Hello, to those readers who are following my ramblings. Four Years almost, that's how long it's been. Necroposting much? To those readers still lingering around after so much time, thank you for your loyalty, I'm back and I am alive. I always wanted to return to this story, but a number of things got in the way, namely living in another country, college, a global pandemic. Private life takes priority and so I had to archive this as an abandoned project of sorts. It didn't help that the last few expansions of World of Warcraft fiddled with the lore so much that I never knew what the hell was going to happen. However, I am back now, hopefully for good.

The first thing I want to communicate is what to expect with this story moving forward. My vision hasn't changed much, so don't expect too much of a change in regards to the direction things are going.

However, to those who have braved the 15,000 words so far that I have written, you have no doubt noted that there is a significant amount of dialogue and very little action. I will use this piece as a preface to say that this is not by neglect. There will be action. However, the main design of this story is to be one of drama and intrigue. Perhaps it's instinct thanks to my background in International Relations, but I've had a deep desire to write a more complex and nuanced expansion of established worlds. To that end, expect action to come in episodes, incremental climaxes as various stories and characters intersect and goals are challenged.

There is absolutely a massive number of characters and groups to tackle in this story and I can fully understand if this can become rather daunting or confusing as time goes on. To account for that, I will be publishing incremental indexes, probably every 10-20 chapters. These indexes will provide a list of names of locations, organizations and people that have thus far appeared. As time goes on, I may end up expanding to have larger indexes every so often that list ongoing conflicts, issues, or story arcs, as well as who is allied with who and who is enemies with who.

Finally, every index as well as "Communique" from me, as I will call excerpts such as this from now on, will operate as forums. If you have questions about the story, please post them as a review in one of these indexes or communiques and I will answer as soon as I am able. Note: Private Message me if you have more minor questions. If you have a question to ask in a post on a communique or index, first ask yourself this question: "Do I think other people are wondering the same thing or is this more for the sake of personal curiosity?" If it's the former, ask in a post on a communique or index. If it is the latter, PM me instead. Doing this will allow me to prevent clutter going forward.
