Chapter 1: Momma's New Man

Jalin had come home from work. She didn't even notice that another car was in the driveway. She unlocked the door as she walked in. She gasped when she saw Aiden & their mom on the couch smooching each other. Jalin slammed the door so loud that it alarmed them to stop.

"Jalin Shanti Dean! Have you lost your mind?!" Brooke said to Jalin as Aiden got off of her.

"What the hell is this?! I tried to call you to come pick me up, but I see why you 'ignored' my phone calls. You're screwing around with your new boyfriend whom I know from Camp Buddy!" Jalin said as she gritted her teeth.

"Ohhhh pfft. He just happened to stop by to see me.~" Brooke said as she licked her lips.

"Yeah. Nothing too serious, Jaxon. Did you want to see your friends at the camp?" Aiden asked them as he smiled.

"No. And I'm pretty sure they're at home by now. So I'm going to head upstairs in my room and talk to them. Oh and I'm bringing the bleach into my room to cleanse my eyes." Jalin said as she stomped to their room.

Both Aiden & Brooke looked at each other then they shrugged. Aiden just sat next to Brooke.

"Erm, was she always like this? Like did something happen?" Aiden asked Brooke.

"Their father and I divorced. I think she's taking it hard as she wanted to live with him, but I lost all contact with him and I don't know where he lives." Brooke explained to Aiden.

Aiden nodded as he understood. "Say no more. I'm sure she'll come around and will build a great relationship with you." Aiden said as he kissed Brooke's cheek.

"I hope so. I've been trying my best to be there for them. Maybe I'll keep trying but right now I wanna spend my time with you.~" Brooke said as she passionately kissed Aiden.

Aiden blushed & kissed her back. Jalin called up 'The Rainbow Buddies' as they were all on the video call. Even their boyfriend, Kieran.

"Jalin, what's going on? You look so upset. I wish I could give you a hug right now." Simon told them as he smiled a bit.

"What's bugging you, Jaxon?" Keitaro also asked.

Jalin took some deep breaths as she tried not to cry. She then noticed the photo of their 2 girl friends on their mirror stand. Jalin shook their head & looked at their friends.

"Y'all don't know this but…when I just came home, I saw my mother making out with Aiden. And I'm so- I can't even explain how I'm feeling right now." Jalin explained as they fanned their eyes.

Everyone grew quiet. Hiro twitched as he shook his head. "Hold on. Can you repeat that again, Jaxon? Your mom is making out with who?" Hiro asked their close fiend.

"Aiden. Your 'Bro' Aiden, Hiro. The guy with the dark green hair. Has the tattoo on his arm. Yeah him!" Jalin said as she drank some water.

"Broooooooooo! What?! Are you for real?! Your mom is dating Bro Aiden?! Dude what if that means-" Hiro got 'shushed' by Jalin.

"Hush! I don't wanna think about that. I can't imagine calling someone from camp my 'daddy' because that's too awkward." Jalin said as she sighed.

"Dude, we're so sorry to hear that. Sorry to ask, but does your dad know?" Taiga asked Jalin.

"Actually, I was going to call him and tell him. Will you guys just give me a minute?" Jalin said to their friends as they all smiled & agreed. Jalin smiled back as they hung up & called their dad.

Jalin was having anxiety as it's been a while she called their dad. She looked around their room then they heard a 'Hello'? Answer.

Jalin gasped as she gulped. "H-Hey dad! I…..it's me. J-Jalin." Jalin told him as she began to sweat.

"Jalin! Ohh my goodness. How long has it been? I missed your phone calls. How is everything?" Braxton asked Jalin.

Jalin began to tear up. She took some deep breaths as she calmed down. "Daddy…..I saw mom with another man." Jalin sniffled.

"I'm not surprised, honey. Your mom is boy crazy. She literally thinks she needs a man in her life every five minutes." Braxton told his daughter.

"Daddy, this man is from the camp I went to. He's our scoutmaster. Well he mostly cooks and cleans at the camp but still." Jalin their dad as she wiped their tears away.

"Ohhh my. That is very awkward. But how are you two doing? How's Jordan?" Braxton asked Jalin.

"Jordan is doing good. Still in college. And I have a job." Jalin told their dad as they smiled a bit.

"Ah yes! I remember. Sorry honey. I'm barely on social media so it's best if you just give me updates through phone calls." Braxton told them as he chuckled.

"Of course. Well that's all I wanted to- oh! By the way, I have a boyfriend. We met at the camp last year over Summer." Jalin said as she blushed.

"Ahhh.~ Well you make sure he treats you right.~ If not, have Jordan on his ass.~" Braxton joked with Jalin.

"Hahaha, sure dad. But that won't happen because he and Jordan are best friends. So.~" Jalin said as she giggled. She blushed looking at the picture of Kieran on their mirror stand.

"Well pumpkin, I have to go now. I'll call you soon, alright?" Braxton said to Jalin.

"Ah, alright daddy. I'll call you when something pops up." Jalin said to their dad as they sighed.

"Alright pumpkin. Bye bye." Braxton hung up.

Jalin sighed as she went back to the video call. Kieran had messaged them. She blushed as she opened it.

"Hey love. I heard that your mom is dating Aiden? That's really something…but I'm here if you wanna talk. If you want to." Kieran said as he used many hearts & smiley emojis.

"Thanks babe. It's weird, but I won't let it bother me. Besides, I was wondering if you wanna see a movie tonight~?" Jalin asked him as she stood up, going to their door.

Jalin put their ear on the door as someone was getting up & leaving their home.

"Can't. Gotta work on some stuff for school. I'm so sorry, love." Kieran told them using sad & heart broken emojis.

"It's okay! I forgot it's the weekday. Maybe we can go on the weekend.~" Jalin sent the text as they headed to their bed.

Jordan knocked on the door as Jalin answered it. "Hey bro. Is mom's boyfriend gone?" Jalin asked their older brother.

"Yeah. I just barely got in. Is everything alright?" Jordan asked his younger sister.

"I just called dad. I vented to him about this but I feel like it's none of his business because it's mom's life to date whoever she wants." Jalin told Jordan as she sighed.

"Oh? And how's dad doing? I should give him a call." Jordan asked Jalin as he sat on the computer chair.

"He's doing alright. Also bro, this guy is from 'Camp Buddy' I met him last year. He's our scoutmaster." Jalin explained to Jordan.

Jordan blinked his eyes, "Eww what the hell?! No stikin' way! I'm not calling a scoutmaster that you know from camp my 'daddy' Gah! Mom is nuts I swear sis. Maybe we can make up a plan to break them up?" Jordan suggested.

"No way. Then mom will force me to not see Kieran any more. So let's let her have this moment with him. Let's see how this will last. Because mom's relationships usually last for like a month." Jalin said she sighed.

"That's because she's very judgmental and strict about every little thing. No one likes that. Heh." Jordan said to his sister as he smiled.

"Well that's on her. Not on us. Anyways, Kieran is video calling me. Can you please get out?" Jalin asked their brother as she stuck their tongue out to him.

Jordan winked at them as he walked out of their room. He headed to his room to call his dad. Jalin smiled & turned on the light as they answered Kieran's phone call.

"Hey love. I was just talking to my brother. What's up?" Jalin asked him as she blushed.

"No biggie. I was just wondering if you're doing alright? You didn't return back to the group chat." Kieran asked them as he smiled.

"Yes. I'm alright. Just not used to seeing Aiden around my mom. But I'll be okay, love." Jalin told Kieran as she smiled at him.

"Ah that's good then. So movie this weekend then? Maybe we can see that new one that's been released. I mean I saw it on some streaming platforms but it's like so expensive to buy." Kieran said to Jalin as he sighed.

"Really? Yeah they really need the money to make a new one or something. Hell, even the merch. Whichever they need." Jalin told him as she smiled at him.

"Yeah true. Well, we'll figure something out, alright babe?" Kieran told them as he smiled.

"Yes we will. I'll text you. I still need my mind off things." Jalin told him as she sighed.

"Understandable babe. Let's text till our fingers fall off.~" Kieran said to them as he blew a kiss to them.

Jalin giggled as she hung up & went to message Kieran. "Hey you.~ So it seems like Aiden left my home. But my mom isn't speaking to me. She usually text me 'dinner's ready' but she hasn' yet." Jalin sent the text as she sighed.

"Why not go see her? Maybe she's looking for some leftovers or maybe went out to get some food? You know, babe?" Kieran asked them using blushing & winky emojis.

"Checking right now. Thanks babe. Also what's the movie you wanna see~?" Jalin sent the text as they went downstairs to check on their mom.

Apparently their mom went to get Jalin & Jordan food. Jalin texted Kieran back. "Yeah babe you're right, she went out to get some- huh?" Jalin turned around as she heard the doorknob turning.

Brooke walked in as she looked at Jalin. "Oh, hey. Mind helping me bring in the drinks?" Brooke asked them.

Jalin did so, as she rolled their eyes & grabbed the drinks from their mom's car & bought them inside. She set them on the table.

"Thanks for the food mom. I'll get Jordan so he can get his right away." Jalin told their mom as they walked upstairs.

Jalin then checked their phone as both Kieran & Hiro texted them. Jalin knocked on Jordan's door to let him know that dinner's here.

"So apparently, bro Aiden said this is okay for me to tell you this, but he likes both men & women. But I'm honestly happy for him. I'm sure everything will work out between you & your mom, Jaxon. :)" Hiro texted Jalin.

Jalin smiled at the text as she hearted the message. Then she checked on Kieran's message.

"Is everything okay, babe? You got quiet. :/ " Kieran said using the confused emoji face.

"Yeah babe. I'm sorry. Mom bought home food. I'll text you in a few minutes." Jalin said as she smiled at Jordan.

Jordan smiled back as they both headed downstairs to get their dinner.

"Hey mom, where's Aiden? I wanna show him my photos.~" Jordan said as he grinned.

"He'll come by tomorrow. I think we might have some exciting news.~" Brooke told him as she kissed his cheek.

Jalin rolled their eyes as they headed upstairs to eat their dinner. & texted Kieran. Brooke stayed downstairs, texting Aiden mostly. After they all had dinner. They all headed to bed. Jalin continued to text Kieran till it was 1 AM. She told him 'Goodnight' as she plugged in their phone to charge & headed to bed.

Okay so yeah another random Camp Buddy fanfic. But this time I'll be picking on Jalin for a while. ;)
