Ami caught hold of the balloon's string before it could fly away, returning it with a smile to the child who smiled back gratefully. Ami looked down at the book she'd been rereading, an indulgence she rarely allowed with so much out there to learn.
This was simple, reading and studying. She could have floated away like that balloon for the rest of her life doing as such. But her life was no longer so light, weighed down by the duties of being a senshi.
Now there were choices to make and lives to protect, thoughts that kept her consistently grounded. For even she, like the others, had to learn to float without losing sight of the ground.
