The party on Olympus was wrapping up. Percy had been walking back to the party feeling like throwing up.
He didn't like the pain in his chest. He hated the fact he still wanted to be with Annabeth, it hurt. He was mad at everything, it wasn't fair. But it was her dream... Her life long dream. Her ultimate fantasy was working with her mother and to become a goddess, of architecture as well. He wished he could just be over her with the snap of his fingers. It wouldn't be that easy. The next few months(hopefully not more than that) would be very difficult for him. He still loved her.
He saw Artemis looking at him inquisitively. He smiled at her, she blinked at him and waved. She turned back to Thalia and Phoebe, the later glaring at him. Thalia was looking at him worriedly and waved as well. He gave her a thumbs up and continued walking towards a lone Piper he saw sitting some ways from her mother and sibling on the adjacent table.
She would the only of the seven who wouldn't become a god. Well, not yet at least. He was happy for all of them. Truly.

Piper knew she didn't have much in commom with her siblings and assumed the same would be said for her mother. She couldn't be more right. She couldn't stand the "Aphrodite table" as she dubbed it. Her mother had tried talking to her about Jason, giving "advice" but Piper knew her mother didn't care and was simpling meddling as the rumour she had heard said. They were true as well.
She saw Percy walking towards her and instantly perked up. She was worried for him and wanted to know how he was feeling. What he needed right now was a friend. A good friend, granted she was also recently broken up with and definitely needed a friend as well, if it was Percy then all the better.
She felt her palms becoming sweaty as he pulled a chair across from her and sat down smiling at her. What was wrong with her?
"Hey, Percy." She said brightly, smiling at him. His eyes floated all over her face for a second. His eyebrows twitched.
"What's up Piper. Are you having any fun?" He said almost sarcastically.
"I'm clearly enjoying some time with my mother and siblings gossiping about Olympus." She said smirking. He laughed, she liked his laugh.
"You've had some strange companions though Percy." She said smiling somewhat tightly. Not that he seemed to notice. "I'm surprised you and Artemis hung out so much, although I'd be careful if I were you, wouldn't wanna get smited after saving the world again." She grinned at him. Being near him improved her mood greatly.
"Oh y'know. I'm one a kind." He said jokingly. "Good music, good food and drink and yet I just wanna be laying down in my bunk right now." He quipped.
His crooked grin widened. "I'm bored. We should do something fun, join me?" He stood up and extended his hand at her. She was intrigued. She grasped his hand and stood up in front of him, very close. He wet his lips and blinked a few times. Was his face slightly red? Maybe it was her imagination.
His mind blanked. He felt himself blushing and tried to stop himself. She was his friend.
"Let's make the Stoll brothers proud, c'mon." He pulled her towards the edge of the dancefloor towards the drinks table. "Let's grab a drink, then let's go over there-" He pointed at Leo who was chatting wildly waving his hands around with Calypso who looked enraptured in what he was saying. "I got an idea." He smirked devilishly.
Percy and Piper got some more drinks and went a little away from where Leo sat. He tapped her shoulder and leaned down a little. He pointed his finger at Leo's drink and slowly tilted it as the drink slowly tipped towards Leo's lap. The icy drink promptly fell onto Leo's lap, who let out the most girlish scream she had ever heard from her friend.
They both started laughing so hard that Percy almost spilled his own drink on his lap. He didn't quite though.

They had put salt in Frank's drink and laughed their asses off at his face as he drank the weirdly tasting drink. Hazel noticed them and got them to sit with them. The four were just talking when Aphrodite sat down right beside Piper.
"I thought you'd left sweetie." She said in a sweet voice. "When I say your boyfriend, sorry ex-boyfriend-" she tittered to herself, "with that Annabeth girl, I thought I'd find you to let you know." She smiled at both her and Percy. "I guess this concerns you as well Perseus." She grinned somewhat smugly it seemed.
Percy's hard curled around his drink tightly. He let out a long sigh. "Can we get back to our conversation Lady Aphrodite? Or are you going to bother us any longer?" He said viciously.
Aphrodite seemed taken aback. A look of anger came across her face, just before she was going to say something, or more likely shout at the demigod, Poseidon put his hand on her shoulder.
"Aphrodite, Zeus has asked for you at the head table." He said with a curled lip. He winked at Percy who was expressionless but nodded slightly at his father gratefully.
Aphrodite got up and stomped her foot slightly, maybe subconciously but left regardless.
They saw her approach Zeus who looked confusedly at her and waved her away. She glanced back at their table with discontent and went to sit with Ares.
"Thanks dad." Percy said. "She came here to get under our skins and I let her." His other hand was under the table but Piper would bet that his nails were digging into his palms, very tightly.
"It's alright Perseus. I came here to tell you what that silly love goddess said." He looked down. "I'm sorry Percy. Piper as well, both you deserved much better."
Hazel had a hand over her mouth, she was beyond shocked. Two of the seven had betrayed all of them really. Hazel wanted to hit them.
Poseidon had left while Piper stared at the table. The empty plate in front of her had all her attention. Percy grabbed her hand.
"Piper are you alright?" He said nervously. "That's a stupid question actually..."
She held his hand firmly. "Yeah, fine." She seethed. "That bitch comforts me after he broke up with me, being a two-faced snake the whole time." She stood up abruptly.
Percy stood with her. He put his hand firmly on her shoulder, it reassured her.
"Do you want to leave?" He asked her so softly she doubted the others could her him. His breath tickled her ear.
Leo walked up to the table with Calypso beside him. "Hey guys." He said brightly.
"Uhhh, Leo come here for a sec." Frank said as he stepped away grabbing Leo by the scruff of his orange t-shirt. Whispering something to him. Calypso confused followed as they stepped aside.
"I wanna knock their teeth in." Piper replied just as softly.
"I understand. But they're gods, and most definitely not worth the effort." Percy moved his mouth closer to her ear. He started moving slowly pulling her along. She followed him blindly.
They started walking towards the elevator. Piper was fuming, but she knew Percy was right. Those two blondes were not worth the effort at all.

Percy and Piper had landed in Camp Half Blood a few minutes before. His pegasus Blackjack had left with his friend after neighing a lot at Percy, who seemed to give into an apparent demand for doughnuts? Piper was confused and didn't give it more thought.
He walked with her to her cabin door. Camp was completely empty. She had assumed only the 7, Reyna and Nico were invited to Olympus but the other demigods and Roman legacies were simply already at the party area waiting for it to start. She was glad it was only her and Percy there.
They stopped at the door of the Aphrodite cabin.
"Can I just come to your cabin? I... don't know when my siblings will be back, I really don't wanna deal with all of that." She said nervously and twidling her thumbs.
"Of course you can Pipes." He said while putting his arm around her shoulder leading them to cabin 3. She nudged closer to him.
They reached the cabin and went in. It was Piper's first time in here, she had been in Zeus' cabin before which made her scowl. Jason was a scumbag and honestly Annabeth was even worse.
Percy was trying his very best to stay strong for Piper. She needed him right now, he could deal with it inside for a while.
Piper went to the bunk nearest to Percy's. He was almost disappointed. But sighed.
"Do you need a shower or anything before bed?" he asked looking at the minotaur horn from when he was merely 12.
"Nah, I just need to put my head on a pillow right now." She said sleepily. She hugged him tightly before turning and slipping into the covers.
Percy relished the hug. He then went to the bathroom once making sure she was tucked in. He needed a hot shower.

Walking out of the shower with only a towel. He saw Piper comfortably sleeping under the blanket.
God she really was beautiful.
He heard a knock at the door. He drew his eyebrows together slowly and walked over to it. Piper was definitely not allowed to be sleeping in his cabin, on another bunk or not.
He opened the door slightly looking out at Jason. His blood boiled instantly. His hand on the knob squeezed it tightly.
"Hey Jason. What do you want?" He asked vexxed.
Jason's eyes widened at his tone. "Hazel told me that you and Piper left back here a while back. She wasn't in her cabin, do you know where she is? I need to talk to her." He said quietly.
"Here I thought you were too busy with your tongue in Annabeth's mouth." He said sarcastically.
"I... uhhh... How do you know about that man." He said while rubbing one of his arms with the other. Seeing Percy this angry, he was feeling very nervous.
"How about you fuck off Jason. I can assure you she doesn't wanna waste her breath talking to you." He said aggressively.
"She's my girlfriend and you're not gonna tell me whether I can talk to her or not. I am a god!" Jason said while his eyes glowed slightly.
"She is most definitely not your girlfriend. You'd wanna watch that arrogance, god or not I won't let you mess with my friend in anyway." Percy had stepped out and towards Jason who stepped back. "Now you're gonna back off and if I see you bothering her I swear on the river styx you will regret it deeply." His aura in waves around Jason. The ground around them shook slightly. "Now back the fuck off before I make you." He said evenly.
Jason's fist clenched at his side. "This isn't over Percy." He trudged away towards the Zeus cabin.
Percy subconciously made the ground shake as Jason walked away. Who was trying his hardest not to stumble too hard.
Percy went back inside to see a tired looking Piper sitting up in her bed looking at him. Her hair was a mess and he couldn't help but stare at her infinitely enchanting appeal.
"Thanks for that Percy." She said tiredly. She stood up and hugged him.
Shortly after that they went to sleep.

A/N: More than a week for that update. I'm really sorry. I've got things in mind for Chpt4 and that will come much sooner. I promise.
I'm really thankful of anyone taking the time to read this story.
I've been questioning myself on when Piper and Percy are gonna get together. Time skip coming in the next few chapters.
I'd love any suggestions for the story. I dont wanna rush the story and really want there to be build up to the story. I'll try not to make it too long.
