Okay I can hear the Sasuke fans banging their heads on their computers right now. "Sasuke would never succumb to a possession! He's too smart and strong and-"

AND...He has a very neat trick he can do with his eyes...You know...the Sharingon? Everything happens for a reason! Though I DID have trouble deciding who the main 'villain' was in the Naruto portion of this story. Originally it was going to be Orochimaru but as the gears in my head began to turn I realized it HAD to be Sasuke...Only because well...THE EYES (hint, hint)...Add to the fact that I've only seen the first couple of episodes of Boruto I just had to go with my gut (shrug). Trust me, it will play out! You've got to trust me!

This is the explanation chapter so expect heavy dialogue and less action. With that said, let's get to it!

Chapter 12: Nothings and Keys

Hikari had once believed the most terrifying moment in her life was when she watched Bulma's form fall, but...That moment couldn't be compared to the present situation.

The blond haired man known as the Hokage looked normal enough but there was something about him that just made Hikari nervous. It was similar to those times when she was in Vegeta's presence. This blonde haired guy...The Hokage as he's called...was STRONG...Possibly the strongest in this realm.

And he didn't look happy.

"I suggest you start talking." The man that stood beside him was the one that spoke up first. Even he gave off an aura of dominance, though not as strong as the Hokage's. This standing man was Shikamaru, the Hokage's advisor.

Max folded his arms, gave a sideway glance towards Shin.

"Well...How do you want to handle this all mighty powerful kai?"

"Oh will you just stop." Hikari glared at Max. Fine...Guess she would be doing the talking.

"We're not from around here." She said. "In fact...Those things that attacked everyone...They might have been my fault."

"You're not at fault here, Hikari." Max was on her instantly.

"It's obvious this...thing wants me, Max. And they are willing to do anything to get to me." Hikari told him.

"Not necessarily…" Shin countered. "The man that is possessed...He did know you, which means he was the one we have battled previously however, his attention wasn't towards you this time..."

He was right on that...The entity wasn't focused on Hikari...It was focused on the Hokage.

"What's this...Keyblade thing?" The Hokage asked.

"It's a weapon of sorts…" Hikari explained. "I'm still new to it myself but...It can...Kinda open and close any door. It's...I think...How we got here in the first place." She paused, braced herself for his reaction. "We uh...Came from...Another realm?"

A look spread across the Hokage's face. It was a look of surprise then all seriousness returned.

"Do you mean...Another dimension?" He asked.

"Yes." Shin answered quickly. "We come from another dimension." Dimension, realm...Whatever, it was the same thing.

"Well...That would explain the headbands…" Shikamaru smirked. "Also...You three are DEFINITELY NOT ninja. It's obvious."

The three travelers were a bit taken aback.

"You knew the moment we got here…" Max deduced. "That we weren't from your realm."

"Not truly...Things started to add up…" The Hokage said. "I've been to a few dimensions…Though they weren't all...Pleasant." He frowned at the three. "This evil...Did it come from your realm?"

"Possibly." Hikari anwered. "We're still...Not really sure ourselves." That was the truth. "All I know is that whoever is truly doing this...Wants me…"

"Then why did this villian ask me for the Key?" The Hokage asked.

"That is the confusing part…" Shin confessed. "He thought you, sir, had the Key...But Hikari has the key…"

"And this entity thing knows it…" Max added then he suddenly had a revelation. "Wait...Is there really only ONE keyblade? I mean...How is that possible? Both of Hikari's parents could wield Keyblades…"

"And each realm has its own door…" Shin added. "Every door requires a key…" He gasped. "I see! Each realm has its own keyblade! The entity must be trying to locate this realm's Keyblade!"

"That could have been how we got here in the first place." Max deduced. "Your realm's key was used, Shin."

Shin agreed. "It's the most logical…" He looked towards the Hokage. "It is possible you have this key, sir...It sleeps within its owner until it is brought forth."

The Hokage's stare was odd. He was thinking of something in the back of his mind. "Could it be…?" He and Shikamaru gave a sideways glance. All of this probably sounded totally ludacris to them, yet they were taking it pretty darn well to Hikari's surprise. They must have seen some pretty wild things in their time as ninja.

"Okay…" Shikamaru huffed. "What about these things...What'd he call them again? Nothings?"

A ninja came bursting in the office unannounced. He had a look of surprise and attentiveness about him.

"Lord Hokage! We've caught one! We managed to contain one of the villagers possessed by the black hole!"

"Well...Looks like we're about to uncover the second mystery…" The Hokage rose. "Oi...You three…Come with me."

They followed the Hokage and the two other ninjas into a science lab. There, strapped to a table was a ranting and raving villager, the black hole within their chest. Their eyes appeared distant, without a soul.

"Lord Hokage...We've tried everything but nothing appears to be working…" A man in a lab coat came forward. "Whatever jutsu this is...It's impossible to break…"

The Hokage turned to Hikari.

"Do you think you can help?" She blinked. "That thing...that sword...It unlocks all doors right? Can it… 'unlock' jutsus? Or whatever this thing is?"

"Yes." Shin spoke up. "The Keyblade can unlock or lock any door...physically...or mentally…"

"Seriously?" Hikari asked him.

"Well...It is worth a shot." He stated and Max shrugged.

"I'm on his side on this...For once." Max agreed. "Go ahead...Try it."

Huffing Hikari walked over to the crazed villager. Staring him down she willed the Keyblade to her hand.

The lab coat guy was in sheer awe by the sight of such a weapon. He and everyone else watched as Hikari raised the Keyblade above the crazed village...and stabbed the black hole upon his chest. There was a brief second of light before the black hole was gone...and the villager returned to normal.

"Amazing!" The lab coat guy gasped.

"Well...That answers that question…" Shikamaru frowned. "Now…" He looked at the Hokage. "How are we going to get that Keyblade thing out of you?"

"We don't even know if your leader contains a keyblade or not." Shin stated.

Max gave a pause.

"I remember…" He said as they left the lab and started down the hallway. "I...tried to pick up a Keyblade...But...It disappeared in my hand...My Uncle...Your father…" Here he addressed Hikari. "Said...That the Keyblade chooses it's master...not the master choosing it. Maybe if someone is chosen by a Keyblade...They would be able to hold another person's Keyblade…"

Hikari caught on instantly. She walked up to the Hokage, holding the hilt of her Keyblade to him she said, "Well...Try and take it."

The blond Hokage stared at the mysterious weapon for a brief moment before he reached a hand towards it. He gripped the handle and Hikari let go…

The Keyblade vanished instantly, returning to Hikari's grip.

"So…" The Hokage gave a chuckle. "For once it isn't me…" He sighed. "I kinda feel glad it isn't...Demo…" He frowned. "Who…Could it be…?"

"You're seriously believing this stuff?" Shikamaru couldn't believe his leader, yet...he kinda could...the Hokage had always been, well...weird in a sense.

The Hokage shrugged. "There hasn't been any proof to cause disbelief…" He smiled at Hikari and her group. "Call me Naruto."

"Hikari…" She said. "And this is Max and Shin."

"What do you think is going to happen when this...THING realizes you don't have what it wants?" Shikamaru asked Naruto.

"Don't know...I'm more concerned with why it wants this Keyblade thing in the first place…" He stared at Shikamaru, a thought once again crossing his mind. "Hey...is there a full moon tonight?"

"How should I know?" Shikamaru asked, then froze. "Wait...You don't think…"

"Something tells me we are in serious trouble…" Max didn't like how this was going...The two men had suddenly grown tense as did the air around them. He was almost scared to ask but he did nonetheless, "What's wrong with a full moon?"

Shikamaru explained. "Well...Several years ago there was a war...And...Something...was sealed within the moon…"

"Kaguya." Naruto added. "Oi...Hikari…" He regarded Hikari silently. "Can this Keyblade...undo seals?"

"Well…" She looked towards Shin who just shrugged.

"If a seal is like a door...Then it is possible…I suppose."

Naruto's stare turned dark and foreboding. His mood went from curiosity...to downright emergency.

"Oi...Shikamaru...Get the civilians to a safe location! I want all ninja ready for battle at a moment's notice!"

"Right. On it." Shikamaru rushed to get his task done.

"You three…" He regarded the three outsiders. "If she is released...We can handle Kaguya...Do you think you can handle this...Thing possessing Sasuke? Can you get it out of my friend?"

"I think so…" Hikari told him. She had taken it out of Raven before...Could she do it again?

"Good…" He turned around, heading down the hallway he said, "I need to talk to another friend...Get ready you three...This will not be pretty."

"Wait!" Hikari rushed after him. "Who's...Kaguya?"

Naruto stopped in his strides.

"A goddess…" He said. "The goddess of chakra…"

Shin's world knew of gods and goddesses. By the way Naruto and Shikamaru were acting, this Kaguya goddess was not one to be messed with.

"You believe this entity wishes to release her." Shin deduced and Naruto nodded.

"I'm counting on it." He said. "And if it happens...And she can't be stopped…THIS realm...is toast."
