Hey everyone. I just wanted to say sorry for the short chapter, I'm currently having writers block for a upcoming scene. This scene is turning to be very difficult for me. Also, I may or may not be having finals next week, so don't be surprised if I don't upload next week. Anyway that's all, enjoy the story.
Chapter 3: First Day part: 2
Time Skip
You sighed as you propped your head up with your hand. It was math class with Ectoplasm. You realize that you already learned this over your weekend classes, even the examples were the same. Which also meant you already had the notes. You decide to just not pay attention since there was no use in taking notes on something you already had.
'The lessons are the same from over the weekend, then that must mean that SAC is ahead of UA by a day since I was supposed to learn this yesterday. But since I took the lessons over the weekend, I'm ahead by two days, including today.'
You smiled at the thought of being able to take it easy. You pull out your drawing notebook and proceed to draw a flower.
Ectoplasm was halfway through the lesson when he noticed that you weren't paying attention. In fact, he just barely realized that you haven't looked up from your book at all since class started. Shoto started to pester you to take notes, but you just whisper that you already took the lesson over the weekend. He let you be but was nervously glancing at you every so often, especially when you put your head down.
Ectoplasm calmly walked over to your seat and then proceeded to drop a thick book on your desk, waking you up.
"Aaaaaah!" You jump up from the seat and feel your heart beating 100 beats per second. Most of the class snickered at you. After you collected yourself, you glared at your teacher yelling, "What the hell is wrong with you?! You woke me up!"
He didn't flinch in the slightest, unnerved, he calmly told you, "You were sleeping in class and you haven't been paying attention at all. So I thought you would like to do this next problem for us.
And even though his face didn't, his eyes smirked, proud that they caught you and convinced that you wouldn't be able to pull it off. But he made the mistake of waking you up, so naturally, you had to prove him wrong.
You smirked and walk up to the board and quickly wrote the answer to the problem. You then dropped the chalk into his hand and said, "Turns out my school is ahead of UA by a day, and I take my Monday and Tuesday classes on weekends." Your smirk never leaving your face.
Ectoplasm had eyes wide, as did the class, and didn't say anything to you as you put your head back down. Though you were still annoyed with him since he woke you up, and now you couldn't fall back to sleep.

Ring!
"Ok, that's the lunch bell. Go eat and come back for your afternoon class. I'm going to sleep." Awiaza announced from the floor and immediately falling asleep in his sleeping bag.
Shoto picked his stuff up and walked over to you saying, "Come on, you're going to eat lunch with me and my friends."
"Wha, what?! Why?! But, I'm not even that hungry, so I was just gonna relax in my room during lunch."
He shook his head no, "You're going to eat with me whether you like it or not. I want to talk to you about something anyway."
You groan, thinking you know what he wants to talk about. You then sigh saying, "Fine, I'll go. I don't have a choice do I?"
"Nope." And he starts walking away, with you right behind.
Everyone was already gone by then, so your brother decided to bring up his question. You caught him opening his mouth and immediately interrupt him, saving yourself from the lecture you thought he was going to give you.
"Look, I know what you're already going to say. That I shouldn't be mean and harsh to my classmates and that I have to calm down and get my act together. And I know that I didn't mean to snap at them. And thanks for standing up and defending me. And yes, I promise I will try to keep my anger to myself and not lash out at your classmates. I will try to be nicer to them, but I can't promise that I still won't be distant. I meant every word I said, so I don't want to get attached to this school because I won't stay here for long." You quickly said, now taking a breather after that. You turn to Shoto and wait for his reaction.
Shoto's pov
You stopped walking, taking everything y/n said in. You weren't going to tell her that. You were just going to criticize her for what she did, but that wasn't why you wanted to talk. The last part concerned you, she really thought she wasn't going to stay here, that dad would change his mind and transfer her back. Why would he do that?
You turn to her and smile slightly, "I wasn't going to tell you that. But everything you said was true, and now you have to keep your promise. And your welcome."
Y/n just widened her eyes, and let out a soft oh. She then continued walked towards the cafeteria. "So . . . what did you want to talk about?"
"I wanted to ask you what made you so sure that you won't stay here. And why you seem to not want to be a hero." You said the last bit a little nervously but tried to hide it with your normal monotone voice. You turn to see her face.
Y/n's eyes just looked slightly shocked, and weirdly, a bit fearful.
Again, sorry for the short chapter, next one will be a whole hell of a lot better. Please review, it really motivates me. That's all for today, see ya next time!
