"Attention all trainers and coordinators, we have an announcement from one of the elite four from the Kalos region! We have him over on the line.." and then the channel flipped to a blonde hair man with glasses. "Greetings everyone my name is Clemont and it's an honor to be here, I'm here to announce a tournament is about to be held in a month, the reason for this tournament is that we been having complaints about no one is able to get past our Luminous gym, saying something about being too strong and not enough trainers for the Kalos league. So we're going to give everyone a chance of trying to claim the title of champion. Not only the top three winners will earn the right to battle the elite four and the champion but you will win 1 million pokedollars and a keystone and a mega-stone of your choice. Trainers with 8 badges or five ribbons may enter. Also gym leaders and other elite four members from other regions may enter. That's all for the announcements goodluck to all and I hope we see you here in a Month."
On a plane to the Kalos region we meet up with five familiar trainers sitting in the first class section. "It was really nice of your grandad to hook us up with first class tickets Gary." commented Misty, one of Kanto elite four.
"No problem, he actually offered the tickets to me once he heard I wanted to participate in this Kalos tournament. I may only be a member of the elite four in Kanto, but after this tournament I'll be a champion." replied Gary.
A young trainer with glasses then chuckled at Gary's remark. "Oh please, that's a good goal and all, but we all know unless you're Misty or me, there's no way you could become champion." replied Max, May's little brother.
"What about me?" asked a green hair coordinator.
"Oh, sorry Drew forgot you were there, but we never battled so I don't know how strong you are." Max said.
"Fair enough." Drew said flickering his hair.
On another plane towards Kalos from Unova, we meet up with five more trainers trying to compete in the Kalos tournament.
"I can't wait to enter this thing and show everyone I'm the best in the world." said the dirty blonde.
"Too bad I'm entering it, Trip, otherwise you would've had a chance." said a cocky pigtail girl.
"I for one can't wait to witness you two battle Iris, a spicy recipe vs a strong flavor can't wait to see this outcome." said a green hair connoisseur
"Can you guys just chill out we're not even there yet and you already talking about battling and Cilan speak english." said a blue hair coordinator.
"Dee-dee there is excited, and besides, I'm going to win." said a brunette coordinator.
"Shut it kenny, and besides, I'm going to clean your clock." yelled Dawn.
1 hour later at the Pokemon center in Lumiose city.
"And now you're registered for the tournament, have fun and good luck to you all." said nurse Joy. She then handed Trip, Dawn, Cilan, Kenny, and Iris the pokedex and tickets.
"So what do you want to do now?" Dawn asked her group of friends.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to go check out the lumiose gym. From what I've heard it's almost unbeatable, but today that's going to change." Trip said with a smirk.
"I want to come too. I would love to get a shot at the gym leader." said an excited Iris.
Dawn was looking at Iris with a smile. "She's really excited to battle kinda reminds me of.." she then paused and stared at the ground with Piplup in her arms. 'Have we really done the right thing?' she asked herself.
"Dawn are you alright?" Kenny asked. She turned to him and gave him a smile before turning to Iris and Trip. she started to walk away before Kenny grabbed her shoulder. "Dawn I know you're thinking of him, you didn't do anything wrong. You were trying to help him, he didn't appreciate what you were trying to do. But we will find him and convince him, I promise." the male coordinator said trying to cheer up the bluenette.
Dawn then turned around and gave Kenny a kiss on the cheek. "Thanks Kenny you're the best." She then proceeded to walk over to Iris and Trip leaving a love struck Kenny. "Iris would it be alright if I tag along?" Dawn asked the dragon master.
"Sure Dawn I don't mind. It'll be fun." Iris answered.
"As long as I get to battle the lumiose Gym first." Trip added.
"Such a little kid." Iris exclaimed causing Trip to glare at the purple hair trainer.
"Excuse me?" The Unova native turn around to see Nurse Joy approach them. "If you're trying to battle the lumiose gym, I should warn you you would normally need 7 badges before battling that gym, ever since Clemont gave the gym to his little sister. She rarely lost." the nurse finished.
"All the more reason to go." The dirty blonde said before proceeding to leave with Dawn and Iris behind. Cilan and Kenny decided to stay behind and wait for the Kanto gang along with two hoenn male.
