Hello there and welcome to The Eclipse Foundation explained. Today, we'll be looking at Eclipse Marines. Eclipse Marines start off as children, mainly boys, trained from the young age of ten years old to be near unstoppable killers. When they're finished training, they undergo a genetic augmentation process which infuses their bones with heavy duty titanium and gives them superhuman strength, speed, and agility as well as impossibly fast regeneration. They acquire their Eclipse armor shortly after this process.
The Eclipse armor enhances the already impressive abilities of the Marines. This is no normal body armor, it completely covers them. It is composed of Guardium, an indestructible metal. Guardium can't be broken or melted by conventional means. The helmet has night vision, infrared, sonar modes, a zoom function, and it has a built-in gas mask that blocks out any airborne toxin.
The gauntlets have a twin 50. Caliber machine gun attached and each finger has an extendable blade. Aside from the standard rounds the machine guns use, the Eclipse Marines have special rounds they carry at all times for different missions. The Stockholm Remover is an amnestic that knocks the victim out while targeting the memories of the abuser and erases them. The Guardium Bullet is exactly what says on the tin, a bullet made of Guardium and it can pierce nearly anything. The Eclipse Armor is powered by two plasma fuel cells.
Eclipse Marines can also be girls and the only difference is the girls carry six vials of FX-880 in a cooler compartment in each gauntlet. The Marines have super powers as well: Time Stop and Kinetic Rebound. Time Stop is a ball of energy that mimics absolute zero temperature where all motion stops and a Marine can also use Time Stop to move faster than the eye can see. Kinetic Rebound can suck the kinetic energy out of a moving object, like a tank shell, making the object useless. The Marine can then throw a punch with that same energy. That's all on the Eclipse Marines.
