Inside the mountain, the current members of Young Justice were all set for welcoming the Justice League's children.
The original members are:
• Nightwing: the leader
• Aqualad: Aquaman's protege.
• Miss Martian: the Martian's niece.
• Kid Flash: The Flash's sidekick.
• Superboy (Connor Kent): Superman's clone.
• Artemis: a skilled archer.
• Zatanna: a young magician.
And the recently new members are:
• Blue Beetle: a teenager who has an alien Scarab on his back that gives him a powerful suit of armor.
• Beast Boy: a tween who can transform into any kind of animal in the world.
• Bumblebee: a teenage girl with a shrinking suit with wings and stingers.
And pretty soon. Tsunami, Liberty, Harry, Robin, Superboy (Jon Kent), and the Tornado Twins will be recruited into the Team.
For about a year, the Team has been getting everything ready in their headquarters, along with the League's help.
All of the training rooms were set at the Beginner's level, so that they'll be easier for the kids. Except Robin will definitely be doing the Difficulty levels, since he was raised and trained by the League of Assassins.
And the Justice League also gave the Team important information about their children. For example: their powers, skills, weapons, backgrounds, ages, and their likes and dislikes.
"Is everyone ready, and is everything all set?" asked Nightwing as he waited with his team in the gathering area.
"Yes, Nightwing", replied Aqualad.
"Uh-huh", said Artemis.
"All ready to go!", said Beast Boy.
"All set, Nightwing", said Miss Martian.
"I've double checked the training rooms", said Zatanna.
"I got the levels set to Beginner's", said Blue Beetle. The Scarab on his back chirped.
"I made sure the electricals are running smoothly. And they all are", said Bumblebee with a smile.
"That's great. Good job, team", Nightwing replied. "But where's...?"
Zoom!! Zoom!!
Superboy and Kid Flash suddenly met the team at super-speed from the kitchen!
"Hey. Sorry, guys", said Kid Flash. "Connor and I were just getting the last of the refreshments and snacks ready for the kids. Had to make extras for my little cousins. They get their big appetites from their old man".
"Yeah", Connor chuckled. "My little brother's appetite is the same. The kids will love them".
Connor was originally created by Superman's arch-enemy, Lex Luthor to replace him. But when Young Justice freed him from the laboratory Cadmus, he joined them and followed his own path. And eventually, Superman warmed up to him and welcomed him into his life as his adopted son.
And when Connor became a big brother to Jonathan, they were inseparable. And they became...
'Best Brother Friends 4 Life!'
Just then, the mountain's tunnel door opened. The Justice League and their children have arrived!
The Flash and the Tornado Twins arrived first. On account of their super-speed.
Superman and Superboy flew in next.
Green Lantern, Harry, Wonder Woman, Steve Trevor, Liberty, Aquaman, Mera, and Tsunami came in with their jets.
And finally, Batman and Robin came in last in the Batmobile as the tunnel door closed.
Suddenly, a magical portal opened up from behind the Team. The rest of the Justice League came through:
• Zatara: a magician. And Zatanna's father.
• The Martian, aka, Martian Manhunter: Miss Martian's uncle.
• Green Arrow: an expert archer. And Artemis' mentor.
• The Lightning Bolt, aka, Captain Marvel: a magical super hero who is secretly a teenage boy named Billy Batson.
• Hawkman and Hawkgirl: winged warriors from a planet called Thanagar.
• Doctor Fate: a powerful sorcerer.
• Red Tornado: an android with wind powers.
• The Robot, aka, Cyborg: a young man with an incredible cybernetic body.
• Green Lantern (John Stewart): a human Green Lantern just like Hal Jordan.
The entire Justice League arrived. And they're ready to start training the children about the needs of being a part of Young Justice. The Team was ready to start, as well.
The kids were very excited. They're going to learn all of the meanings of being a super hero.
As well as having lots of fun!
