Hello all and welcome back. This chapter will be clearing Chelsea and a few other things.

To those that asked: Yes, I cleared the game solo and cleared the various missions on hard and challenging difficulty, Legendary is the only thing I've not cleared but I've made progress in different ones even if it is a bit bullshit in dealing with. The incursions I've not tried yet as I only recently got the DLC for Division 1 and you need that for the Underground, two of the five Incursions, and some other stuff.

Also, for those that have played the game, please note that I'll have Danny find things that you don't look for/get in the game to make up for the whole "finished the side mission and suddenly get supplies for something" deal. Like say Danny rescues hostages in an area, he may find medical supplies stashed there to get the supplies the game gives you for finishing it or him eliminating some threats or rescuing a patrol will give supplies to Security as they can grab all of the gear and ammunition those enemies had and add it to their own stocks.

For the people who were curious, I did 10 years later because funny enough Division 1 was released Nine years and change after the final episode of Danny Phantom. Now this isn't post series at all, I just found it a bit funny, and since this started in the middle of the series the 10 years works nicely. As for what episodes have taken place, you'll see some of that later on when Danny talks with some people a bit. I will confirm that it was in season 2, but Urban Jungle also happened since I've already mentioned Danny experiencing his ice powers. So all of Season 1 happened, none of season 3 happened (besides Urban Jungle), and some of season 2 has happened. Which parts though, you'll have to wait and see.

Not much else to say or go over, so let's get the show on the road.

NOTES: JTF = Joint Task Force
LMD = Last Man Battalion
SHD aka The Division = Security of the Homeland Division
ISAC =
Intelligent System Analytic Computer
CERA = Catastrophic Emergency Response Agency
ECHO = Evidence Correlation Holographic Overlay
BoO = Base of Operations aka the Post Office
LMG = Light Machine Gun

ENEMY TYPES: Grunts: The run of the mill enemies that have nothing special to them
Grenadiers: The enemies that, you guessed it, have grenades and aren't shy about using them, but also are walking targets since a well placed shot or shots will detonate their explosives.
Rushers: The enemies that will charge straight at you to deal damage, force you out of cover, or just make your life more difficult. Melee combatants carrying baseball bats or fireman axes with a makeshift ballistic shield.

Disclaimer: I don't own Danny Phantom, The Division, they're shows, games, books, merchandise, etc etc, or anything else that comes into this fic, be nice if I did but I don't.

"ISAC's Voice"

CHAPTER 2: BACK TO BASICS

MANHATTAN QUARANTINE ZONE: CAMP HUDSON, ACROSS FROM CHELSEA PARK. MEDICAL TENT.

Danny groaned lightly as he started to open his eyes only to slam them shut as it was way too fucking bright for his still recovering vision. As he got his eyes to adjust, he idly heard some raised voices, "I need to know what the fuck is going on before I can release him!" A male voice shouted, "How the fuck can he be fine already?! He had multiple lacerations, cracked bones, bruises, a concussion, imbedded shrapnel, and a host of other things. No one can just heal from that in a few hours!" The voice continued to shout.

"Lower your voice, there's patients here that deserve some shuteye after the shit that happened to them. If you continue to raise your voice, then I'll knock your teeth in to quiet you." Snake's gruff voice stated causally.

"I can't just discharge a patient without fully knowing what is going on." The first voice stated with a growl.

"Is he infected?" Faye's voice sounded out.

"…No." The first voice relented.

"Then it's not your concern. He's Division, not JTF, which means he's with us and our concern, so back off." Faye stated with finality in her tone.

"Fine! But if things get worse, I'll have no problems pointing the finger at you two!" He stated before the sound of footsteps walking away echoed out.

"You two should try harder not to alienate the people we will be forced to work with." Danny stated as he sat up and rolled his neck and shoulders getting some satisfying cracks and pops from his body while feeling his muscle stretch again since they had tightened up.

"How are you feeling?" Snake asked and Danny saw he was on a bed near him and now covered in clean bandages.

"Fine, bit tight bit I'll loosen once I move a bit." Danny stated not at all bothered that he was shirtless in front of Faye.

"Anything you want to tell us?" Faye asked with her hands on her hips and Danny noted that she had some stitches on her face keeping her future scar closed so it could heal.

"You mean tell you. Snake knows enough, but I don't know you, Faye. Whatever you want to know isn't going to affect the mission or my combat effectiveness. So drop it, at least for now, since we have more important things." Danny stated as he kept moving his limbs and body while on the bed and Snake nodded at Faye, agreeing that she should drop it.

"Fine, you up for moving and getting into the action?" Faye stated as Danny nodded and stood making Faye look him over appreciatively since he was only in a pair of boxers letting her see his fit body as well as his various scars and tattoos that he had on him.

Most of said tattoos were a bit odd to her. His left upper arm had an Egyptian ankh with hieroglyphics engraved on the ankh, but it was connected through the iconic hoop by a vertical line with four smaller horizontal lines across the vertical one.

His right upper arm was a circle and triangle intertwined with each other with an omega symbol in the center of them and some Greek lettering on all three.

On his left pectoral were three interconnected triangles with strange symbols and letting across them.

On his right pectoral was a cross made of three bloody nails each engraved with some lettering and symbols though she recognized the Roman Numeral for 40 on one.

On his torso just above his bellybutton was an intricate array of symbols and signs that Faye had never seen before though some of it looked Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and some others all mixed together.

In the center of his chest was a triangle overlapping a circle with a vertical line in the middle and strange markings around it.

The last one was on his left forearm underside; it was a runic snowflake with what she assumed were Nordic letters or symbols around it.

The tattoos she could identify were a wolf, dragon, bear, and eagle on his right forearm underside with the bear being near pitch black, the wolf being snow white, and the eagle being a bit of both.

A totem pole on his left forearm topside and she could make out a bear, shark, and a dolphin, the other four were questionable since they could be a couple different animals, at least to her.

Another totem pole on his right forearm topside and she could identify an eagle, fox, wolf, and an owl easily, but not the other three.

A group of dragons swallowing their own tails on his left wrist with each one a different style, but she could easily identify the two Asian themed ones.

Finally, a set of 8 playing cards on his right wrist with one card above them all: the 7 and Queen of Diamonds, the 3 and 6 of Clubs, the Ace and King of Hearts, and the 4 and 8 of Spades were all together like they were someone's hand in a card game and above them was the Ace of Spades.

The last three made her shutter slightly, she wasn't superstitious per say, but the fact he had two straight death cards and one card showing strength and power in or over death made her a bit uncomfortable. Sure, believing in numerology, card reading, and other such superstitious items was weird, but a lot of that was ingrained in her cultural heritage and her grandparents were very strong believers.

If she were truly superstitious, she'd think he either had a death wish or truly did have some kind of power over death.

Those thoughts were forced from her mind as Danny spoke, "Clothes and gear?" Danny asked and Faye made a face.

"Uh, not much survived the blast I'm afraid. We didn't know how bad till they started patching you up. Your weapons and most of your gear got trashed beyond all repair, counting quite a bit of your Division Tech. Your belt, Sticky Bomb Launcher, facemask, and a knife you had on you were all that survived, we don't know if anything in your belt was damaged because we couldn't get any of the pockets and compartments open and assumed they got fused closed by the blast." Faye stated making Danny click his tongue before looking at the small table next to the cot he was on.

On top of it was a small stack of clothes and then what was left of his gear, plus on the floor was a pair of simple hiking boots. Doing so also let Faye see the back tattoo he had which was an armored and robed figure carrying a scythe and a large double-sided sword. The face was cloaked behind a hood, but something about it unnerved her a little.

Danny ignored her and got his clothes on which were a simple pair of black jeans, the dark brown hiking boots, a long-sleeved scarlet shirt that hugged his body, a black beanie cap with a white wolf head on it, and finally a dark blue lightweight jacket. He then slipped his face mask on before sticking the knife into his boot and then going to his belt.

Grabbing it, he clicked it together and then proceeded to open the various pockets and containers finding all of his tools and some equipment were still there and unharmed. Taking quick stock, he had his lockpicks, a couple specialized grenades, the SHD certified collapsible ballistic shield, his transport containers, a few Sticky Bombs, four of the balls he used in Brooklyn, some basic first aid supplies, his storage cubes numbering seven, and then some odds and ends he always kept just in case. A quick usage showed his Pulse was also still working, but it was weakened from what it usually was meaning he'd have to fix it when he had time and hoped it was just a simple calibration issue.

Looking up, he saw Faye looking at him with a raised eyebrow, "It has to be buckled, otherwise the containers and pouches are all magnetically sealed shut. You'd need 10 in their prime body builders just to crack one open even slightly." Danny stated as he unclipped the belt and all the open pouches and containers slammed shut immediately and he placed it around his waist.

"All right, where do we go for me to get some gear?" Danny asked as Faye motioned to follow her.

"I'll catch up with you two when I can, idiots still won't clear me to move on my own yet." Snake stated making them nod as they walked off to the makeshift shops in the camp.

First was gear, he needed more padding and some armor if he was going to be in multiple firefights back-to-back, but he'd have to make due with what they had since he was sure the higher quality stuff was in the more dangerous areas. For now, he'd make do with what was really standard issue prison guard gear: a Safety Vest, Safety Bag, Corrections Mask, Motorcycle Gloves, Corrections Holster, and Guard knee pads.

The guns weren't much better as he had a classic AK-47 with a Quick Release Magazine, Reflex Sight, Large FDE Suppressor, and a Red Vertical Grip as his primary.

A Black Market T821 with a Quick Release Magazine, Reflex Sight, Ti-RANT Suppressor, and a small red laser sight as his secondary. The secondary being attached to his back via a magnetic harness that all agents kept equipped to them that was attached to his backpack by a small device he kept a spare of in his belt.

Finally, a Military M9, but it had already been a bit messed with as the only attachment possible was a suppressor, so he had another Ti-RANT attached to it as his sidearm. Naturally that went into his holster.

Now, just going by that those titles it wouldn't seem so bad, but these guns were in rough shape and it was clear they were older models, so some parts were outdated if not in service anymore and the modifications were the same too. Clearly whoever stocked the camp wasn't really worried about their safety if the gear they had was this low of quality.

Danny made a note to change that as he got more work done.

However, right now he had work to do and went over to the officer in charge of situational reports to get a readout. "You good?" Faye asked and Danny shrugged as she holstered her own Military M9 having let Snake keep her previous sidearm and she got the same pads and vest as Danny since hers were damaged in the blast.

"For now, I guess it's back to basics, but I'm definitely going to be keeping an eye out for better gear. This stuff makes me look like a paintballer compared to my previous gear loadout." Danny stated since even though he never fully depended on the gear when it came down to it, it was still nice to have top quality gear handy.

"Right, well we can always scavenge from the enemy and areas we go through, plus there will no doubt be more shops like these two. Some of my gear was broken too, but you took most of that hit so more of mine stayed intact." Faye stated as Danny nodded, and they approached a woman in an operations tent that had three different monitors, two laptops, two large boards with different reports and pictures on it, a communication radio, and various storage tubs.

"Agents Lau and Wraith of the Division, we're here to help stabilize the situation and get the Post Office back into high gear." Faye stated making the woman turn to look at them.

"I'm glad you're both here. We could use the help. I'm Marion Hamplestein" She stated shaking their hands before looking at Danny, "Oh, Agent, you look tired. Look, I hate to be the one to tell you, but we got so much more to do here. So, remember, wool is best in this weather, not synthetics." She stated as Danny shrugged, not really bothered by the cold. "Listen, they put me on this radio business because I got the sciatica, so I'm essentially your dispatch operator in this district. Otherwise, I'd be out there on the frontlines with you, however, that doesn't mean I won't make the most of it. If you need any info, I'll gladly hand it out if I've got access to it or anything related to it." Marion continued making them nod before she typed on a terminal and ISAC showed a small list of items for them to handle.

Bounty on one Michelle Mason.

Recovery of one Private O'Brian.

Repair the Communications unlink in Chelsea.

And a Supply Drop of Medical Supplies that needed to be located, protected, and recovered.

"Those are what we consider the "big-ticket" or "vital" items at this moment, you get those handled and all our lives, both JTF and those we're protecting, get easier and safer. There's also a Situation Board by the primary exit that lists "lesser" situations that while not as vital as the previous ones, will provide us help in getting the area under control and maybe improving our supplies and help improve our situation, meaning we can divert some supplies to the Post Office instead of here." Hamplestein stated making them nod.

"That's good, if we're going to use the Post Office as our Base of Operations then we'll need a good number of supplies going there. We'll look at the board and then contact you with where we're going first." Danny stated making her nod.

"Good luck out there, Agents, I wish I was going with you." She stated making them nod their heads to her before walking off.

They idly noted ISAC marking an objective half a kilometer away from them, which they assumed was the Post Office.

"Okay, this is the evacuation and refugee point, so we get this area controlled first and then go for the Post Office. If Benitez is there then we can work on reestablishing communications, if not we work to ensure we get everyone going until we find him or someone that is capable enough to replace him." Danny stated as Faye nodded willing to follow his lead.

"You got it, hopefully this will be a bit easier since there's two of us than if there was only one." Faye stated as Danny nodded in agreement.

Arriving at the situation board, ISAC quickly scanned it marking the locations and objectives detailed on it.

They had an enemy stronghold getting built up to the north of the camp.

An issue with the water system to the southeast of the camp.

Finally, there were two requests to investigate confirmed infected areas by a Doctor Jessica Kandel for researching the virus.

"Kandel? Why does that name sound familiar?" Faye asked and Danny hummed.

"She's an award-winning virologist, she's been hailed as 'The Future Einstein of Genetic Research' by the tabloids. From a bit of intel that I saw in the Brooklyn Safe House, she's the lead research and medical expert for the JTF, meaning she's in charge of containing and curing the virus." Danny stated making Faye nod as she realized where she heard it.

"Commander Chang was trying to get in touch with her and the other key people of the Post Office, the fact he didn't means either comms there are down or she and others have been removed or KIA." Faye stated and Danny frowned.

"Let's hope it's the former. I'm skilled in a lot of things, but my expertise is more field work than lab work." Danny stated as Faye nodded.

"I hear you, but we best be prepared just in case." Faye stated and Danny nodded.

"Yeah, let's take care of that stronghold first, it's too close to the camp for my liking. Plus, not only will we get supplies for here and maybe the base, but we'll secure the area and make life on the patrols a little easier." Danny stated as Faye nodded, and they headed out.

Walking through a lab and research area, and passing a line of people wanting admittance to the Camp, they paused as they reached the other side and both had frowns on their faces.

Why you ask?

Because the entire area was littered with body bags and to the right and left you could see mass graves had been dug to dispose of the bodies.

"My god, I knew things were bad, but this?" Faye asked as Danny nodded having seen something similar a couple years ago.

"They likely stopped when they started evacuating personnel and no one had the decency to continue and gives these people some form of respect." Danny stated as his gloves creaked making Faye see he was clenching his hands tightly.

"Hey, focus on mission, we can start fixing things when we're more secure and have more people to help." Faye stated putting her hand on his shoulder as he nodded.

"Right, let's go." Danny stated as he started walking while holding a hand over out towards the corpses and mumbling something, which Faye assumed was a prayer of some kind for the people who lost their lives.

Making the sign of the cross herself, she looked up at the sky in askance for help before moving to follow Danny.

She wasn't very religious, but asking for a little help from the man upstairs never hurt, especially in situations like this.

Walking to the other end, they got another answer for why things stopped. The entrance and processing tent had been firebombed and likely those bodies were part of the victims there. "JTF shut down the processing to ensure this didn't happen again, who knows how many personnel and civilians were lost in that hit." Faye stated as Danny nodded.

Opening his map, he marked the stronghold and ISAC showed it was just over 300 meters away, "Let's go." He stated leading Faye off towards their destination.

Taking a few back alleys to get there faster, they came across a few looters having recently killed someone and made quick work of them with a couple rounds.

As they were about to continue walking, ISAC came online, "Alert: Mobile device detected. Closer contact needed to access. Pinging location now." ISAC stated as they looked around before finding the phone as it chimed nearby.

"Accessing." ISAC stated, "Recorded information found, dated as Week 2 of the quarantine." ISAC stated before said recording began.

[Hello caller, you're on the air.] A female voice stated making them assume it was a radio host.

[Yes. I'd like to take a moment to let everyone know that… that what we're experience now… this is not the end of the world, or anything like that. The world existed long before us, and it will exist long after us. What we're seeing here, is, in fact, our just reward. We've mistreated the planet. We've mistreated society. We've mistreated ourselves. There's nothing unfair about this at all. But hopefully this time it's just a warning, and hopefully future generations will learn from our mistakes. That's all I have to say. God bless us all.] A male stated making them frown.

"Second subject identified as Larry Prescott, Base of Operations Dispatcher for the JTF." ISAC stated making them glance at each other.

"Two weeks trapped in this place with the situation getting worse is bound to get anyone to start to crack. Can't blame the guy so long as he didn't do anything immoral or illegal." Faye stated as Danny nodded.

"Let's keep moving." Danny stated as she nodded, and he pocketed the phone making her raise an eyebrow. "May be able to repurpose it for something useful later. If nothing else, we can take the components from it and use it for something else." Danny explained making her nod as they kept moving.

Arriving near the stronghold, they saw around 12 guys there before ISAC changed the waypoint to inside a nearby garage. "Leader identified as Michael "Big Mike" Antonio. Gang affiliations and a list of crimes on his rap sheet. Surveillance taken from local security cameras shows he is directly responsible for the deaths of 12 JTF personnel and indirectly responsible for another 20 through the actions of his followers. Calculating, please wait a moment… Calculations show an estimated 19% drop in violence and hostility towards JTF if he is removed." ISAC informed making the two look at each other.

"More than enough for me." Danny stated making Faye nod as they moved. Danny moved behind a white truck and Faye moved behind a stack of bricks left behind since the building on their left was being repaired.

Danny quickly used his Pulse saw there were 8 grunts, 3 grenadiers, and a lieutenant according to ISAC's scanning and research. "I'll launch a bomb at the grenadiers, you start picking off the small fry." Danny said quietly over comms making Faye nod at him. Danny then carefully moved and pulled out his Sticky Bomb launcher, the space gun looking item he used in Brooklyn, and aimed at the two grenadiers towards the back that were near two other grunts, who apparently were getting educated on the fact JTF wouldn't do shit against them right now.

Not wanting to waste more time, Danny fired the Sticky Bomb waiting for it to latch onto the grenadier, who promptly screamed garnering attention before Danny activated the bomb. The explosion was rather large since both grenadiers had backpacks with explosives inside them and said blast consumed the four main targets while setting a fifth and sixth on fire due to the size of the blast.

In the time it took the rest to get to cover, Faye had already popped out and gunned down three of them with her primary weapon: A lightweight M4 with a red dot sight, muzzle break, a spring-loaded magazine making her able to fire faster, a coyote brown hand slide, and a sling strapped to it that was rapped around her shoulder keeping it more stable.

The rest of the goons began firing at her, forgetting about Danny being there and he quickly gunned down two more with a few bursts from his AK-47. Of course, having no tactical awareness, they all turned their attention on Danny letting Faye take over, which she did by tossing an HE grenade into a cluster.

A few were killed while others dove out of the way, but those that did weren't able to make it to cover and Danny quickly gunned them down.

"Shit! Get Big Mike out here now! We need help." One shouted as he and the couple remaining started shooting at both Danny and Faye while one went to the garage and started banging on the door.

"Boss! We need help out-squelch." The guy was cut off as a bullet went through his head courtesy of Faye while Danny suppressed the others behind their cover.

Loading up another Sticky Bomb, Danny aimed and fired it just in front of the garage door for when Big Mike and anyone else with him came out before he pulled his sidearm and shot another two goons in the head.

The garage door suddenly rattled before outstepped a guy around 6 foot with an Uzi. With him were another five guys, "All right, who the fuck-" Danny cut him off with the activation of his bomb blowing Mike and his goons up while Faye moved and took out the last of the goons that started it.

"Ah fuck." Mike's voice echoed making them look and see him on his back writhing in pain before he pulled a metal plate out from his shirt showing how he survived.

Danny merely walked over and put a bullet in his head with his sidearm before holstering it. "This is Agent Wraith, we've taken out the enemy stronghold on West 29th Street, send a crew over to gather up any and all supplies they may have hoarded. Also, we took out Michael 'Big Mike' Antonio as well." Danny stated before Hamplestein came on over the comms.

[Thank you, Agents, I don't think we would have been able to take that location without suffering some serious casualties and with Big Mike gone, our lives should be a bit easier. I got a team inbound now; they'll make sure those supplies get back here.] Hamplestein stated sounding a bit relieved.

"Copy that, we'll look around for any actionable intel just in case and then head out again." Danny stated and got confirmation before he and Faye started looking around while Danny also gathered up the guns that were still usable and put them in a neat pile away from visible eyes.

However, on one body that wasn't blown up, he found a military grade recruit level holster and took it before switching his current one for it since military grade was better than corrections officer any day.

Finding nothing else, the two headed off again.

"How about that virus research request at the corner of West 23rd and 8th Avenue? The Uplink Repair is right by there and then we can see if anything more vital has come up." Faye suggested as Danny nodded.

"Might as well, we need the virus studied thoroughly if we want any hope of truly taking back New York." Danny stated as they headed out.

As they were walking past 10th Avenue, they heard a commotion at a gas station. "I said give me your money and anything else you got, or do you want a new hole to breathe out of?" A man's voice echoed as they took cover and saw five Rioters with pistols around an older man, who was on his knees with his hands raised slightly.

"Please, I have nothing, I swear." He pleaded only to get the gun's hammer cocking back as a reply.

"Well, that's just too-" The Rioter was cut off as he was shot in the head and the rest of his buddies were quickly gunned down too before Faye and Danny came out.

The old man was on the ground cowering as the two approached before Danny stopped in front him and offered his hand, "C'mon, you're safe now." Danny stated as the man tentatively took his hand and was helped to his feet.

"Thank you, they would have killed me." He stated as he took some deep breaths as Danny opened a pouch and pulled out a small bottle of water.

"Here." Danny stated as the man's eyes lit up at the sight of the water.

"Oh, thank you, thank you so much." He stated before he quickly drank the bottle.

"It's all right, but you should really head for Camp Hudson. We're working to clear this area of most threats, but the camp is your best bet for safety around here." Danny stated and the old man nodded as he finished the bottle.

"Yes, yes, you're right. It was foolish of me to be out here for so long. May God watch over you two, thank you again." He stated as he went down 10th Avenue towards the park and thus towards the camp.

Faye then came over to him and handed him the guns the thugs had before he stored them in one of his cubes and they headed out again.

Moving down to West 26th, they found their way blocked towards 9th Avenue, but Danny nudged Faye and motioned to a ladder one the side that led over the building and they both climbed up and over. Luck was a bit on their side as Danny found a weapon's case inside a fenced in area and just had to go around via a ladder and then climb down to get it.

Within, he found a G36 Enhanced. It wasn't great, but it was better than the AK was, so he quickly moved his modifications to the G36 and then placed the AK into the case before then storing said case.

Working their way back to street level, they came across a few more rioters and removed them easily enough since they were just punks and two-bit thugs that thought they were tough. Danny's growing gun collection increased, but it was still just pistols so far.

As they were nearing the virus research zone though, ISAC spoke, "Alert: JTF Transmission intercepted." ISAC stated before the transmission came up.

[This is Patrol Squad Seven! We're at West 24th and 8th! We need back up right now! We are going to be overrun!] Danny and Faye glance at each other before taking off for that location as it was literally around the corner from them.

"This is Agent Lau and Wraith of the Division, we are enroute to you now! ETA is less than a minute." Faye stated as they ran before clearing the corner and saw the JTF patrol taking cover at a four-way intersection that had been slightly barricaded.

Wasting no time, they quickly took point and began firing on the encroaching Rioters gunning down a couple before they had to take cover to reload.

Danny quickly used his Pulse while Faye used her Sticky Bomb to take out a group that Danny's Pulse marked. Danny then moved up and took cover behind a car before going prone and began shooting the legs out from under the Rioters, literally.

Once they were down, he popped them in the head before standing. "Warning: Enemies inbound." ISAC stated and Danny used his Pulse again and then set a trap with a Sticky Bomb and waited before his HUD showed him that they entered the field of explosion and detonated the bomb killing several and dropping some of the wall on others.

Danny and Faye quickly moved up and put down the last few before collecting anything they had on them.

"Thanks, we would have been real trouble without your help." The Sergeant in charge of the squad stated as they nodded.

"No shit, they're like an army of two." One member stated making the other laugh a bit.

"It's not a problem, keep up the good work and watch out for each other out here. We got some work to finish in Chelsea, but then we'll be back to group up with the Base." Danny stated making the Sergeant nod as he motioned his squad to move out while Danny and Faye did the same.

However, as they passed a long abandoned CERA truck, ISAC spoke, "Active ECHO beacon detected." ISAC stated as their systems began gathering data from nearby to reconstruct the ECHO, aka the Evidence Correlation Holographic Overlay, from the surrounding area.

Within moments, they had a holographic display of the area when the ECHO was created. It showed a group of workers at the truck and various people lining up to get food and supplies.

[Here! Make it last, okay?] A CERA volunteer stated as he handed out food to some starving people before Molotov Cocktails and gunfire sounded out scattering everyone as a large group of at least 50 Rioters came up.

Danny and Faye watched as they pushed people away and held guns up at everyone to keep them away. [This food belongs to us now! Drop the goods and get the fuck out of my sight!] A lead Rioter shouted as the CERA and JTF personnel left knowing they had no chance against that sizeable force. [Pack all this shit up! We're taking the garden next!] He continued as the ECHO showed different thugs grabbing crates and boxes before loading them and leaving with them before the feed froze.

"C'mon, let's check these crates and see if they left anything behind worth taking." Danny stated as Faye nodded and they began searching the crates and boxes.

They found some food, water, and soda that was still sealed up tight and Danny stored it in another of his cubes before they set off for the building again… only there was a problem.

"Of course, we're on the wrong side of the area, why wouldn't we be?" Faye stated with a sigh as the building that was marked to be used for research was closed off to the street.

"C'mon, I think I saw a building open back a ways that we can go through to reach the courtyard between buildings." Danny stated as they backtracked up West 23rd till about halfway between 8th and 9th Avenue before they found an open door and went in after Danny checked the ambulance that was right outside for supplies.

"Want to check this place? A lot of people left a lot of stuff behind, may find something useful." Faye asked and Danny paused before nodding since they would need all the supplies they could get.

"I'll take the second floor; you take the first." Danny stated as he began ascending and Faye began checking doors and rooms.

Danny began checking rooms finding some food, energy bars, and even some clips of incendiary ammunition. However, as he was about to leave, ISAC marked something, "Alert: Possible intel found." Danny looked for the marked item and found a page of a notebook that was scribbled over.

"Find something?" Faye asked as she walked up and Danny shrugged before he showed her the page and read the first part that was in red ink.

[This books belongs to APRIL KELLEHER. If you find it I will be on the south end of the traffic island in Times Square, every day at noon, no questions asked. If you take it off my dead body, I hope it helps.] It read in one handwriting, which was still legible even if the location was marked out and an arrow led to a new bit of text that was in pencil, [in front of the Joe Strummer mural, 7th & A.]

Below that was a title: Guidebook: New York Collapse.

Under that was another handwriting in black ink, [To A, on her birthday! Because you can never be too paranoid about the world coming down around your ears! But if NYC collapses, I know we won't, babe. You and me, me and you, the world begins and ends there. Read on, and you'll be all set when the zombies come! Love, much love, all the love – Bill.]

"Looks like some people began making a survival guide for people in New York." Danny stated as Faye nodded.

"Might as well gather any pages we can, it may provide some information, either for us or JTF." Faye stated as Danny nodded and pocketed the page before they went downstairs and into the courtyard leading to the building they needed while Faye handed Danny the bit of food and clothing she found, and he gave her one of the clips of ammo he found.

However, they paused as they heard voices and took cover, "JTF pussies can't touch this area, this my shit." A cocky voice sounded out as Danny used a Pulse to scan the area.

"Subject identified: Subject Marco Nunez aka Five-O. Wanted for the deaths of 12 JTF personnel, six Police Officers, and inciting Riots that resulted in the death of JTF personnel. Calculating: Estimated 24% decrease in hostility to JTF if eliminated." ISAC informed making them look at each other as Danny moved to the main walkway and took cover at a corner while Faye quickly moved across the way from him and both aimed seeing Five-High and five thugs with him.

Both glanced at each other and smirked before they pulled out their Sticky Bomb launchers and fired both of them on the ground near the group before detonating them. Causing shouts, but Danny saw that Five-O was able to get away somewhat by diving away.

Not letting him get the chance to get up, Danny fired on him only to find his bullets meeting resistance and quickly switched to his legs making him scream before a round to the head put him down.

Checking him, Danny found low grade military body armor that was coated in an impact resistant sealant. Taking it off the asshole, Danny swapped his current armor out for it and then stored his old one since it was better than nothing for the JTF forces to use.

Moving up, they saw the building they were to investigate before ISAC pinged another phone and they picked it up, [Welcome to PricerHouse customer service. Due to recent events, our stores in the greater New York area will be closed until further notice. We apologize for any inconvenience, and hope to continue providing food and service as soon as possible. Thank you!] A female automated voice stated making them shrug since not every file was going to be something worth having.

Walking towards the building, Hamplestein came on the line, [Agents, I have you marked at the quarantine zone on 24th and thought you should be alerted to something. Despite CERA's basic request, the area is NOT sterile, you need to be careful and make sure you're masked up before entering. The area should be clean enough that you don't have to worry about touching anything, but under no circumstances should you touch your face for at least 30 minutes after you exit.] She informed in a worried tone.

"Understood, thanks for the heads up." Danny replied as he took his mask, an actual breather mask not his half face mask, and so did Faye before donning them and moving in.

"Warning area contaminated. Scanning… Scans show current equipment acceptable for environment." ISAC intoned before speaking again, "Alert: Scanning equipment detected. Scans show that calibration is needed to do a complete scan of area." He informed making them nod as they found the first scanner trying to scan and failing before Danny accessed it and started it up. "Alert: Scan initiated. Warning: Two more scanners detected, unit calibration requires all three scanners to be activated for data to be transmitted. Failure to have all three scanners activated within the scanning timeframe will result in failure and a reset of the whole system. Scanning time estimated: 5 minutes and 22 seconds." ISAC stated as they moved.

"You take one, I'll take two, and we'll meet up on three." Danny stated making her nod as they separated and began searching the different floors.

Danny glanced back as Faye kicked in a door that was apparently locked before he went upstairs and searched before finding one of the scanners. "Alert: Two of three scanners running. 4 minutes 31 seconds remaining to finish scan." ISAC informed as Danny moved to floor three with Faye right behind him before they went to the fourth floor and found the last scanner. "Alert: All scanners activated. Uploading Data… Error, uplink blocked, proceed to interface terminal and transmit data to CERA cloud server for review. Time remaining: 3 minutes 16 seconds." ISAC stated as they moved to the roof and saw a waypoint a few roofs away.

"There." Danny pointed seeing a connecting roof access which they took before having to take cover as they saw some Rioters there.

"Why's Five-O got us guarding this stupid thing anyway?" One asked as he tapped his gun against an antenna.

"Because JTFuckers want it, which means if they want to use it, they gotta pay up, son." A second stated as he pushed the first away.

"Watch your fire, if we hit that laptop or antenna, we're screwed. And no explosives." Danny stated as he motioned her to move around a small patio style area, so her field of fire wasn't covering the laptop or antenna.

Faye waited a moment before she fired on the Rioters killing two before Danny hit them from the other side downing another two before Faye moved and hit the last one.

"Clear." She stated as Danny jumped the railing and began tapping on the laptop.

"Transmission sent… received. Data fully uploaded and documented." ISAC stated before the comms came on again.

[CERA and JTF Medical are going to be really happy to get their hands on this data. You did good agents.] Hamplestein informed over the line as ISAC sent confirmation that the task was done.

"Good, what can you tell us about the Uplink? We're heading there next." Danny requested.

[Good, we got a problem that we need fixed. Someone's been messing with the antennas, and it needs to stop before the whole thing fails. I'm sure you're both smart enough to figure out how to fix it, what with being educated and all. Could you help a lady out and fix it?] She stated as Danny and Faye just looked at each other incredulously.

"Yeaaaah, we can do that." Danny stated not sure how else to respond.

[Great! You're a peach, hon.] Hamplestein responded before the comm went quiet.

"Soccer moms." Danny stated as he shook his head before seeing a JTF crate there and opened it.

It wasn't much, but it did have some supplies and a few guns, but nothing for him to use.

Closing it, he stored it before heading back towards the contaminated building. "Fire escape?" Faye asked pointing nearby and Danny shook his head.

"No, if Five-O wanted this area, he may have used the building as storage. There could be guns, ammo, supplies, and more. Better we get it since we know we're geared enough to not get contaminated." Danny stated making Faye nod before they entered the building and scavenged it.

There wasn't a ton of value beyond clothes, some food items, some low-quality weapons, and a couple grenades. However, they did find two fully stocked ammo crates and used one to stock up on ammo while Danny stored the ammo they couldn't use and the second crate before they left the contaminated area.

Heading back the way they came to get back to the street, Danny saw a woman approach, "Please, can you spare any food?" She asked and Danny reached into a pocket before handing her a can of soup and some water. "Bless you, young man, bless you. It's good to know that the world hasn't become completely cruel and heartless." She stated before walking away and Danny smiled a bit before pausing.

"Hey." Danny called making the woman look at him questioningly before he pulled out a coat seeing that hers was a bit worn. "Here, keep yourself warm, and maybe consider heading for Camp Hudson, it's not much but it's better than being out here at the mercy of the Rioters and other gangs." Danny stated as the woman happily took the coat and hugged Danny before kissing him on the cheek.

"Thank you." She stated before she walked off.

"You're gonna get a reputation of a Saint if you keep this up." Faye teased making Danny snort as they continued walking.

Reaching a parking and loading dock, Faye looked for a ladder before Danny climbed up the front of a box truck and then got on top of the container trunk of the truck before helping her up and scaling over the railing near them to climb to the roof. "Scanning: Power conduit located. Recommendation: Temporarily cut power to allow modifications to antenna." ISAC informed as a new location was marked a ways up the roof.

As they climbed though, they heard some people talking, "Let's see those JTFaggots communicate now." A male voice laughed making them roll their eyes as they moved into position and saw five Rioters: 1 baseball bat, 1 grenadier, and 3 grunts.

Danny merely set his G36 down on the ground and pulled his knife, a recurved serrated back bowie, and his sidearm before he waited just around the corner from them and tapped the wall. "You hear something?" One of the grunts asked as he moved over and when he reached the corner, Danny sprung out and grabbed him before stabbed him with his knife and then firing with his sidearm quickly killing the other four before they could get a shot off.

Removing his knife, he pushed the grunt over, sheathed his knife and holstered his sidearm before then picking up his G36 and gathered up the guns, ammo, and grenades from them before finding the bag on the grenadier was military issue and grabbed it before swapping out his current backpack. Nodding to Faye, they continued moving on.

Finding the conduit, Danny did a temporary power block before they continued on with ISAC giving them directions and showing that they had 2 minutes 15 seconds to get the uplink reconnected before the power would be back up.

Moving through two connected buildings, they came across another small group of Rioters and Faye didn't waste time before she opened fire on them and Danny joined in removing them from the realm of the living.

Looting once again, they continued on before finding the antenna. Danny went to the control panel and began typing on it and watched as the uplink went green. "Uplink's repaired, locking the controls so no one can mess with them again." Danny stated as the panel went into lockdown.

[Well look at you! Thanks for the help, everything looks clear on this end. Wish Benny was that handy and dependable.] Hamplestein stated before muttering at the end.

Danny merely shook his head as he and Faye worked their way back down to street level. "You thinking, what I'm thinking?" Faye asked as they hopped down a ledge.

"That someone sold out different JTF locations of interest and maybe personnel too?" Danny asked and Faye nodded as they climbed down another section. "The thought had crossed my mind, just like I'm sure there's some JTF personnel that think that as well." Danny stated before ISAC pinged another phone, which they found left in an alleyway near the uplink roof and ISAC quickly accessed it.

[CERA Helpline, how may I help you?] A female voice came, clearly a dispatcher, before another woman spoke.

[Yeah. I want to report a missing person… it's, uh, my brother.] The woman stated sounding scared and saddened.

[Okay, ma'am. What's his name?] The dispatcher stated in a professional tone.

[Trevor. It's, uh, Trevor Sloan.] The woman stated sounding on the verge of tears.

[And when and where was he last seen?] The lack of compassion in the dispatcher's voice was starting to annoy Danny.

[We were at the, uh, outside Madison Square Garden… two days ago. He disappeared in the crowd, and then I, uh, waited for him by the post office but he didn't show up. I have no idea where he is, and… now I'm all by myself…] The woman stated and soon devolved into crying and sobbing.

"Damn, sad part is this is likely a lighter side of things." Faye stated as Danny nodded before they got a notification.

[All units near Penn Plaza, we have received word of a hostage situation at Rowe's on 26th! Be advised that combatants are armed and ready to go down shooting. Also, High value personnel are believed to be present, two doctors and a nurse that the medical wing could use.] A JTF dispatcher informed making them move to help since that was only a street up from them.

"Through here." Faye called finding an open window that she climbed through along with Danny before they came out the other side.

"This is Agent Wraith with the Division, we're on scene, we'll radio when we've secured the hostages." Danny stated over the comms as they moved up on what was a local pharmacy and clinic.

Taking positions behind two cars, they surveyed the area both visually and using Pulse to map out the area around them, finding eight enemies: two grenadiers and six grunts. "I still have six sticky bombs, what about you?" Faye asked and Danny frowned a moment.

"Five. Let's save them for now, things are only gonna get more complicated from here and we may have an emergency later that we need them for." Danny stated making Faye nod before he counted down on his hand and they sprang up and fired on the Rioters that were outside the building, which happened to be four grunts.

Four quick headshots sent them to the ground, with a spotter inside the pharmacy seeing it happened. "Oh shit! JTF!" He shouted as he took cover behind a wall while the rest all moved up with their guns out.

Of course, not knowing where the shooters were, they kept swinging around wildly. It didn't help that Faye moved to a new position while Danny went prone under the car he was using as cover.

One Faye was in position, Danny quickly shot them all in the legs making them scream as they went to the ground clutching their new wounds. They didn't have to deal with the pain long before Faye walked up and popped them all in the head.

Danny then stood and joined her in gathering any supplies from them before they went into the pharmacy and found the hostages in the back room.

Rather than waste time finding a key or picking the lock, Danny merely ordered them to step back before he kicked the door open showing a small group of people counting a man in a doctor's coat and two women, one in a doctor's coat and the other in a nurse's outfit.

"Thank God you both came when you did." The male doctor stated as he helped a woman out of the room.

"This is Agent Wraith; we've secured the hostages. From the looks of this clinic, there could be quite a few medical supplies still here. We'll gather up any we find for transport along with the people." Danny stated over the comms knowing that people in a rush usually missed things so there could be medication and other useful supplies still in the building.

[Copy that Agent, thank you. That could have gotten bad real fast without your interference. We'll get a team to their location right away for their retrieval as well as any medical supplies you find. ETA should be about four minutes.] The dispatcher stated in reply.

"Copy that, ETA four minutes. We'll hang for two just to be safe in case someone comes looking into the gunfire that was occurring." Danny stated and got confirmation before he looked to Faye, "Stand guard or search?" Danny asked as Faye shrugged and Danny pulled a coin out, "Heads I do security, tails I search?" Danny asked and Faye nodded before he flipped the coin and let it go in the air and let it fall to the floor where it landed with a thud.

"Okay, looks like I'm doing security." Faye stated as she moved out to just outside the clinic while the doctors and nurse began looking around the main area for medication, needles, injectors, bandages, and just about anything else that could be useful.

Danny went to the back of the clinic figuring that was where their storage of supplies would be, I mean you can't keep the expensive and narcotic shit out on the shelves where anyone could grab it after all. He had to kick in a few doors, but eventually he found the storage room and it was still full of boxes, both medication and supplies, and grinned, "Jackpot." Danny stated as he took another cube out and put everything inside it, even some things that didn't seem useful right off the bat, and continued searching before finding some clothing that looked to be there for charity donation or distribution and set them inside a cube as well.

Coming out, he found the JTF escort there and walked to the sergeant in charge. "Sir. I assume there were no supplies?" She asked and Danny shook his head before producing his cube for the sergeant to take.

"Listen very carefully to what I'm about to say. When you get back to base, take this cube to whatever area the medical wing wants supplies kept. Hold the cube out away from you towards an empty area, then press this green button right here. The supplies will be released into the area you point towards." Danny stated as he pointed to a button that was located just correctly that you couldn't push the button by accident, while the sergeant looked at the cube skeptically before Danny pulled another one out and tapped it making various guns he had collected come out.

"Holy shit!" The sergeant and a few others exclaimed upon seeing that.

"Yeah, I get that a lot, but remember what I said. Last thing I want is the supplies getting damaged because you picked the wrong area to release everything, there's at least 26 boxes in that cube." Danny stated making the sergeant nod slowly. "Good, then we'll head out and continue securing Chelsea." Danny stated as the JTF nodded and headed out for the BoO and Faye and Danny headed for the second contaminated area after Danny stored the guns again.

"Sir." One of the doctors called making Danny stop as they came up carrying a weapons case, "We found this while you were looking, figured it may do you some good." She continued as Danny nodded and put the case on a hood of a car before opening it.

"Not bad." Danny stated seeing a Surplus SVD sniper rifle and it had a few attachments inside too with a VX-1 Scope with 12x zoom, an extended magazine though it wasn't that much of an extension as it only added one round to the mag, a charcoal handstop, and an Omega Rifle Suppressor.

"Thanks." Danny stated as he put his Black Market T821 on the hood and began putting the rifle together before attaching his G36 to his harness and then disassembling the T821 and putting it in the case before storing it.

Danny nodded to the group before he and Faye left.

Passing an electronics store as West 22nd street and 8th Avenue, Danny had them go in and scavenge finding some parts, TVs, and phones that weren't damaged and Danny stored them since they could be used either as they were or for parts. They also eliminated a few more rioters, but nothing worth mentioning was gained or happened.

Upon arriving at the quarantine site, they saw it was in rougher shape than the last one since there was a lot more warning signs and more hazmat containment set up. Danny made sure to grab a few boxes of medical supplies that were left on a Police Hazmat ambulance as they passed while also doing a slight prayer for the various people that were still dead on the ground there.

Arriving at the site, they entered through an alleyway to a playground before ISAC both informed them that their current mask level was safe and pinged another phone and then accessed it when they picked it up.

[What's he doing now?] A male voice asked over what was clearly a phone call.

[He's going into a jewelry store.] A woman's voice answered, and she sounded anxious.

[Oh my God, you know what this means!] The male stated calmly.

[It doesn't mean anything.] The woman stated quickly.

[No grown man goes into a jewelry store at 11am on a Wednesday…] The man started before the woman cut him off.

[He's not the affair type, Alex.] The woman stated, though there was some doubt in her voice.

[Then why the hell are you following him?!] The now named Alex asked in exasperation.

"Idiots. He was probably getting her an anniversary gift and didn't want her to know." Danny stated shaking his head before they went to the scanner.

"Alert: Two Scanners detected, recommended action to be same as before." ISAC stated before Danny activated the first one and ISAC showed they had two minutes and 39 seconds to activate the other and then upload the data.

Moving through the playground enclosure, they found the second scanner at the base of a fire escape and Danny activated while Lau began climbing. Danny caught up with her on a nearby roof as she had taken cover and pointed at two men wearing hazmat gear combined with fire fighter gear, only both were carrying flamethrowers and machine guns.

"Dispatch, this is Agent Wraith, we've got sight of two unidentified males wearing a mixture of hazmat gear and carrying flame throwers, any information available?" Danny asked as they watched the time tick away to a two minutes.

[Agent, be advised, description sounds like two members of the Cleaners. They're a faction that's dedicated themselves to literally burning out the infection, they've fire bombed different areas and have gone in themselves to 'sanitize' the area. They don't care if innocents get killed, they are only concerned with burning the infection out.] Hamplestein reported causing Danny to take aim and pop both of them in the head before he and Faye moved in.

"Copy that." Danny stated as he and Faye got to the antenna and sent the data out.

[Data received. Thank you, Agents, the docs are already putting the data to use.] A different dispatcher spoke over the line.

"Copy that." Danny stated before finding another large gear crate, but found nothing worth having there so he sealed crate and then proceeded back to ground level with Faye, where they found another small gear box hidden among trash. It also contained nothing useful besides some gloves that were a little better quality than his current ones, so it was stored after he grabbed them. As they prepared to head out, ISAC pinged another phone nearby and they left the quarantine area and went down towards 7th Avenue a bit before finding it in an alleyway next to the contaminated zone.

[Hey J, guess who got seats to the game tonight?] A male voice, that Danny and Faye recognized as Alex from the last recording, asked.

[You got tickets?] A female voice, the same from the last call, asked.

[Lamar couldn't go so I was like – who do I know who's a giant hoops fan…] Alex stated leaving it open.

[I'm actually not feeling well.] The woman stated sounding a bit tired.

[You sure? Look out your window…] Alex stated and there was silence for a moment.

[What the!? Is that you in the limo?] She asked sounding surprised, touched, and shocked.

[So how 'bout it? You feeling better yet?] Alex asked and Danny could practically feel the grin on him.

"Wow, makes a move on his married friend, who may or may not be getting cheated on, classy." Danny stated since the timestamp for the two calls were only two weeks apart.

"Yeah, makes me wonder if he maybe set up the husband, but that's just paranoia talking probably." Faye stated as Danny nodded.

"Probably, though based on the date, she was likely infected when that call was made and if she went to a big sporting event…" Danny stated and Faye nodded already seeing how the spread could be massive there with everyone in such close quarters.

"Right. Moving on, shall we go see if we can find Mr. O'Brian?" Faye asked and Danny nodded.

"Miss Hamplestein, what do you have on your missing soldier?" Danny asked as Hamplestein was quiet a moment, no doubt pulling the files and information up.

[Private O'Brian, he's one of our best technicians, he was helping keep this place going before he… Hang on Agent, I'm getting a call.] Hamplestein stated as the line went quiet for a minute. [Agent, we've found O'Brian. Rioters have taken hostages near a building at the corner of West 21st and 8th Avenue. I swear I don't know what has happened to family and values nowadays.] Hamplestein stated making Danny shake his head at the last part.

"We're on our way." Faye stated as they headed out, somewhat glad to move away from the contaminated zone.

[Copy that, we have a small JTF squad waiting for your arrival to raid the building.] Hamplestein informed as Danny and Faye moved.

"Copy. Tell them to hold until we get there." Faye stated as the moved down the street.

Arriving at the scene, they found three JTF personnel, "Situation?" Danny asked.

"We got nine of them in this alleyway, hostages should be nearby but we can't be sure until we can clear this area." One stated making Danny nod.

"All right, we'll move in first, you guys hold back a minute. I don't want to risk more coming up this way and getting us pinned down." Danny ordered making them nod as they spread out and took positions while Faye and Danny moved in.

As they did, ISAC decided to be a bit distracting and ping another phone that was in the alleyway. Of course, the pinging drew the attention of the Rioters and three came to investigate before Danny and Faye shot them and a couple of the others.

The other five scrambled for cover only for Danny to shoot a grenadier's backpack causing it to explode and take the group out.

Before the two could move from cover, three more came rushing into the alleyway from across the way and Danny quickly picked them off before he reloaded his rifle, glad that he had stocked up on different types of ammo when they found that ammo box at the first quarantine zone.

"Accessing nearby devices. Location of Rioter Base confirmed." ISAC stated showing it was right across the street from them, in fact they had walked by the alleyway to said location when they were going to and from the second quarantine zone.

Danny grabbed the phone that was pinged before they got up to move in, and the two rolled their eyes at the so called "information" it held.

[Oh. Em. Gee. Did you see Aria's new video?] A clearly teenage girl's voice stated.

[Holy shit, it's so awesome! I can't believe her look! Did you hear she's dating the singer from that Swedish band?] A second teenage girl's voice commented as Danny rolled his eyes.

[What?! No way! He's on fleek! His hair is gorge!] The first squealed in both shock and excitement.

[I love him so much. She's like the luckiest girl in the world!] The second equally squealed.

[Get off the phone! You have to come see what's on the news!] A more mature female voice stated, showing Danny and Faye that this was likely recorded at the start of the outbreak.

[I gotta go, bae. Mom's gettin' jelly. Love you, lates!] The first stated sounding exasperated.

[Kk, see ya later! Call me!] The second stated sounding disappointed before the call ended.

"Ugh, gag me." Faye stated as Danny nodded while walking past the two Rioters they killed while listening to that… conversation take place.

Walking down the alleyway, they found a stairway access to a roof and climbed up before taking positions. A quick Pulse showed four on a landing just ahead of them, and about eight more within the building itself near the windows.

No doubt the eight were partying on a job well done while the four were keeping watch until it was their turn to party.

Faye moved up behind an air conditioning unit while Danny stayed behind a short dividing wall with his rifle. Once Faye was in position, Danny shot two of the Rioters in the head before they could react and Faye quickly popped out and shot the other two.

Naturally, the other eight began shooting out of the windows before a couple had the bright idea to jump down and try to rush them.

Danny shot those two before they even made it off the landing, but the others decided to follow their example and jumped out as well. Faye gunned down three of them as they were falling to the ground and Danny quickly picked off another one before he could get in cover.

"Grab that JTF pig, we need some leverage." One Rioter shouted to his only remaining ally, who went to a door on the landing only to get a bullet to his head. "Shit!" The first shouted as he started shooting wildly before Faye put him down with two shots to the chest.

"You good?" Danny asked and Faye gave a thumbs-up as they moved in on the door with the three JTF soldiers coming up behind them now.

Getting the door open, they found Private O'Brian and about a dozen people all restrained. Danny and the others quickly cut them free getting thanks from them all.

"This is Agent Lou; hostages have been secured." Faye stated as Danny went into the building to look for any supplies that the Rioters may have had.

[Great job Agent! I'll be sure to have some tuna sandwiches waiting for them when they arrive.] Hamplestein stated making Faye shake her head in amusement, glad that at least someone was upbeat and positive about things.

A few minutes later had him coming out, but instead of his G36, he had an LMG on his secondary. Faye could make out the same kind of scope and suppressor as his rifle, but it had a laser pointer and a slightly larger than normal ammo box/belt attached.

"Where to next?" Faye asked and Danny frowned as he checked their map.

"Let's find that supply drop. We can go hunting for Mason afterwards." Danny stated making Faye nod since the supplies could vanish never to be found again, Michelle Mason wasn't going to go into hiding.

"Let's go." She stated as they left and went down 8th Avenue before going up West 21st towards 9th Avenue.

"Hamplestein, what do you have on the supply drop?" Danny asked as they moved.

[We got a transponder signal on it when it was dropped, but the transponder isn't signaling anymore. We sent out a team to investigate, but they were hit by a bunch of Rioters before they could get close. You might have to do some grunt work to find it, I'm afraid.] She stated as Danny grunted.

"Copy that, we'll radio if there's any sign of it on our end. We'll secure transport of the supplies; I don't want to risk the teams getting hit on the way back to base by some nearby Rioters looking to take advantage of the situation." Danny stated as they continued to trek.

On the way, they found a CERA check and supply point that still had quite a few supplies. Not counting what was in the still sealed crates from CERA, there were three cases of canned food, over a dozen large jugs of water, and some sacks of flour. Naturally, Danny scooped them up and then continued with Faye.

Also along the way, they killed a few Rioters that were hiding out in a mechanic shop. Danny made sure they looted the area for tools, gasoline, cutting torches, and anything else that the the Rioters had stocked in there.

They also found another cellphone in the alleyway behind the shop and the message was dated to during the first week that the infection was classified as a pandemic.

[Hey, did you hear something about them closing the bridges tonight?] A male voice asked, clearly a Brooklyn native if the accent was anything to go by.

[First I heard about it. Who says?] A gruffer voice asked.

[Frank said he heard it on the radio. Says the national guard is doing a lockdown.] The first stated like it was no big deal.

[What is this shit…? Everyone getting all riled up over the god damn flu.] The second voice stated with a sigh.

[Yeah, it's messed up.] The first stated with a "what can ya do" tone in his voice.

[I've got bills to pay, man. And I can't pay no bills if I can't get out of the city.] The second one stated before the call was ended.

"Poor guys should have gotten out when they had the chance." Danny commented as Faye nodded before they continued moving towards the marked location helping any civilians they found along the way while also removing more Rioters.

Arriving at the transponder signal, they found that Rioters had already separated some of the items, but couldn't get them open without access codes no matter how much they pried and tried to force it.

"Fuck this shit! Just shoot the damn thing!" One Rioter stated before Danny popped him in the head and then a buddy of his while Faye quickly shot the other two.

"WARNING: Hostiles inbound!" ISAC alerted as Danny quickly used a Pulse to mark the incoming enemies, counting them to be a dozen or so.

"I'll cover you, get up that truck to the overpass!" Faye shouted knowing Danny was better for having the vantage point with his rifle.

"Got it." Danny stated before he pulled a tear gas grenade from one pouch and threw it towards the Rioters, giving both him and Faye cover while he moved and began scaling a hauler truck that still had its back tires up on the overpass while Faye fired on the Rioters thanks to ISAC having them marked on her HUD so she didn't need to "see" them to shoot them once they were marked.

Danny got to the top of the overpass and saw more of the supply drop and mentally swore since Hamplestein could have mentioned it was a multi part drop. Shaking those thoughts away for later, Danny leaned on the railing and began popping the Rioters in the head.

Those that he didn't hit, quickly scrambled to hide from him or fire at him to make him back off, but were subsequently shot by Faye as they thought Danny was the only attacker.

They couldn't take cover from Faye either as they were caught in a crossfire of her and Danny: taking cover from one put them in line with the other.

They were all dead within a minute.

"Alert: Hostiles inbound!" ISAC informed as a location was marked on the other side of the overpass.

"Faye, move in, I'll cover you from here." Danny stated as he moved to the other side and quickly started popping the Rioters as they closed in.

"I count ten still." Faye stated as she took cover and started firing on the Rioters after using her own Pulse to mark them.

"Nine." Danny corrected as he shot one in the head as he peaked around a corner.

He jerked though as a bullet impacted near him and saw more Rioters coming towards him along the overpass. "Shit. Faye, you're on your own for a minute, I got some company." Danny informed and took cover before firing on the Rioters, who all took cover and tried to shoot him.

"Copy that, I'll make do." Faye stated as she fired on a couple more before she was forced back into cover.

Danny pulled a flash bang grenade and tossed it forward before it exploded making all the Rioters shout in surprise and pain before Danny quickly shot four of them while they were disoriented before he aimed over the railing and shot two of Faye's to help her out a bit.

It worked as those that were shooting at Faye quickly started shooting at him to keep him away and Faye managed to change cover and shot two of them herself.

Danny then went prone and shot three of his in the legs before another round each put them down permanently.

An explosion down below distracted him a moment, letting the Rioters force him back a bit as they started firing on him and advanced.

Not wanting to push his luck too much, Danny swapped to his M249 and began blind firing around cover until no more bullets were coming towards him. He saw two more dead on the ground and let go of his M249 as he quickly stood and used his Ballistic Shield to block incoming shots while firing on them with his sidearm.

A few of the idiots tried to rush him, but were quickly put down with a few headshots. One idiot managed to get close, but was quickly smashed in the face by the shield before Danny pistol whipped him and then shot him in the head for his trouble.

Once ISAC didn't read any more threats up near him, he collapsed the shield and stored it before going back to the railing just in time to see Faye kill the last of her attackers. "You good?" Danny asked looking at her through the scope and seeing her right arm had a gash on it.

"Yeah, all good here." She stated giving a thumbs-up at him.

"All right, I'll secure the supplies up here and then be right down." Danny stated making her nod before he grabbed his M249 and reattached it before he started storing the supplies, weapons, and ammo from the overpass and then went down and did the same to the two other drops.

"Here." Danny stated as he took out a bandage and some salve and started patching up Faye's arm.

"It's nothing, really." Faye tried to protest.

"We're going into infected areas, best not to take any chances." Danny stated making her sigh and nod knowing an open wound in an infected area was not wise.

"Fine." She stated before going to her radio, "Agent Lau here, we've secured the supplies and handled the Rioters. What can you tell us about Michelle Mason?" Faye asked as Hamplestein came on the line.

[Good job Agents, we'll look forward to you dropping off those supplies. As for Michelle Mason, she's a real piece of work, a true cold blooded killer type. I'll upload her last known coordinates to you, but promise to be careful. She's taken quite a few lives of people that didn't go in fully prepared. Also, last we heard, she's got two lieutenants with her that are just as bad as she is and they swiped some body armor from a couple patrols they ambushed] Hamplestein informed making them grunt.

"Acknowledged, we'll be all right, thanks for the warning." Faye stated before Danny tied the bandages down and nodded to her before they moved to said location, a large courtyard for some row house type apartments just up the street from where they were, which meant the Rioters they just killed likely worked for her.

Entering through the front entrance, they moved slowly with Danny taking the left side and Faye taking the right.

"Scanning… Location confirmed on two value targets." ISAC stated as two points appeared on their HUD showing the two lieutenants. "Recommendation: eliminate lieutenants before engaging primary target." ISAC stated making Danny snort since that was rather obvious.

Taking position next to a large Christmas tree, Danny used a Pulse to see that the Lieutenant was there along with two grenadiers and three grunts. "Remember, headshot the lieutenant if you can, the body armor isn't going to stop multiple rounds, but it can stop just enough to be problematic." Danny stated as he couldn't get line of sight on the lieutenant.

"Roger that, maybe one of these guys will have something worth using. My secondary got caught in an explosion by the overpass. Thing's useless now." Faye stated since nothing that they had found and added to their, rather Danny's, storage was her style and she didn't want two guns that took the same ammo type since that would be rather dumb to do.

She was gonna need ammo soon and she'd rather have the secondary in the off chance she did in fact run out of ammo.

"If not, you'll just have to gut it up with something from storage or whatever Camp Hudson might have from supplies." Danny stated making her nod before he aimed at a grenadier and shot the backpack he had on causing it to explode killing him and two of the grunts.

"Shit!" The lieutenant shouted as he and the other two took cover and stayed there as Danny took a few shots against their cover making them tuck in even more.

While they were distracted with Danny, Faye moved up the right side and ambushed them shooting the grenadier and grunt before they could do anything while the lieutenant was able to move thanks to the body armor before Faye shot him in the leg.

He screamed in pain as he clutched at his leg before Faye put a round in his head. Grabbing the ammo and guns, which were just pistols again since the lieutenant's armor wasn't really anything to brag about, they moved up to a covered sitting area that had a glass roof over it and found an ammo box and grenade bag there.

Looting what they could use, they stored the box and moved into the other half of the courtyard.

Faye sent out a Pulse this time and found the other lieutenant on the ground with two guys holding baseball bats, which Danny decided to dub as Rushers rather than morons who charge into gunfire, and two grunts. However, above them on a landing over the other exit was their target Michelle Mason, but she had two grenadiers, two rushers, and three grunts with her.

"Make your first shot count, the minute we make trouble, Mason and her group are gonna join in the fun." Danny stated as Faye nodded and checked her magazine before signaling she was ready.

Danny took aim and popped the lieutenant in the head before quickly swiveling up and shooting one of the grenadiers' backpacks causing it to explode and take the other grenadier with him.

It also served to panic Mason and the rest of them as they quickly got to cover and didn't see Faye moving in until she shot the Rushers on the ground and the grunts in the head.

Of course, she had to quickly take cover as Mason and her grunts started firing down on her. The Rushers went for her, but Danny shot them both in the head before they could finish climbing down from the overhang.

"What are you pussies doing?! Move your asses down there and kill those assholes!" Mason ordered her remaining crew, who obeyed knowing they were gonna die if they didn't obey and would likely die if they did obey. At least obeying they had a chance… or so they thought.

Mason and one of them began firing on the two different locations to provide cover, but while they had their little chat, Danny had moved cover and was in a different position. Meaning that when the two grunts started climbing down, Danny shot them before they could even try to fight back.

"Move up." Danny ordered as he switched to his M249 and began firing all around Mason and her last grunt as they hid in cover. While doing so, Danny frowned as the gun's recoil was terrible and he was having to exert a lot of strength to keep it aiming where he wanted it to. Definitely something he'd switch out first chance he got.

While he did that and kept Mason and her grunt suppressed behind cover, Faye moved to a scaffolding and climbed it to get to Mason's location where she promptly shot the grunt only to get charged by Mason and two started grappling over Faye's M4.

Faye grunted and kicked Mason in the leg, dislocating her knee before she headbutted her and then threw her over the railing to the ground below. Mason groaned as she tried to get up, but a quick shot from both Faye and Danny put her down for the count.

Danny gathered any loot that he could from the corpses before heading up and joining Faye, who was looking at a shotgun, which Danny assumed came from a weapon's case that was near her. "Benelli Super 90 shotgun, not sure which model but it's irrelevant at this point." Danny stated before he pulled out a black vertical grip and tossed it to her, which she caught and attached to the underbarrel of the shotgun.

"Hamplestein, we've eliminated Michelle Mason and her entire crew. Once we check out the water supply issue, we'll be returning to camp to drop the supplies off before moving on." Faye stated over the comms as Danny stored everything worth having, including three police issue duffle bags that had several gun parts in them.

[Copy that Agent, you've done great work so far and have no doubt saved a lot of lives with your actions. I can't thank you enough. As for the water supply, we've got readings of continual pressure droppage in that area. Be careful since we've gotten reports from other districts that the Cleaners have messed with the water supply to ensure sprinkler systems can't engage when they start burning buildings.] Hamplestein replied.

"Copy that, we'll check it out and then report in, though you may want to post a team there after we clear it to ensure no one can mess with it in the future if it is the Cleaners." Danny stated as Hamplestein gave confirmation before Faye and Danny continued on.

Following their GPS, they moved down 9th Avenue and just hit West 20th Street when ISAC spoke again, "Alert: Division Agent Watch detected, tracking. Agent Identified as Michael Trudeau" ISAC stated before a way point was in front of them showing it was a small ECHO feed that could direct any fellow Agents to a location if needed.

"Come on." Danny stated as they moved on West 20th Street towards where they needed to go for the water supply.

Reaching the manhole that led to the water supply, they found another ECHO waypoint that was directing them down into the sewer as well.

Before jumping down in, Danny went to a nearby electronics store and grabbed anything useful from there since at this point there was never gonna be enough handy.

Following the path to the water supply and the Agent signal wasn't hard since there was only one way to go with the different sewer gates closed up.

They found the Agent watch in a steam pipe area, most likely a service tunnel access to the sewers. "Accessing: Files and data copied. Processing will take a few minutes." ISAC stated before Danny pocketed the watch and they followed the service tunnel to the water supply.

Entering, they found four Cleaners there dressed just like the last two were. Danny carefully aimed and popped two in the head while Faye shot the other two, reason for Danny being careful is that if he shot the tanks on their backs they'd explode and that could damage the piping and controls for the area.

"Scanning… Scans show that main valve has been sealed off. Unseal to begin restoring water pressure. Warning, release valve also sealed, will need to be opened upon proper pressure reached or cascading failure can occur." ISAC informed as they looked at each other.

"I'll take ground this time." Faye stated making Danny nod as he moved along the walkway to a corner position so he could see more of the area while Faye jumped the railing and landed in a crouch before she moved to the primary valve and opened it.

"Alert: Water pressure climbing." ISAC stated before a status bar came up on their HUD showing ISAC's estimated pressure level before it reached optimal levels.

"What the hell is going on?" A muffled male voice stated from an entry point.

"Warning: Hostiles incoming." ISAC stated causing Faye and Danny to take positions before they fired as the Cleaners came in.

"Shit! We got a hostiles trying to turn the water back on!" A Cleaner shouted as he tried to take cover only to get shot in the head for his trouble.

Danny then moved his view to another entry point as ISAC marked more incoming. He popped the first three in the head, counting one that had a makeshift riot shield and a fireman's axe as weapons, before he had to swivel back to his left and fire on more.

Based on the amount of movement he could hear, they must have sent two or three squads to secure the water supply and shut it down.

Deciding it was worth it, Danny loaded his Sticky Bomb launcher and fired it across the way from him letting it latch onto the upper doors before he reloaded and fire one at the lower doors as well.

Danny then turned and fired on a Cleaner grunt that came towards him before he used Pulse and saw enemies at the doors he trapped. As soon as they opened the doors and stepped in, Danny detonated his bombs causing a large explosion as the bombs detonated the tanks that the Cleaners were carrying.

Luckily it just created a large fireball leaving the pipes undamaged, but the same couldn't be said for the Cleaners.

"Alert! Secondary valve pressure reached. Relieve pressure immediately." ISAC stated as another valve was highlighted.

Danny quickly tossed two smoke grenades at the main doors to buy some time as Faye began opening the valve and Danny popped anyone that came through the smoke. Seeing one preparing a grenades, Danny shot said grenade and was momentarily surprised when, instead of exploding, it set a good five foot area on fire.

"Faye, heads up, they got homemade incendiary grenades. Might be homemade phosphorus or it could bathtub napalm. Watch yourself." Danny warned as he switched to his M249 and began lighting up the opposite doorway since the blaze was stifling the Cleaners coming through the other door.

"Got it." Faye stated as she tossed a shock grenade into the blaze letting the electrical discharge stun some enemies while any more grenadiers got their ordinance triggered increasing the blaze and causing a couple explosions as well.

"Confirmed: Water pressure stabilized and optimal." ISAC informed letting them know they only needed to clear the area of hostiles to be finished.

Danny, having finished mowing down anything trying to come through the opposite doors, let go of his LMG just in time for a few rounds to slam into it breaking the ejector before Danny pulled his sidearm and began popping more heads.

Faye mopped up the last of the lower hostiles with a few more rounds, but the two held their ready positions as they both released a Pulse.

"Scanning….. One moment… No hostiles detected within 100 yards." ISAC informed making them relax as they stood and Danny stored his M249 since it was useless until he could repair it.

Looting the Cleaners gave him a new option in the form of a Military P416 assault rifle and he quickly swapped most of the attachments from his M249 to it, but left the C79 scope on that it came with since a 3.4x zoom was preferable to a 12x zoom for this. It was fine for an LMG because usually you it's for mopping up an area, not precision so having a 12x scope could help in some instances, but not for this assault rifle.

Sighing, he contacted Hamplestein again, "This is Wraith, water's flowing and all hostiles are eliminated. We'll seal up the doors so that you can only gain access through the manhole on West 20th Street." Danny informed getting a sigh of relief from the other end.

[Honey, you've both been a gems, I mean it, real gems. How I got through the winter before you got here is anyone's guess! I got a nice thank you gift for when you get back here. Drop on by and see me won't you? I mean… my own children won't hahaha – maybe you could when you find a minute?] Hamplestein stated making them look at each other.

Clearly the woman was lonely.

"Right, we'll be back soon." Danny stated as they started to leave the way they came after scavenging any gear and supplies that the Cleaners brought in with them and left in the rest of the facility. Once they cleared the building, Danny got to work accessing the various panels in the main valve room and sealed the doors shut ensuring no one got in there except the manhole they used. Once that was done they started back up the tunnel to the street.

As they got back topside, ISAC decided to chime in with some information. "Processing of Agent files and data complete. Alert: Possible intel location located. Retrieving Coordinates now. Wanting: other locations still being processed." ISAC stated as a location a ways off from them pinged on the map: The route to there being through a subway entrance at West 21st street and 8th avenue.

"Here. I'll check it out, you deliver the good news and supplies to the camp." Danny stated as he handed Faye the medical supplies, guns, supplies, and ammo cubes.

"You sure? It shouldn't take that long to check out and come back, unless it's Rioters having a base." Faye asked and Danny shook his head.

"No, it's fine. You can start unloading supplies while I head there and back to camp. It will save us some time and we can head for the Post Office sooner." Danny stated as Faye gave him a look.

"You just don't want to deal with Hamplestein giving thanks for what we've done." Faye stated and Danny shrugged. "Whatever, see you in a bit." She stated as they tapped wrists and headed off in opposite directions.

As Danny trekked, he made sure to check any and all ambulances, UPS, Delivery, and police vehicles for anything usable while also marking the locations of any fallen JTF troops he came across so he could come back later and recover the bodies for proper burial. He'd take the dog tags normally, but depending on how long it took to get things underway to collect and bury their dead properly, the bodies could decompose and there may not be any identifiers left for the bodies.

He still continued to help different people with food, water, or basic first aid before directing them to Camp Hudson, though not everyone took his advice. Still, with the Rioters now broken for this area and the Cleaners having lost a good sized force would force them to back off for now, meaning that the area was safe enough to stay in if they so desired.

Arriving at the subway, he saw it was the 14th street blue line entrance and walked down it. He idly noted the various carousal horses placed on the walls figuring this was a popular subway for kids or something. As he entered the main area, he began rummaging through luggage and backpacks that were left behind finding some clothes, a few sidearms, some knives, and some basic supplies including a weapons case on the other side of the turnstiles before he descended to the actual subway.

There was a lot to sort through down there, plenty of backpacks, suitcases, duffle bags, and various other transport bags to pick through along with two JTF standard gear cases. Neither had anything he wanted, but he'd still take them for the camp or base.

Following the ping, he found both a phone and a map of the subway lines and a hand drawn map. Holding the hand drawn one up to the light, he got an idea and overlayed it with the subway line map and saw that the hand drawn map was marking where access to the subway was still open and marking how far down the line the tunnels went before they were blocked.

"That will be useful." Danny murmured to himself as he pocketed the map and then accessed the phone.

[Go for Rachel! Your message won't leave itself!]

[Hey Rach, just calling to see if you're ok. We left it on pretty bad terms, but I do want to make sure you're all right. They say this thing's gonna get worse before it gets better, and… Look I don't know if I have the right to tell you what to do, but keep off the needle, okay? If you need an ear, let me know, and I'll… be there if you need me.]

Danny hummed a bit as he saw the timestamp for the call was during the second week of the pandemic. The call wasn't useful but the map certainly would be. If they knew how far someone could get in the tunnels and where they could exit, then they had an advantage.

Although, Danny did notice the map didn't show street access via subway grates. While they were heavy, they weren't impossible to remove if you wanted/needed especially if you removed them with help before you went into the tunnels.

Doing one more look through, Danny found nothing else usable and headed back up the way he came since the rest of the tunnels and access points were sealed or blocked off.

Once he was topside, he saw that ISAC had pinged another location on West 23rd towards 7th Avenue and went towards it.

Arriving, at the sight, he found it was an ECHO and activated it showing JTF riot police squaring off against some violent protestors. [We were told there was shelter here. That we'd be safe.] A desperate man was pleading while the protestors behind him were getting more rage fueled.

[Please, my babies are starving.] A woman was begging on her knees in front of the JTF.

[This is your last warning. Vacate the area now, or be forcefully removed. You are interfering with-] A JTF officer was stated before a protestor threw a bottle of beer at them.

[Fascist motherfuckers!] Another yelled before throwing a bottle, but his was a Molotov cocktail.

[Son of a bitch!] The officer stated as a beer bottle hit her in the face before the Molotov hit the shield line and chaos ensued following that.

Danny sighed as he could see both sides of the problem: Protestors were tired of all the shit and eventually reached the breaking point, and the JTF weren't exactly being compassionate or understanding of their problems and things only escalate from there.

On his way back, he passed another garage and store and grabbed anything useful from there before continuing on his way to Camp Hudson. Of course, he also noticed more JTF patrols and figured that with the different situations handled, they could spare more personnel for patrolling and helping out those that hadn't gone to the camp for shelter yet.

He stopped at 9th Avenue as ISAC pinged another phone, this one in an alleyway between 22nd and 21st and was on the west side of 9th Avenue. It took a minute to find it as it was inside a private parking area behind some crates likely that someone was using the parking area as a shelter.

[Can't take your call, but you know what to do.] A female voice, obviously a voicemail recording, stated as ISAC accessed the phone.

[Hey Kim… um, this is Alvaro. Um… I just wanted to call now with y'know everything that's going on here and… well basically I just wanted to let you know that I… um… that I love you. Always have. Since we were kids. And… Well, I hope that you're well, somewhere, and that if things turn out okay… I just hope you're okay, Kim. Bye.] A male voice, Alvaro according to the message, stated and Danny scoffed lightly as he continued on towards Camp Hudson.

Nothing like an end of the world type deal to make someone get the balls to confess to their longtime crush.

Part of Danny hoped the guy managed to get through to her and they weren't among the dead scattered throughout the city. He knew it was unlikely, but it was always nice to try and be positive.

Once he entered the borders of the camp, the same way he and Faye had left a few hours ago, he saw more people in line to enter. Included among those, were the few he had helped with supplies or saved from Rioters as he went and all of them waved and nodded towards him in thanks as he walked.

Entering, he found Faye and Snake both at the situation tent that Hamplestein was at going over a few things before they saw him. "Sector's clear, for now at least. Grab some food and water for yourself and then we'll head to the Post Office." Snake stated as he nodded at Danny, not at all bothered by the bandages that were still on his head and face.

The three then nodded to Hamplestein before walking towards the food tent, "What'd Hamplestein say when you confirmed all the problems were currently handled?" Danny asked with a smirk as he walked with Faye and Snake.

"Oh, you know. Good job, the Division did a good job training you, wish my kids and husband were as good and caring as you, maybe you could give pointers when it's all over, that sort of thing." Faye stated causing Danny to snort in amusement before she handed him some new magazines for his weapons and a new chest piece: A heavier vest than his current one, but that was due to it being more reinforced than what he had on.

He raised an eyebrow at her and she just shrugged and motioned to the shops making him nod. He also noted her shotgun had a scope on it along with a new vertical grip plus she had her own vest on too.

Stopping at a tent to eat and drink something before heading to the BoO, they brought up the file on the fallen agent to show Snake:

Last Name: Trudeau
First Name: Michael
Age: 29
Place of Birth: New Orleans, LA.
Former Job: Professional Poker Player
Place of Residence: Brooklyn, NY.
Blood Type: B-
Religion: Agnostic

Psychological Profile

Chess prodigy as a child. Attended Tulane on a track scholarship and graduated with a double major in physics and game theory.

Worked in the financial sector for 5 years. Later quit to become a professional poker player. Has won 8 public tournaments but makes his real living in high-stakes private games.

Thrives on risk and is driven by competition. However, his need for excitement isn't necessarily an indication of reckless behavior. Always calculates the odds carefully and only takes chances if the percentages appear to be in his favor. Ruthless in seizing the advantage when it presents itself.

Is a master strategist and an expert of reading other people's motives and intentions. As a former collegiate decathlete, his physical skills are exceptional.

"Might have been nice to have him with us." Faye stated knowing no Division Agent removed their watch unless they were dead or needed to ensure it couldn't be seized on their capture.

"We could have used a lot of the agents that were in the first and second wave. But no use dwelling in the past, we gotta push forward. No time to sit and mope." Snake stated as they finished their food along with Danny before they got up and began heading out with Snake going with them since he was capable of moving keeping up with them.

However, they paused as the passed the communications tent, [We're being fucking overrun! There's Rioters everywhere, they're practically flooding the fucking streets! If we don't get backup soon we're going to lose the base!] A frantic voice came over the radio.

"I…I'm sorry. We've got wounded, sick, people jumping the fences. We don't have anyone to spare. There's… there's no one coming. I'm sorry." The radio operator stated making Danny scowl at hearing that.

[I don't give a shit, I'll take anything, anything! Grab a gun and come yourself if you have to! We need any help possible or we WILL LOSE THE BASE!] The soldier from before stated and Danny walked up and grabbed the mic before the operator could respond.

"This is Agent Wraith with the Division; myself and one other agent are en route to you right now. We'll be there asap, dig in and hold the line as long as you can." Danny stated as he put the mic down.

[Copy Agent, we've no intention of letting these bastards get the Base, we got a lot of scared shitless people depending on us, but we are beginning to run low on ammunition and healthy bodies. So the faster you get here, the better!] The soldier replied.

"Copy that, we're on our way." Danny stated before he punched the radio operator out of his chair.

The operator clutched his cheek as the other JTF looked at Danny in surprise. "Get this piece of shit out of here, I want him gone from this outpost!" Danny ordered as he grabbed his rifle.

"Sir, I-" The operator started before Snake pointed his pistol at him with a glare.

"We have secured Chelsea and have plenty of supplies now. But you'd rather protect yourself than help your comrades and New York!" Danny growled making the operator flinch.

"We need to keep the camp secure, the injured-" The operator tried to speak but Snake flicked the safety off his gun silencing him.

"If we lose the Base then we lose New York! We can't launch operations across New York from here nor can we coordinate our deployed forces! And we sure as fuck aren't pulling out of New York like you and a bunch of other spineless cowards want, which makes me think you want the base to fall so we have to!" Snake stated this time looking at all the nearby personnel with some ducking their heads and finding the ground better to look at while a few were glaring at the operator. "You're a piece of shit coward and have no place here, so either get the fuck out of here or grow a set of balls and actually help resolve the situation. New York is NOT finished and I will personally die before I give up on a city whose people are in desperate need of help!" Snake growled before turning to Faye. "Get going, I'll find my own way, since clearly there's no one reliable here." Snake ordered as Faye shouldered her gun and nodded.

Danny handed Snake a cube, "Grab any extra ordinance, ammo, and supplies you can, they're gonna need it from the sounds of it and if these cowards want to retreat then we'll just take the supplies with us where they can be of use." Danny stated as he glared at the soldiers around him before walking off and Faye quickly followed Danny, leaving the JTF of Hudson behind.

If they were gonna be cowards and waste of space, then they weren't worth their time and effort.

"Get this piece of shit coward out of my sight. Any more of you too cowardly to do anything useful for New York can get the fuck out too. New York, the JTF, and certainly not me and my agents need unreliable and cowardly personnel to back them up. And from the sound of your Captain Benitez, he'd be ashamed of you all as well." Snake stated as he went to the area serving as an armory for the time being and planned to load up and go help reinforce the BoO even if it was only him that did so.

One determined soldier was worth more than 50 half-assed fools with guns.

He knew that Danny and Faye could handle the attack on the Base, he just hoped there was more personnel that could help and were willing to do so before things got really bad.

Right now, he needed to get armed and head out himself.

DONE. Hope you all enjoyed the chapter!

Just a reminder: Danny's gear from this chapter onwards is going to be what I find as I play through the game again. So, if you decide you want to play, don't be surprised if you don't get the same drops or even if you get the exact same drops that I did.

DANNY'S CURRENT GEAR (identified/confirmed):

Primary Weapon: Surplus SVD sniper rifle with a VX-1 Scope with 12x zoom, an extended magazine (adds two rounds to the base giving Danny 12 rounds before reloading) a charcoal handstop, and an Omega Rifle Suppressor.

Secondary: A Military P416 assault rifle with a C79 scop with 3.4x zoom, Omega Rifle Suppressor, Coyote Tan vertical grip, and an extended box mag (gives Danny seven more rounds giving him 37 before he has to reload).

Sidearm: Military M9 with a Ti-RANT Suppressor.

Chest: Heavy Duty Vest

Backpack: Recruit Backpack

Mask: Heavy Duty Mask

Gloves: Heavy Duty Gloves

Sidearm Holster: Recruit Holster

Knee's: Guard knee pads.

FAYE'S CURRENT GEAR (identified/confirmed):

Primary Weapon: Lightweight M4 Assault Rifle with a red dot sight, muzzle break, a spring-loaded magazine, a coyote brown hand slide, and a sling. (Sling is not an attachment in the game, but it's functional for a few different things).

Secondary Weapon: Super 90 shotgun with a coyote tan vertical grip, Heavy magazine spring, and a C79 scope with a 3.4x zoom.

Sidearm: Military M9 with a Ti-RANT Suppressor.

Chest: Heavy Duty Vest

Knee's: Guard knee pads.

Question for above: Do you want the game stats for the gear as it changes or you good just having the names and loadouts?

Also, don't got thinking that Danny and Faye's easy time so far, and yes this has been EASY, is gonna last. The Rioters are essentially the cannon fodder of the game to get you used to the mechanics and workings. The other three enemy groups are NOT as nice and one is definitely more lethal than the others. So, the next couple areas will still be a bit easy for them, but it's not gonna last.

Oh, and I don't know how long chapters will be, some may be extra long and some may be shorter, it will vary from location to location and chapter to chapter.

Special shout out and thanks to my supporters: Lyndsay Schwartzkopff, Jeff Broderick, Terminator1738, Andrew Stephens, KidChaos, Shadow9Fox, Josh Robbins, Janus Christoffer Sønderskov, Zenkichi, Patrick Ferro, Kieron Acharya, Smilix, Dylan Page, William Skondras, Alex Bauer, Marley Corcoran, Tom Khoury, and paul garthwait.
