Chapter 7 Part of the event featuring Moe

Two hours earlier

Moe and Wall-e were on one of the floors where they thought should be Eve. After exiting the elevator, they both looked around until they noticed a hovercraft with stewards and Gofour standing twenty feet from their position. Eve's transport waited for the right moment to enter and join the traffic due to the terrible crowd in the corridors. Wall-e called out to him that they need to hurry up to which he agreed. Eve's transport started and they started running. At one point, Moe noticed that Wall-e was standing against a wall ten feet away from him and thought maybe he was waiting for him. But he was mistaken, because Wall-e only extended out his roller skates on which he was now moving much faster, unlike Moe, who was running slowly.

''Wall-e! Wall-e stop! Wait for me!'' - Moe called out to him but Wall-e didn't hear.

Despite the very heavy traffic in the corridor, Moe tried his best but it was difficult. He wasn't as fast as Wall -e and now he didn't know where he was. When Moe reached the intersection he had to stop for a while because he was getting a little tired. He stood in the middle wondering where to go now. He noticed that there were roller skate traces on the road. He immediately knew which way Wall-e went.

After about twenty three minutes, he finally got out of there, but didn't know where Wall-e went. Then he remembered that, after all, Wall-e was covered all over with dirt and certainly left marks all the time. He reluctantly turned on his scanner back on the viewfinder and started looking for traces. Immediately his scanner picked up traces leading straight . He didn't want to deal with the cleanup now, but his scanner didn't give him a break .

In less than thirty minutes, he reached the place where the trail stopped by the tracks, which meant that Wall-e definitely went by monorail in the direction of Lido Deck.

Suddenly something really strange happened. Moe's visor screen showed 9:30 am instead of 12:30 pm and it was the same everywhere. Also now the diners had the sign ''Breakfast'' instead of ''Lunch''. Transmissions with the captain's speech began to be displayed on almost all holoscreens. Moe didn't always have the opportunity to listen so he decided that he would sit ten feet against the wall and watch on one of the large holoscreens . He was backwards turned so he didn't even know that Wall-e had momentarily returned because the monorail had gone the wrong way. Before finishing the transmission, he noticed Eve's hovercraft standing to the right rear. He didn't know if Wall-e also knew that he was on the command deck , but he had to give him this information as he met him .

As soon as he was near the tracks, he approached the panel to check when the transport would be there. After checking, he became upset because it turned out that one went a few minutes ago, and the next one will be in fifteen minutes.

Twenty minutes later

While Wall-e was in the laundry room and Eve was exiting the elevator on MVR-A, without capsule in a rather sombre mood clearly indicating something had happened on the captain's bridge, Moe finally rode the monorail to the location where he will look for Wall-e. As he drove, he wondered where he could find him and looked at the passing bars with foods and various stores. While driving, he didn't notice that there was a hovercraft with Eve in the second transport.

After less than 20 minutes, when Eve reached the medical-repair ward and Wall-e followed Gofour, Moe exited the monorail and tried to find Wall-e's tracks. Unfortunately, Moe lost track of Wall-e and didn't know why it was so. Now he had no idea where he was supposed to look for him especially since the Lido Deck was huge. After a few minutes, he heard some noise coming from the hallway on the opposite side of the Lido Deck . He went there and saw that the corridors were in terrible chaos when he went some 426 feet. Everywhere, you could see how most of the robots and some of the vehicles were overturned.

''STOP!''

The sudden voice startled Moe, and for a moment he thought someone was addressing him. It turned out that one of the armed stewards spotted a person fleeing across the corridor and sent two other stewards after him. Moe tilted his head trying to see who it was because he was so low it was hard to see. He decided to sneak past, and that's when he noticed two stewards, as well as a person running away really fast. He wasn't sure who the fleeing person was, but he was almost certain that the fleeing person had yellow clothing items. Without delaying long, he passed some of the robots lying on the road and started running after them.

Moe know more or less where they were so in a few minutes he was almost there. He kept at a slight distance so that the stewards wouldn't notice him . You had to admit that Wall-e had really good speed because the Stewards despite the fact that they were floating in the air, couldn't catch up with him.

A little this chase lasted until Moe reached the left side exit of the corridor . About 50 feet from his position, he saw Wall-e climbing up and the stewards calling for him to come down, which of course he didn't do. Moe was worried that they could do something to him especially since this group of stewards was more dangerous than the other kind , especially how they use dangerous methods . Moe had no idea if they had anything more dangerous than electric darts, but even getting dinged with something like that is unpleasant.

When he saw that they were hitting Wall-e with arrows, he started worried. He saw that Wall-e somehow tried to take evasive action, but unfortunately failed when he was hit with as many as three shots to the chest. It could be seen as electricity passed in around him and he screaming in pain. However, this was not the only problem . Moe was frightened to see that Wall-e leaned back and began to fall . Moe quickly ran to the side edge of the floor and leaned over checking where Wall-e landed . He breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that he landed on a transport carrying clean towels.

He quickly turned back to the corridor , from which he came and looked for the elevator . After a while he found a small service elevator and chose the floor where Wall-e was. He didn't expect to go so slowly and hoped to reach Wall-e before the stewards. When he left after seven minutes, unfortunately, the stewards arrived before him approaching the Wall -e . He decided that he would pretend that he was simply a passerby and would be surprised upon seeing a strange boy. His ploy was successful because the stewards suspected nothing.

He looked at Wall-e and felt very sorry for him . He didn't look good especially as he moaning quietly and clenching his teeth while holding his hand to his chest . Moe knew it must be hurting him quite a bit, but he didn't understand why sparks were appearing on him and there beeping could be heard. The moment Wall-e lost consciousness and the driver patted him to wake him up, Moe worried even more. The driver when he started shouting at the stewards to call for help, surprised Moe , but he was impressed that he had given those tin stiffs to think that Wall -e was dying and needed help. immediately.

While waiting, Moe looked at Wall-e and was very surprised that he was all clean. Even his scanner showed everything clean. He might have suspected that Wall-e had washed his clothes as well as his boots in the laundry and that is probably why he couldn't find him later by the traces on the Lido Deck . He was on the one hand grateful that he did it because now he didn't have to clean him . He also wondered where his shoulder bag was, because he didn't see it anywhere around and he was sure he saw it fall with him. He promised to look for it so that Wall -e would not worry later, when the stewards leave.

The hovercraft (AMV-A) arrived at the site after some time and the driver and Moe transferred Wall -e on the AMV-A. When the blue belts fastened Wall-e, then the hovercraft began to move with the guarding stewards to the Medical - Repair ward.

''I'm counting on them to save him'' - Moe said to himself while keeping his fingers crossed that everything would be okay and that Wall-e wouldn't die.

Moe didn't chase them for the time being, because he had to find Wall-e's bag, which had probably fallen all the way down. First he helped the driver collect all the towels and then when he drove away, Moe started checking from above to see if he would see that bag. Fortunately, there was no one in the place where he was or even down . Unfortunately, the bad news was that none of the nearest elevators led all the way down and Moe has to walk around and then find a way down there and that will be a very long route and could take up to several hours.
