Dionysus. God of Festivities. Percy could definitely see that.
Everyone on Olympus was mingling, there were huge tables set out and many sat on them or were near them. There was a huge dancefloor with the 9 muses playing the most amazing music he had ever heard.
Most of the Olympian gods were near the same table. Zeus and Hera sitting at the head of said table.
Percy could just about see Annabeth chatting with her mother. What would happen to them, mortals couldn't have a relationship with gods. It didn't work that way. Looking at her made his heart ache a little, he needed to talk to her at some point.
Percy was still wrapping his head around his little tête-à-tête with Gaea. What had she meant? Was it all a game of manipulation, she had lost, maybe this is the best revenge she could get. He would have to wait and see if that was the case.
"I have yet to be asked for dance, dear Perseus." Hestia said to his back. Percy quickly turned around to face the eldest child of Kronos.
"It would be an honor to dance with you my patron." He said with a teasing smirk. She softly pushed him towards the dance floor.

After his blessing from Hestia he felt more connected with her. As they danced around with the sound of the music he could literally feel his aura interlace with hers. He felt as if the final piece of a jigsaw was put in. His powers singed.
"Thank you Percy." She articulated, she pulled her head back slightly away from his shoulder/chest. She looked up at his eyes.
Hestia was breathtaking. Percy had known that would be the case but being this close to his patron in her 18 year old form. WOW.
"I had never dreamed I would get my throne back on the council." Hestia whispered to him. His aura was so strong, she felt a pull around him. She knew the other gods felt it too. She could feel their eyes on her, she couldn't tell quite how many were looking in their direction. This boy radiated power.
"You of all gods deserve a position of power within the council. I only want what is best for us all milady." Percy whispered back. He felt himself sweating, she was a virgin goddess and his patron. He didn't know what was going on with him. Her aura was extremely gratifying.
"It seems... I am not the only one that goddess that wishes for your company." Hestia murmured into his ear.
She looked over at the Olympian table. She felt Annabeth and Artemis glaring holes into her skull. She smiled softly, this boy certainly stirred something within however she was still a maiden goddess.
They found their way to the table. Hestia slowly detached herself from him.
"it was a pleasure Lady Hestia." Percy muttered. "I hope we can do this again soon." He smiled softly at the heavenly hearth goddess.
"I do as well young hero." Hestia said to his chest while hugging him.

Percy had gotten himself his second small glass of nectar. He wasn't in the mood to burn up his mortal essence and die.
He looked over on the other side of the streets of Olympus, only about a few hundred feet away from the party was a little bench. He wanted to sit there and look out from the top of Olympus at his home. Manhattan.
"I saw you were dancing with Hestia. I decided to wait my turn." Artemis of all people said from behind him. When he turned around he noticed something which surprised him greatly. She was drunk. There was a slight slur in her lines and her eyes drooped very slightly. She was good at hiding it.
"I would be honored to dance with you Lady Artemis." He rumbled. "Shall we." He put out his hand.
-()-
After dancing and chatting with Artemis from one side of the dance floor to the other. He had gotten a few dirty looks from Apollo and Zeus but making Artemis laugh took the edge off. He wished he would have seen this side of Artemis before.
"You know Perseus, Thalia speaks so highly of you, I am very glad to see you live up her notions of you." Artemis said lightly. "You truly are in a league of your own. As a male of course." She said lightly. He chuckled.
"I'm happy to impress the mighty goddess of the hunt." He said lightly. He enjoyed her company.
"That girl boasts about you as if you were her very own brother. I always thought it was misguided or something of the like. But no, you truly are a force to be reckoned with. I finally understand why Zeus is so threatened by you, I understand even more why he has no need to feel that way. You have a good heart." She looked at him intensely, as if expecting something.
"Thalia is my sister. Technically we are cousins but after what we've been through? Nico as well, we have a bond like no other. Don't get me wrong, I have and will again dump a whole creek of water of Thalia's head but when it matters... I'd trust her with anything." Percy held a look of determination in his eyes, Artemis had seen that look in Thalia's eyes many times before.
"I admire that. I wish I could have that with my siblings." She smiled sadly.
Percy saw Annabeth walking towards them. Artemis must've sensed her because a look of irritation appeared on her face. She turned around.
"Athena's daughter. How are you?" Artemis said with a smile that was a little too wide. She and Percy had a few more drinks together but he didn't think she was in anything except a good mood.
"I feel... godly." Annabeth chuckled. "May I have Percy for a few moments? I just really need to talk to him. I'll have him back to you in no time."
Artemis turned back to Percy and scowled. "Why, of course. You two must have a lot to talk about, after what you did in the throne room." She tapped Percy on the chest and started to walk away. "Not-so wise Athena spawn." She mumbled to herself. Percy barely heard it.

Piper watched Annabeth approach Percy and the maiden goddess. Annabeth had talked to her after the battle. Jason was an ass they had concluded, Piper then learned in the throne room that Annabeth was also an ass. She had just left Percy. She would be a goddess and her relationhip with Percy was over.
It slowly donned on Piper that only her and Percy were left as mortals from all her half-blood friends. They had never been the closest but she wished they were. From what she could tell from everyone, Percy was the best friend any person could have.
She used to think Jason was more handsome than Percy. She couldn't be more wrong. It seemed as if the goddesses and gods around her agreed. Percy was getting more attention than Apollo, hell he was getting more stares than Aphrodite at some points.
His perfect messy raven hair. His glowing sea-green eyes. He had a dusting of black facial hair growing on his jaw. The word that popped into her head when she saw him was Godly. His shoulders were very broad and she knew under that orange shirt... She didn't need to think about that right now. Gods she wanted his friendship and here she was undressing him with her eyes.
-()-
Jason tapped Annabeth's shoulder. Percy sighed
"Look Annabeth, I'm going over there-" He pointed to the bench he had seen earlier. He still really wanted to see the view. "Meet me over there when you're done." He turned around quickly and walked towards the bench.
"What do you want Jason!" Annabeth snapped at him. He was a god, she was a goddess. Percy and Piper weren't. All that stood in their way was finally gone. However they didn't need to broadcast to everyone that they were together yet. Especially since she knew Piper could be looking at them. She didn't wanna lose any of her friends. Truthfully, she didn't wanna suffer the consequences of her actions.
Percy neared the bench, he saw the view for the first time.
Wow. 600 floors was much higher up than he imagined.
Percy thought about his time with Artemis and Hestia. He had more fun with them than he thought he would at the whole party. He never knew that side of Artemis.
He sat down on the bench and he exhaled through his nose. He hadn't noticed how tired his legs were. Suddenly he felt nervous. He had to talk to Annabeth, not later but very, very soon.
Suddenly the beautiful view of Central Park started swirling, it was only slight but it was as if it were a screen that were about to turn off or change into a new image.
The world turned black. He blinked slowly.
When he opened his eyes. A little ways from where he sat was a woman. Pale skin and in a full black dress. Her black hair shone brightly. It looked beautiful as it cascaded down the sides of her face and around her neck. Her eyes swirled with power. Gaea had warned him about others contacting him, he just hadn't expected it to be through the weird pocket dimension thing that Gaea has used herself.
"Hello Percy." She spoke with a tantalizing tone. "I hope you remember me. I'm Nyx." She smiled.
He laughed awkwardly, "I hope bygones are bygones right." He smiled crookedly at her.
"No need to worry Percy." she appeased him."What happened in Tarturus is no big deal."
He let out a sigh and laughed. "So, to what do I owe pleasure of this meeting. Lady Nyx" He bowed deeply.
"Look Percy. My husband... he was angered at Gaea for what she did, and was much angrier when she failed. They've always had a small feud but it seems it's grown since I last interacted with him." She said quickly.
"He seems to be admant however, that the Olympians are not fit to rule. I agree but he is not a better option for the world, my father is also not pleased, he seems to believe you are the "Key to the future" and does not like the idea of Erebus ruling." It was funny seeing an all-powerful deity doing quotations marks with her fingers.
"I don't understand, how am I anything like that? We just finished another war and you're telling me I'm gonna have to fight another Gaea level threat?" He said loudly to the sky.
"Oh no, Percy. Erebus isn't in some sort of dormant state like my sister. He is fully awoken and in the House of Night plotting. He knows all that's happened and is wary of you. Why do you think my brother Tartarus used a physical form for the first time in centuries just to stop you from going throught the Door of Death. Tartarus and Gaea are on much better terms hence he helped her." She continued somewhat rushed.
"We barely took down Gaea and now I gotta defeat the primordial of night, who is fully awoken unlike Gaea. How am I meant to do that." He said exasperated.
"Percy you have so much power. Blessed by two of the most powerful gods, a son of Poseidon, the strongest son of Poseidon. My father is certain you will be ready. When he is certain it is difficult to disagree." She seemed to not be as certain but going along with what was said.
"Do I get to meet your father at some point?" He questioned.
"Oh you will definitely meet him very soon. I would say be prepared but a demigod wouldn't be able to prepare." She said softly. "I like you."
"Ermmm, thanks?"He felt awkward now.
"Percy I must go soon but I think I should leave you with a parting gift." She walked towards him until they were face to face. She laid a hand on his shoulder.
He looked into her eyes and was taken aback. It was like an endless black void. She was beautiful. So close up it was a bit daunting, he could feel her power and essence and it was incredible, his blessing of Hades sang.
She took his chin soft in her hand and kissed him.
Percy was stunned. He kissed back hesitantly. She pulled away. Far far too quickly for Percy's liking.
"A blessing. From me." She smiled softly at him.
Suddenly he was back on Olympus. Annabeth sat some ways from where he was, on the same bench still.
He felt dizzy, he needed to process but he didn't wanna speak with Annabeth anymore.
As she sniffled it brought him back to reality.
"I never wanted this. I don't know what to say." She hiccuped.
"Annabeth, I get it. Honestly, I do. But I think I need sometime. Maybe we were destined to be friends." He smiled somewhat bitterly, not that he would admit to that. He really didn't wanna deal with this right now.
"We're done." He said suddenly. "and to be honest, I need sometime before we can be anything again because it's too much for me." He stood up, feeling better as he could go sit down and just talk to anyone else.
She cried harder but still held strong.
He walked away.
A/N: Sorry for the delay on Chp 2.
A short chapter but hopefully the chapter 3 will be sooner. Thank you so much for the 4 reviews, 16 favs and 29 followers. I really do appreciate the reviews. Also I wanna apologize, I read over the chapters but I do miss a few errors and I am sorry. I'll try to fix those and not have too many.
This is my first fic ever and I really wanna make something readable and hopefully enjoyable but we'll see. Thank you all very much.
Percy and Piper will be the pairing. It won't take SUPER long but it'll take a minute. There will also be a time skip in a few chapters. I just really like the pairing.
OP Percy and Dark Percy will also be a theme in this. Of course any suggestions are very welcome. Criticism is as well. Thanks!
