Author's Note: I want to first mention before getting into answering reviews. I have been thinking of Willow being revealed to be a missing Weasley daughter, making her Charlie's twin as their ages would match. What do you all think about that twist? Also I said Giles would be be in the Dark Willow arc along with Xander and Faith in his canon role for that arc. As I wrote that arc I wound up shortening it as I found myself slowly backing myself into a corner with not only Harry being there but with Harry being wizard and Buffy and Dawn being witches. The end of the arc ends at Racks where Buffy is the one to bring Willow back by telling Willow that she loves her. So Giles is missing from the Dark Willow arc and I have in fact in the first chapter for Order of the Phoenix when their still in Sunnydale an explanation that he was out of town, for what I don't say. Giles will definitely appear during the First Evil arc. On the Buffy and Willow ship, it will be slow progress as it will play out through Order of the Phoenix and the First Evil arc. By the time of the Battle of Sunnydale, Buffy and Willow will be in a relationship, if not before. I'm only at the start of the Order of the Pheonix so it's possible before it's conclusion but with Umbridge there it will be harder.
Dai5ycake: First on Faith. In Chapter 8 Buffy a letter from Giles saying that he has gotten Faith released from prison and that Angel eventually returns to L.A. and Faith takes over in Sunnydale. That is to set up the Dark Willow arc. Buffy, Dawn and Harry will be there when Tara dies. Though they arrive only minutes before, too late to stop what Warren does. Buffy takes Xander's place for the backyard scene and Faith takes Buffy's place for majority of what was seen in Season 6. Faith will be the one shot (along with Tara of course) instead of Buffy when Warren comes in guns a blazing. As far as Buffy's wand goes, read on down, it's revealed in this chapter. On protection for Buffy's house, after the Dark Willow arc I have Sirius suggesting after the dementors attack (they attack Dawn, and Ginny who is visiting around the week of Harry and Dawn's birthday, not Harry) that he has a place they can stay that might be safer when it comes to attacks from the wizarding world. He mentions the Fidelius charm hides his house in London and Faith is like can get that done here. Buffy is like sure. I have no idea how Sirius feels about Buffy, Dawn or Harry living on the Hellmouth. I do know how he feels though about everything Buffy has gone after its revealed to him. He'll be supportive but he's also mad at the fact that Buffy had to grow up fast. When Buffy's life is revealed to Lupin at the beginning of Order of the Phoenix he too is not going to be happy. On the Wizengament after mentioning Buffy could claim the seats I completely forgot about it till Order of the Phoenix when its mentioned that Dumbledore voted out of the Wizengament by the other witch and wizards on the Wizengament. Then I have Buffy questioning why she didn't get a letter about that vote. And by the time Order of the Phoenix roles around it will be too late to get a retrial. And during Goblet of Fire Buffy will be too busy for multiple reasons to see about a retrial.
Chapter 3: Diagon Alley
July 7, 2001
"I guess the first stop is wands," Harry said when they exited the bank. They headed down toward the end of the street. Thankfully since it was early in summer break it wasn't very crowded. When they reached Ollivander's they walked through the door, a tinkling bell signaled their arrival. Boxes.
Buffy and Dawn looked around at the shop and saw a whole lot of boxes.
"Good morning," said a soft voice.
"Holy Shit! " said Dawn in surprise as Mr. Ollivander appeared suddenly from behind the countertop scaring Dawn.
"Language, Dawn," Buffy said having picked up the quiet footsteps of the shop owner with her Slayer hearing.
"Hello, Mr. Ollivander. My sisters need wands," Harry said.
Ollivander looked stunned for a second before it was washed away behind a mask of professional calm. "I didn't know there was any more Potters. This is quite the surprise."
"Yeah," Harry agreed.
Ollivander stared impassively at Buffy. "Hello, Slayer," he said.
"Demon or vampire?" Buffy asked.
"One of the demonic races," Ollivander said. "Though one of the few who can pass for human. Interesting that you need a wand. I didn't know Slayers got magical training. Of course, to my knowledge they are taken from their families."
"I was adopted," Buffy said. "I wasn't found till after I was called."
"That explains why you and Mr. Potter are related," Ollivander said. "But not the wand as the Watcher's Council generally forbids the Slayer from receiving magical training."
Buffy laughed, "I no longer work for the Council, I left them a couple years ago. They were just a bunch of stuck ups thinking they could control my life. That I would do anything they said."
Ollivander laughed, "Yes of course. They consider the Slayer a tool, not a person. It is nice to see that someone finally put them in their place."
"I bet you wonder how Harry and I are related?" Dawn said.
"Not really," Ollivander said. "I can see the green glow, my dear. Old magics, older than myself, were used." He looked at Buffy. "I take your blood was used?"
"We believe both mine and Harry's," Buffy answered. "The monks did it to safeguard Dawn, that way if something happened to me, there would be a backup plan so no one could kill Dawn for the Key."
Ollivander nodded as he smiled at Buffy. He then moved over to Dawn. Suddenly, he pulled out a long tape measure out of his pocket. "Which is your wand arm?" he asked.
Dawn shot Harry a curious glance who just shrugged at her. Sighing loudly, she held up her right arm. Ollivander took the tape measure and measured her arm in so many different ways that Dawn lost count. Ollivander let the tape measure go suddenly and it sprang to life measuring on its own. He glided to the boxes lining the back wall and began to take various boxes down from different spots. While he was doing that Ollivander went over the types of wands people used and why no two wands were ever the same.
"That's enough," he said and the tape measure stopped and fell lifeless on the floor. "Here you are. Try this one. Mahogany and unicorn hair. Eleven inches. Quite flexible. Take it and give it a wave."
Dawn took the wand and waved it around only to have it quickly snatched out of her hand by Ollivander.
"Redwood and dragon heartstring. Nine inches, willowy. Try it."
Dawn waved it and it was quickly snatched out of her hand by the old man. Ollivander quickly thrust another wand into her hand.
"Rosewood and a single hair plucked from the head of a mermaid. Ten inches quite springy. Go on, give it wave."
Dawn took the wand and immediately felt a shock in her fingers. She brought the wand up and quickly swished it down. There was a burst of light above them and a shining rainbow sprang to life in the air. Harry clapped smiling proudly while Ollivander smiled in satisfaction.
"Another satisfied customer," Ollivander said and then turned toward Buffy. He knew without doing any of the measurements the wand for her. He turned and quickly walked to the back of the shop. When he returned, he had only one box in his hands. He took the wand out of the box and handed it to Buffy. "Ten inches, willow and hair from the First Slayer. Give it a wave."
Buffy nodded, and much like Dawn had felt, she felt the shock in her fingers as she gave the wand a swish and fireworks shot out of the tip. Ollivander looked pleased, "I thought so. This wand was made for another Slayer-Witch. She unlike you did not escape the Watcher's Council's control. When she was to go to Hogwarts, they took her away and sent her wand back to me."
Buffy looked at the wand feeling sad for the Slayer before her who had owned this wand. She then looked up at Ollivander and smiled. "Thank you. How much do we owe you?"
Ollivander shook his head, "For you, dear Slayer. Both wands are free. Consider it my gift for your defiance of the Watcher's Council."
Buffy nodded, "Thank you that is most generous."
"Might as well get your robes next," said Harry as they walked down the street moments later. They entered the dress shop to find Madam Malkin, the proprietor of the shop waiting for customers.
Madam Malkin looked at the trio as they entered, "Updating your robes, Mr. Potter?"
"I will need a dress robe this year also," Harry said. "Also, I need a full set of robes for my sisters. Dawn needs a full set of robes. Buffy will need robes as she is going to be a Professor at Hogwarts this year. And I assume they will need dress robes as well."
Madam Malkin nodded and ushered them into three separate rooms to get fitted. After everyone was fitted and had their new robes they left.
They then rushed over to Flourish and Blotts where the shelves were stacked to the ceiling with books as large as paving stones bound in leather; books the size of postage stamps in covers of silk; books full of peculiar symbols and a few books with nothing in them at all. They bought all the school books Harry and Dawn needed for their fourth year as well as extra books for Dawn and Buffy for their tutoring sessions with Dumbledore.
They then went over to the Cauldron store and picked one up for Dawn. "I wonder how come you don't need one Buffy."
Buffy nods, "Likely I won't be taking potions, and if I do, I can always borrow yours or Dawn's when you're not in class."
Then they visited the Apothecary, which was fascinating enough to make up for its horrible smell, a mixture of bad eggs and rotted cabbages. Barrels of slimy stuff stood on the floor; jars of herbs, dried roots, and bright powders lined the walls; bundles of feathers, strings of fangs, and snarled claws hung from the ceiling. Harry purchased the needed ingredients for his and Dawn's potions classes.
Harry looked at Buffy and Dawn's lists, "That's everything except for brooms and pets. I'm going to get you an owl, Buffy. I'm sure Hedwig won't mind flying to America for you. But be better if we had two owls that way one of them is resting after such a long flight. I am going to buy Dawn, a cat; if that's alright with you, Dawn."
Dawn nodded, "That's fine, and I would like a cat."
They then headed to headed to Eelops Owl Emporium, twenty minutes later they left with Buffy carrying a large cage that held a beautiful snowy owl, much like Harry's, fast asleep with her head under her wing. They walked across the way into a Cat Emporium and bought Dawn a white Persian cat.
The last stop was Quality Quidditch Supplies. Harry bought two Firebolts that matched his. When they left the shop, they headed for the entrance to Diagon Alley. Buffy suddenly bumped in to a man, "Sorry wasn't watching where I was going," she apologized.
The man nodded. He was about to walk off when he spotted Harry, "Hello Harry. Dumbledore had said I would find you here. These young ladies must be the guests he said you had with you."
Harry smiled as he recognized the man, "Hello, Mr. Weasley. Let me introduce you to Elizabeth Lilyanne Potter."
"Potter?" Mr. Weasley said as he looked at Harry with confusion.
"My older sister," Harry explained. "Mum and dad were still at Hogwarts when she was born. They gave her up for adoption."
"It must be true otherwise I doubt Dumbledore would have left you alone with her," Mr. Weasley said.
"And my other sister, Dawn Marie Potter," Harry said. "Her story is complicated."
"And a long one," Dawn added.
"I look forward to hearing it," Mr. Weasley said, "when you have time. That is if you don't mind telling it."
"Just once, I don't really want to have to repeat myself fifty times," Dawn said.
"Of course," Mr. Weasley said as he turned back toward Harry. "Dumbledore said you might want to come to the Burrow for the rest of the holidays. Maybe see the Quidditch World Cup before you return to Hogwarts at the end of the summer. Dumbledore even procured two extra tickets I assume now were meant for your sisters."
Harry smiled, "That would be great. Uhm one thing, when we get to the Burrow. Don't say anything about them. I want to reveal that information myself."
Mr. Weasley laughed, "Of course, Harry. How could I rob you of the joy of seeing your friends shocked faces when they see you have a new family? I've been meaning to ask though Harry, though I think I already know the answer. Why you're no longer living with the Dursley's. Dumbledore only said that starting the end of term next year you would no longer be living with them."
"The protection our mother left on Harry will work with me," Buffy said. "Since I share the same blood as Harry. Even if the protection didn't work with me, I'm the Slayer."
"Interesting," Mr. Weasley said. "I didn't know there were any Slayers who were also witches. Of course, since you are related to Harry, that actually explains both to an extent. Now if you three are done shopping. We should go to where you're staying pick up your stuff and then take a portkey to the Burrow."
Harry smiled, "Oh I need to send an owl to uhm Snuffles, Mr. Weasley. Let him know what is going on. I'm sure he would like to meet my sisters."
Mr. Weasley nodded, "I'm sure he would. We will do it after we return to the Burrow."

Upon arrival at the Burrow they were on the hill behind the house. Harry pulled Dawn and Buffy aside. So, they wouldn't go in blind knowing who was who in the Weasley family he tried describing each one as he had seen those, he had yet to meet in the Daily Prophet the year before. Mrs. Weasley was a plump woman and wife of Mr. Weasley. Charlie was built like his two younger brothers, Fred and George who Harry said were the twins. Harry said Bill was the oldest and was kind of a wannabe be rocker. Dawn and Buffy laughed to themselves at the description. 'The tall Boy Meets World looking boy was Ron, the only girl in the family was Ginny. Percy was the last, he said he the model son, always prim and proper.
Harry glanced at Mr. Weasley who stood by the door leading into the home. He looked back at his sisters. "Let me and Mr. Weasley go in first. Then come in a couple seconds after us."
Harry and Mr. Weasley then proceeded to enter the house. Harry looked around and saw that Ron and George were sitting at the scrubbed wooden table with Bill and Charlie.
"How're you doing, Harry?" said the nearer of the two, grinning at him and holding out a large hand, which Harry shook, feeling calluses and blisters under his fingers.
"I'm fine. Charlie, right?" Harry asked as Charlie nodded.
Bill got to his feet, smiling, and also shook Harry's hand just as Buffy and Dawn walked in the doorway. Everyone turned to look at them with surprise.
"Ummm. Hi," Buffy said as she and Dawn both smiled.
Mrs. Weasley looked to Mr. Weasley, "Arthur, who are they?"
Mr. Weasley shook his head, "I think Harry wanted the privilege of introducing them himself. Something about wanting to see the look on your all's faces when he told you."
Harry laughed and nodded, "I would like to introduce you all to Elizabeth Lilyanne Potter and Dawn Marie Potter. My sisters."
With those words Harry caused an instant uproar. The room that was quiet had suddenly erupted into chaos.
"What?"
"How?"
"I'm confused."
"Impossible!"
"I don't get it?"
"But she's blonde!"
Bill pulled out his wand, training it on Buffy. He glared at her then turned to Harry. "Harry everyone knows you don't have a sister, let alone two. They have to be some kind of Deatheater sent by You-Know-Who."
"You can owl or floo Professor Dumbledore if you like," Harry said. "He knows the full story and was even there for Buffy's birth."
"Dumbledore knows?" Hermione asked.
"Oh, and that's Hermione," Harry said to Buffy and Dawn. "Didn't know she would be here or I would have described for you too." He looked back at Hermione. "Yes, he does, Hermione. In fact, Buffy and Dawn met him earlier today. He knew Buffy was my sister because he had placed a tracking spell on her when mum gave birth to her."
"Why are you calling her Buffy?" Ron asked. "And why is it no one knew?"
"On why no one knew. Well to put it simply," Buffy said, "because I was adopted. Our parents were still in school when I was born. Lily was afraid her parents wouldn't let her keep me or maybe disown her. So, she and James gave me up for adoption with the promise they would come for me when they were older. Sadly, they died before they could. On the name, my adopted name is Buffy Anne Summers."
"Okay that explains how you are Harry's sister," Mrs. Weasley said. "But the other young woman …"
"It's a long story," Dawn said, "If everyone would sit down, we will go over it."
Buffy started off again just like she had with Dumbledore, telling them how she had received her letter and not knowing it was for a magic school had told her parents she didn't want to go. Then she went on to tell them about being called as the Slayer. At that point pandemonium erupted again as it was unheard of for a Slayer to be also a witch. Then Buffy went on to tell about her various battles up to and including Dracula. That was where she stopped as she looked toward her sister.
"A year ago, I didn't exist. Well not as I am today anyway," Dawn started. "A year ago, I was a glowing ball of energy known only as the Key. There was this hell god, we called her Glory, who was after the Key to open the portal between dimensions as he wanted to return to her home dimension. So, these monks decided to protect the key they needed to transfigure it. Make it human. They used Buffy's blood and made me human and to make sure I was protected they created the connection that would assure Buffy would protect me with her life. So, they made me her sister with all the memories that go with it. That's how I'm Buffy's sister. How I'm Harry's sister is a little more complicated. We believe the monks had a backup plan. We believe that they also used Harry's blood in my creation. Hence why I have…"
Dawn moved her hair aside to show them the lightning scar on forehead. "It was always assumed it was a birthmark. It wasn't till we met Harry and saw his scar in the exact same location as mine that we began putting two and two together. We believe it was so that should Buffy fail, I would then be sent to Harry. We believe at that point the protections Lily left on Harry would also protect me. Plus, since I am kind of Harry's twin I would automatically be enrolled at Hogwarts where the teachers could also protect me. Thankfully the backup was never needed as Buffy defeated Glory."
Mr. Weasley looked at the clock and noted it was nearing time for dinner. "Ginny, why don't you show Buffy and Dawn where they will be sleeping. Ron, I assume Harry will be sleeping with you as usual. Why don't you help him take his things up to your room?"
Ron and Ginny led the group up the stairs. Just then a door on the second landing opened, and a face poked out wearing horn-rimmed glasses and a very annoyed expression.
"Hi, Percy," said Harry.
"Oh hello, Harry," said Percy. "I was wondering who was making all the noise. I'm trying to work in here, you know I've got a report to finish for the office - and it's rather difficult to concentrate when people keep thundering up and down the stairs."
"We're not thundering, "said Ron irritably. "We're walking. Sorry if we've disturbed the top-secret workings of the Ministry of Magic."
Harry laughed, "Before you return to work, Percy. I would like to introduce you to my sisters… Elizabeth, or as she prefers, Buffy, Potter and Dawn Potter."
"Hunh?" Percy said confused.
"You missed the whole story, Percy," Ron said. "Go downstairs and ask mum and dad for it. It's a long one and I don't think they want to rehash it right now."
"Your brother is right," Dawn agreed. "We already did it twice today. Once for Professor Dumbledore and the second time for Hermione and the rest of your family downstairs."
Percy nodded.
"Anyways what are you working on?" said Harry.
"A report for the Department of International Magical Cooperation," said Percy smugly. "We're trying to standardize cauldron thickness. Some of these foreign imports are just a shade too thin leakages have been increasing at a rate of almost three percent a year -"
"That'll change the world, that report will," said Ron. "Front page of the Daily Prophet, I expect, cauldron leaks."
Percy went slightly pink. "You might sneer, Ron," he said heatedly, "but unless some sort of international law is imposed, we might well find the market flooded with flimsy, shallow-bottomed products that seriously endanger -"
"Yeah, yeah, all right," said Ron and he started off upstairs again.
Buffy laughed, "Remind you of someone Dawn?"
Dawn nods, "Us… We were always teasing each other. Well till mom got sick anyways. Then we both got serious real fast."
Percy slammed his bedroom door shut. As Harry, Hermione, Buffy, Dawn and Ginny followed Ron up three more flights of stairs. "Ginny's room is on the left. Mine is on the right. Buffy and Dawn, you will be sleeping with Hermione and Ginny. Harry is of course sleeping with me."
The girls went in to Ginny's bedroom as Harry and Ron went in to Ron's bedroom.
"What's it like to find out you have a brother you never met before?" Ginny asked when the door was closed.
"Nice," Buffy said as a smile graced her lips.
"I have to agree with Buffy," Dawn said.
"You said you were created from Harry and your sister," Hermione said as she looked at Dawn. "And we can see the truth of that by looking at you. But still doesn't that mean you both are and aren't at the same time."
"Yes," Buffy said. "Legally speaking Dawn is my sister by my adoption. I expect that would have changed if the backup plan had been needed. But legally speaking Dawn isn't related to Harry. But biologically since Dawn was made from both of us, that means biologically she is Harry's sister as well."
"If I can ask," Hermione said. "Is Harry leaving your aunt and uncle?"
"Yes," Dawn said. "We found Harry first before meeting Dumbledore. Buffy got custody from them after seeing how they were treating him. And before you ask the protection Lily left on Harry to protect him from Voldemort will still work with Buffy since she is his older sister."

After everyone else had gone to bed; Buffy, Harry and Dawn were sitting in front of the fireplace in the kitchen. "So why are we waiting here?" Buffy asked.
Harry smirked, "For Sirius to call."
Just then Sirius' head appeared in the fire, "Hello, Harry. Now who do you have with you?"
Harry smiled, "Sirius, I would like you to meet Elizabeth and Dawn, my sisters."
"I prefer, Buffy," Buffy said.
Sirius blinked as he looked between Buffy, Dawn and Harry. He saw the matching scars on Harry's and Dawn's foreheads. He saw that Buffy looked like a younger version of Lily, except for she had James eyes and Lily's mother's hair. "James you son of a … Why didn't he tell me? I was his best friend."
"They were sixteen," Buffy said. "Still at Hogwarts. From what we have gathered they only told Dumbledore."
"Okay that explains you," Sirius said. "But…"
"My story is complicated," Dawn said. "I will let Harry send you a letter explaining it. I've gone through it twice in the last twenty-four hours. I don't want to do that again right now."
"I understand," Sirius said. "I look forward to that letter, Harry."
"Sirius, if you had known. Would mum and dad have named you Buffy's godfather like they did for me?"
"I would like to think so, but we will never know, Harry," Sirius said. He looked at Buffy. "I hope you had good parents, Buffy."
"The best," Buffy said.
"I'm glad," Sirius said. "I would like you to consider me your godfather, even though I was never named officially."
"Okay," Buffy said.
"There is something else, Sirius," Harry said. "Buffy has custody of me. I'm not returning to the Dursleys."
Sirius nodded in understanding. "The protection Lily left on you that protected you at your aunt and uncle's will work with your biological sister. After what you told me, Harry, I'm glad." He looked over his shoulder and then back at the trio. "I better be going before someone sees me. Write to me, Harry, you too, Buffy."
Harry nodded, "We will." Sirius head was suddenly gone from the fire.
