Here we go for chapter two!
NCIS...
Tony followed behind Gibbs into his house and toed his shoes off by the door. Gibbs went to the kitchen and grabbed a couple beers. Tony settled into the couch and closed his eyes. His thoughts were running a mile a minute. Why does Gibbs want to talk? Why? Can't he just leave it? His thoughts were interrupted by a beer being shoved in his hand and Gibbs settling into the couch next to him. Tony picked at the label and looked down into his lap. He couldn't look at him. Gibbs cleared his throat and took a swig. "Talk, Tony," Gibbs said softly. Tony sighed and set his beer down on the coffee table in front of him and tucked his knees under his chin. Gibbs studied his younger agent, his lean and muscular form. Gibbs waited for Tony to talk, knowing he would. Tony bit his lip and hid his face in his arms.
"My boyfriend and I broke up this weekend, happy?" Tony blurted. Gibbs furrowed his brow.
"Boyfriend?" Gibbs asked. Tony nodded without looking up. Gibbs' mind raced. "So, you're gay?" He asked. Tony shook his head.
"Bisexual," Tony mumbled softly. He peeked up from his arms and looked at Gibbs. He couldn't read his expression. He feared that Gibbs would hate him. There were no words exchanged, just silence and an occasional car passing by. Gibbs took a sip of beer and cleared his throat.
"Okay," he said. Tony looked up and furrowed his brow.
"That's it? Just 'okay'? Nothing?" Tony turned towards his boss and crossed his arms. Gibbs shrugged. "You're not upset?" Tony asked quietly. Gibbs shook his head no.
"Why would I be?" Gibbs asked. Tony shrugged.
"I thought I'd be kicked off the team," Tony mumbled as his head hung low. He felt so vulnerable right now and he hated it. He looked down into his lap finding a stray thread and picked at it. Gibbs climbed closer to Tony and their knees bumped into each other. Tony looked up and felt his breath fail him as he stared into the gorgeous, icy blue eyes in front of him. He studied his boss' face and traced the lines of his eyes with his own. He cleared his throat and looked down once more.
"If you thought I'd kick you off the team for liking men, you're out of your mind," Gibbs stated. He tapped Tony's chin and pushed it up for him to look into his eyes. He saw the relief wash over his younger agent and a weight lift from his shoulders. "Tony," Gibbs said softly. Tony smiled softly and licked his lips.
"Thank you," Tony whispered. Gibbs nodded and smiled softly.
"So that's what was bugging you today?" Gibbs asked. Tony shrugged.
"My ex cheated on me. We were together for a while, so it made for a hard weekend. That and telling you about me, well that wasn't easy either. I was scared I was gonna have to move again and move into a new job and I really don't want to because I love y-," he stopped. "-my job, here." Tony quickly corrected. Gibbs nodded and smirked.
"You were gonna say you," Gibbs pointed out and took a sip of beer. Tony blushed furiously and shook his head.
"No, I wasn't!" Tony corrected him. Gibbs rolled his eyes.
"Uh huh." Gibbs went to the kitchen as he finished his beer and snickered when he heard the couch creek in the living room. "So, Dinozzo, you love me?" he asked. He felt eyes on his back and smiled. Tony was watching him from the doorway. He turned to see a red-faced Tony standing next to the table. "Nothing to be embarrassed about," he said as he walked towards him. He smiled as Tony backed up into the kitchen wall with his hands in fists at his sides. Gibbs leaned into Tony and was mere centimeters from his face. He felt the warm breath tickle his chin and smiled. Tony's eyes were shut. "Relax, Tone," he whispered into his agent's ear. Tony groaned quietly and planted himself farther into the wall, as if it was possible. His breath quickened and his eyes were black with rings of green.
"Uh, I uhm, I-" Tony stuttered. Gibbs chuckled and leaned into his ear. Tony's breath hitched when Gibbs whispered into his ear.
"It's okay. I don't mind. If anything, I'd like to explore this even further." With that Gibbs walked away and went to the basement. He mentally prepared himself for the backlash Tony would dish to him for that. Whether it be pleasure, pain, hate, love, anything. He would take it and he couldn't wait.
NCIS...
The next morning at work, Gibbs walked into the bullpen and watched his agents working diligently. McGee was staring intently into his computer screen and Tony was on the phone with a smile. Gibbs smiled softly. Tony's better he thought. Gibbs sat down as Tony hung up the phone and walked over to Gibbs. Gibbs looked up to him. "Whatcha got, Dinozzo?"
"Well, I called this Marlene Snow, and got nothing. Literally nothing. As a matter of fact, it wasn't even her. It was a dude named Mark Jadner. He is, however, Marlene's ex-boyfriend. He told me she was a little crazy when they were together. If he didn't compliment her or do exactly as she said, she'd act insane. Hit him, kicked him, whatever she could physically do. Mark has a restraining order against her, actually. Anyways-"
"Dinozzo, did he say where she was?" Gibbs interrupted. Tony shook his head no.
"However, he does know where her apartment is, and he gave it to me." Tony waved a sticky note in the air. Gibbs rolled his eyes.
"Well, why didn't you start with that?" Gibbs snatched the paper out of his hand and read it. "Alright, Dinozzo, let's go. McGee, find everything we can on Snow. I want it all when we get back," Gibbs ordered.
"Yes boss," McGee replied with a smile. Tony and Gibbs got their weapons and walked down the stairs in silence to the parking garage. Both men hopped into a Charger and buckled for the ride.
"Dinozzo," Gibbs said softly. Tony was watching the road ahead of them. "Tony," Gibbs said a little louder. Tony still didn't respond. Gibbs reached over and pinched Tony's thigh and smirked when he squeaked.
"What!" Tony shrieked. He rubbed his thigh and glared at his boss.
"Whatcha thinking about?" Gibbs asked as he turned left. Tony crossed his arms and sighed.
"Honestly, I want to know what last night was about, but we're working, so probably not best to mix business with pleasure," Tony retorted. Gibbs slowed down and frowned as he parked.
"What do you mean?"
"You said and I quote, 'I wouldn't mind exploring this a little further,' and I want to know what that means for you," Tony said softly. Gibbs turned towards him and rested his palm against Tony's cheek. Tony began to turn red.
"It means, that I like ya too, bonehead," Gibbs patted his cheek and hopped out of the Charger. Tony squealed happily and took a breath as he hopped out of the car as well. Gibbs was up at the apartment building door and rang the bell for Snow's apartment. No sound came back. He rung it again and nothing came back through the speaker.
"Pick the lock?" Tony questioned. Gibbs looked at Tony with an amused glare. Gibbs handed him a lockpick and waited for him to pick the lock. Tony looked up from his knees and smirked at Gibbs. Gibbs rolled his eyes and crossed him arms.
"Let's go, or you're gonna have something else to do down there," Gibbs warned half-heartedly. Tony snickered as the door opened. There was a loud crash upstairs and both men grabbed their sidearm. They cleared the stairwell and looked at each apartment door, looking for 2B. The door for 2B was cracked open with a crack by the doorhandle. Tony and Gibbs nodded at each other and cleared the apartment. Gibbs didn't find anything in the bathroom, living room or kitchen. Tony didn't find anything in the closet or first bedroom. He went towards the second bedroom and sighed softly.
"Gibbs," Tony called out. Gibbs ran to Tony and sighed at the image before them. Marlene Snow was hung from the ceiling fan with an icepick in her chest. There was fresh blood dripping from her chest and neck where a large slice went across her carotid artery. Gibbs ran a hand through his hair and pulled out his phone as he left to make a call. Tony studied the scene before him and rubbed the back of his neck. The gore and physical abuse of the scene before him was chilling. Tony shivered softly and felt a hand on the small of his back. He turned to find Gibbs standing next to him.
"I called local LEO's to let them know. They are willing to give us the case. Ducky, Palmer, and McGee are on their way as well. They're bringing all the gear," Gibbs explained. Tony gave a curt nod and looked around the room. The window was open, and the curtain blew around Tony as he watched out the window. The window was broken, upon further inspection. There was a small drop of blood on the glass in the window and on the floor.
"We got blood, Gibbs," Tony said. Gibbs came over and studied the drop. He nodded and looked down. There was a small balcony below them and a ladder beside the window. There was a small patch of blood on that too.
"Whoever it was, has an injury-" Gibbs pointed out. "-and got out fast." Tony nodded. Both men walked out of the bedroom and waited in the hallway for the rest of the team. After 20 minutes, the team showed up, and everything was processed at the scene, including the blood on the ladder and window shards. McGee found a few fingerprints on the door and collected the blood samples for Abby. Tony and Gibbs talked to the local police in person as they showed up after NCIS. Once everything had been cleared and cleaned up, local police left as well as Ducky and Palmer. McGee stayed behind to talk.
"So, Abby said she is ready to receive all the new evidence for the case. She said the partial she ran before hadn't come up with any matches, however with the new prints, she can put them together and see if anything shows up. There were more partials on the ice pick but the ladder and door both had full fingerprints, so hopefully something will pull there," McGee explained. Gibbs nodded.
"Good work, Tim. Keep it up. You got a ride? I need to talk with Dinozzo for a minute." McGee nodded. "Alright. I'll bring coffee," Gibbs said as McGee left. He turned to Tony who was shuffling his feet behind him. "C'mon," he said, and they both walked down to the car. Tony buckled into the car and sat quietly. Gibbs hopped in and turned to Tony.
"Gibbs," Tony said softly. Gibbs nodded. Tony chuckled softly. "Quiet, per usual." Gibbs smiled softly.
"Say what you need to say, Dinozzo," Gibbs said. Tony nodded and bit his lip. He was nervous. Gibbs rested his hand on Tony's thigh and smiled at the sound of Tony's quiet gasp. He squeezed gently. "Really?" he mumbled as the small groan escaped Tony's lips. He slid his hand further up his thigh and chuckled when Tony swatted his hand away.
"You can't do that and expect me to stay calm and collected!" Tony squeaked. He shivered slightly when Gibbs traced patterns on his thigh and turned the car on.
"Didn't know this could turn you on so much," Gibbs pointed out as he continued the silent torture to Tony's thigh. He chuckled softly when Tony started to squirm the closer, he got to his hip. He pulled his hand away slowly and sighed. "So, what are you thinking for the case, Tony?" Tony took a deep breath and calmed himself.
"Honestly, don't know. I thought maybe Snow, but now I know that's doubtful. Who else could be involved?" Tony asked softly.
"What about the guy you talked to?"
"Mark Jadner? Maybe. We'll call him in when we get back to the office. However, right now I want to do something," Tony said with a smirk. Gibbs raised his brow as he pulled into the coffee place by NCIS. Tony unbuckled his seat belt and turned towards Gibbs.
"And what might that be, Tone," Gibbs teased. Tony bit his lip and closed his eyes.
"God, I hate you," Tony breathed.
"Really?" Gibbs asked. Tony rolled his eyes and hopped out of the car. Gibbs followed suit and closed his door but couldn't find Tony. He turned and in a second, Tony had him pinned against the car at his waist. Gibbs swallowed the lump in his throat as he stared into the emerald-green eyes and plump pink lips. He knew the teasing would eventually build up to something but didn't expect it so fast. Tony leaned into his ear with a smile.
"I can't wait to finish this case, and take this somewhere further," he whispered sultry. Gibbs groaned softly as Tony released him and walked towards the coffee shop. Tony blew out a nervous breath. Jesus that was ballsy Tony thought as he walked inside the shop. A second later Gibbs was behind him and put a hand on his lower back. Tony hummed softly and shivered when he felt the hand drop lower and brush past his ass. Gibbs smirked as he walked up to the counter to order his coffee and McGee's as well.
"Dinozzo, come order," Gibbs ordered him and chuckled internally when Tony began to stutter over his order.
"Uh, yes. One second," Tony said as he thought about it. "Large coffee with hazelnut creamer please," Tony finally said. The barista smiled and nodded.
"That'll be eleven dollars even please," she said with a smile. Gibbs handed her the money and put the change in the tip jar. Both men sat down at a nearby table and waited for their coffees.
"So, what are we doing?" Tony asked softly. He gestured between them, and Gibbs shrugged.
"What do you want?" he asked. The barista dropped off their coffees at their table with a smile. Gibbs nodded as both men stood to leave. Tony followed close behind.
"Well, I don't want a quick thing," Tony admitted shyly. Gibbs chuckled softly.
"Since when is 'Sex Machine' Tony shy?"
"Shut up," Tony groaned as he ran his hands down his face. Both men reached the car and hopped inside. Gibbs put the coffee up on the dash and turned towards Tony and vice versa. "I'm shy with you, because I don't know where we are going and if this is actually going to happen. I'm scared, Gibbs. I really am," Tony admitted softly. He sighed and looked into Gibbs' eyes. "I'm scared that Kevin is going to come back and try to get me to be with him. I'm scared my emotions are going to follow him instead of you, because I have wanted you for so long," he paused. He mumbled under his breath, "God for so long. I had finally decided enough was enough and tried to move on." He grabbed Gibbs hand and laced their fingers together. "I know I sound really sappy, but I can't hide anymore, Gibbs." Tony finally stopped talking and waited for Gibbs to say something. Moments passed and still just quiet breathing. "Please, say something," Tony said, breaking the silence. Gibbs grabbed Tony's face and smiled softly.
"Whatever happens, I am going to have you, no matter what, Dinozzo," Gibbs mumbled. He rested his forehead against Tony's and closed his eyes. Tony's eyes closed slowly and sighed softly.
