Chapter 5: The Final Battle

The Pound Puppies and everyone else, including the US and Canadian Army, made it to the city of Anchorage, where 3 military airplanes waited at a local airport. "Everyone on the planes!" General Carl said. Everyone got on the planes and took off to San Francisco, where shelter 17 was located. "Okay, so Drax is planning to attack more city's until he can completely take over the entire world, so, we need some strategies and ideas!" Carl said. Lucky got up and took over the planning table. "So, here's the plan! We wait until Drax's robots go explore the forest area for survivors, so we stay hidden until all robots go back to the blimp. Once they go back, we surprise attack them, while me, my friends, and my family, will confront Drax and try send back to his planet. Once we do all that, we win and Drax loses!" Lucky said. "Great strategy. Let's hope it works." General Carl said. "Okay! Let's go dogs go!" Lucky said. "Super-Secret Pup Club go dogs go!" The super-secret pup club said. "Let's go save the world!" Mrs. Henderson said. "Oh, and Lucas, we have a little gift for you." General Carl said. One of the military soldiers gave Lucas a white sword similar to a knight sword. "Awesome! Thanks dad!" Lucas said as he hugged Carl. Everyone looked at Lucas. "Wait? he's your dad?" Strudel asked. "Yeah, forgot to tell you guys earlier, got scared." He spoke. "That might explain why you hugged him before." Mr. Henderson said. General Carl patted Lucas on his head and both of them sat down.

4 hours later...

"We made it to a nearby city. It's a pretty long way from San Francisco. Good thing it's got an airport, so sit down until we land." The Pilot said on the intercom. Everyone sat down until they landed safely. Everyone soon got off the airplane and got prepared for a daunting military operation.

2 and a half hours later...

Everyone surrounded the north side of San Francisco while staying hidden until all the robots left to the blimp. "Not yet, not yet..." Lucky said. Finally, all the robots eventually went back to the blimp. "Go now!" Lucky commanded. The military trucks and vehicles drove thought the trees until they made it to the streets. "For America!" Lucas cried out. The Pound puppies and the Henderson's got off one the trucks and ran to the blimp to confront Drax. Meanwhile, the military destroyed the robot suits on the innocent people who became robots. Those who became robots had regained their memory but had no idea that they became robots. This was because the suits were destroyed.

Inside Drax's Blimp...

Drax was in the pilot room watching the chaos happen when he noticed the Pound Puppies and the Henderson's outside on the streets on one of his monitors. His face boiled as he thought he got rid of them. He went outside to confront to them. "What?! I Thought you all gave up!" He exclaimed shocked and frustrated. "We may have given up, but we'll never let you win!" Lucky said in a determined tone. Drax growled angrily. "Let's settle this, once and for all!" He said in an angry tone. Drax dropped down, but looked way different, His pupils were completely green and glowing, and he can summon anything with a whistle. "Oh boy! This won't end well!" Squirt said. Drax showed the Pound Puppies the time stone, which was dark grey and not glowing. " Wait!? You drained the Time Stones power!?" Lucky said. "Yes, I did!" Drax said in a menacing tone. "And now that its power is all mine, I can finally destroy all of you once and for all and finally make this world my colony!" He said menacingly. "Not if we all stop you!" Lucky said. "Game on!" He spoke. Drax's hands became green as the fisted up. He summoned his purple lightsaber and dash towards the Pound Puppies and Henderson's. The final fight had begun with everyone trying to get at least one good hit on Drax so they can a massive advantage. Lucas and His dad freed at least 120 people from their robot suits. This was mostly done by the military men who came along.

30 minutes later...

The military successful destroyed all the robot suits on all the innocent people. Mcleish, Olaf, Agatha, and all the pound puppies owners looked around for their dogs. Agent Todd, Agent Dolly, Agent Ping, Dash, Slick, and Giblet were also in the middle of streets. They were confused and bewildered on what was happening. Rebound, Cupcake, Patches and the rest of the pound puppies saw their owners and raced over to reunite with them. Everyone who was in the streets noticed the Henderson's and Lucky fighting Drax and cheered them on as encouragement. Mcleish, Olaf, and dash also cheered the Henderson's and Lucky on. Lucky bit Drax's right leg, which caused him fall down. "Let's finish this once and for all!" Lucky said. Suddenly, a massive robot came down and threw a car at the Henderson family. Luckily, it landed a few Inches behind them. The massive robot then pushed the Henderson's against the car. Drax levitated by the giant robot and commanded him to charge and fire his cannon. The Henderson's were injured badly and couldn't stand up. Cookie, Niblet, and Dash raced over to help them, but the massive robot began charging up his laser cannon. Cookie, Niblet, and Dash stopped and yelled the Henderson's and Lucky to get up. Lucky noticed the Time Stone directly in his paws. "We can still win, if the time stone-." Before he could finish his sentence, the Time Stone broke into hundreds of tiny pieces, and in those pieces were the seven Miracle Stones. "No!" lucky exclaimed calmly. Mr. and Mrs. Henderson tightly grabbed Lucky's paws. "Lucky, if you go down, we all go down, because we are family, and family sticks together no matter what." Mr. Henderson said. "He's right Lucky. Even though this is the end we still had a good legacy." Mrs. Henderson said. "I love you Mister Chewy McFluffster, no matter what." Dot said calmly. "I love you too." Lucky said. The Henderson's held their hands one final time before accepting their fate. The miracle stones suddenly glow brightly and began to circle around Lucky as they picked up speed, until the massive robots laser cannon blasted them. Everyone saw what had happened. "NOOOOO!" Cookie yelled. Everyone was shocked and began to surrender to the robots approaching them. "YES! I finally destroyed that innocent family! Now, my colony will be complete!" The giant robot stopped firing his cannon to see the damage done. The two saw a small pink shield where the Henderson's were blasted at. The shield disappeared to reveal Lucky glowing magenta with bright green eyes. Lucky yelled loudly which caused a magenta aura to appear. Drax's eyes widened, and he began to tremble. "Oh no." Drax said calmly. Lucky had gone Miracle Mode with all seven miracle stones. Lucky walked up slowly to Drax, who was still scared and trembling. "Fall back!" Drax commanded loudly. All his robots boarded the blimp and left without him. "Oh, heck no!" He said scared. Lucky began Levitating in the air. Everyone was shocked to see what was happening and news crews were reporting it live. Lucky teleported behind Drax and kicked him in his back with his hind legs, causing him to fall down, hit the ground hard, and lose his teleportation watch and his powers. "Not again!" He exclaimed. Lucky picked up the teleportation watch and a portal appeared behind Drax. "Wait! No!" He exclaimed. The portal sucked up Drax and took him back to his planet. Lucky gently came back down to the ground and his friends and family raced to hug him, but General Carl and his soldiers blocked them. "Don't go near him. He's surging with energy, and I've seen a power like this before, so let him get out of it. It's the only way." Carl said. Lucky got out of miracle mode and the miracle stones floated into General Carl's hands. Lucky sighed happily and everyone immediately hugged him. They eventually stopped hugging to let Lucky speak. "Phew! Miracle mode was great, but I love being my old normal self!" Lucky said. A news reporter and camera man came to interview them. "Lucky, you were the most powerful being in the universe, why did you give it up?" The local news reporter asked Lucky. "Because I have a family I live with, and that family understands me." He said to his family and the news reporter. The Henderson's smiled happily. "I'm getting word that the President of the United States is coming visit San Francisco tomorrow to give the medal of honor to lucky and his friends and family! It will be broadcasting worldwide!" The news reporter said. The D7 members came over to Lucky to congratulate him on his victory. Everyone came over to Lucky to ask him multiple questions, including concerns and opinions.

The next day...

The President of United States was at town hall as millions of people came to see this important moment in history. He began to speak as everyone listened closely. "Hello fellow Americans, it is with great pleasure to be here on this important day." The President said. "Just a few days ago, an alien invader attacked this city and made innocent people into mean and heartless robots, we thought it was over, but out of nowhere, these brave dogs and people came and found a rare item and saved our world before more damage could be done!" He spoke. "Now let us give these medals of honor to these brave heroes." He spoke. He gave the US medal of honor to Cookie, Niblet, Squirt, Strudel, Rebound, Cupcake, Patches, Dot, Mr. and Mrs. Henderson, Lucas, Carl, and Lucky for their heroic and brave actions on this daunting but heroic mission. Everyone who attended cheered the Henderson's and Pound Puppies on. Everyone soon celebrated with a huge party with music, food, and games.

After the ceremony...

Lucky and his family went home, but they feared that their new home was destroyed. "Let's hope for the best." Mr. Henderson said. When they got to their house, they were surprised to see the house untouched. "It's still okay somehow." Mr. Henderson said happily. The Henderson's went inside, then placed a big picture of them, the pound puppies and Lucas on the wall near the entrance of the front door. "This is a adventure we will never forget." Lucky said to his family as they looked at the picture on the wall. The adventure of a lifetime had officially ended with victorious heroes.
