Bo
Bo was running as fast as she could. Lauren had disappeared into the night. But she can't really blame the Doctor for being upset. Dyson's wolf is not heeding Bo or Keldon's warnings. She hopes the wolf they heard is not Dyson's. She's getting tired and bored from dealing with this bullshit.
Lauren
Lauren had stopped running when the howling stopped. She stood in place and looked around.
"I know you're here. Show yourself". Lauren said quietly. She heard a laugh behind her and didn't flinch.
"You're the mate of the Succubus. Too bad she's not yours. She's his. She's always been his". A voice laughed.
"Come out and face me, coward". Lauren laughed.
"Lauren? Who are you talking to? Bo asked.
"Now. Now Succubus I was just reminding her of who you belong to". He laughed as he appeared.
"You are one stupid bastard. Did you forget who I am? What I can do? Bo's Succubus surfaced and she was not happy at all.
"I got this Bo. He's been coming for me. Today at my clinic. Tonight, when we were alone". Lauren stepped in front of the Succubus. She heard her growl behind her.
"Foolish human. So smart in the human world but too dumb to know you are nothing in the Fae world." The wolf laughed.
"You're quite dumb. I have your number and you don't even know how to dial b for bullshit". Lauren laughed.
"Lauren, what are you doing? Bo asked behind her.
"We won't have to deal with him after tonight. He screwed up coming after me of all people". Lauren smiled.
"I will follow your lead". Bo said quietly. She gently touched Lauren's back in support and not with a pulse.
The Doctor stepped towards the beast, but Bo was not too far behind her.
"Don't Bo. I can handle this". Lauren said.
"She can handle this Bo". The wolf mocked.
"Hurt her wolf and there won't be enough left of you to call you a corpse". Bo snapped.
The wolf stepped forward. He snipped away at Lauren but never touched her yet.
"I have a better idea". Bo spoke softly.
"Bo? Lauren called out.
"It's okay Lauren." Bo stepped to the animal. She sent a pulse through his head. "Take us to your pack".
Lauren watched as the beast turned around and slowly walked. Bo grabbed Lauren's hand and they followed him.
The three arrived in the dark woods. The wolf growled and his pack appeared after a few minutes. They all shifted to human form and stared at their guests.
"I don't know what the hell Dyson told any of you, but Lauren is never to be touched. If I so much as smell your breath around her, it will be the last time you take a breath. I don't want to have to come back here because frankly you all stink, so make this my first and last warning." Bo rambled off. Her eyes flashed blue. Her body looked like it was on fire.
"Bo." Lauren softly touched her shoulder. She felt the Succubus growl the minute she touched her skin.
"No Lauren. I don't belong to him. I never did. I belong to you." The Succubus seethed as she stood next to the Doctor. The pack looked on in absolute fear. They wanted to ambush Lauren, thinking Bo would be too busy with her mother.
"They were never going to get me, and I know that. Let's go home. They won't come for us again". Lauren wrapped an arm around Bo's waist.
The Succubus turned and looked at the Doctor. Her eyes flashed a deep blue once more before they returned to brown.
"Get out of here girls. These bastards have lived their last night". Keldon appeared out of nowhere.
"She belongs to Dyson even though he doesn't remember her! A wolf bit back.
Keldon took one breath and the next thing Bo and Lauren knew, they were surrounded by bones.
"How do you do that? Bo asked in amazement.
"I told you. Your Succubus was born for Lauren. When I found your love, I found you. It will always draw me to her when she's in danger. It is imperative that no harm comes to Dr. Lewis". Keldon explained.
"I need to get Lauren home." Bo said pulling the Doctor out of that mess.
"As you should". Keldon bowed at them.
Once they got close to being home, Bo carried Lauren the rest of the way. She smiled when the door was opened for them.
"I was worried. Keldon took off and I thought he was coming here". Aife said quietly.
"He came to help us. He's in the back of the woods. He might be gone by now." Bo said softly as she set Lauren down on the couch.
"Water". Aife handed them as Bo took her seat.
"I'm tired of the fighting. Tired of the deaths. Tired of the freaking Fae. Why can't anyone understand that Lauren is mine and I am hers? Bo snapped. She nearly broke the glass with her hands.
"You are the most powerful Fae Isabeau. They want to be your mate because your powers and protection would be theirs too". Aife explained.
"That's not our problem. I never once told Dyson that I love him. I guess I should have watched who I slept with. Who I was seen with." Bo snapped as Lauren gently squeezed her hand.
"Rest Isabeau. Get some real rest. I will take care of the Fae and leave you in the Doctor's care." Aife bent down and kissed the top of Bo's head. She did look tired of the bullshit.
"I've got her". Lauren softly looked up at Aife and never let go of Bo's hand.
"I know you do. You should rest too Doctor. I'll run your clinic for a few days." Aife suggested. Lauren knew she was serious about it and nodded.
The older Succubus left the two of them on their couch. Lauren turned to Bo. The woman looked as furious as she had ever seen her. Bo was no killer. She was no monster. But the constant threats and other drama had finally gotten to her.
"Come on." Lauren stood and pulled Bo with her. They walked down the hall and up the stairs.
After stripping, she stripped Bo and put her naked body into the bathtub. She pulled the scrunchie out of Bo's hair and watched as her hair fell down her back. She turned the water on to a warm but hot temperature. Bo just stared ahead. Lauren smiled and poured the bubble bath in. She climbed in behind Bo. The Succubus moved forward to give her room to sit. Lauren pulled her back against her and Bo rested her head on Lauren's chest.
"I'm sorry". Bo whispered.
"You have no reason to apologize to me Bo". Lauren said softly as she ran a towel down Bo's chest to her stomach.
The Succubus allowed the Doctor to bathe her and dry her off. Lauren washed herself as fast as she could while Bo sat in a chair dressed in a robe. The women were bathed, and Lauren pulled Bo from her chair and tucked her into bed before climbing in beside her. Bo turned and cuddled up in Lauren's arms. The Doctor kissed the top of her head.
"Bo you need to feed". Lauren whispered.
"No Lauren. That's like taking life from you". Bo mumbled.
"I know but you look a bit drained and I don't mean just your body being tired". Lauren replied.
"Okay. But only a little bit". Bo turned her head up and kissed Lauren. She moaned at the instant taste. Mouthwash and Lauren's minty toothpaste was turning her on as much as the power of Lauren's tongue fighting with hers.
Bo's head was spinning. She would never tire of kissing Lauren. But her scent and arousal was spiking Bo's. She climbed on top of the Doctor to deepen the kiss. Lauren ran her fingertips up Bo's back and gripped the back of her neck. Bo's eyes turned blue at her touch and aggression. She pulled back and watched Lauren. She almost cried seeing how much love the doctor had for her. Her chi flowed into the Succubus and she felt the power instantly. She collapsed on top of Lauren and the Doctor held her until she fell asleep. Lauren stayed awake holding Bo. The Succubus was warm and loving against her body. Even in her subconscious Bo was loving on Lauren. Her arms were tightly wrapped around her body. Her forehead rested against Lauren's neck.
She understood why Bo is tired. They had gone through a lot in a short amount of time, and Bo's fight was longer than Lauren's. She had gone on a killing spree and never understood why until she found out she's a Succubus. Then she had to fight again. Fight for herself. Fight for them against the Fae saying Fae and humans can't have relations. The laid together in bed like they were never supposed to leave. But they are certainly supposed to be here.
When Lauren left with Nadia she was sure that was it. They would be hold up in some dingy building while the Doctor secretly worked to cure her. That was going to be her life. Needles, microscopes and petri dishes. She never knew one touch of a stranger's hand would wake Nadia up. She often wondered how Nadia was doing but that was her Doctor mind only. Her lovers mind was with the woman on top of her.
She picked Bo's head up and kissed every spot she could find. Bo stirred, and half smiled but never woke up. Lauren smiled as she gently laid her back down. She realized they had skipped dinner, but she didn't care. Giving Bo her chi fed her too. Goodnight my love. She whispered and pulled the blankets over them.
The next morning.
Lauren had crept out of bed, and left Bo there to sleep. She went downstairs to shower and dress and left instructions for Curtis to feed Bo in bed. She had already kissed her goodbye and left a rose on her pillow.
Half an hour later, she was at Aife's. She banged on the door and was escorted in to see the Succubus.
"Doctor, I told you to rest". Aife said seriously.
"Well my patient is not well. I won't rest until she is. So, what have you learned? Who is coming for Bo next? Lauren asked.
"Go home Doctor. I mean it. Go home to my daughter and don't worry about this shit. I will never let anyone touch you or her. Besides grandfather is already on it. He's gone to find every pack in the colony." Aife said seriously.
"But…". Lauren started.
"No buts. Just go home. Stay there. Your clinic is rocking and so will heads when Grandfather finds them. As for the rest, Sasha and I are on it". Aife laughed.
"I want to help". Lauren said seriously.
"Sasha escort Dr. Lewis home. Make sure she gets in bed, speak with their Chef, and hurry back here". Aife said and never looked up.
"Let's go Lauren. It will be okay. We promise". Sasha gently pulled on the Doctor.
Lauren sighed but turned around so she wouldn't have to fight the Succubus. She knew Aife's intentions are good. She's just tired of Bo fighting all the time. She wants to be deserving of the Succubus and their relationship.
She was helped to her car, and buckled in. Aife wasn't taking any chances of her not making it back home safely. Sasha tailgated her, and she knew she had to drive herself home. She raced home so she could try and avoid any further embarrassment of having an escort. But thanked the woman once she was back in bed with Bo.
The Succubus turned over after Sasha walked out. "Where have you been? She asked sleepily.
"I..we….they..nevermind. Just go back to sleep". Lauren curled up with Bo.
On her way out, Sasha gave further instructions to Curtis and he made note of it all.
Keldon
"I already told the foolish wolf Thornwood to stay away from Isabeau and Dr. Lewis. If you don't heed that same warning. I'll be burying you with these". The old king said as he dropped bones to the ground before the pack.
Some moved back at the scents coming from the bones. The old man must have killed them to have so many wolf bones in his bag.
Once he was sure his words had been heard, he turned to leave.
Hale and Kenzi
"With all the bullshit that just happened Dyson is exactly where he needs to be. Bo's grandfather is making serious moves against the Fae and there is nobody that can stop him. Nor should they". Hale said as he popped his beer open.
"How did we get here? Seriously, one minute Trick was alive. Bo was about to commit to Dyson and Lauren had fled with her comatose gf. Now Bo has a new grandfather. He clearly hates my ass but adores Lauren. It's all ass backwards." Kenzi huffed.
"You saw him last night. I am not screwing around with him. He might not be a goodly King but he's loyal to Bo. Something Trick couldn't always say. He lied about Aife. He lied about his own identity. Keldon seems to be the up front and on your ass in a minute person." Hale replied as he settled back in his seat.
"Do you think Bo will ever talk to me again? Really talk to me? Kenzi asked.
"I can't say for sure. You did push when you shouldn't have. After what they did to Dyson, I wouldn't push again". Hale popped his knuckles.
Kenzi turned her head from side to side. She really hadn't done anything wrong. She had seen firsthand how hot and heavy Bo and Dyson were before she ever touched Lauren. So how did she know which team to cheer for? Bo came home a lot of times smelling like Dyson. She never once came home smelling like Lauren. Well except for that one night she found Lauren leaving their house after a bitter fight with Bo. When the Succubus returned she explained what happened. So why is Kenzi on the outs and Lauren is not? She stomped away from Hale to pour herself a drink. At least they found somewhere clean and quiet to hang out that wasn't the clubhouse.
Dyson was locked away in the basement with some porno magazines. It's the only way to sate his wolf. The certainly wouldn't put a strange woman down there with him. Hale thought they should have taken his wolf instead. He's still as horny as ever.
"Relax Kenzi. It could be worse. You could be sleeping on the street or in Aife's clutches." Hale noted as the woman paced back and forth.
Kenzi could nothing but sit down. She still had some protection in the Fae world but was feeling left out of the Fae world. The fun part that followed Bo. The guys. The parties. The clients. The liquor. The girl talks. Hale is her boy but he is clearly not a girl.
Bo and Lauren
"Are we going to talk about it". Bo played with Lauren's fingers. It was almost time for them to eat again. Curtis was obviously cooking something because the smell was delicious on Bo's tongue.
"I left you to sleep with the plan to find out where the next threat is coming from or if it is finally over. Aife sent me home saying I am to stay here and rest with you. Keldon is out there too. Who knows what he's doing." Lauren laid her head to one side.
"Lauren mom would never put you in danger. Even though you are strong enough to fight for yourself. Keldon? Well I am still learning about him too. We have to trust them. Nothing I have seen says we shouldn't." Bo said. She smiled thinking of how Sasha brought Lauren home and tucked her in next to her.
"I just want to fight for us. To be worthy of this". Lauren squeezed Bo's hand.
"Wait. Who said you aren't? Bo popped up and looked the blonde dead in her eyes.
"You fight for us Bo. You and your Succubus. Your family fights for us. I don't want to look like a weakling". Lauren said honestly.
"Lauren? Where is this coming from?! Nobody thinks you are weak. We just want to protect you, so you never have to touch those assholes. Nobody thinks less of you for it. We are warriors. You are a Doctor. A healer. My mate." Bo whispered at the end.
"I'm not used to being spoiled. I'm used to doing stuff. With my hands. With my brain. With my Science". Lauren sighed.
"You want to fight Lauren? You want to fight a Fae? Okay. Fight me". Bo climbed on top of the Doctor and readied like she was about to throw a punch.
"I'm not scared of you Succubus. Besides it wouldn't be a fair fight. I know your weaknesses". Lauren laughed. Bo was adorable like this.
"Yeah? Name one! Bo smiled.
"Your ticklish right here". Lauren trailed her fingers down Bo's sides and dug into her ribs.
"Stop. Stop it! Bo laughed and fell to the bed.
Lauren laughed as she pounced on Bo. The Succubus was done for. Lauren had tickled her so much, she could not stop laughing.
"Seriously Lauren. You're enough. You don't have to knock out a Fae to earn my respect. They will respect you regardless if you fight or not. I love you. All of you as you are." Bo kissed all over Lauren's face.
"I love you too and thank you. I feel better now". Lauren pulled Bo in for a hard, and long kiss.
"Ladies your food is ready". Cedric knocked on the door.
"Ugh". Bo pouted.
"It's okay Bo. We'll have desert later." Lauren winked and gently pushed Bo off of her.
"We better". Bo smiled as Cedric entered their room with a cart.
