Morale
"Kore…"
A voice uttered, the voice was feminine and filled with sadness and concern.
"Why? Why did you choose to become a Pokémon trainer…"
Kore was still in the hospital, slowly sliding on his black leather jacket, as he faced his mother, as she was on the verge of breaking down.
"Mother, how many times do I have to say this, I have repeated myself so many times, I'm not your baby anymore, I make my own decisions, and the path of a Pokemon trainer will always be my choice," Kore replied, expressionless.
"B-but…"
"Honey, it's his decision, he can't do anything now, even if he may be shorter than most people his age, he's still old enough to make proper decisions." Kore's father reassured his mother, Kore scowled at the mention of his height.
"Why are you looking at me like that, your 5 '3…or was it 5'4?" His father stated, Kore rolled his eyes, chuckling.
"Anyways, I gotta go, I want to get a head start as soon as possible, league season is only in 6 months," Kore stated, his mother protested, but was stopped by his father.
"See ya, stay safe," Kore said as he exited the hospital room, jogging down the hallways.
"I would like to sign out of the Pokecenter." He calmly said, the Nurse nodded, "Wait for a second, sweetie, I will go register that right now."
Kore scowled at the "sweetie" part, "She thinks I am younger than I am."
He decided to listen to the TV placed at the top right corner of the Pokecenter.
"The previously unknown evil organization, Team Rocket, has been designated by the league as an official Terrorist group after a hostile attack on , where several Pokemon were disturbed, some killed, and one of leader brock's vital Pokemon was killed, and team rocket has thus been put on high command to be terminated and broken down at this very moment. Several gym leaders across different cities have been ordered to strengthen their defense over their respective territories, and to be on high alert for any rockets."
Kore frowned, as his blood boiled at the mention of team rocket, "Those bastards…"
The screams of the ranger rang in his mind, Steelix being brutally thrown around, the puddles of blood lost limbs and screams piercing his mind.
"I swear, I swear on my life, that they will pay, and they will suffer."
"Sir, you have been officially signed out, and you may leave now." The nurse said softly, smiling softly as she waved at Kore, who nodded in response and exited the Pokecenter.
He was met with a wave of fresh air, he inhaled and exhaled, cracking a soft smile at the familiar feeling.
"Cerulean city is my destination…"
"But I need to buy more supplies!"
…..…
Kore scurried through the bushes, and he jumped out into a small, flat field, with a pond a few feet away.
"Alright, this place seems good!" Kore said, as he slid out his Pokeballs, he walked over to the pond, releasing Hydra in it, he then released Poliwag and Exeo.
Exeo grinned at Kore the moment he materialized, jumping at his face, and Kore stumbled backward, and he held Exeo high in the air.
"Alright, buddy, we are back, safe and sound!" Kore exclaimed, "Poliwag, sorry for the problems and inconvenience."
Poliwag nodded, eyeing Hydra intently.
"Anyways, I have a device I want to test out." Kore explained, "You see, this nifty little thing…"
Kore slid out the Poke Translate, the device was round in shape, with the color scheme of a Pokeball, "Will allow us to communicate, meaning I will be able to understand you perfectly."
Poliwag didn't seem to fully grasp the concept, but Hydra and Exeo had enough knowledge to understand the potential of the device, Exeo hopped around excitedly, and Hydra narrowed his intense eyes in anticipation.
"Now, I will open this device…"
Several chips were inside, Kore carefully took them out, and as he slid out his Pokémon's Pokeball, he grabbed the manuscript from his bag, and read the directions.
"Attach the chips the same way you do with the distance communication chips, by sliding them into the white button in the middle."
Kore followed the instructions, and then read the next, "Then, open your Pokecommunicator, and press the red button on the red side of the device."
Kore did so, the Poke Translate was designed nearly identical to the Pokeball, except with red stripes crossing over the white side.
He clicked on the red button…
Nothing seemed to happen, as he approached Exeo.
"Hey, buddy, try speaking-"
"Sure!"
Kore blinked in surprise.
"You…can understand me, right?" …Exeo's voice said, "Y-yeah."
Exeo grinned, his face shining beneath the sun.
"This is awesome!"
"Horsea, Look, the trainer can understand us now!" Exeo exclaimed, Hydra looked at Kore, curiously.
"Trainer, you can now understand us?" Hydra said her voice was softer and lighter than Kore had thought, but he nodded.
"Yes, Yes I can."
"Poliwag, Poliwag!" Exeo shouted excitedly, the tadpole trotted over, "what do you want?"
"Trainer can understand us now!"
Poliwag nodded, "Okay,"
"So, how will we utilize this device to our advantage?" Hydra asked, Kore grinned.
"Well, first and foremost, this will allow me to understand you guys on an even closer level, and it will also boost the efficiency of our training." Kore stated, "Speaking of training, I have some plans."
His Pokemon stared at him intently, "First of all, Hydra, I will be using you in our next gym battle, so I have some plans to prepare you when the moment comes."
"Yessir" Hydra replied, "I will live up to your expectations with my utmost effort!"
"Well, Hydra, I want you to focus on two moves." Kore said, "Twister and bubble beam."
"Poliwag, you will help Kore with the bubble beam." Kore said, "Sure, I will try."
"Kore, I will place my trust in your capabilities to learn twister and bubble beam, I will help guide you if needed." Kore explained, "Exeo, I want you to learn mud bomb so that you have more large-area weapons."
"I will try my best!" Exeo exclaimed, Kore smiled at his enthusiasm.
"Poliwag…Well, I want you to try your best to master body slam, right now considering your size it won't be of much use, but when you evolve into a Poliwhirl, and eventually a Poliwrath, it will be one of your premier weapons for sure."
"Wow…sure!" Poliwag replied, "Do we get started right now?"
Kore nodded, "Just come to me if you need support or help."
…..
It's been a day, and Kore was dying in the humid heat of the afternoon, but he and his Pokemon trekked forward.
"Damn it….This heat is unbearable!" Kore groaned, "Oh stop complaining, it isn't that bad." Poliwag responded, scoffing.
"Damnit, you're a water type, you can very easily fool yourself, all I have are sweaty clothes." Kore rambled, and Poliwag rolled his eyes.
"Not how it works but okay."
"Why do you have so much sass?" Kore asked, "And why do you care so much?"
Kore grumbled, but didn't press forward.
"How's the progress with Hydra, Poliwag?" Kore asked, switching topics.
"That damn Horsea has been making surprisingly good progress, although it's still really just a bunch of bubbles without much substance," Poliwag said,
"That's good to know," Kore replied as he saw from a distance the familiar figure of the massive Mount. Moon and a Pokecenter, "How much progress have you made on body slam?"
"Using it feels…odd, so far there doesn't seem to be much weight or power behind it." Poliwag stated, "And that annoying Wooper keeps bothering me whenever I am training."
Kore chucked, "Yep, sounds like Exeo."
"Oi, you seem pretty relaxed, why so?" Poliwag asked, Kore looked at the tadpole with confusion.
"What do you mean…?"
"Cut the crap, how are you so relaxed, considering the events that just transpired…what, 2 days ago?" Poliwag said, irritated.
"Well…no need to dwell on the past I guess…?" Kore responded, chuckling lightly.
Poliwag stared at him, dumbfounded.
"You know what, fine, pretend I never asked."
"You know, let's lighten up the mood!" Kore exclaimed, Poliwag's eyes widened.
"Don't you dare you little-"
In a flash of brilliant scarlet light, Exeo materialized, being his usual, overly energetic self.
"Come on, we are almost at the Pokecenter, let's take a break there!"
"Why are you like this…" Poliwag groaned.
They entered the Pokecenter, it was very empty, Kore assumed that due to the rather odd placement, it wouldn't be nearly as active as the ones in the big cities.
But, Kore did see one person, aside from Nurse Joy, the man seemed quite ragged, only having hair on the backside of his head, the rest all being bald.
"Oi, boy, can you come here for a sec, I have an offer!" The man said, he gestured for me to come over.
"What does this…hobo want?" Poliwag spat, "Come on Poliwag, don't be rude."
Kore walked over to the man who was sitting in the corner.
"Aye, a young trainer like you might be interested in this offer!" The man boomed, "How about this, a five hundo, for a Magikarp!"
"That's…surprisingly cheap," Kore muttered, the man grinned.
"I know right? I don't know why nobody has bought my Magikarp, I mean, a five hundred ain't even that expensive!"
"I'm not knowledgeable about this thing you guys call currency, but five hundred sounds like a big number? Poliwag commented.
"Well, I mean, I am down for any new member!" Exeo exclaimed, Kore smiled softly.
"So, how's it gonna be boy, ya gonna buy it or not?"
"Sure, I will." Kore replied, scurrying through his bag, "Hmmm, I only have 10K…"
"Well, here you go," Kore said as he slapped the five hundred bill on the man's hands.
"Thank you for the business!" The man boomed, before taking a Pokeball and throwing it at Kore.
"It's my pleasure to make a profit!" The man exclaimed as he scurried off to his room, probably.
Kore flipped out his PokeDex, "It's only 5:30 right now, I'm going to book a room real quick, and then we can meet our new member!"
"Okay!" Both of his Pokémon said Exeo with more enthusiasm.
He rang up the nurse, who seemed to be taken aback by his sudden arrival, but he was then ordered a room, some keys, and a room number.
"Sorry if this is asking too much, miss, but is there a special area designated for water types?" Kore asked, most of the PokeCenter he's come across all had a dedicated swimming pool, but he questioned whether or not this one did.
"Ah, yeah, we do, but it's a bit smaller than the ones you might know of." Nurse joy responded lazily, "Sorry for my lack of enthusiasm."
She yawned, "They should be on the second floor, to the right of the second-floor rooms."
Kore nodded, "thanks!"
The PokeCenter was massive, as per usual, Kore opened the door to the indoor swimming pool, grinning.
"Hydra, release!"
The Horsea materialized in the pool in a flash of brilliant scarlet light, "What shall we do today, sir?"
"You, Poliwag, and Exeo will be greeting a new team member of ours." Kore explained, grinning.
Hydra perked her eyes, "interesting."
"Magikarp, meet your new friends!" Kore shouted, as he tossed the Pokeball into the air, in a flash of brilliant scarlet light, the Magikarp floated across the water, before readjusting himself.
Poliwag stared at the Magikarp, dumbfounded at the pathetic sight of the Magikarp flopping and swimming around weakly.
"Oi, Oi, but…are we adding something as…pathetic as this Magikarp to our team?" Poliwag said, staring judgingly at the redfish.
"Wow! That was…not what I was expecting a single bit!" Exeo exclaimed.
"Alright, alright, y'all, be nice-"
"Trainer, I am one to never doubt your decisions…but may I know the reason behind this recent addition to our legion?
" Horsea asked, eyeing the Magikarp, the redfish returned with a stare of his own.
"Listen here, y'all, Magikarp evolves into a very, very powerful Pokémon, one probably strong enough to wipe all of you at your current stage," Kore stated, his Pokemon looked at him in disbelief.
"The beginning may be rough, but I am sure this little fella will be of great value to us." Kore said confidently, "I shall place my trust in you, trainer."
"Thank you, Hydra."
Poliwag still seemed to question the Magikarp but didn't seem to dwell much, Exeo, however, was just happy to have a new member.
"I have a question, trainer, this Magikarp if it truly does evolve into such a powerful Pokemon as you say, but at its current stage, how are we supposed to train with it for it to grow stronger?" Hydra asked as Magikarp flopped around uselessly.
"We have to move slowly, for now, let's focus on teaching him how to use the most basic of water-type moves…"
"Water gun."
….
"Magikarp, come on, I know you can do it!" Kore encouraged, as the redfish flopped around, shooting pitiful streams of water.
Magikarp was infamously known to be…stupid, and so even when Kore attached the PokeTranslater to the Magikarp's Pokeball, it didn't do much.
Kore noted to himself that the Pokemon needed a certain level of intelligence first, and he made sure to include that in his weekly report to Gary.
"Magikarp, I know you can do it! Put everything you got!" Kore continued to shout encouragement, as the Magikarp continued shooting streams of water out.
"Hydra, show Magikarp how it's done!" Kore ordered, the Horsea nodded, before shooting a quick stream of jet water, the Magikarp watched in what seemed to be awe as Hydra repeatedly fired the water guns.
"Now, you try!"
Magikarp attempted to shoot out of water guns, to no progress.
"Damn it! I've been doing this for an hour, I knew it was incredibly difficult for Magikarp to even learn the most basic of moves, but this is still more difficult than I thought!"
"Calm down, Kore…" He muttered, taking a deep breath.
"Magikarp will be vital to the team when it evolves, and to do that quickly, I need to be patient!"
"Magikarp, again!"
The process continued for another two hours, it was already 8 PM and Kore knew he needed a good amount of rest to continue traveling the following day, so he went to his room, and after doing the basic things, he went to sleep.
The following day, after eating and all that jazz, it was already 8 AM, and so he instantly rushed to the swimming pool to continue training.
Hydra improved quite a beam with a bubble beam with the guidance of Poliwag, whose body slam was still a massive work in progress and has been vital in Hydra's progress.
Hydra has also been occasionally giving Magikarp pointers and displays of water guns, which seemed to help the Magikarp learn the move, although the prospect of Magikarp learning the move was still miles away.
They trained for exactly two hours and left the PokeCenter to enter at 10 AM.
"This sucks, I don't like this cavern at all…"
He heard the eerie fluttering of wings and occasionally heard a few pebbles rolling down amidst the quiet darkness of the cave.
He saw a few trainers, most of whom didn't dare battle for fear of awakening the Zubats and Golbats, maybe even an Onix.
He did, however, fight two trainers, a rather gruff-looking man with a Paras, which Poliwag took care of with difficulty, and another, young trainer, who Kore assumed was younger than him(but he was still shorter,) Who had two Geodudes, which Exeo easily defeated.
Kore just wanted to get the hell out of the cavern, he didn't like the place a single bit, and wanted to leave at quickly as possible.
"Man, frick this place…"
He saw a few Zubats fly across, paying him no attention.
They've been walking and resting for what Kore assumed to be a few hours, he was able to access the digital map that the Pokedex gave him, normally he wouldn't use the map as it ruined the entire fun of traveling, but he was just not feeling it.
"The quickest route said that if you go by a normal pace with 30-minute stops every few hours or so, I will arrive at Cerulean in 3-4 days…"
He saw several ace trainers across his path, likely due to the recent incident, and he also saw the usual ranger stationed in , although he did feel there were even more than usual.
The rangers occasionally greeted him, and he saw a wide variety of Pokemon, like Rapidash, Raichu, and even Rhydon.
The Ace trainers mostly ignored him, as they weren't like rangers who served more as a community managers, while Ace trainers were more government agents than anything who didn't really need to reach out to the locals or anything like that.
After walking until his legs were sore, he and his Pokemon decided to rest for a bit.
…..
His clothes were dirty and he was a sweating mess with a massive odor by the time he finally made it to Cerulean, he grinned with nostalgia as childhood memories flooded through him.
"This is where it all started…"
"My obsession with water types."
Kore remembered first visiting the Cerulean sisters show, and then watching leader Misty's battle, he was amazed by both of the performances, and the beauty behind the movement and elegance water type exerted, alongside their ferocity and power.
"That's what water types are about, after all…"
Kore had studied water types countless different times, reading famous textbooks, watching gym battles and challenges from Lorelei, Misty, and notable water trainers from other regions on repeat, all to study the water typing.
He also knew that there was a daycare in Cerulean, which could raise Pokemon, teach, and guide them when the trainer is busy, although it is still recommended for the trainer to bond with the Pokémon on their own.
He decided to first stop at the daycare, although his legs were sore and screaming at him to go to the fucking PokeCenter and rest, he still ended up dropping Magikarp off at the daycare.
"These legs are getting sore…well, it has been a while since I've trained my stamina…"
Kore grinned, "Well, I haven't done long-distance runs since I became a trainer!"
And so, he exploded with speed, ignoring his legs aching, as he forced them to move at explosive speeds.
"Having a good workout will forever be nice!"
…
"Oi, Anything good ya got there?" A gruff man said he was tall, lean, and wore a dark uniform with a bright, red R on it.
"Y-yes…uhm, we had a…M-Mankey, R-rattata….Nidorina…a-and, an…Spearow." A quivering voice replied.
"Is that it? Fucking useless…" The man cursed, "You know, if I don't get anything good from this sorry ass of a daycare, then I will be fucking demoted, you know…buddy?"
"And I don't know if you know this, but if I were to be demoted back to a mere grunt, all of the other grunt's respect for me as a section commander would disappear, and you know what would happen next….." The rocket commander said, slowly approaching the quivering man, who wore a suit, bruised and battered.
The commander reached for his pockets, as the quivering man shrieked.
"W-wait, wait, today…a brat came in here with a Magikarp!" The man exclaimed, "a-and I know with your super awesome technology, y-you can turn it into a massive, powerful Gyrados!"
The rocket commander grinned, "Finally, something fucking worthwhile! It seems this useless fucking daycare finally got a use!"
"Go cry and piss yourself, pussy." The rocket commander grunted, pushing the quivering man onto the floor.
The man scrambled away into a room, groaning and moaning as he did so.
…
Kore wanted to say he was awoken by the bright sun shining upon him on this very cheerful day, but he was awoken by Exeo hopping on his bed and making a mess of everything.
He had to apologize to the cleaning staff before he left the PokeCenter and had to give a stern scolding to Exeo(which he suspected didn't get through the Axolotl Pokemon at all,)
He went to one of the many rivers surrounding Cerulean, before releasing all of his Pokémon.
"Magikarp won't be with us for a day or two, as I want to train you guys up individually, I will leave the training to the folks at the daycare," Kore explained, his Pokémon seemed content, wobbling around in the water.
"So, Hydra, you almost have Bubble beam down, correct?"
"Yes sir, The Poliwag states that I can use it effectively in battle," Hydra replied politely as usual.
"Alright, I want you to work on that for an hour or two, then, you will switch gears completely to the twister, how far have you gotten on it already?"
"So far, I can not muster any more than some weak wind."
"Okay, after you're done with the bubble beam, focus all of your attention on twister," Kore said.
"Me next!" Exeo exclaimed, Kore scoffed.
"Alright, buddy, How are you doing with a mud bomb?" Kore asked the Axolotl Pokemon, who grinned.
"I've mastered it! Easily of course!"
"Good….Well then, why don't you just spar with Poliwag a bit." Kore said, "Speaking of Poliwag, halt practicing body slam for a while, and spar with Exeo for the last day or so."
His Pokémon all nodded, as the training began.
Kore grinned confidently…
"Cerulean gym, Misty waterflower…"
"I am going to win, and I will prove my strength!"
…
"Oi, Fucker, the preparations are all prepared and complete, right!?" A loud voice shouted, as a man came stumbling down.
"Y-yes sir, most trainers don't retrieve their trainer until at least two weeks." The man said, quivering.
"Okay, this will be our last batch of Pokemon." The man said, grunting as he loaded the Pokeballs into a box.
"I-I'll be free…now…right?" The man asked, quivering.
The rocket commander grinned maliciously, "Oi, Oi, are you a dumbass or something?"
"B-but, you said that you would leave me unscathed if I helped you…" the man said, entire body shaking in fear, eyes widening.
"Ah? You really believed that!?" The man boomed, laughing. "Dumbass, I'm a fucking criminal, I can do whatever the hell I want!"
"And right now, I am really feeling…"
"Violent."
The rocket commander laughed evily, as he grabbed a knife from his pocket.
The terrified man stumbled backwards, "NO! PLEASE, PLEASE-"
"Say goodbye!"
…
Kore approached the daycare, he narrowed his eyes when he saw the sign, "closed,"
"That's…odd."
"Daycare's are never usually closed without a reason stated…"
Kore attempted to peer through the windows, but he saw nothing but pitch darkness.
"Even weirder…nothing to see…"
Kore gulped as he tensed up.
"No, this isn't normal at all, and I don't like it a single bit."
His breathing hitched, as he slowly approached the door, and twisted the nob…
Nothing happened,
"It's…locked."
He was prepared to leave, when suddenly, the door creaked and boomed, almost as if something was slamming themselves into the wall.
He heard muffled cries, he instantly leaped into action,
"Exeo, Poliwag, break through the door!" He ordered, as both Pokémon materialized in a flash of brilliant red light.
After several jet streams of water and mud shots, the door swung open, slamming to the side of the wall.
Kore's eyes widened, as Poliwag and Exeo guarded him protectively.
Blood oozed all over the floor, as several cuts could be seen on a man, wearing a white jacket and blue jeans, his entire complexion was pale, and he laid lifeless, shock riddled across his face.
"Ho…ho…it seems a rather rowdy brat has interfered last minute…" a man said, Kore's blood boiled and his body tensed even further as he saw the man, who wore a dark uniform with a large R imprinted onto the crest.
"You…"
"Fucking bastard!"
Kore charged at the man, rearing his fist back, the man easily swayed to the left, before grabbing him, twisting his body and slamming him into the ground.
"Heh, don't get cocky, brat, Team Rocket's going to grow even more powerful with the kidnapped Pokémon." The rocket said, grinning.
"Kidnapped…Pokemon…" Kore muttered, as his eyes widened in shock.
"My…Fucking Magikarp…"
"Ahh, you're the trainer of that Magikarp, huh…" the rocket said, dangerously hovering the knife over him.
"E-Exeo…"
The rocket narrowed his eyes, as he instantly leaped backwards, narrowly missing a water gun.
"Oh, no you fucking don't brat, Raticate, Ekans, thrash his Pokémon apart!" The rocket ordered, Kore hastily slides out his Pokédex, before frantically pressing the emergency call button.
"Damn it, you'll pay for this, fucking brat!" The rocket shouted, "Raticate, hyper fang that tadpole!"
"Run!" Kore shouted, as he, followed by his Pokémon, ran across the registersiton room, into the water sanctuary.
"Hydra, bubble beam!" Kore hollered, as the Horsea appeared, firing a bubble beam at the Raticate chasing at them, "Poliwag, Hypnosis!"
The tadpole fired a wave of psychic energy, the Raticate grew drowsy, his movements becoming sloppy and uncontrolled.
"Useless rat…" the rocket cursed," Raticate, hyper fang!"
"Ekans, bite!"
The two Pokémon lunged at him, Kore grinned.
"Bubble beam combo!"
Both Hydra and Poliwag fired a bubble beam at both Ekans and Raticate, "Raticate, quick attack into hyper fang!"
The Raticate moved at insane speeds, pouncing Poliwag.
"Exeo, mud bomb-"
The Raticate bit into the Poliwag, who burdened through the pain, grunting, as it fired a wave of psychic energy, the Raticate stumbled backwards, and fell to the floor, asleep.
"Now!"
"Poliwag, Bubble beam barrage!"
The Poliwag fired several beams of bubble beam, the Ekans managed to dodge it, lunging at Poliwag.
"Mud shot !"
The Ekans were sent hurling with a mud shot from Exeo, "bubble beam!"
Both Poliwag and Hydra fired a bubble beam at the Ekans, who were knocked against the wall, groaning in pain, "mud bomb!"
Exeo launched a round, spherical ball of mud, which exploded, slamming Ekans against the wall again.
"Tch, fucking useless." The man cursed, "I didn't wanna do this…"
"But, time to pull a little trick." The rocket said, grinning maliciously, as he pulled out a trigger.
Kore instantly tensed up, readying his hind legs.
"This little drug…"
" Will help me a ton," Kore instantly dashed at the man.
"F-9, activation-"
The rocket was slammed into the wall, Kore punched him in the gut, before slamming the rocket into the firm floor.
"No you fucking don't!" Kore shouted, as he grabbed the rocket by his shirt, before slamming him into the wall.
The rocket groaned in pain, nose bleeding, as his grip over the trigger loosened.
"You fucking-"
The rocket was slammed in the face again, as Kore's Pokemon watched in awe.
They attempted to intervene, but Kore stopped them.
Kore slammed the man into the ground again, pummeling him repeatedly.
Kore saw the knife a few feet away from him.
He stepped on the rocket's rib cage, as his eyes were full of pent up anger and rage.
"Tell me, how many people have you killed?" Kore hollered, grabbing the rocket commander by his uniform, "How many people have suffered under your cruel hands?"
The rocket stared at him, before arching his fist back and slamming it into Kore, who groaned from pain, but recovered quickly with another swift jab to the face.
He quickly ducked under, dodging a swift jab to the face, before hastily grabbing the knife and firing a swift uppercut to the jaw, the Rocket commander stumbled backwards in pain.
Kore leaped at the man, slamming him back onto the floor after several swift jabs to the face and body.
"Answer the question." Kore ordered, drawing the knife closer to the rocket's neck.
"Or else what? A pussy like you is going to kill me?" The rocket replied, chuckling.
Kore narrowed his eyes, before swiftly swiping on the man's chest, right below the next.
The rocket's eyes widened as blood slowly started to spill from the minor cut wound.
"How many people have you killed, asshole!" How many people have begged for your mercy!" Kore shouted, the rocket grinned.
"I lost count," He said proudly.
Kore's blood boiled to the breaking point, as the gap between the knife and his neck grew smaller.
"Kore…"
"Are you really able to just kill someone?"
His palms sweat, his entire body heats up as his hand quivers over the knife.
"Kore, by killing this rocket, you'll have jumped several leaps of faith…"
"Think about it carefully…"
His eyes water, as his entire body tensed.
"You either keep your morales right now, and stay on the side of definitive Justice…"
"Or you either throw them away and walk the thin line of potential Justice."
Kore pondered, he thought long and hard…
Yet, his mind drifted to the suffering this rocket have caused…
Justice shall be served…
And Kore, selfishly wanted to be the one who dished it out.
"May you change your ways in your next life." Kore prayed.
The man's eyes widened, "wait, stop-"
And then, in a swift flicker of his hand, blood splattered across the wall.
The knife was stained with blood, and so was Kore.
His eyes had no emotion whatsoever, blood on his right cheek.
He could barely comprehend what he just did.
He had just killed someone, and the morale consequences would be something he would suffer from.
"Is this…"
"Justice?" Kore muttered, as he dropped the knife, with a pant!
"Trainer…"
"What did you just do?"
Kore turned to face Hydra…
"Justice…"
"I served justice." He managed to claw out.
…
Holy…I had too much fun writing that chapter, fun fact: I had veryyy big writers block(it's why the other fic is on hiatus.) and I wrote the second half, all in one afternoon! I am amazed at myself from pulling that out, anyways, drop a comment/review, fav/follow, and remember…
To stay ballin I guess.
(I hope you enjoyed the chapter!)
