(Makarov)
Being a Guild Master was a very annoying job. It tied him down to mountains upon mountains of paperwork, to annual meetings with other Guild Masters, plus that complete moron of Jose Porla. The history between their guilds went all the way back to the founding days, but Makarov had no interest in a petty rivalry so he mostly ignored Jose's taunts.
When he wasn't drunk, that is.
He missed his old days where he travelled around doing quests for his Guild as an S Class Mage, but alas, Master Precht had decided to leave to explore the world and dropped those responsibilities on his head. Plus the Guild's greatest secret.
And now, his own son, Ivan, had somehow found out some old documents Precht forgot to erase about Lumen Histoire, and had become obsessed to find out more about it for some reason. That kid started rubbing him the wrong way since he put a damn Dragon Lacrima inside Laxus in a very painful procedure that scarred the boy's face, when he wasn't even two years old!
He breathed out softly to calm his anger and gazed out towards the sea, the reflection of the full moon up above on it's surface.
It was a calm night, yet he couldn't help but feel like something was about to happen.
And that feeling was proven right when a monstrous magical aura fell on his shoulders the very next second, squeezing the breath out of his lungs as his entire office started cracking, the wood of the walls and floors starting to groan under the immense and utterly horrifying pressure.
"Makarov Dreyar?" A female voice asked, and he found himself gulping his soul back down as he slowly turned his head to stare at the owner of it.
His eyes would have very likely popped out of their sockets if he wasn't afraid for his life. The woman standing in front of him was a beauty, even with her messy appearance and torn clothing.
A tall body with wide curves that he never saw on any other woman, long and messy scarlet hair, and a pair of glowing slitted dark purple eyes that were staring at him.
His eyes trailed down to the bundle of cloth in her arms, and they widened when he noticed a little arm stick out from the cloth. A newborn baby very likely.
He pulled his eyes away from the bundled cloth when he felt the woman's magical aura grow even stronger, and he swore he saw what looked like scales spread across her arms.
His mind worked in overdrive to analyze the information he had on hand. The woman was powerful, terrifyingly so, her magical aura alone dwarfed the one Master Precht had before leaving. His own included.
She was also incredibly on edge, very likely because of the child, which is also very likely hers. Incredibly overprotective of her child, but willing to overstep her boundaries to seek help.
"That's me." He nodded, doing his best to relax his nerves and also appear as harmless as possible. He didn't want to anger the clearly very stressed woman. "How may I help you?" He kept himself seated on his groaning chair, and relaxed when he felt the horrendous magical aura coming from the woman slowly disappear. He did notice how her glowing eyes darted around for a few more seconds, possibly to assess any threats, before ultimately going back to normal.
"I'd like to join your Guild." His eyes widened considerably at that, completely taken off guard by the request. He had expected a request for help with her daughter, not a request to join Fairy Tail! "If you need an incentive, then I have information you might find useful about the Alvarez Empire that I can share." Her words almost made him fall of his chair, but his heart definitely skipped a beat at that.
The Alvarez Empire had been growing increasingly powerful over recent years, and for some reason they seemed to have a bone to pick with Fiore and Ishgar as a whole. Hell, they even had the guts to kick away the Magic Council branch that was going to settle there to watch over the Guilds and make sure they didn't try anything.
He respected them for that since almost all Magic Council members were stuck up morons, but it also filled him with worry.
"This…" He sat straight, mulling over his words while staring straight at the woman, his brows knit together in thought. "Why Fairy Tail? There are many other Guilds around Fiore for you to join. Unless…" He was about to shake away that traitorous thought away, but paused when he saw the woman raise her free hand up, then pointed down with her finger.
His brows furrowed even more as he gazed at the finger that was pointing down at the floor. What was she trying to conve-
His eyes blew open and he sat up abruptly, staring at the woman with newfound wariness.
She knew about Lumen Histoire!
"The Spriggan Emperor helped in the creation of the 'weapon' you have sealed deep under the Guild." Makarov reeled back in shock at her words, the beating of his own old heart growing so loud that it was making him go deaf. "I have no interest in it myself, but the future plans of that moron will bring danger to my daughter, and I can't let that stand." The woman scoffed, and he found himself relaxing at her words. Being a user of Light Magic, he was capable of knowing when people were bad or good. He didn't rely too much on that, but right now it was a good help.
The woman was both good and evil. A perfect mix of both, albeit she seemed to lean more towards good now, perhaps for her daughter. He had no reason to trust her, but his gut was screaming at him that he'll come to regret not accepting her.
He sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose, then simply crossed his arms behind his back and walked around his desk and towards the door in a very relaxed manner. Putting on a bravado was his forte when he was younger, it helped him escape a lot of ass beatings from Master Precth. The old man's cane was a horrifying weapon.
"Do you have a place to stay?" He asked as he opened the door, feeling the woman follow after him just a few seconds later. "If not, you can take one of the beds in the infirmary. There should be a crib for your daughter down in the basements too." Good thing they kept all this stuff around in case one of their members ends up having a kid and needs help with it. The most recent one was Laxus, his dear and adorable grandson who was now four years old, and since Ivan wasn't much of a father he had been the one to take care of him the whole time.
"That would be lovely." The woman hummed as she followed him downstairs and to the bar, clearly more relaxed now. "Could I have some milk for my daughter? She hasn't eaten in a while, and I am unable to feed her." The worry in her voice made him smile softly, and he simply nodded and jumped behind the bar to procure what the woman needed.
This night was going to be a long one.
(Irene)
"My name is Irene. Irene Belserion." I told Makarov as I fed the very adorable looking Erza. I had to hold myself back from smooching her face all over in front of the short old man, but I'll surely do it later.
Speaking of the short old man, I was so worried for Erza that I didn't even realize that I was tall now. Like damn, this must be the first time I could actually look down at someone.
My old body was short as hell, this one is thicc and tall as hell. These tits are incredibly heavy though. And jiggly. Noice. I'll check myself out in a mirror later, because come on, I'm a Milf now, I'd totally fuck myself.
"And this adorable little girl is Erza Belserion." I poked the chubby cheek of little Erza, incredibly happy and proud of myself for giving her the Belserion surname. She deserves better than fucking 'Scarlet', damned blue haired emo dumbass with far too many mental conflicts and shit.
Besides, Irene's previous surname is too hard to pronounce, and I prefer Belserion honestly, especially after I 'reviewed' the memories I had of the massive dragon. The guy was a wonderful being, and totally didn't deserve dying like that.
"If I may ask, how do you know about Alvarez's motives for war?" Makavor spoke up, finally deciding to cut to the chase as I stroked Erza's cheek lovingly. Truly adorable, definitely would have another kid if World Destruction wasn't so close.
"I met the Spriggan Emperor around a year ago. He doesn't reside within Alvarez, but instead travels around Fiore." These news make Makarov falter, but I halt him before he could speak up by raising a finger. "I won't tell you about his appearance or identity, it is best he keeps on thinking that nobody knows who he is for a while. He won't take any drastic measures for at least two decades or so, but I doubt he won't do something drastic if he is pushed too far." I have at least ten years or more until Natsu and co. come from the past, plus their clandestine girl and dragon they do not know about.
I'll have to beat the shit out of Animus and put a collar on the guy before he takes control of Stella and goes insane, then put my hands on the Dragon Cry since it'll surely be a perfect weapon for me.
"Why would he wait so long?" Makarov asks with furrowed brows, sitting cross-legged on the counter top. I still can't get used to how small he is.
"Several reasons. Face and Etherion are the main deterrents that stop him from currently invading, but acquiring Lumen Histoire is just his Plan B, his Plan A revolves around something that will happen on the seventh day, of the seventh month, of the year x777." Speaking of years, the reason the 'X' is there is because it marks the New Era. The Era before the 'X' was known as the 'Disaster Era' and it was something so horrifying that even Belserion refused to talk about it.
A mighty dragon afraid of speaking about what happened during the 'Disaster Era', that gives me chills too. Just what the fuck happened during that time to scare even dragons?
"That's around twelve years from now." So the year is x765, that's good to know. I have a lot of time to grow my own power and prepare the perfect training plan for those brats. I'll also start training Laxus since he is definitely around.
How the fuck did Natsu miss the dragon scent lingering around the guy until the dude revealed he had Dragon Slaying Magic? Plot reason bullshit. I can smell a slight dragon scent all over the Guild.
Wait, didn't Alvarez try and invade Fiore a few years after x777? I could probably use that chance to body one of their Spriggans, possibly more.
"All we can do to prepare is train the new generation and prepare ourselves. I already have a lot of contingency plans ready, but I alone am not enough to deal with this." That's a lie. I know very well that I can destroy the Alvarez Empire without breaking a sweat. Meteors can be very useful to destroy a city, or to kill annoying little shits. The only reason I am not doing that is because I need it's military for the future and it's Spriggans.
I'll just tape a crown on Natsu's head and leave him to handle the damn thing once we slap some sense into Zeref.
"You're a very good person, aren't you?" Makarov suddenly stated with a soft smile, and I could only snort and shake my head. I wouldn't give a fuck if this world were to suddenly combust into flames. I don't care about it at all.
"You are misunderstanding my intentions. I am doing all of this just to keep my daughter safe, else I really wouldn't care." He snorted softly and shook his head at my words, but simply decided to drop it at that.
Perhaps he is a little right though. If I truly wanted to just protect my daughter, then what's stopping me from just focusing on creating a spell to cross dimensions? The existence of other dimensions is shown in canon, and perhaps there are many more aside from Edolas and Elentair ones. Finding another shouldn't be too hard, yet I can't really bring myself to do it.
Is it because of my other me being a slightly nice person, or is it because of Irene? Perhaps the memories of my time with Belserion are influencing me a bit too much, since one of his last wishes was for me to remain the same and keep the drive of uniting the world and bringing peace between the races.
A foolish dream that bought endless destruction, but one that the small sane part of Irene still believes in.
It'll take a while for the old me and Irene to fuse completely, or perhaps we never will, but we can definitely agree on something.
Erza is and will always be our main concern, no matter what.
All plans fail? We can escape to Edolas and find some other place to stay and live.
Even if my own daughter will come to hate me for it.
(One Month Later)
"This is too hard!" The small blonde haired boy in front of me yelled, throwing his hands in the air while dropping on his ass, sweat covering his face as he grumbled.
I couldn't help but smile softly at that as I cuddled baby Erza close to my chest, giving her a kiss on the forehead, one of many, before standing up and walking down the wooden steps and onto the dirt ground at the back of the Guild.
"You are just starting out, so of course it's hard." He grumbled further as I knelt down and patted his head, making him grumble softly as his cheeks flushed. I truly have a soft spot for kids. "You are trying to force it out, but that's not how it's done." I rose a finger and waved it in the air, making his bright eyes widen as the air gathered right in front of my fingers, the concentrated together and gained a texture similar to water, a slight rumble to it.
I flicked it forth, watching as Laxus awed when the Aerial Enchantment flew through the air with a loud whine before exploding far into the sea ahead.
"Ethernano is like water. Let it flow through you, do not force it out, it'll just give you headaches." I instructed him as he excitedly stood up while nodding. His control over his own magic was incredibly hard, mostly because his reserves were outright massive for a kid. But the other reason was a deplorable one.
Ivan had forced the Dragon Lacrima inside of him when he was young, and the procedure was done horribly. This made Laxus's reserves grow bigger, but also grow more chaotic, thus making it hard for him to learn how to control them.
Makarov had tried multiple times to instruct the kid, but Ivan takes that as a challenge and always stops the old man from teaching Laxus. He tried stopping me from teaching him too, but I turned the fucker into a roach and left him in a bottle in Makarov's office.
Makarov did not turn him back to normal until the day ended, much to my amusement.
Since then the moron hasn't tried anything, other than either sending lustful glances or glares my way. Not the first ones I've received since I've joined the Guild, so I am very used to them.
"Easier said than done." The boy grumbled, but quickly took a deep breath to calm himself and closed his eyes. Laxus is incredibly talented, possibly even more so than Natsu, and I'll make sure this talent of his shines brightly and he doesn't fall into childish rage once his father is kicked out. The man is already showing signs o turning into a deranged animal, with him bringing his team on dangerous missions over and over while also shunning his son and trying to stop his growth, clearly afraid of the immense potential Laxus has.
How pathetic.
Speaking of talent, my adorable Erza has a lot of magic in her too! Plus, I have a feeling she'll be a Dragon Slayer this time around, mostly because Plot doesn't exist here. The fact that Irene was her mother was added right after she appeared, thus Erza remained a normal human with normal magic.
But now? Now Erza is possibly the first perfect half human half dragon to ever exist. She can sleep, and I checked with magic that she can taste things, but she also cries a lot due to her hearing being very strong, so I always keep up a spell to dull noise around her.
Also, her eyes sometimes become slits, especially when she cries or when she is hungry. Plus, she has a faint draconic scent to her, and has one hell of a grip.
Makarov learned that the wrong way when he tried to pull the 'got your nose!' game with her, only to have his thumb bent the wrong way when an adorably angry Erza grabbed it.
A mighty Wizard Saint defeated by a one month old baby.
"Whoa…" I perked up when I heard Laxus's voice, and I smiled when I noticed the bright golden sparks dancing around his hands. The way his eyes are sparkling is very adorable too. Damn me and my soft spot for children. "This feels funny…" He waved his hands around, clearly trying to shoot the sparks around his hand or something, but ended up pouting when nothing happened.
"Remember, magic follows your will, your thoughts. Give it a command, and it shall follow." His eyes widened, and he stepped away after throwing a glance towards Erza. He'll truly become a good big brother for my adorable little girl. Heh, I've caught him calling himself 'Big Brother Laxus' around Erza when he thinks I am not listening, making promises of how he'll protect her and be the best brother ever.
I watched as a small ball of lightning slowly gathered between his small hands, his brows knitted together in concentration. Is he trying to copy the Aerial Enchantment I made earlier?
The ball of lightning grew to the size of a grown man's fist before it became visibly unstable, and Laxus quickly threw it away when he noticed, and swiftly ended up pouting when the ball of lightning fizzled out on impact with the ground instead of exploding like he clearly wanted it to.
"You truly learn fast. Guess someone is a little genius." I ruffled his hair again, making him smile proudly up at me with a truly innocent smile that must be protected. "Learning magic is always hard, especially when learning to will it to do something. It'll become easier once you master it, and at that point it'll all be subconscious. You just need to train daily, like I told you to." This was his first time being able to summon his lightning, mostly because I spent the majority of the time teaching him fixing the mess Ivan caused.
It was a delicate job, so I simply had Laxus fall a nightly routine of expelling all of his magic from his body before bed. He learned surprisingly quickly how to do that, so it became his first training exercise.
It was a simple exercise I came up with for growing one's magical container when unable to train, or for the young. The growth for me is very negligible, but being quite good for Laxus. A five percent growth in a single week was extremely good, albeit it appears that it went down to four percent this week.
"What about your Enchantment Magic?" Laxus asked curiously as he sat back down on the ground right in front of me, making me ruffle his hair again as I let him hold Erza since he looked like he wanted to.
"Enchantment Magic is actually among the hardest branch to learn. It needs constant command and changes, and a single spell can easily go out of control if one isn't a master." But it also made Enchantment Magic the strongest magic ever. I can Enchant everything onto everything. I can Enchant Dragon Slaying properties on an already thrown spell, even permanently.
And I already have plans to create artificial Dragon Lacrimas that way. Irene is fucking broken and she didn't even know it!
I can pour some fire magic inside a lacrima, then permanently Enchant Dragon Slaying properties unto it, thus allowing whoever is implanted with it to gain access to Dragon Slaying Magic.
My plan for creating an army of overpowered Dragon Slaying weapons has now become a lot easier.
I might also use those to help the dragon slayer brats gain Dragon Force, while also using them on myself because of fucking course I'll give me all manners of Dragon Slaying magic, be it elemental or not.
Acnologia better watch his ass, because it's boutta catch these ha-
"What's with that creepy smile?" Laxus asked with narrowed eyes, and my smile only grew bigger as I pinched his cheeks. How dare you interrupt my thoughts while looking so adorable?!
"Tch, old people…" He clicked his tongue as he pulled his face away, and I froze with my hands still raised in the air.
I'm going to erase this little shit.
"Hm~? What was that?" This time it was Laxus's turn to freeze, and his eyes were soon filled with panic and fear.
Delicious fear!~
"I guess someone needs a spanking~!" I sang as I stood up, floating Erza in my arms as Laxus screamed and started running back towards the Guild, only for the ground to turn into a treadmill, forcing him to run in place and never get any closer to the Guild.
I grabbed his head in a tight grip and lifted the little struggling shit in the air, then gazed straight into his fearful eyes with what was possibly a very sadistic smile.
"I hope you aren't afraid of heights!" I hummed with a smile, but I knew very well that heights is his phobia.
So of course I removed my hand from his head.
And watched as he shot straight towards the clouds up above while screaming his lungs out.
Fucking kids and calling me old.
"You better not call your mama old too when you grow up young lady!" I pouted down at my adorable baby girl, then instantly started smooching her cheeks because she is just so fucking cute!
I glanced up towards the sky, then shrugged and started walking towards the Guild.
Laxus landed safe and sound a minute later.
He avoided me for an entire month.
A.N.: Don't leave your kids in my care, I might really just yeet them into the stratosphere.
