Writer's Notes: I apologize for getting this out late. Home renovation are underway so I've been a bit all over the place and my laptop is somewhere in all the mess. So I am mobile for a while. We also had a tragedy happen so it pushed everything else onto the backburner and this story was one of them. Either way thank you everyone for so much support!

Bella looked at Marcus, her arms crossed, her face impassive. She knew that Marcus was innocent. She knew that he wasn't the one that was hiding Divergents. But he was one of the ones that threatened the overall goal. Eric was leaned against the table in the room they were keeping Marcus in at Dauntless.

"What are your plans?" Bella asked Marcus. This was being recorded for Jeanine's benefit so they had to continue the line of questioning so that it looked legitimate for Jeanine.

"I don't have any plans. Your intel is bad. I'm not trying to undermine Jeanine. We're all on the same side." Marcus pleaded for his life.

Bella made a 'hmph' sound. "I think you're lying Marcus. Want to know how I know?"

"I'm telling you the truth. I am not planning anything!" Marcus wasn't wavering. He was holding to his own and not cracking.

Bella nodded and pulled her sidearm from the holster. "Who else is helping you?"

Marcus's eyes got wide as he looked at the gun. He shook his head. "Please. I'm not hiding anything. I'm telling you the truth!" he was shaking now.

Bella tilted her head to the side as she stared at the man who made passes at the young girls in Abnegation. He was a perv and for a long time, Bella wanted to be rid of him anyways. He was scum. Regardless of his innocence of the very thing that her and Eric were guilty of doing. But she didn't see the guilt. They were saving people. Marcus was one of the ones helping take those lives. He readily handed over Divergents like they were livestock. Like they didn't matter.

"Well… Marcus… I just don't care enough. Marcus Eaton you are found guilty. By the power of Dauntless and Erudite, you are sentenced to death." Bella said and raised her gun, aiming it at his head.

"Wait!" Marcus cried out but it was too late. Bella pulled the trigger and that ended his life. She unscrewed the silencer carefully, her hands steady even though she just shot and killed a man.

Eric was silent as he watched Bella. He swallowed and turned off the camera strapped to his chest. He stood, walking over to her. "Bella…"

Bella looked up at Eric, her dark eyes were indifferent. She didn't care about Marcus. She didn't even care that she just killed him. She just cared about the task. The task was to save as many Divergents as possible. "I'm okay Eric."

Eric studied her and then nodded. "I'll dispose of his body and send the video to Jeanine. Go ahead and head to the pit to help with training."

Bella just nodded and holstered her gun before she left Eric there with Marcus's body.

Eric sighed and looked at Marcus's dead body. Bella's nature was becoming colder and colder and he was starting to worry about her.

Bella returned to the pit, walking in on Lukas and Four running the recruits through sparring drills. They were three minute drills and the object was to go as far as you could in three minutes. Most of the recruits at this stage were good enough to keep a fight going three minutes.

Lukas looked up at Bella when she entered, his attention shifting her from Christina and Nicole on the stage. "Everything good?"

Bella nodded. "Yeah. As good as it can be." She muttered and came to stand next to him. She watched Christina take Nicole to the mats and submit her right before the three minute mark. "Chris, bag work." She called out.

Christina nodded, hopping off the stage, her breathing still heavy from the spar. Since Bella became leadership at Dauntless, she noticed the change in her. And after Tris's death, it seemed to change Bella too. She wanted Bella to know that she was there to talk to if she needed a friend, but she knew that she also had a job to do. She rose to leadership fair and square. Being first on the board was Christina's goal now. They had a couple weeks left and she really wanted to get the better work detail. Will was right behind her so she was hopeful that they wouldn't be split up.

Lukas nudged Bella with his elbow. "Something big happened last night for me." He murmured.

Bella raised a brow and looked over at him. "Oh? What sort of big thing?"

"I'll tell you later at the bazaar." Lukas said with a smile.

Bella smiled back at him and then looked at Four when he walked over to her. "Hey. What's up?"

"Got word that there are Ravagers. Breaking through the wall." Four murmured lowly.

Bella nodded. "Alright." She said whistled and everyone came to a stop. "Peter, Will, Jasper. Come with me." She said and looked at Lukas. "You got this?"

Lukas nodded. "Yeah. You guys go." He said.

Bella and Four looked at each other and nodded. Jasper, Will and Peter joined Four and Bella as they walked out of the pit. "Ravagers have broke through again. Will, you've handled the wench right?"

Will nodded. "Yeah, I helped last time. So did Pete."

Peter frowned. He was an ass most of the time, but in the very least he was an extra body to help fight the ravagers. "What's bringing them in?"

"Not sure." Four said.

Bella stopped, opening a supply room with her palm and walked in then grabbed supplies. "We have to move fast." She said handing Jasper and Peter guns then Four handed a device to Will. "Noah meeting us?" She asked, referring to another Dauntless leader.

"Yeah, with Rose and Felix." Four said and they started to jog, getting to a garage that had Dauntless vehicles at the ready. They piled in and took off towards the source of the breakthrough.
