

"It wasn't my idea. I just thought he wanted me to help with another club." Apple was just as tired as she was. "Though, he does have a point. What is it that you're angry about this time?"

Raven pulled out her phone, showing one of Blondie's newscasts. She handed it off to her roommate before turning back to look at her mother in the eye. "Now, back to the matter at hand. Mom, do you remember before you got married to dad?"

"Oh, right. The good times. How I miss those." Regina sighed wistfully. She wondered if she ever got out if she could find some of her old haunts. "I'll admit to a few affairs, but I was always upfront with that. Our marriage was always open."

"I didn't need to hear that. This was supposed to be a work visit." Milton wanted to leave. Why did this have to happen when he was busy? "I really don't need to know what happened in your household, you know."

"Too bad, you're going to unless you get out of here. And yeah, I know you two weren't serious about each other." Raven wasn't sure how to best put this, snapping her fingers as she thought of something. "You know that gender bend spell you made up so you can get into places you were banned from."

"Yes. I usually got banned again shortly after, but it was worth it since I usually burned them down for doing it once." Regina leaned close to her daughter, not caring that it didn't change how much her voice was heard from the mirror. "Not to mention I got to play both sides whenever I wanted."

"Gross." Raven forced the image of that out of her mind as soon as it entered. That trauma could wait later. "As it turns out-"

"What?!"

Raven threw her hands up in frustration. She gave Apple a raised eyebrow as her friend had a mini-panic attack as she must've finished watching the video.

"This is some kind of prank, right?" Apple put the phone in Raven's face, the other girl only blankly looking at her roommate. "Eddy is just trying to mess with people. He has to be."

"...You know what? Things will only get done if I do this." Raven turned on her magic, flitting her hands about before pointing them at the floor. "I hope he's ready for this."

There was a flash and yell as Eddy appeared, falling face down onto the castle floor. He groaned, getting up and quickly taking in his surroundings before catching sight of Raven.

"Ray! Jeeze, we've all been looking for you after class let out. Is this where you've been?" Eddy saw Apple, Milton, and Regina, pausing as he noted their confused stares. "...Oh. Suddenly I really don't want to be here."

"I don't want you here either, but apparently you're needed, judging by Ms. Queen's reaction." Milton pinched the bridge of his nose again, sighing once more. "Is there any particular reason why my students are reacting like you've set off a bomb in my school?"

"I would, but I have an excuse that I need to go make-up." Eddy started walking off, giving a nervous wave toward the Evil Queen. "It was nice meeting you too, Mrs. Queen, but I think maybe I should-"

"Nope. We're talking about this right now, otherwise we'll never get any closure." Raven pulled Eddy back with her magic, putting him down in front of the mirror. "Now, talk. She's in the mirror, so she can't hurt anyone."

"There's no proof of that."

"Mom!"

"Okay, okay, fine! I'll get on with it. Not how I wanted to spend my Friday, at all…" Eddy rolled his eyes, giving Regina a small glare. "So, how much has Ray caught you up on?"

"She was asking me about my extra-marital affairs and how I used a genderbending spell. Not sure how this relates, but it is nice to know my little Raven has friends." She smiled. "Though, I'd appreciate getting on with it. Magical glass is still glass, young man."

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you say you edge lord." Eddy rolled his eyes, ignoring Regina narrowing her eyes at him. It wasn't like she wouldn't want to kill him anyway after this. "Was one of those times you were experimenting include when you stopped in a town called Peach Creek?"

There was a pause as she actually thought it over. The name did sound familiar.

"I think I did, actually. It was probably two months before my wedding to Raven's father. Met a nice woman up there who complained a lot about her and her husband's money troubles." Regina snorted. She hadn't remembered much about that night, but it had been fun at least. "I wonder if they're still married. Can't really look it up since, well, I'm in prison."

"I can actually confirm that." Eddy smirked at her dumbfounded face. "Though, that depends on one thing; did the woman have the last name Williams by any chance."

The question again caused Regina to pause. That name did sound familiar, and now that she gave him a second glance, he didn't seem that much of a stranger now. She could honestly argue she'd seen that nose and those eyes on another person...

"No." Regina shook her head, realizing it then. "You can't be serious."

"We're as serious as a heart attack." Raven put her hands on her hips, tapping her foot on the ground. "Anything to say? I'd like to hear some kind of explanation for this."

"But-but the spell isn't supposed to work like that! I would've known if something like that worked since I made it up." Regina actually looked panicked. It was a rare (and to Eddy, funny) sight that came once in a millennium. "I usually did use protection, but even if I didn't, it shouldn't be possible to fully do that."

"The problem with that assumption lies in the fact you were the one to make it, mom." Eddy said the last two words in air quotes, rolling his eyes. "Not only are you a powerful sorcerer, but you didn't actually test it that much to figure out you could do that at all. You probably should've checked that because..."

Eddy clapped his hands above his head, separating them so a rainbow appeared above his head. In bright white letters, the words "It's a Bastard!" where spelled within, pathetic spurts of confetti completing the ridiculous gesture.

Raven pinched the bridge of her nose, wishing her mom would pick her jaw up off the floor. She really wished nothing else weird happened today.

"Uh, guys?"

Oh, wait, here comes Apple with her own questions.

"Um, she said that she met Eddy's mom two months before her wedding, right?" Apple wrung her hands, looking embarrassed as everyone's attention turned towards her. "I'm just asking to clarify."

"Yeah, that was pretty clear there, Princess." Eddy put his hands in his pockets, raising an eyebrow. "Spit it out before Milton has an aneurysm. I really don't have all day before Blondie tracks me like a bloodhound to find out more about this story."

"I've just realized that- and Raven, I'm very sorry for the past few months if this is true," Apple said in a rush, clasping her hands together. "If Eddy was.. conceived and born two months before Raven, doesn't that mean you're the one that's actually next in line to be the Evil King then?"

...You could hear a pin drop at the silence the question birthed. Unfortunately, the sound of Milton falling over and hitting the ground was much louder.

"Ha! Princess, I think you killed the headmaster!" Eddy laughed at the unconscious form of Milton, hard enough he was having a difficult time breathing. "I can't believe it! I thought I was gonna have to do it if he got in our way again."

"I didn't- I mean, he just- I'll go call for help!" Apple pulled out her MirrorPhone, moving towards the exit so she could get a signal. "We can talk about that later! 911, I have an emergency..."

"Oh my god." Regina finally said, catching up to reality. "I owe so much child support."

As Raven watched the chaos go on, not sure if she should say anything, she could at least count one good thing that came out of this mess.

Again, hope you enjoy this! Poor Regina would probably not take it that well, especially since she thinks she's so smart about her infidelities.

Either way, see you in the next installment of this fic or in the canon one!
