Princeton Vs. Princeton
The next three days were quite calm, those with tickets to the exhibit, enjoyed seeing some of the recorded live feed of the Battle City, mostly of Yugi's duels with a few of Kaiba's, Joey's, and Mai's duels as well, with a few of the video feeds being from the finals themselves, and before leaving the exhibit, students were able to get a picture with Yugi himself. Due to the crowd, Draco spent his time at a table in the cafeteria, in a corner so no one could look over his shoulder as he had his deck laid out, looking over them as he had the Swords of Revealing Light and Mirror Force in his hand, trying to figure out what cards to replace to use them. Luckily for him, no one bothered to try to see his deck during the time, since it was only the first day of the exhibit's opening.
"Hey, Draco!" a voice called out, as he looks up seeing Mindy and Jasmine walking up to him.
"Oh, hey girls." He replied.
"Why weren't you in the exhibit?" Jasmine asked.
"Well, I did head there, but I saw how crowded it was and decide to wait until it clears up before heading in." he replied, "Besides, I'm having a little trouble at the moment."
The two girls walk over and sat near Draco, seeing every card in his deck as well as the two in his hand, "What's the problem?" Mindy asked.
"I'm trying to figure out which cards to remove to add Swords of Revealing Light and Mirror Force, but my problem is the cards I thought of removing caused issues with the other cards that will stay in the deck."
Mindy and Jasmine looked over Draco's cards, trying to help him out, "Hey, what about this one?" Mindy asked, picking up Sogaal's card, "I mean it was a little strange that the other one—"
"Sahlos?" Draco asked, "Yeah." Mindy replied, "It was strange that she kicked that one Kuriboh sky high, when you had this card out."
"Well, you guys are in the loop." Draco stated, "might as well tell you why Sahlos was angry." Both of the girls looked at him, "Sahlos is Sogaal's mother."
"Ok that would explain why she was angry with the little one out." Jasmine said.
"Actually," Draco said, "Sogaal was supposed to be studying how to speak Japanese."
"How to speak it?" Mindy asked, "Are you saying she can't?"
"Sogaal can only speak in the Ancestral Tongue." Draco replied.
"What's 'Ancestral Tongue'?" Jasmine asked, "Is it Latin?"
"Uh, no." Draco replied, "Latin is different from the Ancestral Tongue. Like how Japanese is our first language, the Ancestral Tongue is the first language for all Dragon kind."
"Hold on." Mindy spoke up, "If you are a Dragon, shouldn't Japanese be your second language? I mean we have heard you speak that other language before."
"To be honest," Draco replied, "I have been thinking about that, I think it could be instincts to just speak it or something."
"Maybe your dad can clear it up?" Mindy asked.
"He could, he is much older than me." Draco chuckled, "But getting back to the topic I can't figure out what to do with my deck."
The three of them looked over his cards, with each one they picked hampered one of the other or more cards, "Hey just saying here." Jasmine spoke up, "Why not just add them to the deck without removing any cards?"
"Well," Draco pondered, "I have thought about that, but I already have about fifty cards in my deck. I feel like if I add anymore, I could start to get bad hands much more often."
"You could run a simulation duel on the computer." Mindy said, "Just add Swords of Revealing Light and Mirror Force to your deck on the computer and run a few tests."
"She's right." Jasmine added, "Alexis does it every time she gets a new Cyber Dancer card or Cyber Angel card."
Draco thought it over for a few seconds, before stacking his deck back, slipped the Spell and Trap in, before giving it a few deck cuts to shuffle it, "I guess you two are right." Draco said, "By the way, I heard that when you leave the exhibit you get a picture taken with Yugi. Did you two?"
"We did more than just a picture with Yugi." Jasmine said as she and Mindy pulled the pictures out, showing they, each had Yugi and Joey on each side of them while they were in the middle of the two friends, and begin signed by both.
"You got Mr. Wheeler—I mean—"
"We know, force of habit." Mindy said, "Yeah, we just thought since Mr. Wheeler was a finalist and was best friends with Yugi, we wanted him in the picture as well."
"He said it really made his day." Jasmine added.
"Well, I won't be surprised of Bastion, Mana, Syrus, and Alexis did the same." Draco said.
"I think they will," Jasmine said.
"Same here." Mindy added, "By the way Draco, I've been meaning to ask; Are the names of your Dragon Guards just their names or are there meanings behind them?"
"Actually, if you translate their names, there are meanings behind them." Draco replied, "An example: Sahlos, if you translate her name to Japanese, it'll be 'Yokubō'."
"That means 'Lust' in English." Jasmine stated.
"Yes, in English her name would be 'Lust'." Draco replied, "All of them besides Drake and Sophitia, their names are in the Ancestral Tongue."
"So, looking at that 'Sogaal' card, it also mentions 'Kinbok', what does his name mean?" Mindy asked.
"It means 'Rīdā' or 'Leader'." Draco replied, "Unless, you just want me to give the English translation?"
"That's alright." They said, "It's cool that their names mean something." Jasmine said.
"It is." Mindy added, "However, why hasn't there been any discovery about anything about such a language?"
"As far as I know, it's only spoken by the Dragons in the Spirit World." Draco replied, "Although I think I read something about dragons traveling to Egypt during the Shadow Games and talking to the ruling Pharaohs."
"But I'm guessing that was like when you were five or something?" Jasmine asked.
"Yeah, pretty much." Draco replied, "I don't know if there is any record of ancient Pharaohs reading or speaking it. But anyways, I need to see if my Dad checked in on my Mom after what happened."
"Did something bad happen?" Jasmine asked.
"No, nothing of the sort." Draco replied, "I few days ago, I called home to get some information on Des Volstalgh, and my mother was pregnant."
Jasmine and Mindy stared at Draco for a while, as if processing what he said, "Wait, so you're going to be a brother now?!" Jasmine gasped out.
"Yeah." Draco replied, "And Dad told me, just a few days ago she laid the egg."
"Hold on, how did—" Mindy started, before sighing out, "Oh right, Dragon."
"Anyways, I don't know if my sibling would be a sister or brother." Draco said, rubbing the back of his head.
"Well, you do treat Syrus as if he's your little brother." Mindy stated, "I'm sure you'll be fine, even if your younger sibling is a Dragon."
"Same here."
"Thanks, you two." Draco said, as he stood up from the table as the two girls did the same, "I'm going to see how much the exhibit died down."
"Alright, we're going to head back to the dorm room." Jasmine said, "When we left the exhibit it was still pretty crowded."
"I see, it doesn't hurt to look anyways." Draco replied. The three went on their ways. Draco made his way to the exhibit and sure enough, it was still pretty crowded, even as he watched Tristan and his father drag four Obelisks out.
"Alright, we warned you!" Tristan shouted, "We gave you three warnings! After the third one; You're out!"
"There are two rules before entering the exhibit!" Krono added, pointing to the small billboard, "Right here! 'Rule 4: Dorm Color means nothing beyond this point!' Rule 5: Anyone pulling Dorm ranks will be removed from the exhibit and will be forbidden to enter during the duration of the exhibit!' We were being kind in giving you three chances to keep your ego in check!"
"You're only temp workers!" one of the Obelisk yelled out, "You have no right to throw us out!"
"Yeah!" The second one spoke up, "Our parents are the ones paying you to work here!"
"Actually, Mokuba asked us to be here." Krono corrected them, "So, it's Kaiba- the guy who OWNS this Academy- is the one that is paying us to work here."
"And guess what, you little punks?" Tristan asked them, "We did our job!"
"We were supposed to throw you out the first time you pull ranks." Krono told them, "But now, you're done for the whole three days. Don't bother to try and change your appearance to hide from me, it won't work."
The four Obelisks growled softly as they walked off, passing Draco with two of them purposely shoulder slamming into him.
"Really?!" He snapped, "You're pissed off for getting caught breaking rules, and it's everyone else's fault but yours? And you have to take it out on me?!"
"Shut the fuck up, Scum!" The first Obelisk snapped back, "They won't be getting paid after we tell our parents what happened!"
"I think my Dad just told you Mokuba asked them to be here." Draco remarked, "You're parents can't do anything!"
"Once again a Slifer Scum, doesn't know what its talking about!" one of the girls spat out, "My Daddy happens to be the top man of one of Kaiba Corp's Branches. All I have to do is give him a call, and He'll tell Kaiba what your classless hobo of a father did to me. And he'll be fired, and we'll be back in the exhibit!"
"And you think my Big Bro will believe your father over me?!" a voice over a speaker shouted out. Everyone looked over at Tristan and Krono, with Tristan holding a full-screen cellphone showing a young boy wearing a light violet shirt, a deep blue tie, a dark violet vest, and with white business suit. His hair slightly messy but still professional.
"Who the hell are you, Brat?!" one of the boys demanded, before noticing Draco's shocked face and terror in his eyes, "The fuck is your problem, Slifer Trash?!"
"Do any of you Dumbasses know who that is?!" Draco asked, seeing all four of them just wave a hand clearly showing they don't care, "That's Mokuba Kaiba!" Draco told them, "The younger brother of the guy that OWNS this Academy!"
After hearing that all four of them went pale as if something just drained their souls, "I have wondered how some of the Blue Dorm Students were able to get in that dorm, since the only record of the duels, has only been done in the Academy." Mokuba spoke up, "And now I have audio proof. Most of you use your parents' money or the connection they have with my Big Bro, to bully the staff and other classmates by throwing your position and status as your way to do what you want!"
"Th-this is the best you low-lives can do to try and scare us?!" the second boy asked.
"What is going on here?!" everyone looked behind the four Obelisks seeing the Chancellor walking up to them, Draco looked back to Tristan and noticed Mokuba pulling a second cellphone and making a call on it, to which a cell was ringing behind him, looking back as the Chancellor pulled his phone out and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Chancellor Shepard, correct?"
"Speaking. Who may I ask is calling?"
"You might know my Big Brother better as the one who owns Duel Academy." Mokuba said, still hiding the fact he is watching them.
"Wait, is this Mr. Mokuba Kaiba?" Shepard asked.
"The very one. Could you do me a favor?"
"What is it, Sir?"
"Could you look over to Temp Security Officer Triston Taylor?" Shepard looked from his phone and pass the four Obelisks seeing Tristan holding the screen phone, as Mokuba waved happily, "Hello."
As Shepard's face turned slightly pale, the four students started to panic, "What's going on here?" Shepard asked.
"Well, Tristan here gave me a quick call to tell me about some students causing trouble for everyone at the Battle City Exhibit," Mokuba explained, "but I manage to hear everything they said, such as using their parents position at my Big Bro's company to get away from breaking a rule."
"What rule is that?"
"Pulling rank." Tristan and Krono simultaneously said, "We were being kind and gave them three chances to knock it off." Krono added.
"So, after the third time we caught them, we threw them out." Tristan said.
"Even though, you were supposed to do so with the first time you caught them." Mokuba said over the phone, "Anyways, I manage to hear their threat, the only punishment for them is to remove them from the Academy."
"WHAT?!" the four gasped out, "The way they are behaving will give the Academy a bad reputation." Mokuba explained, "Next year, I'm personally going to look through their Dueling Entrance Exams, as well as past duels to ensure they are put in the proper dorms from then until someone with a good eye can take my place."
"I understand, Sir." The Chancellor replied.
"I won't tell my Big Bro about this, Chancellor, just make sure those four are off the island by tomorrow." Mokuba instructed, "I'll be contacting their parents." After he hung up on both phones, the Chancellor glared at the four Obelisks.
"You four, are expelled, I will notify your Dorm heads to make sure you pack your belongings and turn in your Dorm Blazers, Academy Duel Disks, and PDAs."
"I heard everything, Sir." Crowler spoke as he approached the small group, "I'll take the two boys to their dorm rooms."
"Thank you, Vellian." Shepard said with a sigh, "I'll call Nurse Fonda to get the girls."
"Umm, Sir?" a female voice spoke up, Shepard turned to see the Nurse Assistant Meanae approaching them, "I could take them to get their belongings, Nurse Fonda is pretty busy with a student with a very high fever."
"How high?" Shepard asked, concerned.
"High enough, that she feared it would be worse if she wasn't there." She replied, "If you recall Sir, I was out of Medical College for only few weeks, against her years of experience."
"Fair enough." Shepard replied, "Knowing the private or family helicopters, they will be here in about an hour or two. Make sure they are at the docks by then.
Both Crowler and Meanae nod their heads and led the four former students to their dorm rooms to gather their things, as they were out of sight, Krono sighed and rubbed his eyes.
"I heard from Draco, that the Blue dorm was full of insufferable brats." Krono said, "But seeing and hearing them?"
"Yeah, such a headache." Tristan stated.
"Even I'm starting to think the only way they got into the dorm, was from the connections to Mr. Kaiba or with large bribes." Shepard said, "Although that could be one reason the Blue Dorms does look like five-star hotels."
"With the Yellow dorms being similar to a four-and-a-half star?" Krono asked, getting a slight nod from the Chancellor.
"That still doesn't explain why the Red Dorm looks like a standard motel." Tristan stated, "It's not like Kaiba doesn't have the money to get to be a three-star hotel."
"I think he's doing it to spite Yugi." Krono theorized, "The dorms are based on the Gods after all even the students in the dorms. Money and status? Obviously like Kaiba, the first owner of Obelisk."
"So, that mean the students in the Yellow dorms are intelligent and planners? Like Marik?" Tristan asked.
"He did do a lot of harm in the Battle City without getting his hands dirty, and he owned the Winged Dragon of Ra, so yeah." Krono replied.
"Believe me, I have thought that throughout my time here." Draco stated, "Kaiba must still be sour about not only losing to Yugi in his own tournament, but also losing his only chance to get the three strongest cards in all of Duel Monsters."
Everyone started to mumble in agreement, "Hey Tristan! Krono!" Joey yelled out, "We got some other Blues causing trouble, I need a hand here!" Both of them, gave a nod and quickly ran into the Exhibit.
"Draco?" Shepard asked the student
"Yes, Sir?"
"I know you had told me your parents are Duel Monsters and are the current Dragon King and Queen, but he seems ok doing labor work as well as taking orders from others."
"He said it was to not let our statis to go to our heads." Draco replied, "Not using our position to get what we want, but work hard for it, I even helped the neighbors with their own housework."
"Yes, I remember that on your application for the Academy." Shepard said with a chuckle, "Saying what you did on your free time. Although seeing your skills in duels, I do have to ask."
"I think it was Crowler." Draco replied, confusing the Chancellor, "After the Dueling Entrance Exam, I defeated the Doc, and I've been thinking he put me in Slifer."
"I'm going to have to have a talk with him one of these days about his attitude."
"I think how I destroyed 'The Elites' is punishment enough." Both Draco and Shepard chuckled, before Draco noticed that Syrus and Mana just left the exhibit each holding a picture.
"You guys got a picture with Yugi as well?" he asked them.
"Yup." Syrus replied with a big smile.
"We even asked Mr. Wheeler to get into the picture as well." Mana stated.
"Yeah, Jasmine and Mindy showed me their photos, they did the same thing." Draco replied, "I mean how could you not include Mr. Wheeler in the picture? He was like us."
"Like us?" Syrus and Mana asked.
"Yeah, the Blues call us 'Nobodies', that's how Mr. Wheeler started. I heard he started with a deck with no Spells or Traps."
"And he was a finalist in the Battle City!" Mana gasped.
"Exactly." Draco replied, "If he can start off as we did, and made a name for himself, so can we!"
"I think we already are." Syrus said, "I mean, I was such a wreck in dueling, and now, I can hold my own, thanks to Draco's training."
"You really think it's all thanks to me, Little Buddy?" Draco asked, "You just needed a little push to show you, that you are a great Duelist. All of your duel victories were yours and yours alone."
"Come on Draco, you're just saying that." Syrus replied with a sheepish chuckled.
"No, Draco has a point." Mana pointed out, "He can't make calls for you during your own duels, both class requirements and standard duels."
"She's right, Sy." Draco added, "My training was to not let the crowd and jeers of the Blue Dorm get you to make a mistake or to get you to panic under pressure."
Syrus thought it over, and realized during any of his duels, Draco only stared at the duel, not giving hints, "Oh, you're right." He said.
"All you had to do was remember the training and you would be fine." Draco said, "By the way." He looked around slightly to ensure no one was listening, "Has Des Volstalgh, tried to take over? In any amount?"
"No." Syrus replied, "I think your threat to have Dinok, is still lingering over him."
"That or something else terrified him." Mana stated.
"Could be he was wrong about me and realized I was the Dragon Prince." Draco added, "But you know, keep that low."
After getting a chuckle with each other, Syrus and Mana went off to the cafeteria, while Draco headed back to the Dorm, taking the West Exit. Along his way he noticed one Obelisk sitting on a bench with two others looking at him, what seemed puzzling was the two tried to get the other to explain what happened.
"Don't get involved." Draco thought to himself, "They'll just give you shit."
As Draco was walking pass the three Obelisks, he noticed the one sitting on the bench in distress was Zachary, but didn't stop to talk, however one of the Obelisk that were talking to Zachery noticed Draco.
"Hey Slifer!" she called out, causing Draco to groan out.
"Not like it matters, you're not going to believe me!" he groaned, "I have no idea why Zachery is distress, Rika!"
"Well, of course you wouldn't know!" Rika snapped, "You are too short to be the one that did this to Zachery!"
"Ok first of all, 'Too short'?" Draco asked, confused, "Second of all, if you know I have nothing to do with this, why bother me?!"
She looked like she was choking on her pride and words, "W-we nnnneee—"
Draco tilt his head, very confused, "What the hell? Why does she look like she's dying?"
"That is because, Young Lord, she technically is." Draco glanced to his right seeing Koraavnu standing next to him.
"Can you clarify, Sage?"
"She's choking on her own pride." He replied, "Tell me, if you were raised as she was, and had no choice but to ask help from what you consider 'The scum' would you just flat out and ask for help?"
"Good point." Draco continued to look at Rika as she groans out and struggles again, "We nneee-need—Damn it all!" she groans.
"You're going to, what the young humans today say, 'Milk this' are you?" the Blind Sage asked.
"Oh, yeah." Draco replied, "It's not often these stuck-up brats ask for help, I'm going to enjoy this."
"Considering all the problems they have giving you over this year, I think you deserve it."
Draco continue to watch her struggle before the other Obelisk that was talking to Zachery groans out, "Damn it Rika! Why the fuck is this so hard for you?!" he yelled, before standing up and stood next to her, placed a hand on her back, forcing her to bow down as he did the same, "We need your help!" he pleaded, "My twin sister has this stupid belief, that asking for help makes her weak. And asking a Slifer, I'll admit I thought I wouldn't be doing that, but to Rika here, it's like asking someone younger than you."
"Ok?" Draco replied raising a brow, "So, would you tell me what the fuck is going on? You know I have nothing to do with Zachery, and your sister just said I'm 'too short' to be whatever is going on."
"To sum it up," Rika's brother replied, "There's something else hunting the Blue Dorm."
"Ok, did I hear you right?" Draco asked, "You said, 'Something'?"
"Yes, he did you dumbass Scum!" Rika yelled out, "Riku, this is stupid, get Dr. Crowler to take care of it!"
"And how is the Doc, going to stop what you can't seem to describe?" Draco asked, shutting her up.
"Anyways," Riku continued, "But what's strange is whatever this is, it's only going after one Obelisk every few nights, and it's taking their rarest card."
"Hold on, it's using the Ante Rule?" Draco asked, "That's against the Academy Rules."
"Well, whatever is attacking us, Zachery was the latest victim." Riku stated, "And it took his Summoned Arch-Skull card."
Draco looked at Zachery, who looked dead inside as he just slumped his head and stared at the floor, "How many others were before him?"
"There were ten others." Riku replied, "making Zachery the eleventh target. Besides the height difference, the other difference is this thing is only after specific Obelisks and only goes after them, when they are alone."
"Which could explain the random attacks." Draco theorized.
"What do you mean?" Riku asked.
"I mean think of it this way," Draco started, "If whatever this is happens to be a student, they are going after an Obelisk that bullied them during the day. After the attack at night, if a different Obelisk bullies the student but the rumors of a creature attacking Obelisk at night, they start traveling in groups."
"So, it doesn't go after them?" Riku asked, getting a nod from Draco, "And when they let their guard down, starting to walk alone at night, it strikes again." He continued, "That will explain the random attacks."
"And the targets." Riku added, "But, I can't rule out say the Janitor."
"Janitor?" Draco asked, "You mean, Mr. Gorg?"
"Yeah, he matches the height of whatever is attacking our Dorm."
"What's attacking your Dorm?"
The sudden voice made Draco and Riku yell out and looked behind Riku, seeing Gorg towering over them.
"How are you so quiet with your size?!" Draco asked, recovering from his shock.
"Ex-military, former MMA Fighter, and Instructor." Gorg reminded him, "They did train us to be light on our feet."
"Fair point." Draco replied.
"So, what were you three talking about?" Gorg asked.
"Well, Riku here was telling me, that the Blue Dorm was being attacked by something that duels random Blues at random nights." Draco explained, "And Riku was theorized that you are the same build of whatever is attacking them."
"Well, if it's something my size, I can't blame you for accusing me." Gorg replied.
"Not accusing you!" Riku quickly stated, "Theorized."
Gorg looked at the Blue Student slightly concern before looking over to Draco, "I think he just got out of his shock with how easily you snuck up on us." He said.
"Right." Gorg replied, "Well again, I get why you theorized me as a suspect, but there is a problem with it."
"And that is what?" Rika slightly snapped.
"I can't duel to save my life." Gorg chuckled, "I don't even have a deck of Duel Monsters."
"Really?" Draco asked.
"That doesn't mean, I don't know the rules." Gorg replied, "So what does this thing do?"
"It duels a Blue Student and takes their rarest card as a prize." Draco explained.
"That is against the Academy rules." Gorg replied, "But how is it I'm just now hearing of it?"
Draco and Riku looked at each other from Gorg's question, "I mean, if the Blue Dorm is getting hit by this, I guess 'Dueling Giant', you think the rumors would have spread by now."
"I'm just spit balling here." Riku spoke up, "but maybe it's because no one in the top ten best in the Blue Dorm has been hit?"
"That could be a good possibility." Draco stated, "I mean think about it; if what Mr. Gorg called it, the Dueling Giant, dueled and somehow defeated either Zane or Alexis, with them being the top two Duelists of the Blue Dorm, the rumor would have spread the next day."
"Well, this still needs to be reported to both the Chancellor and to the head of the Blue Dorms." Gorg suggested.
"The Chancellor was by the exhibit when I last saw him." Draco said, "The Doc went to the Blue Dorm to make sure that two students that were expelled by Mokuba Kaiba himself, get their belongings, and Nurse Fortaine is in her office."
"Oh, that makes things easier." Riku said, "Rika, you take Zachery to the Chancellor, I'll head back to the Boys Dorm for Dr. Crowler."
"I have to go to the Nurse's Office anyways." Gorg spoke up, "To get the trash in there."
As the three Obelisks and Gorg walked off to their destination, Draco continued to walk outside of the Main Building and to the Slifer Dorm, "Hmm, maybe I should give Alexis a call." He thought, "She might have heard the rumor form the other Blues."
During the time Draco was stopped by the other Blues, Alexis put away the photo she received from the exhibit in a secured drawer before stretching, moaning out as she felt some stiff muscles finally loosening up and some subtle pops in her body.
"Hey, Suraasven?" She asked, "I need to ask you something."
Appearing by the open balcony door, the Wind Dragon Princess leaned into the frame with an amused smile.
"Did you know I was here the whole time?" she asked, "Or did you just discover that being around the Young Lord long enough you can now summon us by name?"
"More like I was able to sense you." Alexis replied, "I think it's because of the time we were in the Duel Spirit World and when I touched that necklace."
"You mean the Shadow Charm Choker?" Suraasven asked.
"Yeah, that thing." She replied, "So, Draco is now the owner of three Shadow Charms?"
"He is." Suraasven replied, "But he is only using the Pendant. He thinks if he uses the others, he'll become too reliant on them or start becoming corrupted by their combine powers."
"And you have a vault to keep them?"
"We do, back at the Guild."
"Do you ever fear that someone will try to steal from your vault?" Alexis asked.
"Well, there was an Artifact in our world that can do that." The Wind Princess replied, "But, after we got our locks up, both physical puzzle lock and magical puzzle lock, as well as barriers. Some of us went after the Artifact to keep it safe."
Alexis looked confused, "Are you talking about a Skeleton Key?"
"Hold on, how do you know about it?" Suraasven asked.
"Well, old history talks about a special key that can be used to unlock any door." Alexis explained, "In Ancient Times, it was called the Skeleton Key, but nowadays we call it a Master Key."
"Hmm, I wonder." Suraasven pondered, "Do you have to physically put it in the lock to make it work?"
"Yeah, we do." Alexis replied, "Don't you?"
"Nope." She replied, "That's why we went after it, after we got the vault, all set up, because the Skeleton Key, all you have to do is touch the lock and it becomes unlocked."
"I can see why you wanted to get your hands on it." Alexis stated.
"Yeah, but we had to place a bait to get whoever had it, to come to us." Suraasven replied, "We spread rumors we had a lot of ancient artifacts and powerful weapons, which worked."
"So, your first Artifact in your vault was the very thing that could unlock it with just a tap?" Alexis asked with a chuckled.
"Yup, even the most wanted thieves didn't dare try to rob from us. They never escape Koraavnu's Mind Eye, never escape Vonzun's wits, or Gahlot's claws."
"I see." Alexis muttered, "But getting back to what I was going to ask; Is Kulaas doing alright? I haven't seen her in weeks."
"Oh." Suraasven replied, "I thought you already knew."
"Knew what?"
"Kulaas has been in the Spirit World hunting or fishing if you want to be technical about it."
Alexis thought it over before slightly gasping, remember the talk with Saffira, she and Draco had, "Hold on. Kulaas is pregnant herself?"
"Yeah." She replied, "I went back home because I was also concern with Kulaas not being around. I flew to the Seaside and came across Fortress Whale and few sea dwellers at first hostile towards me, until Neo-Daedalus- the Ocean Dragon Lord."
"Oh right." Alexis said, "Kulaas said that was her father."
"Indeed," Suraasven replied, "anyways after he appeared and calmed his forces, and demanded that they beg for mercy from not just him but from myself as well, I did ask if Kulaas was alright, and he explained everything to me."
"So, Water Dragons, hunt in the water? That does make some sense." Alexis said, "She does seem to be nimble on the water."
"You need to see her under water though." Suraasven stated, "When she and Sahlos are down there, and the enemy gets knocked into the sea or any body of water, they don't come back up if the client wants them dead."
Alexis lets out a very startled gulp, just the thought of either being drowned or worse by two dragon's asked to hunt someone down.
"However, we mostly leave the killing jobs to Gahlot." Suraasven explained, "She is the assassin after all."
"I would have thought you would also let Dinok take those jobs."
"Oh no, we give him the more brawling jobs, like an illegal fist-fight tournament?" she replied, "He enters and kills the one organizing it, then leaves a message to any who are still alive."
"Is that message something like 'The Dragon Guards send their regards'?" Alexis said as a half joke.
"Umm, yes. How did you know?" Suraasven asked, very concern.
"Oh! I-I was just joking!" Alexis stammered, "I wasn't aware that's what you told them."
"Oh." The Wind Princess replied, "I see. I didn't realize it was a joke. I guess you haven't been informed that most of the time, the Royals don't normally tell jokes."
"Well." Alexis was about to state, "Except for Draco." Suraasven stated first, "He was raised in a more normal life, I guess."
"Didn't you live that way?" Alexis asked, "Before Draco's mother named you Wind Princess?"
"Eeh, not really." She replied, "I was already in a Noble Bloodline, and already took lessons to be a proper lady as it's called."
"Wow, that sounds really boring." Alexis said, "I remembered when my parents did that. Being in the high society, I was told I couldn't play with Duel Monsters at all."
"Well, something must have changed your up-tight parents minds." Suraasven stated, "Otherwise you wouldn't be here."
"It was during a Parent Day." Alexis replied, "It's an Elementary Grade thing. The School invites the parents to show what they do in class."
"And you were playing Duel Monsters with a classmate?"
"That's how they found out, at first my mother was going to yell at me, but my father stopped her after hearing many students were saying how I beaten everyone multiple times and not even lost once." Alexis said with a slight chuckle.
"Was it the start of your Cyber Dancer deck?" Suraasven asked.
"It was." Alexis replied, right as her PDA started to chime off, she picked it up from the desk and looked at the screen, "Oh, Draco's calling." She then flips the screen over and accepts the call, "Hey, Draco."
"Hey Alexis, I'm on my way to the Hang-out Dorm, I have something to ask you, but I don't want it to be on the record and cause a panic."
"A panic?" she asked.
"Like I said, I don't want to cause one." He replied, "Do you mind if you could meet up at the Slifer Dorm?"
"Uh, sure." She replied, "I'll see you soon."
After the call ended, Alexis looked over the green scaled Dragoness, "I have no idea what's going on." She replied to the stare.
"Neither do I." Alexis replied, "I'm concern now."
Meanwhile, as Draco puts his PDA back his blazer's pocket, as he continues his way to the Red Dorm, he gives a sigh out.
"Young Lord?" hearing one of the Guards speaking up, Draco looked into the trees seeing Vonzun leaping from branch to branch.
"What is it, Vonzun?" he asked.
"Do you want us to look into this 'Dueling Giant' on your behalf?"
Draco raised a brow, wondering how he knew about that conversation, until he remembered he was the Spy of the Dragon Guards after all, "No." he replied, "I need all of you to keep your eyes and ears open for any sign of the Shadow Riders."
"With all due respect, Sir." Vonzun replied, "The Shadow Riders have been silent for nearly a month."
"That's the point." Draco pointed out, "We can't let our guard down at all. They could be watching us somehow and are just waiting for us to relax."
"Or," Vonzun chimed, "they are trying to make all of you paranoid before striking when you are all mentally weaken."
Draco looked at the Spy, "That's also a good point." He said, "Ok, look just keep your post and look for any sign of the Shadow Riders."
"I understand." Vonzun replied, before vanishing as Draco approached the Red Dorm, he noticed Prof. Banner was out and stretching his body in whatever which way one could imagine.
"Professor." Draco called out, getting the Head of the Red Dorm's attention, "Are you feeling any better?"
"Oh, very much so." He replied with that warm smile, "Although, I am really looking forward to an actual meal."
"Why do you say that?" Draco asked.
"Well, I believe that creature- I apologize- Duel Spirit, for the past two weeks had me drink nothing but that tea of hers."
"Are you talking about Vahraniik, Professor?" Draco asked.
"Oh yes, that was her name." Banner exclaimed, "Her name was just really hard to pronounce, I'm amazed you can say them."
Draco did a quick look around, after making sure they were the only two or of the few who knew, "Her name is in the Dragon Tongue." He explained, "And being a Dragon myself, I can understand and even speak it. Well, somewhat speak it."
"Hmm." Banner pondered, "I have heard people doing things on reflexes, with you saying you can somewhat speak 'Dragon Tongue' could be something similar?"
"In a way, it is." Draco replied, "It's more like instincts. But changing the subject."
"Yes, my boy?"
"Have you been keeping an eye and ear open for any movement from the You-Know-Who?"
Banner looked confused before realizing what his student meant, "Oh! I have, my boy. But I haven't seen or heard anything weird happening."
"Neither have we." Draco mentioned, "It's been months since Tania failed."
"And the School Year is about to end in a few months." Banner pointed out, "I hope they don't try to strike during the study periods for your finals."
"Tell me about it." Draco muttered, "The last thing I want is to be trying to ace my tests and having to worry about a sudden Shadow Game Attack at the same time."
"However, would anything like a 'Dueling Giant' be the Shadow Riders?" Banner asked.
"Wait, you've heard about that?" Draco asked.
"Some of the Obelisks I've had seemed to be almost zombies, just sitting at their desk staring into the floor."
"Zachery was like." Draco pointed out, "Riku and Rika, told me about this Dueling Giant going around and attacking random Blue Students."
"I see." Banner said, "That could be why the Security Guards can't catch him."
"If the Dueling Giant is a 'He'." Draco replied, "For all we know it could be a girl student."
"Fair point." Banner replied, "Well, I better get back to my classroom. You enjoy your free period."
Draco watched his Professor heading to the Main Building, as Alexis approached the dorm. They both went into Chazz's Dorm, with him having a free period as well. After they all settled down, Draco told them both about what he learned.
"Hold on, some sort of giant is going around and beating Obelisks AND taking their favorite or best card?" Chazz asked.
"Yeah," Draco replied, "all of them said it was a large creature, similar to Mr. Gorg's body build, and that it wears all of the blazers of the Obelisks it defeats."
"If it goes after Obelisks, why haven't I heard of it?" Alexis asked.
"I talked about that with Riku and Rika." Draco told her, "They seem to think since none of the top Obelisks got attacked yet the rumors haven't spread as fast."
"That does make sense." Yellow chimed in, "I mean, if say Alexis here did get challenged by this Giant and she lost- Not saying you would!"
"I know what you mean." She replied, "It's all hypothetically."
"Yeah, anyways, if she did lose, then the word of it would have spread throughout the whole Academy."
"Oddly, that's exactly what we thought." Draco stated, "Hopefully, whoever is behind it gets caught."
"That doesn't sound like you at all." Chazz stated, getting him and Alexis to look over, "If it is a student, shouldn't you be admiring them for standing up against the Blue Dorm?"
"Normally, yes." Draco replied, "But, taking their favorite card or rarest card? That's going too far. To me, my deck is a part of me. Stealing a single card, is like someone taking a part of you out of your own body."
"Well, considering you treat the Dragon Guards as an extended family." Alexis pointed out, "So you would take it personally."
"Yeah, I would." Draco replied.
"Hold on, your strongest is that Legendary Hero, right?" Chazz asked, getting a nod from Draco, "Is banishing three of your cards from the Grave the only way to summon him?"
"Well, there is Rovit's Ability, but that's only by luck." Draco explained, "His Ability lets me see the top card of my deck, if it's a Monster I can summon it, regardless of its level or summon conditions."
"What if it's not a Monster?" Alexis asked.
"If the card isn't a monster, I lose Life Points equal to Rovit's Attack Points and the card is placed at the bottom of the deck."
"Yikes, and it has 1800 to start." Chazz stated, "If you are unlucky, you lose nearly half of your Life Points."
"That is true." Draco replied, "But getting back to his summoning, The Monsters have to be other 'Dragon Guard' cards."
"So, even if the Dueling Giant gets its hands on your card, it's completely useless." Alexis stated.
Draco gave a nod, and the three of them began to talk about the current situation about the Shadow Riders being quiet. With them all agreeing they are waiting for them to lower their guard then strike, suddenly a knock on the door was heard getting all four of them, Yellow included to look at the door.
"Hello? Is this the Head of Slifer Red's room?"
"Who was that?" Chazz asked.
"No clue." Draco replied, "But I guess they got mistaken since this Dorm room does look fancier than the rest of the dorm." Draco stood up and went to the door, opening it and seeing a short boy, with blonde spiked hair being held up by a bandana, seeming to be around Syrus' height.
"Aren't you a little younger to be a teacher?" the boy asked.
"Umm, who are you?" Draco asked.
"None of your business, that's who I am!" the boy snapped, acting tough.
Draco gave an annoyed look and rolled his eyes, before sighing out, "Oh, great. A wannabe delinquent, who properly got kicked out of his last school, acting tough."
"What the hell did you say, smartass?!" the boy demanded.
"Ahem!" someone cleared their throat as Draco looked behind the little troublemaker before giving a scared stare as the boy looked back and began to shake in his shoes.
"Uh, hello Mrs. Wheeler." Draco said, "Is-is there—"
"Don't worry, Hun." Mai replied, "I'm not here for you. I'm here for him!" Glaring down at the young boy, "Chuck, you were told to report to the Chancellor's office, not your dorm room! I doubt you want to spend your first week here in detention, with me!"
"Y-you do-don't sc-scare me, yo-you, bit—"
"I DARE you to finish that sentence, boy!" Mai yelled out, causing the now known Chuck to yelp and coward.
"Kid." Draco called out, "Trust me when I say this, Mrs. Wheeler is the one teacher you don't want to piss off. She's the 'I take no shit from no one, regardless of what they say or threaten with' teacher."
"Aww, you flatter me." Mai replied, teasing Draco, "Now Chuck, march that ass to the Chancellor's office!" Chuck immediately tried to run pass Mai, but she quickly grabbed his Red Blazer, stopping him in his tracks, surprising Draco with her reflexes, "Nah-uh, you are going there, with me."
Draco watched as Mai walked off with the now scared Chuck, before closing the door, "Damn." Chazz spoke up, "Ever since I came back, I learn not to piss her off."
"I'm surprised the Blue Dorm still does." Alexis added, "After pretty much all the boys in the Blue Dorm got detention from her and about one-fourth of the girls got it."
"There was the occasion Ra student getting detention." Draco pointed out. The three of them continue to talk, over at the Main Building, Mai place Chuck down in a chair outside of the Chancellor's Office and told him that Security Guard Cliff will make sure he doesn't run off, as she walked away, hearing the chime of the bell, she headed to her classroom, not noticing Chuck gave a wicked smirk and very subtle chuckle.
"Heh-heh, I've already found three Key Bearers." He thought, "And the others know the fourth, all that's left is to tell the Boss."
In the Chancellor's Office, Shepard looked shocked and defeated at the two well-dress men smirking in triumph, "You-you can't be serious!" He gasped.
"Well, it's true." The first man spoke, "We offered Mr. Kaiba a good sum to buy this Academy from him."
"However, we do have a condition to fulfill before the deed is signed to us." The second man added, "We have to defeat a student in a duel."
Shepard's face slightly lit up at that info, "Well, then." He spoke up, "I will have to tell the student—" the first man left his hand and waved his finger, like a parent telling a child "No"
"Mr. Kaiba, has agreed to OUR terms for the duel." He said.
"T-terms?" Shepard asked, shocked again, and more worried. Both men just gave an unsettling chuckle as they smile wickedly once more.
Later in Crowler's Class, "Now then, if your Opponent happens to have a Fusion that can't be destroyed by any means; how do you get rid of it?" Crowler asked the Class, and then eyed Syrus, "Truesdale? Care to answer?"
The Obelisk began to snicker to themselves, before Syrus took a deep breath and stood up, "Umm, you could use De-Fusion or maybe a card that would negate the Monster's Ability so it can be destroyed by anything?" Syrus asked.
"A card to negate its Ability? Care to give an example?" Crowler asked.
Syrus thought before remembering with Dinok outside of Tania's colosseum, "Umm, like the Continuous Trap, Fiendish Chains? It can negate the Monster's Abilities and prevents it from attacking."
Crowler looked shocked, before giving an amused chuckle, "Well, a Trap that works around it." He said, "Very good, Truesdale. De-Fusion is the correct answer, but now hearing a card that can work around the Ability of the Monster, allowing it to be destroyed, an excellent example and answer."
Syrus gave a warming smile as the Obelisks' jaws dropped, unable to see, Draco and Chazz smirked and gave each other a backhand fist bump, it was then the doors flung open, startling everyone. The whole class looked back seeing two well-dressed men giving triumphed smirks as they walk down the stairs between the two-by-three rows of sits, Chazz gave a nearly dead paralyzed stare as Draco silently growled, glaring at the men, recognizing them as Slade and Jagger Princeton
"Excuse you!" Crowler yelled out, "I'm in the middle of a class. If there is someone you need to talk to in this classroom, I suggest you either wait outside or have the Chancellor call the student to his office!"
"I suggest you shut your mouth!" Slade spoke, "As it'll be a quick way to be fired for telling your new bosses what to do." Crowler was shocked by their declaration as the students started to hush talk to each other.
"Like hell you are!" Draco snarled, get both of the men to glare back at him, still smirking.
"Oh, but we are." Jagger spoke, "We made a deal with Mr. Kaiba to buy this Academy. The best will become students of what will be called 'Princeton's Academy of Dueling'!"
The Blues perked up and began to chuckle, mummering about being sure ins to the future of the Academy, the Ra's looked concerned, and the Slifer's, complete wreck.
"If you think you can just claim ownership, you're dead wrong!" Draco yelled, "I'm sure there is a catch!"
"Of course, there's a catch." Slade remark, "I have to duel a student to make the deal final, and Mr. Kaiba will be attending the duel personally, to see the deal go through after I win the duel."
Draco shot up from his sit, baring his teeth at them, "I'll duel both of you, to destroy that ego of yours!"
Slade pulls the contract that was written up and signed by both Princetons with the last space empty for Kaiba, "This contract states two terms for the duel." Slade told Draco, "The first; I choice my opponent." He then looked over to Chazz, still smirking as Chazz stared in disbelief.
"You're going to duel Chazz?" Draco asked, "Even though I told you he can beat both of you in a duel?"
"Oh, that's where the second term comes in." Jagger spoke up, "The Second term;" Slade added, "Chazz will have to duel with a deck that only has Monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points."
"What the hell?!" Draco snarled.
"And Mr. Kaiba agreed to it." Jagger mocked, "And once Slade wins, every one of you scums of society who is in that pathetic excuse of dorm, will be expelled and sent home."
Immediately the entire Slifer Dorm began to protest, "Shut up you trash!" Jagger yelled out, "If you have no connections or name out there in the world, then there is no place for you in OUR Academy!"
Slade then placed a hand on Chazz's shoulder, causing him to tense up more, "Now then, we need to have a talk with Chazz." The two men got Chazz to stand up and follow them out of the class.
"Now, now!" Crowler called out, "Everyone settle down!"
"How can you tell us to settle down?!" Hiroki yelled out, "those two pretty much said everyone in the Red Dorm will be expelled if they win!"
"Some of us are still a First Year!" Tsukasa yelled out, "Do you think any of us in Slifer, who are First Years want our first year at the Academy be our last year?!"
Syrus was getting worried about this being his only year but also, seeing Draco clinching his fists on the desk, shaking in anger. Meanwhile, at one corner of the island, a small group of the Dragon Guards carefully looked around for any signs of the Shadow Riders, before Dinok stopped and began to sniff at the air, looking towards the Academy, getting the attention of the Holy Dragon Guard.
"Dinok?" Stahdim asked, "Fos dreh hi sahlon?" ("What do you smell?")
"Rahgol." ("Rage.") Dinok replied, "Nol faal Dulsosaal rei" ("From the Royal line.")
Stahdim and the others froze before he turned to two Guards, "Vonzun! Iilahnuv!" he roared, "Frolk nau faal Goraan Kulaan!" ("Check on the Young Prince!")
Vonzun and Iilahnuv both nod as the Spy took off in a full spirit and the Moon Dragon Guard took flight both heading to the Main Building. Back in Crowler's class, he was still trying to calm everyone down.
"Good riddance!" A voice for the Obelisk section yelled out, silencing the whole room. Syrus looked back and let out a small gasp, seeing Harrington leaning back in his chair, acting superior again, "Mr. Rosewood!" Crowler yelled out, "There is no need to start a class riot!"
"I'm just speaking the truth," he replied, "this Academy was meant for us- the Elites- of dueling and of life. Low-life scum such as the Slifer Slackers has no need in being here."
Draco immediately stood up, shocking the Slifers and Ras, keeping his head down as he began to walk up the stairs towards the doors of the classroom.
"D-Draco?" Syrus whimpered, as he stopped right next to Harrington, his right fist shaking in anger as Harrington leaned back in his chair, with his arms behind his head, giving Draco a superior smug look.
"Oh? Got something to say, Scumbag?" Harrington mocked, "Why don't the rest of the Trash follow their so-called 'Leader' and go pack your bags? It's clear that's what—"
Harrington was cut off by the sound of glass getting smashed followed by broken electrical wires zapping, before Crowler's computer began to give off a subtle alarm, he glanced over showing Harrington's name flashing red having bold all caps "ERROR" every time it flashed red. Harrington's, the Obelisks, and the Ras that witness it, had their mouths gapping, as the built-in computer of the desk was smash.
"What the FUCK!" Harrington yelled out, "You stupid Slifer Filth! My work for the class was currently on there! Y-you just permanently erased—" he glared up to Draco only freezing in place, as he returned a more sinister glare. Eyes slightly glowing, and unknown to Draco, were slits.
"What the fuck?!" Harrington thought, "Th-that's not normal! I knew this Slifer Scum was a freak of nature!"
"Take a close look at your desk, Harrington!" Draco snarled, "Because next time, it will be your face!" Draco left his fist from the cracked and shattered computer desk, with a few glass shards still in his knuckles with small drops of blood dripping to the floor as he opened the door, seeing Vonzun and Iilahnuv looking at him.
"Good you're here." Draco thought to Vonzun.
"Young Lord?" he asked, "What the hell was going on in there?"
"Your mission that's what." Draco replied, "Those bastards are back!"
"The Shadow Riders, finally made an attack?"
"No! That's Bastards that Chazz has for brothers!"
Vonzun rolled his eyes and crossed his arms, "Why are they back?" Vonzun asked.
"They are apparently buying the Academy."
Vonzun gave a disbelief facial expression, "They what?!"
"However," Draco continued, "they seem to have to win a duel with conditions that Kaiba approved."
"What conditions?" Vonzun chuckled, "Is it; you're not allowed to use the Dragon Guards in the duel?"
As Vonzun chuckled, Iilahnuv then nudged at the Spy, "Vonzun, faal Kulaan los nahlii graav do tol." ("Vonzun, the Prince is being serious about that.") she said.
Vonzun looked over to the Moon Guard before looking back at the glaring Dragon Prince, "Hold on. That Bastard really went and sold the Academy as a stake for the duel?!" he asked.
"And the conditions were. One; They got to choose the Student to duel, and they chose Chazz."
"What's the second condition?"
"The second condition; Chazz has to duel with Monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points."
"Fos faal ausul?!" ("What the hell?!") Iilahnuv snarled.
"Believe me, Iilahnuv. I've thought the same." Draco explained, "Vonzun, I need you to find Chazz and tell me what they are plotting with him." Draco then began to walk away, towards the exhibit.
"Wait, what about you, Young Lord?"
"I need to talk to Dad." He continued to walk down the hallway, but stopped and turned to see Iilahnuv following, "Don't follow me, Iilahnuv!"
"Mu lost fun wah frolk nau hi, hi ofan Vonzun ahsod, dii los wah dein miin nau hi." ("We were told to check on you, you gave Vonzun a mission, mine is to keep an eye on you.") she replied, "Ont hi ofaal wah Drog Krono, Zu'u fen tal zek wal vorey." ("Once you get to Lord Krono, I will report back to the others.")
Vonzun watched the large Dragoness follow their young prince, "Alright, better I start to pinpoint that boy's scent first." Vonzun said to himself.
"Oh, thank the Gods! I found at least one of you!" Vonzun looked surprised and turned to the source of the voice and sighed in relief.
"Oh, it's just Yellow." He sighed out, "What is it?"
"Chazz needs help!" Yellow exclaimed, "Where's your Prince?!"
"Went to talk to his father." Vonzun replied, "Show me where Chazz is, the Young Lord asked me to check on him anyways." The two Spirits went towards where Chazz and his brothers were at. Meanwhile at the exhibit, Yugi got through with several other photos and autographs before giving out a tired sigh and rubbing his right wrist.
"Whoa, hold up, everyone!" Joey said to the students in line, "I think we need to give Yugi a break. I think he's getting a cramp in his wrist."
Getting a few complaining groans but was reassured that it was understandable, and the line went about through the exhibit, Tristan then reached under the table Yugi was sitting at and placed a small little sign reading "On break. Be back in fifteen minutes."
"Ah, thanks guys." Yugi said as he stands up and walks through the exit of the exhibit, "You guys want anything from the Academy's Café?"
"Just bring us what you think is best, Yugi!" Tristan called out.
"Too bad we can't go with you!" Krono yelled out, "But the Exhibit does need us."
Yugi chuckled as he began to walk to the Café section, stopping at a map guide as he got a little lost.
"You know, if you ignore the attitude of that Blude Dorm, these students are very excited to meet you." Atem spoke up.
"Yeah, you got that right." Yugi replied, "But I do have to agree with what I heard from Krono and his son."
"How the Slifer Dorm is what it is, because Kaiba is still holding a grudge at losing his duel with us in the Battle City Finals?"
"Yeah." Yugi replied with sigh, and began to walk again, "Kaiba has the money he could have easily made the Red Dorm at least a three-star hotel."
After a few minutes, Yugi spotted the Café section and began to head to one of the venues but stopped when he noticed Atem looking further down the hall.
"Hey, what's on your mind?" he asked.
"Yugi, isn't that Krono's son, Draco?" Yugi looked in the direction Atem was looking down, and also saw Draco quick marching through the section, and thanks to the Millennium Puzzle, they even saw the large dragon following him.
"It looks like he is looking for someone." Yugi stated.
"Yugi," Atem said, "Let me have control for a second."
"Huh?"
"Just for a second. It seems Draco is also angry."
Yugi looked back at Draco and noticed he was indeed angry as he got closer and was about to walk pass, "Hey, you're right. Alright make it quick." Yugi closed his eyes as the Millennium Puzzle began to glow, once the light faded, Atem opened his eyes just as Draco walked right in front of them and didn't notice the light.
"Draco, am I correct?" Atem asked, getting Draco to slightly gasp and finally noticed him.
"Oh, Yugi." He said, "what are you—wait a second." Draco scanned the person in front of him, eyeing a few things; Hair was more spiked, the eyes were a different shape, but more importantly, the height was different, "Y-you're Atem at the moment, aren't you?"
"Indeed, I am." Atem replied, "But before anything else, could you tell your Guard to calm down?"
Draco looked surprised before looking back and noticed Iilahnuv baring her fangs and snarling threateningly at him, "Hey Iilahnuv, Knock it off!" Draco roared, "You are threatening the Pharaoh of Ancient Egypt and Savoir of the world of the Shadow Games, Atem!"
The Moon Guard stopped snarled and looked ashamed before backing down from her stance and began to coward behind Draco, "I didn't think anyone but my family and those with permission, could see them."
"Heh-heh, well I do admire her loyalty to you and your parents." Atem chuckled, "But to what I wanted to ask you; What has got you so angry?"
Draco was hesitant to tell anyone but his father, "From one Ruler to the next." Atem kindly stated. After about ten minutes, Draco explained everything, to which Atem was visibly pissed.
"How can Kaiba agree to such a thing!?" he slightly demanded, "And to such terms?!"
"No idea." Draco admitted, "If anything I think—"
"So, this is what you've been up to." Draco and Atem looked down the hallway to the exhibit to see Joey, Tristan and Krono approaching them.
"Shouldn't you guys be at the exhibit?" Atem asked, getting the three of them to slightly do a double take.
"Oh! It's the Pharaoh." Joey sighed out, "Well, some of the lights started to flicker and the monitors showing the duels of Battle City started to glitch out."
"So, the exhibit is temporary closed for technical repairs?" Draco asked.
"Yeah," Tristan replied, "but now I'm curious about why Atem is out."
"I think it's best for Draco to explain." Atem stated, clearly still anger.
"Is there are reason you are pissed off, buddy?" Joey asked, as Krono looked over at Draco and noted Iilahnuv standing behind him.
"And why is the Moon Dragon Guard with you?" he asked, causing Joey and Tristan to look.
"Who is he talking about?" Joey asked, in a hush tone.
"I think it's one of their Guards." Tristan replied.
"She is." Draco stated overhearing them, and then turned to the Dragon they are unable to see, "You told me, that you were ordered to watch me until I got to my Dad. Well, he's here. You can return to your previous task."
The large Dragoness bowed her head and went off, leaving Joey and Tristan very confused, "Must have been a large Guard." Joey muttered.
"Now," Krono spoke up, "Draco, what has Atem pissed off?"
After a brief recap on what happened in his class, "What the hell is that idiot Kaiba thinking?!" Joey yelled.
"Joey calmed down." Tristan pleaded, "You are not the only one pissed by this."
"Everyone in the Slifer Dorm is pissed or worried." Draco stated, "But truthfully, I'm worried about Chazz."
"You're worried about the jerk you dueled for your representative match?" Krono asked, "After what he and his brothers—"
"His brothers organized that broadcast, Dad!" Draco snapped, "And besides, after that duel his family disowned him, and he became part of the Slifer Dorm!"
"So, now you think they are trying to get him to throw the duel, to not only keep a position in the dorm, but also become part of their family again?" Atem asked.
"I don't know," Draco replied, "I was actually going to find you to see if—"
"Young Lord!" Vonzun suddenly appeared kneeling next to the chair Draco was sitting in and causing Joey and Tristan to yell out from his sudden appearance.
"The hell are you two screaming for?" Krono asked, "You met this Guard before."
"Vonzun, what did you find out?" Draco asked the Spy.
About fifteen minutes early, Vonzun followed Yellow down the hallway, until the came across a private room for guests, "They went in there, before I could follow." Yellow stated, "And I heard a click. I think they also locked it."
Vonzun just glared over to the small Ojama in disbelief, before walking towards the door, "Hey! I told you they locked it!" Yellow shouted, before watching Vonzun faze through the door and then popped his head back out.
"You're a Spirit, dumbass." Vonzun growled.
"Oh. Right."
After Yellow joined him in the room Vonzun bared his fangs hearing what was said.
"…so, all you have to do is throw the Duel." Slade told Chazz, "Afterwards, you'll be put back in the Blue Dorm and be welcome back into the family."
"I'm not going to be humiliated in front of the whole Academy!" Chazz spat out.
"Oh? Like how you weren't 'humiliated' with the live broadcast months ago?!" Jagger stated, "Because you refuse to use the deck, we provided you lost that duel!"
Chazz froze up again, "Those bastards!" Vonzun snarled, "They are trying to bribe him into just letting them win!"
"So, you're going to make up for disobeying us by throwing this duel." Slade told Chazz.
"Then why not just have me forfeit the Duel!" Chazz yelled back.
"Oh, we can't have that." Jagger said, holding the contract to Chazz, "It clearly says you have to duel. So, that's what you are going to do."
"And you WILL use this deck!" Slade ordered as he shoved a deck they created for the duel, "If you don't use it, I'll be sure you will never have the strength to duel again."
Vonzun bared his fangs, snarled at the two men as they began to leave the room, leaving Chazz with the deck they want him to use, "Yellow keep an eye on your human." Vonzun ordered, as be began to leave.
"What am I supposed to—" Yellow started, but couldn't finish as Vonzun was gone, "And I'm talking to myself again."
"That's all I was able to get." Vonzun said, "I have my theory that deck is nothing but Normal Monsters."
"Yeah, no doubt about that." Tristan stated, "Almost like how Joey started."
"This isn't the time for jokes, Tristan." Krono slightly growled.
"I agree with Krono." Atem added, he then looked over at Joey who seemed deep in thought, "Hey, Joey?"
"Huh? What?"
"You seem deep in thought there for a second. Care to share?" Atem asked.
"Well, I am disgust with what is going on with those two scumbags and Kaiba." Joey replied, "What's on my mind is this; the contract they have says this Chazz has to duel with a deck with Monsters having 1000 or less Attack Points, right?"
"That's right." Draco replied, "They made sure to rub that part in."
"Well, did you look at that section yourself?" Joey asked.
Draco thought long and hard, remembering when Slade pulled the contract out, and seeing the terms of the deck, "I did." He stated, "It said' 'The chosen Duelist must use a deck using monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points.' It said those exact words."
"Thought so." Joey said with a chime in his voice, "I believe there is a work-around it."
Everyone looked at him with his words, "Uh, 'Work-around'?" Atem asked.
"Joey? Do you mean a 'Loophole'?" Krono asked.
"Yeah, that." Joey replied, "Since Draco saw it say the Attack Points have to be 1000 or less, but never the Defense Points."
"Mr. Wheeler." Draco sighed out, "I love that upbeat attitude, I really do. But what Monster other than Golem Dragon, Heimwahl, and Vahraniik, what other monsters could there be?"
"Glad you ask!" Joey replied with a smile, has he pulled his deck out and began to look through it.
"That reminds me. I need to give him back his Elemental Sabre." Draco thought.
"Here it is." Joey said as he pulled a card and laid on the table for everyone to see. The card showed a large shield with a bright red center, golden edge, and having the Millennium Insignia.
"The Millennium Shield!" Atem slightly gasped, "A Monster Pegasus, made to be a Millennium Item card."
"That's right." Joey said, "I got it from the Shop they have here. It's a Super Rare card, but Draco tell me what's the Attack Points?"
"Well, it says, zero." He replied.
"And the Defense?"
Draco looked over and his eyes slightly widen as he looked at the number he saw, "What the hell?! 3000 Defense Points?!"
"That's right," Joey chuckled, "and since it has zero Attack Points, it is allowed with their condition."
Tristan looked shocked, "Damn, I never expected joey to come up with such a great idea."
As Joey and Tristan caused a commotion, Draco stood up getting them to look at him, "I need to talk to Chazz!" he said, "And tell him, there is a way he can fight back!"
Draco quickly thanked them and took off running down the main hallway, leaving the four adults sitting and standing around the table.
"So, is he really going to try and talk to the kid?" Tristan asked.
"He will." Krono replied, "He is very much like myself and his Mother. Always ready to help."
Joey couldn't help but chuckle, seeing how much Draco was pretty much not just like his parents, but also like Yugi's friend circle. He then noticed Mai, looking down the hallway she came from, which was the same Draco ran down.
"Hey, Mai." He called out.
"Hey, Joey." She replied as she approached the table, "What was with Draco there? I wanted to ask him something, but he said he something important to say to Chazz."
"Was it about, Kaiba selling the Academy?" Krono asked.
"Well, yes." Mai replied, "One of my students, Mana Ishtar to be precise, said she got a text from Syrus, saying something like that. What the hell is going on?"
Draco ran across the fields and forest of the island, reaching the Red Dorm, panting heavily as he searched his pockets for the key card, pulling it out his blazer's pocket and placed it in the reader as the light shows green. Opening the door, Draco was greeted with Chazz closing a backpack.
"Chazz? What the hell?!" Draco demanded, "What are you doing?"
"What does it look like?!" Chazz snapped back, "I'm packing and leaving!"
"You're running away?!"
"It's better than being humiliated in front of everyone with such a pathetic deck!" Chazz then threw the deck his brothers gave, causing them to scatter on the table, and allowing Draco look at the cards, seeing nothing but Level 1 through 3 Normal Monsters.
"Vonzun was right." Draco growled, "Chazz you are missing two points about this duel."
"Just shut up!" Chazz yelled, glaring at Draco, showing watered up eyes, "If I lose the duel, the entire Slifer Dorm will blame me for getting them kicked out! If by some fucking miracle I win the duel, they will say I was cheating and had cards that had over 1000 Attacks Points!"
"But wouldn't that mean they admit of cheating?!" Draco snarled back, getting Chazz to jump back, "If they 'knew' you had Monsters with over 1000 Attack Points, Kaiba would know they were the ones that cheated. And he wouldn't let the deal go through with distrustful shitheads!"
Chazz sat down and began to breath heavily, as Draco leaned into the wall, "Look there is a way for you to fight back." Draco told him, more calmed, "Mr. Wheeler and Yugi showed me how."
"How?" Chazz asked, still sounding defeated, "How can anyone win with that kind of deck?"
"Mr. Wheeler pointed out the terms of the Monsters having 1000 or less Attack Points ONLY." Draco replied, "It doesn't say anything about Defense Points. You can have, say Millennium Shield, a Level 5 Monster that has Zero Attack Points, but 3000 Defense Points."
Chazz immediately shot to his feet, "Are you shitting me?!"
"I'm not." Draco replied, "So by their terms, you can use it. And the second thing; the terms never said you can use Spells and Traps to increase your Monsters' Attack."
Chazz looked shocked as he ran his hand through his hair as he held his head, "What the fuck?!" he yelled, "How did I fucking miss those facts?!"
"They were missing with you." Draco guessed, "Telling you things you wanted to hear if you obey them. Becoming a part of the family if you listen to them and duel their way."
"So wait, that means if, with that Monster you mentioned, I can use Shield and Sword to switch its Attack and Defense, giving it 3000 Attack Points for one turn?"
"You can." Draco replied, "But that will leave you open on Slade's turn."
"Damn!" Chazz hissed, "We need a more permanent answer."
Just then, Ojama Yellow began to make any exciting noise as both boys look over to him, bouncing up and down, "For fuck's sake!" Chazz yelled, "What is it?!"
"My home!" Yellow yelled, "My home is the answer!"
"You're home?" Draco asked.
"Yes!" Yellow replied, "It's Field Spell, Ojama Country! As long as there's an Ojama out, all Monsters stats are switched!"
Draco's eyes lit up as he rushed to the computer of the room and began searching for other Ojama cards, "Hey Chazz look at these!"
Chazz came over and looked at the cards the screen displayed, before giving out his signature cocky chuckle, "Well, it seems I do have a fighting chance."
"You don't have time to go to the shop and buy packs." Draco stated, "You have to be at the Main Stadium in about two hours."
"I know a place where we can get weak cards."
The two, or rather three of them, walked out of the dorm, after Chazz grabbed two good length of rope and began to head into the forest, following a path before turning off of it and walked into a heavily dense area.
"Hey, Chazz?" Draco slightly called out, "I know you are trying to be 'the cool guy' and everything, but where the fuck are we going?!"
"We are going to the Well of Weaklings." Chazz replied, causing Draco to slightly stop for a second before continuing to follow him.
"Do I even want to know, why it's called that?"
"Well to sum it up," Chazz explains, "it's where the students dump their weakest cards. And it's not just Obelisks and Ras. Slifers have done it as well."
Draco suddenly froze in place, hearing that, "I just hope none of those cards housed Duel Spirits." He muttered.
Chazz turned around looking at Draco, "What's to worry about?" he asked, "If they are just a bunch of weak Spirits, it shouldn't be a problem."
"Weak Duel Spirits are dangerous in large numbers." Draco replied, "Twenty of them will be too much for me."
"But I'm sure if I were to tell them you're the crowned Dragon Prince, they will ease up." Yellow theorized.
"I do hope you are right about that." Draco mutters. After about twenty minutes, they made it to a small clearing, Draco looked around at their surroundings seeing an old, aged well and two decent trees on both sides of the well in the center of the clearing.
"Alright, I'll get the ropes tied down to the trees." Chazz said, "Then I'll throw the down and we'll get down there."
Draco slowly walked to the well and peered down, before getting a chill and slightly growled as he backed from the well, "Hey, what's up?" Chazz asked, as he finished the first rope.
"Th-there's a lot of Duel Spirits down there." Draco stammered.
"Umm, how many are down there?" Chazz asked.
"I…I don't know." Draco replied, "There's too many for me to get an exact number."
"Well, great." Chazz muttered as he walked to the next tree, "So what now? You going to chicken out?"
"We need the cards." Draco muttered, "Let's get this over with and hope they will listen."
After Chazz threw down the ropes down the well, they both checked if they were secured with a few tug, before slowly descending down into the old well. The closer they went down; Draco shook off his instincts telling him to climb the rope out and continue to climb down. They touched the ground and turned the flashlights they brought to look around.
"Well, here are all the weak cards." Chazz said, shining the light down revealing many low-level cards as well as some spells and traps. Draco's eyes snapped noticing the Monster cards slightly glowing.
"Oh shit." He muttered, "We're about to have company."
"Huh?" Chazz asked before he also noticed a ball of light coming out of each Monster card and taking the form of the Monster in their pictures. Some readying their weapons, others cracking their knuckles, and others being more of the Beast-Types baring their fangs.
"You humans have no right to come here!" a Magician of Faith yelled, "Your kind threw us down here as if we are useless! We swore to make humans pay if they ever come into our well!"
"Please, listen!" Draco pleaded, "I wouldn't do anything like that, but we need help."
"We will not help any of you humans!" another monster yelled out, "You don't have authority here!"
Yellow quickly got between everyone, "Hold on everyone!" he yelled, "It's the truth, we do need help!"
"You dare defend the very humans who cast us aside?!" Magician of Faith demanded.
"Hold on!" a voice yelled out. The low-level Monsters parted as two made their way to the front, one being a short, kind of chubby, black creature. The other, small, physically fit, cyclops looking creature.
"Is that Yellow?" the green creature asked. Yellow looked at the two creatures as his eyes began to water up with tears.
"Does Yellow know them?" Chazz asked.
"He might." Draco replied.
"Black! Green!" Yellow exclaimed, before floating out as the two he called out did the same, he three meeting and hugging in the center of everyone.
"Oh, now I remember." Draco said, "The Ojama Brothers. The known pranksters of the Spirit World."
"Pranksters?" Chazz asked.
"Yeah, my Mother told me they did a lot of pranks in the Spirit World, but everyone found it a good laugh, even their targets. However, a prank they pulled on my Mother didn't end well."
"What do you mean?" Chazz asked, looking worried.
"Well," Draco replied, with a pained face, "She set over half of the Ojama Country on fire with her Flame."
"Hold on, how would you know any of that?" the Green Ojama asked.
"Oh right." Yellow said, "I was meaning to do introduction." Yellow floated back to Dracon and Chazz and cleared his throat, "The reason he knows about that, is because this is in fact the crowned Dragon Prince, Draco Kaitos."
Some of the Monsters began looking at each other in confusing while others groan out, "This isn't a time for your pranks!" Magician of Faith yelled.
"Umm, he's not lying." Draco said, "What kind of proof can I show? That doesn't involve my Flame." Draco got glares for the many Spirits that didn't believe him, "I mean there is plenty of Spirit Energy here, but I really don't want to prove myself that way."
"Mun tol nok!" a Spirit roared out. ("Human that lies!")
Draco looked around and spotted the Monster Baby Dragon, and chuckled, "If I am lying Baby Dragon, then how do I know exactly what you said in the Ancestral Tongue."
"Any one of us knows what he said!" another Spirit yelled out, "We've been down here for years."
"Ruz gelaar vir Zu'u vis tinvaak faal Meyruv Vun." Draco snarled out. ("Then explain how I can speak the Ancestral Tongue.") Immediately the Spirits went silent, hearing a human speaking a language that shouldn't have any knowledge on.
"Th-that's impossible." Magician of Faith gasped, "A-a human in this World sh-should have no knowledge on that language."
"That's because I'm not a human." Draco replied, "I'm the son of Lord of the Red-Eyed Dragon, Krono. And of Queen Saffira."
Now the Spirits that didn't believe Yellow began begging for mercy and forgiveness, "Hey chill out." He told them, "It was a misunderstanding after all."
"He is right about that." Draco stated, "Now will you guys helps us out?"
"And why should we help you?!" Magician of Faith snapped.
"Because Chazz here, is forced to build and use a deck of Duel Monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points!" Draco yelled, "And you are trying to harm the only one who is going to show the entire Academy that you all have worth in a deck?"
"I also told them that those of you who have low Attack, but high Defense will work great with us Ojama in our country." Yellow added.
"But it's not just the Defense we are looking for." Chazz said, "I'm looking for any one of you who has a Special Ability that can be helpful."
"Such as what?" A Spirit asked.
"Maybe a destruction protection?"
Draco looked around and noticed one Spirit, being a strange shade or teal of blue with pale white like veins over its body as well as two almost bug-like shell covering on its shoulders. It also seems to only have the upper and middle body with no lower half, a strange opening in the middle of the creature, but the biggest thing catching Draco's eyes, the "face" of the creature. A small orb for a head having a single eye very similar to the Millennium Eye.
"Hey! You in the back!" Draco yelled out, pointing to the creature, getting it to lower its shell-like coverings to fold down and cover its body as its "head" tucks closely to it and into an opening between the shell, before it slowly approached him, "I knew it. You're Relinquished."
"What's so great about that Monster?" Chazz asked.
"Relinquished, is the best card in Mr. Pegasus' deck." Draco replied, "Even though it has zero Attack and Defense, it's power is it's Special Ability; Defense Shield."
"And that does what exactly?"
"It allows Relinquished to take one of your Opponent's Monsters and uses its Attack and Defense Points as its own, plus if your Opponent attacks with a stronger card, the Monster Relinquished took will be destroyed instead and the Opponent will take the damage since it was their Monster."
"Well," Chazz said with a smile, "That does seem to work. Alright, I'll make you all a deal! If you let me use any of you to help save the Academy, I'll be sure to tell everyone that I won with the cards they threw out, making them regret everything they did to you!"
All of the Spirits cheered and began to help Chazz and Draco to look around. Draco finding Black Illusion Ritual for Relinquished, Chazz finding some Spells and Traps that works with the Ojama cards, even the Field Spell Yellow spoke of.
"Who the hell threw Trap Hole of Spikes down here?!"
"Hey, I found a Millennium Shield!"
"Boss what about Threatening Roar? It can prevent the Opponent from attacking."
"Awesome! Anyone found any good Spells I can use for Offensive purpose?"
"Hey, Chazz? Can't you use United We Stand?"
"Shit! Thanks for reminding me, Draco!"
Meanwhile, over the ocean a Blue-Eyes White Dragon looking jet flew across the sky, heading right for Duel Academy, the jet slowed down as it then hovered in front of the Main Building, the wings turned upward, with the engines on each side facing the ground as the jet began to lower slowly and landed right in front of the Academy. The hatch opened as a man wearing a long white coat jumped out from the jet and walked to through the doors, the attendant at the desk began to shiver in terror as the man walked pass the desk and began to walk down a hallway. Over at the Exhibit, Yugi apologized to everyone that was waiting for him, trying not to spread what Draco told him or the others. Tristan and Krono walked around the Exhibit to be sure no one was breaking any rules and Joey stayed by Yugi, to keep the line in check.
"Alright, here is your photo." Yugi told a student, handing the autographed photo the student took with him.
"Thank you." The student replied.
"And just remember." Yugi said, "You may be in the Red Dorm, but that doesn't mean you are a nobody. Just remember, the greatest of duelists started as regular people like yourself."
"But I'm sure Seto Kaiba didn't start of as a nobody." A Blue student spoke up behind the Slifer Yugi was talking to.
"Actually," Joey chimed in, unable to control himself, "Kaiba started off as an orphan boy with no name."
The Obelisk was stun for a second, "As much as would love for a Nobody like yourself, Wheeler, to keep my family business as far away from you as possible."
The sudden voice caused Joey to groan out in irritation, as he looks at the entrance of the Exhibit to see the one person he always hates seeing.
"Ugh, Kaiba." Joey groaned, "To what do we owe the displeasure of seeing you?"
"I suggest if you want to get paid, Wheeler, you will shut up." Kaiba snapped, "I will not be talked in such a way by a third-rate Duelist."
Joey growled at the statement, that always would get under his skin, "You're talking about yourself, right?" Krono spoke up, getting Kaiba to glare over to him at the insult, "Since you did lose all three Blue-Eyes White Dragon Cards to my wife in your own tournament."
Kaiba glared over to Krono, "What the hell did you say to me?!" he demanded, "What do you mean 'your wife'?!"
"I'm talking about, Sophi Kaitos." Krono replied, "She won all three White Dragons from you in three duels in a row. And my son is currently the best student in the Academy."
Kaiba let out a mocking laugh, "As if a nobody can be number one." He said.
"Didn't Yugi start as a nobody against you in your first duel with him?" Joey muttered.
Kaiba quickly shot his glare over to Joey, "He is right, you know." Krono stated, "And for someone who owns this Academy, you don't keep up with any updates that happens?"
"Come to think of it, Mokuba did tell us he looked at the monthly updates." Tristan stated, "And he did say he sent every monthly update to you. How is it you never knew that Krono's kid became number one in just a few months?"
"Weeks, Tristan." Krono corrected, "Draco was only in the Academy for about a month and three weeks."
"That still feels like a few months." Tristan replied.
Kaiba pulled out a tablet from his coat and after a few onscreen presses, he logged into his company and looked at the documents for the Academy, opened the 'Boys' file, and his eyes got angrier and wider as he looked at the first month, seeing Draco's Academy page, went from the bottom of the list to the second position at the end of first month, and after the second month ending, Draco was then on the top of the page.
"How is this possible?!" he thought, "A nobody went for 700th to 1st in just two months?!"
"Where is your brat?!" Kaiba demanded from Krono.
"He's helping the kid that is forced to use a deck with Monsters of 1000 or less Attack, that you approved of for the fate of this Academy." Krono growled.
"Huh?" the small line of students questioned as the adults looked back.
"Ah, shit." Krono grumbled.
"The one thing we tried not to do." Joey added.
"Well, we don't know the exact details," Yugi told the students, "but for some reason Kaiba is selling the Academy, unless a specific students wins a duel."
"Well, seeing how a peasant was able to be running the Academy, it's a good business deal to put scum like that back in their place."
The new voice made everyone look down the hallway, towards the dueling stadium, seeing a woman holding a tablet, her black hair up in a bun as she fixes her glasses, and wearing a classy business suit/skirt.
"Ok, who are you?" Tristan asked, only to get ignored by the lady as she walks up to Kaiba and extends her hand to him, "Miranda Princeton, Secretary to the President of Princeton Corp. and Vice-President of the Corporation."
Kaiba shook her hand as Krono looked over to Tristan, quite ticked that he was ignored.
"I was expecting to meet with your President." Kaiba told her, as she fixed her glasses again, "My husband takes care of business inside the building and over phone calls." She replied, "I take care of off-site business, such as buying this Academy."
Krono heard a student chuckling, and glared at the Obelisk student, causing him to immediately to stop, "And I have done an inspection." The woman continued, "There will be some changes and updating to the grounds, the first being the removal of that eyesore of a storage building."
"What storage building?" Kaiba asked.
"I'm talking about that eyesore near the east end of the island, by the bridge to the loading dock." Miranda slightly snapped.
Krono looked over to Tristan and Joey as one of them pulled a map of the Academy out, and looked at the location she spoke of, "That's the Slifer Dorm!" Joey yelled, "You're seriously planning to tear a dorm of the Academy down?!"
Miranda closed her eyes and turned her head, letting out a huff, almost annoyed with Joey's outburst, "Once this place becomes the Princeton's Academy of Dueling, there will be no need for a storage for peasants." She snapped, "That building will be torn down and everyone associated with that building will be sent home immediately."
The Slifers that in the line for Yugi looked shocked, the Obelisk that received Krono's glare smirked before realizing what Miranda said, "Umm, what a minute. What about Professor Banner?" the Obelisk asked, "He's the head of the Slacker Dorm, but he happens to be a favorite teacher at the Academy."
Miranda again looked over her shoulder, fixing her glasses again, "It's like she's trying to mock us, with the way she's 'fixing' her glasses that way." Krono growled to himself.
"As I said, everyone associated with that building will be sent home immediately." She repeated, very annoyed, "Now if you excuse me, I have important things to discuss with Mr. Kaiba."
She and Kaiba began to walk away, "Hold on, Kaiba!" Joey yelled, "You can't possible—"
"When the duel is over, and I sign the contract, they can do whatever they want with this place." Kaiba replied.
Joey just growled, Krono and Tristan looked at each other, before looking over to Yugi, who looks at the students in line, "Hey guys? I know you've been in line for a photo with me and getting autographed."
"A lot just happened." The Obelisk replied, "I don't care what happens to the Slacker Dorm, but Professor Banner is liked here, at least he should stay here."
"Then by that logic, the Slifer Dorm has to stay." Krono stated, "It's the only way for him to stay here."
"Anyways," Yugi spoke up, "I think we should hold off the rest of the autographs, until this is all over. I'll get to everyone before the exhibit ends today."
The students nod their heads and left the Exhibit, leaving only the four guys, as Krono sighed out.
"Damn, Joey you are right." He said, "I heard from my wife that Kaiba was full of himself, and you telling me he is such a prick, and you are right."
"Let's just sit somewhere and try to clear our heads." Joey stated. After a few minutes, the four of them sat down at a table and sighed out in exhaustion, "Damn that Kaiba!" Joey exclaimed, "Many of the students here just started, and a few months in, he wants them out."
"Hell, we've known Kaiba has done some dumb shit." Tristan added, "But this? Takes the cake."
"Even after that public announcement, about this Academy when he decided to build it four years ago." Yugi stated, "How it would be 'The greatest place for all future duelists' only to turn his back on his own word."
"Honestly," Krono chimed, "If my boy talked to this Chazz kid, we have nothing to worry about." The others looked over at him, "With the loophole Joey pointed out, I'm sure my boy will find a way to get the kid to put up a better fight than anything this Academy has seen. Draco can see many ways a single card can work in the right deck."
"And last not forget that duel three nights ago," Joey added, "He used Yugi's belief, and it pulled through for him."
"That's true." Yugi added, "So, I agree with Krono. Draco will find a way for Chazz to win in the end."
Just then the Academy's loudspeakers chime off, "Attention to all Student and Staff." The Chancellor's voice spoke out, "A rumor was going around about the Academy being sold. I'm afraid to say, they are true. A special duel will happen in fifteen minutes to decide what will the Academy's future will be."
After which the speakers chime off, "Oh boy." Joey muttered, "We better find a place to watch the duel."
"Important matters, firsts." Krono stated, "We need to find Draco and that Chazz kid." After suggesting that the two boys came running by them, catching everyone at the table attention, "Hey Draco!"
"Dad?" Draco replied, "What did the Chancellor say? Chazz and I only heard the chime of the speakers going off."
"Well, your pal's duel starts in about fifteen minutes." Tristan answered, "So, he needs to get into the dueling stadium."
"Draco thought as much." Chazz replied, "We were both running there right now."
"Alright, we won't hold you." Yugi said, "Good luck."
"Heh, Slade's the one who needs that." Chazz chuckled.
"Let's hurry to the stadium, Chazz." Draco said, "If you're late, no doubt they will try to make the signing go to their favor anyways."
Both boys took off running towards the stadium as the four guys stood up, "Well, let's find a spot to watch this duel." Joey said.
"That will be easy, Hun." The look over seeing Mai walking up to them, "There is a section for the teachers and visitors to see the duel." She told them, "But you will be in the same section."
"Uhg!" Tristan groaned, "I think three of us would prefer standing outside of the section, so we don't have to listen to him."
"Not to mention, that section might have that bitch in there as well." Krono pointed out, "And we know I will bite her head off if I hear her talk down to us."
"Yeah, that will be true." Yugi pointed out, "I figure I'll be sitting in there."
"You could take a break and I can take your place." Atem chimed in, "After all, Kaiba sees me as the one he needs to defeat."
"Which doesn't make sense, since I did defeat you and the God Cards during that Ritual Duel." Yugi pointed out, "You would think that since I did defeat you, he would try to defeat me in a duel."
"Yugi must be talking to the Pharaoh." Krono told the others as he noticed Yugi being silence and having a stare of deep thought.
"Wait he is still around?" Mai asked, "I thought after that duel Joey told me, the Other Yugi went to the afterlife."
"Well, he did." Joey explained, "But also the Items returned to their owners, and the Pharaoh is still tied to the Puzzle."
"How he explained it," Yugi spoke up, hearing them, "in the afterlife he is wearing the Puzzle and thus we are still connected, and he can come and go as he pleases."
"It is hard to understand it all." Mai said, "I mean Joey did say we can tell the difference with your height when he comes out."
"Well, it's more than that." Yugi stated, "We'll show you." To which the Puzzle began to glow then the light fainted after a few seconds, "Is it still a little too hard?" Atem asked.
Mai looked up and down at Atem before chuckling and smirking, "Well, it's not just the height," she said, "I can tell the hair and eyes are different. But what was with the sudden change?"
"Mostly Kaiba." Atem replied, "But I couldn't help but listen in when that woman appeared. Miranda Princeton, I think?"
"Yeah, that's her." Krono growled, "Word of advice? Just tell Kaiba what everyone is thinking."
Thirteen minutes had passed, the Stadium had filled up, Krono, Tristan, and Joey as well as other security officers, patrolled the stadium's stands, making sure no one was causing trouble. Krono managed to spot two familiar hair styles, within a group of six.
"Hey there, Alexis, Syrus." Both of them jumped as they heard the sudden voice, but Alexis let out a soft sigh seeing the owner.
"Hello there, Mr. Kaitos." She replied.
"N-nice to see you again." Syrus stuttered, recovering from the surprise.
"Mr. Kaitos?" Bastion asked, "Ah, so you're Draco's father."
Krono looked over to Bastion with a raised brow, "I'm sorry, who are you?"
"Draco has never said anything about me?"
"I've only heard about Syrus and Alexis."
"Well, I feel a little hurt." Bastion joked, "Well, Mr. Kaitos, I'm Bastion Misawa."
Krono began to think over the name, before his face lit up, "Oh! Right, my wife told me about you." He said, "Draco begged her to use the Blue-Eyes White Dragons for his duel to be a representative for an Academy vs. Academy duel." He then looked at the other three girls, "And you three are also in his friend circle, correct?"
"We are." Jasmine replied, "I'm Jasmine."
"Name's Mindy."
"I'm Mana."
Krono acknowledged them, then slightly looked up seeing the three Spirits that is hanging with them.
"Umm, I just have to say, it's a huge honor to be in the presents of Dragon Royalty." Dark Magician Girl slightly squealed, "I'm—"
"I'm familiar with you." Krono replied, "I remember when you were knee high to Dark Paladin, even at such a young age, you wanted to study on Dark Dragon Magic, to become a Dark Dragoon. There may be many cards of you, but only two have Spirits."
Dark Magician Girl began to let out cheerful giggles as Krono looked over to Tania as she wasn't paying attention with her arms crossed, "Oh! That's Tania." Dark Magician Girl said, "She's the Amazoness Champion."
"I'm familiar with the Amazoness ways, since Saffira has done business with them." He replied, "Now, what about Des Volstagh?"
The large dark crimson dragon shamefully looked away, "Well, he was trying to possess Syrus." Dark Magician Girl replied, "But after he lost to Draco and Dinok, I think, Draco ordered him to serve Syrus."
"I see." Krono replied, then looked back to the group, "So, any of you have thoughts on the duel coming up?"
The six students looked at each other, giving some thought between them, "Well knowing Draco," Alexis said, "he'll find use for any card and loopholes for any condition in the duel."
Over in the entrance hallway to the dueling platform, Chazz looked around, "Tch! They're going to broadcast this duel as well!"
"Of course, they are." Draco remarked, "A 'Great Princeton' is going to win the Academy from Seto Kaiba."
"Heh-heh, well they will be in a world of hurt with this deck you help build." Chazz chuckled.
"I hope everyone is ready." Draco said, before Yellow appeared in front of them.
"We are more than ready, Boss #2!" he happily said.
"Uhh, 'Boss #2'?" Draco asked.
"Yeah, what the hell is up with that?" Chazz added.
"Well, that's we decided to start calling him, since this deck was thanks to his help."
"'We'?" Draco and Chazz asked, before Black and Green appeared.
"Yeah, every Monster in the deck agreed that you are now the second Boss." Green said.
"It was an unimmunized decision." Black added.
"That's uh, a little uncomfortable for me." Draco muttered, "Maybe just stick with the Royal Titles."
"Seriously." Chazz said, "It was weird hearing them call you that."
"Well, if you say so." Yellow replied, "But we are ready to show those bastards that we are not weak!"
"Alright, I'm going to find the gang, since only the Duelists are the only ones allowed down here."
"Then explain that." Chazz stated, seeing both Jagger and Slade by the platform. Draco looked confused but his eyes went towards the audience and noticed his father by the friend circle.
"Hmm, wait, I just thought of something." He said.
"Huh? What?" Chazz asked.
"Rovit!" Draco yelled, getting the Scout to appear, and kneeled in front of him.
"What is it you need?" Rovit asked.
"I need you to get my Dad to go to Chazz's Dorm room." Draco ordered, "I have a feeling those guys are going to try to have to duel go in their favor, I need you to get my Dad to get the deck on the table in Chazz's room., and a reminder, my friends know of you don't hide from them."
"Understood." Rovit replied, before vanishing.
"Why do you want him to get that deck?" Chazz asked.
"Think about." Draco replied, "They told you to use the deck THEY made for the duel. If we get them to accidently slip-up by admitting they tried to rig the duel, Kaiba will want answers."
"Oh, I see now."
Getting back to the group, "Well I do hope Draco gets here soon," Krono said, "the duel is about to start."
"Yeah, I haven't seen him since Dr. Crowler's class." Syrus stated.
"King Krono?" a sudden voice caused the group to gasp out, but for Krono, he looked down, seeing the Guard kneeling to him.
"Rovit?" Krono asked, "What are you doing here?"
"I've been asked- well, ordered- by the Young Lord," he replied, "to ask you to retrieve a deck that is in the room belonging to the boy that is dueling."
"And how will I know which room belongs to the kid?" Krono asked.
"Mr. Kaitos." Alexis spoke up, getting his attention, "We can actually help with that."
"How so?"
"On the ground level there is a small extension to the Dorm, much newer to the rest of the building and the door has a key card reader." She then pulls the key card she has and handed to him, "If Draco is asking for it, that can only mean it help Chazz out."
Krono took the key card, just as some music began to play over the speakers in the stadium, "Are they for real?" Krono asked in disbelief, "They are seriously making this duel like a game show?"
"Umm, Sir?" Mana asked, "I think you need to hurry to get that deck Draco needs."
"Yeah, you're right." Krono replied, "Rovit, come with me. I'm sure you know the room I need to find much faster than I can."
"Yes, Sire." Both the Dragon King and Dragon Guard began to leave the stadium in a hurry, to which I the Teacher section, Kaiba noticed Krono leaving in a hurry.
"Hmph! Guess that one is going to pack his things." Kaiba said. Miranda Princeton looked to the door that opened, getting a glimpse of Krono leaving.
"The other Temps should be doing the same." Miranda said, "After all they will no longer be needed."
"You seem so sure, that Slade will win." Atem spoke, getting Kaiba and Miranda to look at him.
"No one can win a duel with Monsters that weak." Miranda replied, "A single attack and it's over."
"I guess you didn't know that Kaiba lost to me in Duelist Kingdom, when I used a Kuriboh."
Kaiba slightly coughed out as Miranda looked in disbelief as her glasses became crooked, "We agreed that due to a misunderstanding, that duel didn't count." Kaiba growled.
"I never said I agreed to that." Atem replied, "I agreed if Mokuba was truly in danger, then the duel didn't count. In the end, I still gave you the five Star Chips you needed."
Miranda fixes her glasses and composer as she stares out to the stadium, "I'm going to look into his records of every duel. With enough proof, we can buy the company from him."
"Hello, Duelist around the world!" the "Announcer" yelled in his microphone, "I hope you are all ready for a duel, because I am broadcasting from the Stadium of the future site of the Princeton's Academy of Dueling!"
Overseas at the Kaitos household, Serenity looked at the television, seeing the broadcast of the stadium, "Princeton's Academy od Dueling?" she asked herself, "Isn't that the Dueling Arena from Duel Academy?"
Hearing the door closing from upstairs, Serenity looked up seeing Téa and Vahraniik coming down both of them letting a very much needed sigh of relaxation.
"Has Saffira finally calm down?" Serenity asked.
"Well, she seemed to have calm down." Téa replied,
"Her Highness has gotten stable, if that's what you mean." Vahraniik stated.
"What do you mean 'stable'?" Serenity asked.
"Oh right." The Grand Healer sighed, "I keep forgetting you're the resent Human to learn of the Royal Family. To make it simple, when a female Dragon- mostly us Anthro Dragons- after we lay an egg, the maternal instincts will makes go into a protective feral state."
"Well, that does make sense." Serenity replied.
"From what she said," Téa added, "when they go feral after laying their egg, only those they are familiar with can approach them. That's why she asked you to leave, when Saffira woke up."
"That does make sense." Serenity said, "Since, I'm new to her, she could attack me."
"Well, it's more if you got too close." Vahraniik explained, "Her Highness was growling when Téa got a little close to the egg."
"That would be understandable." Serenity added, "It is her baby after all. Any mother would want to keep it safe."
Vahraniik began to chuckle lightly, then looked at the television, seeing Chazz and Slade walking to the dueling platform, "What the hell is going on here?"
"I don't really know." Serenity replied, "That announcer said something about the first duel at the Princeton's Academy of Dueling, but I think that's the Duel Academy."
"Oh yeah, I forgot you tried to apply for Duel Academy, didn't you Serenity?" Téa asked.
"I did, but I didn't make it pass the written portion, I was ten points below passing."
"Have you dueled before?" Vahraniik asked.
"Umm, once." Serenity replied, "When we got trap in a Cyber World."
"Still, that's impressive. You only had one duel and were ten points off from continuing." Vahraniik stated, "Are you looking to duel in the future, with your brother?"
"Well, it's not just him." She replied, "There's also Mai."
"Well, Serenity, have you decided what kind of dueling style you want?" Téa asked.
"Dueling Style?"
"Of course, are you going to be similar to that Kaiba or your sister-in-law's style?" Vahraniik asked, "Which is an Aggressive type? Although, Mai is more of a Strategic-Aggressive."
"Would Joey's be more Luck-Style?" Serenity asked.
"I believe so, all of those Dice rolling, some coin tosses, and let's not forget his Time Wizard's Time Roulette." Vahraniik replied, "But I believe Yugi's deck is more Balance-Style."
"I think it is." Téa replied, 'But I'm curious, what style are Saffira, Krono, and Draco's decks?"
Vahraniik thought for a bit, "Hmm. I think Queen Saffira's deck is a Strategic-Aggressive. Lord Krono's deck is a Luck-Aggressive. And being part of the Young Lord's deck it's a mix of both of them."
"Alright both Duelists are ready to get this Duel going!" the announcer yelled, getting back to the Academy, with Slade and Chazz activating their Duel Disks.
"The reign of Princeton begins today!" Slade yelled.
"If there is going to be a Princeton reigning this Academy," Chazz spat out, "it'll be me!"
"DUEL!"
Chazz LP: 4000
Slade LP: 4000
"Don't know why he is so cocky," Slade thought, "He is using such a weak deck he can't fight me." Slade drew his first card, giving a cocky smug, "I summon Lord of Dragons!" The Monster appearing wore a black semi-loose suit with a matching cape. The suit had Dragon Bones over the shoulders, a large skull over the Monster's ribcage, evening his wrist and boots were made with Dragon Bones, and with a helmet of a Dragon Skull, standing with his arms crossed.

Chazz stared down at the Monster, before hearing something growling behind him, looking back he saw Draco baring his teeth and noticed Draco's eyes being different.
"Oh shit!" Chazz thought, "I remember seeing those eyes that one day. There has to be bad blood with this 'Royal Bloodline' and this Monster."
"I now use the Spell Card, The Flute of Summoning Dragons!" Slade continued his turn, sliding a Spell Card under his Monster, causing a yellow craved horn like instrument. The Lord of Dragons took hold of it and blew into it, "With this I can Special Summon two Dragons! And I Summon Luster Dragon and Luster Dragon #2!"
The first Dragon was a deep blue sapphire color, with red piercing eyes growling as it spread its wings. The second Dragon was much larger, being more emerald color, with blue crystals growing on its hind legs, and glared down at Chazz, letting out a snarl.

"Oh, my turn isn't over yet." Slade smirk, pulling one more card out, "I now use Card of Sanctity! I will get a brand-new hand!"
Chazz just rolled his eyes as he drew one card, while Slade drew five cards, "I will now use Polymerization! I'll fuse my Lord of Dragon with my Divine Dragon Ragnarök!" the very familiar vortex appeared along with a long serpent dragon, almost like it was made from clouds and lighting, before it and the Lord of Dragons entered the cortex, and the new Monster slowly descends the once cloud made dragon was now solid, golden scales, as the head of the Monster was the upper half of the Lord of Dragons, the cape now ripped and open like wings.
"Now, nothing you can do can harm my Dragons with their king out on the field, King Dragun!" Slade yelled.

"And I now use my King's Special Ability, to summon a Dragon from my hand!" Slade pulled one more card and slammed it on fourth field slot, "Behold Hyozanryu!"
Slade's fourth dragon appeared as a very large diamond before it shattered and what remained became the fourth dragon, having golden claws and three horns two of them on the top of its head and the third on the nose, before it roared out.

"Now my turn is over."
"About time." Chazz chuckled, "I was wondering how many Monsters you would summon. The more you had the better for me." Chazz drew his seventh card, "Because, I just drew this! The Spell Card, Even Battlefield!"
The spell that appeared on Chazz's field showed oddly, Dark Magician and Buster Blader, playing some sort of broad game, each of them have the same number of character pieces on their side of the broad, with Kuriboh wearing a Referee shirt and whistle.
"What the fuck?!" Slade thought to himself, "He wasn't supposed to have any Spell Cards!"
"Chazz, you are a fucking embarrassment to our family!" Jagger thought to himself.
"Well, he just might turn this Duel around." Atem said, getting Kaiba and Miranda to look at him.
"In case you forgotten," Miranda spoke up, "the condition is Chazz has nothing but Monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points."
"There are Monsters with that low of Attack Points, with Special Abilities that prevents them from being destroyed in Battle." Atem replied.
"That doesn't explain that Spell he used." Kaiba snapped.
"It's simple Kaiba. That Spell allows Chazz to have Monsters equal to his Opponent." Atem said with a smirk, "In other words, Chazz gets four Monsters now."
"With this Spell I'll first summon this Level 5 Monster!" Chazz said pulling a card from his hand, Slade immediately held his hand up.
"I'm afraid this duel is officially over!" he declared, "You broke the terms of the Duel, you can't have Level—"
"Actually Slade, the term was I can only have Monsters with 1000 or less Attack!" Chazz interrupted him, "And I'll prove this duel is still going, by continuing my summoning of Millennium Shield!"
A large copy of the card appeared on the field, side-ways, showing Chazz summoned the Monster in Defense Mode before the creature appeared on top of the large card hologram.

"Kaiba, is there any way to tell them the Duel continues without going down there?" Atem asked.
"Right here, Hun." Mai said, pulling a Microphone, sending a small feedback, getting Chazz and Slade's attention.
"Thanks, Mai." Atem replied, taking hold of the Mic, "The Duel continues! Kaiba has confirmed that Chazz has to use Monsters with 1000 or less Attack Points! That Monster, fills the condition!"
"Well, the King of Games has Spoken, Slade!" Chazz mocked, "Now to continue, I Summon Ojama Yellow, Black, and Green!"
Slamming the three cards down the three Ojama Brothers appeared, also in Defense Mode and taking victorious poses, much to Chazz's annoyance.

"Don't know why he played those cards." Slade thought, "We didn't give him those. And he only has two cards left."
Chazz pulled one of his remaining cards, smirking at Slade, "I now use this Spell Card, Ojama Delta Hurricane!"
The card showed all three Ojama in a battle formation, with a large cyclone of energy blasting outward between all three of them, "What the hell do you think you are doing?!" Slade demanded, "My King prevents my Dragons from being destroyed!"
"Actually, he prevents me from targeting them for destruction." Chazz chuckled, "But this Spell lets me destroy them much like Dark Hole!" Slade's eyes shrunk in his skull, realizing what was going to happened, "Go Ojamas!" Chazz ordered.
"You got it Boss!" the Ojama Brothers replied, the three of them got into a formation, Green floated in the center with two beams of energy from him arms, Yellow being on the right of Chazz, placing an arm out that caught the beam of energy, while his other shot it towards Black. After an energy field was formed between them, they began to sweat as the buildup started.
"Alright, we are ready!" Green yelled.
"Stabled and all Monsters are in sight!" Black added.
"Give the word, Boss!" Yellow called out, "Believe it or not, but this is very painful for us!"
"Let them have it!" Chazz ordered.
"Ojama Delta Hurricane!" the three Ojama yelled, as the large cyclone of energy blasted forward, slamming into all of the opposing Dragons, shattering them as Slade groans out as his field was wiped out.
"Damn it!" He growled, "Well?! End your turn!"
"Oh, I'm not done." Chazz said, revealing the last card in his hand, "I activate my Card of Sanctity!" Chazz drew six cards and Slade drew three, "Well, I just got a good Spell Card."
"What the hell are you talking about?!" Slade demanded.
"I activate, Millennium Restoration!" The Spell showed two Monsters, the Millennium Golem, that was missing and arm and leg, with people trying to get it back together and the Millennium Shield but rusted as some people used a formula to restore it. After the Spell was activated, the Shield begam to glow and expend, causing the Ojamas to yell out as glowing wall slammed in front of them. When the Light faded the Shield was more a wall covering Chazz's field.
"The Spell restored the Millennium Shield to its full protentional, the Millennium Wall!" Chazz announced.

"Well, that's the Wall's Special Ability." Chazz replied, "You can only attack it, while it's on the Field, plus when I end my turn it'll get a Millennium Counter."
"What the hell does that mean?" Jagger demanded.
"Why don't you just shut up and watch?!" Draco yelled back.
"Well, I end my turn." Chazz announced, as the Millennium Insignia on the Wall started to shine. Slade growled as he drew his card and looked through his hand.
"I activate Dragon's Mirror!" he yelled, the Spell card showed a red dragon emerging from a mirror, "I banish all five my Dragon's in my Graveyard, to Fusion the strongest Dragon in all of Duel Monsters."
"Debatable." Draco thought.
The Dragon's Mirror appeared on Slade's Field followed by the five Dragons that are in his Graveyard appeared and then were pulled into the Mirror. The Mirror began to shine brightly, cracking, before shattering and the blinding light started to take shape of a large Dragon, standing on two legs, sprouting two large wings, powerful arms, but the important formation, five long serpent like neck, all shaped differently. The light faded as the five heads: one pure fire, the second similar to a sea serpent, the third similar to the body having large spikes on the head, the fourth a sinister dark black head, and the fifth and final one, more mechanical.
"Behold! The unstoppable Five-Headed Dragon!" Slade yelled, as the multi headed Dragon's heads began to roar out.

"Tch, figures." Chazz scoffed, "That was always your ace when you get backed into a corner. I even heard the King of Games himself beat this thing with a Dragon that had 1000 Attack Points."
"Five-Headed Dragon, destroy that pathetic Wall!" Slade ordered, "Element Burst of Destruction!" (I have no idea what the official attack of Five-Headed Dragon is called.) All five heads reared back, each charging their own elemental breath, before all of them lunge forward and blasting their elemental breaths, combining them into one massive blast, hitting the Millennium Wall, the shockwave caused the students to yell out as Chazz stood his ground. The attack ended, as Slade chuckled at his victory, however he gasped out seeing the Wall still standing, but the Insignia was no longer shining.
"What the hell?!" he gasped out.
"That would be the Millennium Counter." Chazz replied, "If you want to destroy my Wall, you need to attack it twice, but I know you only have one copy of that Dragon in your entire deck."
Slade looked at his hand, before grinning and placed one card face down, "Alright, make your turn."
Chazz drew his next card and looked through his hand, before chuckling, "Well, it's time I end this duel."
"Oh, the duel will be ending." Slade spoke, "But I'm the one ending it, I activate my face-down Trap Card, Taunt!" The trap showed two strange Monsters, the larger of the two, cracking its knuckles, while the smaller one is doing the hand jester of "Bring it on." "Now I get to—"
"I know what that card does." Chazz interrupted him, "You are going to pick a Monster I have, and it has to attack your Monster."
"And you can say good-bye to your Wall and your Life Points!" Slade yelled, as the Millennium Wall switched to Attack Mode.
"Well, I planning to attack you this turn anyways." Chazz remark.
"What?!"
"I activate United We Stand!" Chazz announced, sliding the Spell under Millennium Wall, after which panels on the Wall opened up, cannons and ballistae started to appear of the Wall.

"Now you will lose 4700 Life Points!" Chazz yelled, "Millennium Wall, attack! Millennium Cover Fire!" The Wall's cannons and ballistae began to fire their cannonballs and ballista bolts, all slamming into the Dragon as it roars out in pain, due to its Special Ability, preventing it from the large EARTH Wall from destroying it. Each impact caused Slade to groan out, before a cannonball crashed in front of him, causing him to fly back and yell, before grunting as he hits the ground.
"Slade!" Jagger yelled out, as the holograms began to vanish.
"This place is staying as Duel Academy!" Chazz yelled out, causing the entire stadium to roar out in cheers, as Kaiba, Miranda and Atem made their way to the platform.
"Well, the Duel is over." Kaiba said, "The deal to sell you the Academy is now off, I'll need that contract."
"Either way, you shouldn't trust them even if they won." Draco said.
"A child like you has no say in what we adults do." Miranda snapped.
"That 'child' is correct if Kaiba went through to sell the Academy to these two!"
Everyone at the platform turned to see Krono approaching them, holding a deck of Duel Monster cards, "I manage to see the end of the duel, after I was asked to get this deck from that boy's room." Krono told them, "And I think you need to look through it Kaiba and Yugi."
Krono handed Yugi- or Atem in this case- the deck, Kaiba leaned in as Atem started to look through the deck, after getting halfway through the deck, seeing nothing but Level One through Three Normal Monster cards, "What is the meaning of this deck?" Kaiba demanded looking at Chazz.
"That was the deck, they wanted me to use for this duel." Chazz said, pointing to Slade and Jagger.
"They were trying to rig the Duel to their favor?" Atem asked.
"To be fair," Draco spoke up, "they did rig the Duel with that condition of only using weak Monsters. They just wanted to be sure Chazz couldn't fight back with them, with a deck containing no Special Ability Monsters, Spells, or Trap Cards."
Jagger and Slade looked worried before Jagger chuckled, "How do you know that Chazz just had those laying around when you found him?"
Draco then pulled his PDA out of his pocket, showing the Princeton bothers a large "Play" symbol, before pushing it. What played, was his and Chazz conversation, revealing to everyone what Slade and Jagger did. Kaiba glared at Miranda as she was shocked to all of this.
"What is the meaning of this?!" Kaiba demanded.
"I-I don't know." She muttered, "I had no idea about this."
"You except me to believe you had no idea about this?!" Kaiba demanded, "You wanted this Academy so badly, you tried to rig the Duel more so you will win!?"
"She's telling the truth." Draco spoke up, receiving Kaiba's glare, "I have a keen eye when it comes to people lying or telling the truth. She had no knowledge about this 'deal' her sons tried to force on Chazz." Kaiba and Miranda just started at Draco as he put the PDA back in his pocket, "Also, I think they only wanted that limit on Chazz's Monsters, because of what I said to them the last time they were here."
"And what was that?" Kaiba asked.
"That if any of them dueled Chazz, he would duel them to the ground." Draco replied, and just looked at the brothers with a smirk, "And I was right."
"Mr. Kaiba." Miranda finally spoke up, recovering from her shock, "We will take our leave, and will only conduct business with you, when you see fit." She then walks over to the two that were the cause for the deal, "And you two! Your Great-Grandfather would be very disappointed in you two! He built he company when it was just his garage in his house, made all good deals to expand and grow the company and you go and stab everyone in the back?!"
"Times have—"
"Times may have changed, but the way of business has not!" she yelled at Slade, "I'll be talking to your father about your punishments." She then looks at Chazz, recomposing herself, "And Chazz, I will be talking to your Father about getting you back what was taken."
"Like being back as true Princeton?" he asked.
"Yes, and getting your shares of the company back, since we locked them, so you didn't get any allowance this past month or two."
Chazz smirked and noticed that Slade and Jagger were leaving the stadium, "Jagger!" Miranda yelled getting both of them to tense up, "Hand over the contract to Mr. Kaiba."
Jagger reluctantly pulled the piece of paper out as Kaiba snatched it, then ripped it up for all to see, "Now, get the hell off of my property!"
Most of the Academy started to cheer again, mostly the Ras and Slifers. Slade and Jagger left hanging their heads, as their mother respectfully bowed to the Chancellor, Atem and Kaiba, before following the two out. Kaiba then looked at Draco, to which he noticed.
"What?" Draco asked.
"Just so you know, I plan on getting my Dragons back from your bitch of a mother." Kaiba told him.
"Well, you are shit out of luck." Draco remarked, "I have only won ten duels out of 685, and that was BEFORE she won the Blue-Eyes White Dragons from you. What makes you think you can now?"
"I will get that back." Kaiba remarked, "Nobody takes what is mine."
"Then why haven't you tried to get Obelisk the Tormentor back from Yugi?" Krono asked, "Oh wait. Could It be you can't, because you don't have the White Dragons anymore?"
Joey couldn't help but laugh loudly, almost getting Kaiba to not pay him for his time at the Academy until Mai reminded him, that Joey worked for three days. The rest of the day went back to normal, the Exhibit finished up and got removed, at the docks, the entire Academy was set to see Yugi off.
"Well, I have to say, it was a pleasure to see so many future duelists." Yugi said to the students, before looking at Chazz, "And I think you learn a very valuable lesson."
"Oh yeah." Chazz replied, "Just because a Monster has little to no Attack Points, doesn't make it weak, any card has a use in the deck."
"That's right." Yugi said wit ha smile, "I still have Kuriboh and you have seen how well that card is."
"And there is another lesson they learned." Joey spoke up, "Just because people say you are nobody, doesn't mean it's turn. I started as a nobody and had no clue how to duel."
"And now, you are one of the best Duelist of Japan." Krono said, getting Tristan to chuckle, then looked at Draco, "And you try to stay out of trouble."
"I've been trying." Draco replied, "but with that Blue Dorm and you-know-who, it's hard."
"Seeing it firsthand, you are right." Krono replied. The Boat horn blew as it began to depart from the Academy, the students all bid Yugi fair well as he returns the fair wells and wished them all the best in dueling. Later that evening, the Chancellor looked over some paperwork, before hearing a knock on his door.
"Yes?" the door opened as Prof. Banner peered into the room, "Oh Lyman. You seem troubled, what's wrong?"
"Well, Sir?' He replied, "We have a problem." Sheppard looked confused, before Banner walked into the room and the door fully opened showing a man wearing a detective hat and trench coat as he approached the Chancellor's desk.
"Good evening, Sir." The man greeted, "I am Inspecter Von Rideki Ryuga. Known to the Private Investigators as 'V'." (To everyone, yes this is a reference.)
"Wh-what can I do for you, Inspecter?" the Chancellor asked.
"I'm here to investigate the rumors of the students that vanished here at this Academy." The man explained, "And my investigation leads me to believe, they vanished searching for powerful cards that is said to be buried here."
The Chancellor and banner looked shocked at the statement, before the man cleared his throat to continue, "And I'm sure there are others who I am after, known as 'Rare Seekers' are coming here for the cards."
"I-I don't know how you know about all this." Sheppard replied, "In could be you are indeed the best Inspector there is, but how do you know the criminals you are after are coming here?"
"Due to evidence, I discovered." He replied, "Most was religious nonsense, but they all spoke of 'Holy Beasts', 'Cursed Chains', and 'Sacred Key', along with 'Keepers' of the Keys." V looked at Banner and Sheppard looking more nervous, "now, tell me everything you know about this."
