Chapter 2: First Day part: 1

Time Skip: Tuesday Morning

It was hard going to sleep last night because of your insomnia, so you just watched some shows and movies on your TV. You fell asleep at around 1 am, early for you. But you were still tired since for the past week, you stayed up till 4 in the morning reading. But you push these thoughts out of your head, as you pull your uniform on. Shoto had woken you up 10 minutes ago by banging on your door.

"Hurry up, we'll be late for class and Mr. Aizawa hates that," he announced.

"It's not my fault my old school starts an hour later than yours! And even so, I already know where the class is, so just go already so you're not late." You yelled.

Shoto, being the stubborn brother that he was, replied. "No way. I'm walking my sister to class on her first day of school, even if I have to be late."

"And thanks for that," you say as you open the door.

Shoto looks you up and down, not for how messy you are, but more of what you were wearing. You were wearing the girl's uniform, but with the boy's pants.

"What, you actually thought I would wear that stupid skirt. Hell nah, you know how much I hate skirts and dresses," you reply sarcastically.

You have always been self-conscious about showing your skin, but you also just prefer pants too. Shoto just comments that he should have known that you would never wear the skirt and starts pulling you into a run.

While your running to class, you joke that you wished you just stayed in bed and skipped class. But that just causes your twin to make sure he still has your hand. When you arrive in front of the door, your 15 minutes late.

" Ready?" Shoto asks you.

"Nope!" you say and turn around to start leaving. Shoto grabs your arm, jerking it back while opening the door. He then pushes you inside.

"Hey, I know I have to be in class, but you don't have to push me in and basically drag me here."

Shoto ignores you and turns toward Mr. Awziaia, "I apologize for coming late today."

You weren't going to let your brother take the blame so you step forward. "It's my fault he came late. My school starts an hour later than UA and Shoto wanted to walk me to class."

Mr. Awiaza excuses both of you, "just for this time", and tells Shoto to sit in his seat. He then turns to the class and continues speaking, "This is the new student I was talking about, Shinso was just a transfer student. Please state your name and quirk." He steps back to give you the floor.

But before you could say anything, someone you recognized as Mina, blurts out. "Are you Todoroki's girlfriend!".

"What, no! Ew! But maybe you would know who I am if you let me make my introduction." You say with your hand on your hip. Mina is taken aback and slowly sits back down.

Satisfied with her reaction and giving her a smirk. You change your tone and say, "Thanks, my name is y/n Todoroki and my quirk is ice manipulation. I just transferred to UA from SAC, the art school."

An invisible person wearing the girl's uniform, Hagakure you guessed, yells, "WAIT! So are you Todoroki's twin sister?! You don't look related. . ."

You just sigh and mumble, "Looks like someone mentioned me. I dyed my hair black and added dark blue highlights. But no duh I'm his twin sister, we have the same last name and are the same age!" You glare at Hagakure (as much as you can I guess, considering she's invisible) and look at her like she's dumb.

Mr. Awiaza steps forward and just tiredly says, "Ok, enough of that now. Your seat is next to your brother, so go sit."

You walk to your seat and Mr. Awiaza starts his lesson. The students all glance at you, but you ignore them and just try to pay attention.

Time Skip

"Don't wake me up until it's time for your next class. You guys can do whatever you want." Mr. Awiaza says and goes to sleep in his sleeping bag.

'That teachers weird . . . but he's down to earth, if harsh at times.' You look around the classroom to see everyone talking with their groups and you just put in your air pods and sketch in your drawing notebook.

You have no intention of making friends since you'll only be here for a few weeks until your stupid dad gives in and puts you back into SAC. You're still pissed from the whole decision so your not in your best mood right now.

You felt tapping on your shoulder and you look up to see everyone around you. Well excluding Bakugou and your brother who are in the back. You can see that Shoto is leaning on the wall, curious about what will go down. Since you were naturally blunt, but even more so and harsh when annoyed and pissed off.

"What do you want." You didn't mean for your voice to sound annoyed, but it came out like that anyway.

Iida does a weird hand movement like he's chopping the air and formally says, "Hi, my name is Tenya Iida and I'm class 1A's representative. My quirk is engine."

"I know," you say matter of factly, "I know all of your guy's names and quirks."

"What?! How?!" Everyone exclaimed, seemingly forgetting that the sports festival was on TV.

"Did you all forget that your sports festival was on TV? Anyway, that's not the reason. I have a photographic memory. So the school just decided to show me pictures of you guys with your names and memo of your quirks, including your setbacks."

Everyone looked in awe, with your brother looking proud and Bakugo trying, but failing, to look unimpressed. Everyone just starts ranting about how it's so cool and lucky that you have that.

You shrug it off saying, "Eh. It has its perks, but it also makes it so that I can't forget anything. Even if I really wanted to." You then look back down to continue drawing and reach for your ears to put in your air pods.

"Wait! Don't you want to get to know us more?!" Screamed some of the girls, including Kaminari and Mineta.

"Get to know you guys?" you scoffed. "Look, I'm not going to be your classmate, much less your friend. Next week, tops 3, I'm going to be free from this stupid place and I'll go back to SAC. And I won't have to see all of your damn faces ever again. You got that? Or are your brains too dull to understand it?" You lean back with your arms crossed and a smug look on your face.

Bakugo just explodes and starts yelling at you. Saying things like, don't group me with these extras, what did you say bitch, I don't have a dull brain, and other stuff you didn't pay attention to. Everyone was just shocked and some even looked a bit offended. You felt slightly bad, but you didn't let that show. The truth hurts and you said nothing but the truth.

After Bakugo realized that you weren't paying attention to him and just put your air pods in. He was even more furious, "DON'T IGNORE ME BITCH!"

Krishna tried to calm him down as he took him, forcefully, back to his desk. As you held back a laugh. Everyone else was recovering from the shock.

Shoto's pov

Part of you was amused at how the situation unfolded, but the other part was just shocked. Y/n was always sweet, kind, and caring. A little too much at times, so he was surprised when you snapped at the class. He didn't realize just how pissed you were. He switched his face to a disapproving look and shook his head. She would calm down in a few days, but she seemed so sure that she wouldn't be here for very long. What made her dislike being a hero? You had no clue whatsoever and just decided to talk to her later. But you had to be careful, you didn't want her snapping at you too. You then quickly realize that everyone had already recovered from their shock and have been watching your reaction.

Uraraka voiced everyone's confusion by simply stating, "What just happened?"

"It's obvious that she doesn't like us," Mienta said, clearly confused on the fact of why anyone wouldn't like him (thou it's no big surprise). Then he turned to you, "Todoroki, your sister may be hot and all, but she's a pain in the ass and acts like she's so much better than us. And not to mention the fact that she dresses unladylike and is messy today."

Mineta's comments angered you and you growled back, "Say that again, and I'm going to burn you with my fire." You gave him an icy and intimidating look and turned towards the rest of the class and tried to regain your composer. "Sorry she snapped at you guys, she usually isn't like this. She's just pissed because of the move, that's all. Once she cools down, she'll be a lot nicer and relaxed. Also, she isn't a fan of skirts and dresses, so get used to it. And she isn't a stuck up." You glared at Mienta while you said the last part.

Y/n Pov

You made sure to not put the volume too loud so you can hear what they were going to say. And, it kinda hurt. You knew your twin was right and that you had to calm down. But, you had trouble keeping your anger at bay. You mentally smacked yourself for making a bad first impression of yourself on the first day. And promised to try to not snap at them again, not so much for your sake but for your brother's. You felt bad for putting him in this situation, but it made sense to not get attached to anybody. So that when you left, it wouldn't hurt you. Although you had to admit that Shoto getting defensive and losing his cool over his sister always amused you. Though that wouldn't stop him from scolding you later.

By then, everyone had already gone back to their group of friends and you blasted your music while peacefully stretching. You tried to ignore the occasional glances they shot you, but you started to feel that you didn't belong there. And you became uncomfortable at the fact that they were talking about you, probably some not so good things. You shook that idea of your head and said to yourself that you didn't care what they thought, right?

Dont worry everyone, part 2 will be coming out soon and will have more drama. Im really sorry i didnt get to keep my promise, i usually do. To make up for it, next chap will come out soon.
