There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death, there is the Force.
Master Yoda sat in his mediation chamber thinking how it came to this war in the first-place different opinions, were the jedi still wardens of peace much plagued him, that Sith seemed to have returned and they still stumbled within the dark about what was the truth and what not. The war itself didn't feel right he just knew it, but it was a quick thought, which vanished without much concentration after this. He noticed the blinking light within his meditation chamber for the first time. He tried to recall what it meant, he knew that it hadn't blinked for centuries and tried to recall when it last blinked, probably not when he was Grandmaster, which he found weird. It struck him as lightning the light indicated a prophecy by the Sinner, her prophecies were always accurate, but almost always hard to encrypt. Since he became Grandmaster he only once went down into her prison, it made him feel uncomfortable just knowing that a being corrupted strongly by the dark side lay dormant below the jedi temple. He grabbed his walking cane and made his way to the hidden elevator within his chambers. A panel could be seen and he entered a code, the walls moved aside to reveal an elevator. The elevator just had two buttons one for up and another for down. He pressed the down button. After what felt like a century passing, which in truth was merely a few seconds he reached the end of his rather short travels. He entered the antechamber of the prison. The guardians within the alcoves stood there silent as always. Some moved and tried to block his path as soon as they realized it was him. They went back into their alcoves and stood there in complete silence it seemed as they weren't even breathing an eerie feeling ran down Yoda's spine.
He reached the end of the antechamber and the head guardian just nodded to him and became once again one with the shadow as Yoda looked back all of the guardians seemed to have been gone, which always struck him as odd. He entered the second code and the wall moved aside and a door was open the prison came to an abrupt halt. There she hung up in the air still in stasis he pressed the corresponding buttons and the Sinner was lowered down to him. "Now, speak we can, hmm", he said. The Sinner looked at him with something like curiosity and also malice in her eyes, it made him feel uneasy. She spoke in a thundering voice echoing from the prison walls her eyes rolling inwards revealing the whites of her eyes, "Once more the ancient darkness will come trying to dominate the galaxy, in its path to dominance whole systems will be set ablaze and only their smoking carcasses will tell the tale of their defiance. Obey or die." Her prophecy was over and the prophecy was recorded on holo. Yoda just nodded slightly he didn't know if he should answer or what would be a responsible answer here, so he sent her back like she was before and he left the prison the antechamber and was back in his mediation chamber. He was just trying to make any sense out of the holorecording he got from the prophecy. Her words were etched into his minds ancient darkness should be the Sith, but they were already facing them indirectly and sometimes also directly, which was a little bit odd. He wondered why they would set the galaxy ablaze what was their purpose and then he hurried to the library looking frantically through all the records and entries the had their until he found he was looking for, this set of entries were made by an individual named Gnost-Dural. It was a lot of speculation this particular archivist had made; the word Great Hyperspace ware was something Yoda had also heard a conflict between the Sith-Empire and the Republic. Then Yoda knew what the ancient darkness was referring to apparently the Sith-Empire. Yoda wondered how to could have survived for so long and what they were doing. Also, there was particular entry from this archivist that piqued his interest, a quite explanatory answer to why the Sith hated the Jedi and the Republic. So probably the genocide and the reluctance of the Jedi to do anything against it as well as having completely different philosophises compared to the Jedi. Then Yoda found a rather strange entry instead it being recorded on holo like everything else it was on stone how odd he found. He read the text and it didn't make much sense to him at first so he tried to reread it, maybe there some hidden meaning to it. Nothing came to mind. He looked around the library and tried to figure out if there were more such ancient entries to be found. It was this one alone. It seemed to be a codex of some sort it somehow read like the Jedi codex but at same time not like the Jedi codex at all. He found no clue on what it could be. So, he decided the best course of action was to take it to him into his quarter as well as mediation chamber to figure more out about it.
There he sat looking at this stone table the more he looked at it the more he felt it to be familiar as well as foreign to him. He felt like he should have seen it somewhere beforehand, but he had no recalling of such events. He left the stone tablet within his quarters and left for a council meeting where he would show the holorecording of the prophecy as well as the recording of Gnost-Dural, to explain the direness of the situation, which would turn this war into a three-faction war and the Sith-Empire may ally themselves with the Separatists or they would attack them all without warning like the prophecy indicated but neither a time nor date were mentioned the prophecies were also quite vague from her.
During the meeting the war was still raging on many Knights and even their padawans were deployed into various battlefields around the galaxy as excepted and now Yoda would bring them even more dire news of an ancient enemy stirring again and awakening from his millennia long slumber. Right now, a report of one of the knights out on the battle was shown he was fighting in the Outer Rim against enemies forces so that the trade routes to the core may be held open. The report was holorecording of this knight. Something made Yoda quite nervous as he heard something of the part of the report, "Gigantic fleet arriving … so many ships … not sure who … intention of fleet unclear … enemy … have opened fire … no warning … shuttle landings all over planet … looking for survivors," a shot was heard and then the recording cut off. "This is dire news indeed," Mace Windu said while rubbing his temples thinking what kind of enemy this could be. "An answer I might have," Yoda said and played the recording of the Sinner deep within the temple. "Who is she, she looks different and also what is she," asked Obi-Wan. "Sinner called she is, long ago order betray she did. Imprisoned for her sins she was. Name from history erased it was. Sith she is," "Master Yoda, I meant her species," Obi-Wan tried to clarify, Yoda just answered, "Sith she is." "There was a species called Sith once?" Mace Windu asked with curiosity, "Yes, show you I will," therefore Yoda began to play the holorecording of the findings of Gnost-Dural. "The republic did what and we did what?" both Obi-Wan and Mace Windu questioning what they just had seen. "So, the fleet we just heart about is most likely them. "So, too I think best it would be to investigate, Obi-Wan," "Yes, Master Yoda?" "To investigate it I want you to do it and take young Skywalker as well", "I will, Master Yoda", Obi-Wan left the meeting and tried to reach Anakin via Holo. He tried a few more times but he couldn't reach him at all which infuriated Obi-Wan so slightly, while Obi-Wan was still grumbling his holo-communicator began to ring. He clicked to answer as he walked down the halls. "What is it, Master?" it was Anakin's voice which Obi-Wan heard he was quite relieved to hear his former padawan. "Master Yoda, has an important mission for us. I can't say more via holo meet me at these coordinates," "Ok, will do." So, the call was ended. Anakin found the behaviour of his former master a bit weird and it seemed as he was in a hurry, he checked the coordinates, he looked around nobody was insight so he made his way to the meeting spot with Obi-Wan hoping nobody would follow him. He checked behind his back once more in every corner he had the feeling like he was followed by someone. He shrugged his shoulder and picked up his pace it seemed like he was running from something.
A short while later he arrived at the meeting spot and was still catching his breath. "Ah, Anakin you are already here, you mean seem a little bit out of breath, what happened to you?" Obi-Wan asked, "It seemed like I was followed by something or someone.", "Someone quite interesting", Obi-Wan stroke his beard like he knew something Anakin did not which slightly annoyed Anakin. Obi-Wan now also looked behind himself and gave each corner a quick glance. "There is no one here," "So now what is this mission, Master Yoda, gave us?" "See for yourself", Obi-Wan handed Anakin a Notepad with some information, which they should check out. Anakin scanned some of the content with great attention through others he simply skimmed over with a quick glance. "Sith?" Anakin asked in a whisper, Obi-Wan just nodded in conformation. "How many of us?" "Just us two only reckon mission, no troops, maybe infiltrate if no other options at the time," Now Anakin just nodded, "When?" "Two days from now, prepare everything you need, "Last question, where was it," "Somewhere in the Outer Rim probably".
Two days later, Obi-Wan as well as Anakin arrived at the shuttle bay, they took a small shuttle one especially built for reckon mission. Their shuttle arrived in orbit, "Coordinates please," Obi-Wan gave Anakin the last know coordinates of the planet where the knight probably met his end. So, the shuttle jumped into hyperspace, they left hyperspace at the coordinates and could take a good at the planet down below. The planet was a husk of its former self it was blackened like it was made of ash. "What happened, here?" was the only thought that crossed their minds right now. "Should we land look for survivors or something else?" Anakin asked, "We won't find any survivors down there but we should still look into it, although I don't like the feeling of it at all. "I know, what you mean, Master, it feels like the force is telling us to stay alert." Their shuttle made for landfall and soon they landed what could have been either a mountain or a building it was just some black not really resembling anything at all lump. The air smelled rotten and like decay it was not a nice place to be at right now. It was silent almost too silent the silence was like a blanket telling everybody being here that this world had met its end not too long ago, but it will slumber now forever more. The silence was broken by something which sounded similar to footsteps but at the same not like footsteps at all. "We need to hide, quick," Anakin and Obi-Wan quickly hid behind one of black lumps trying to make not any sound but still observing what they saw.
"I saw some movement here a while ago, not survivors but someone came to check out this area," an answer followed "I think, I saw it as well, what do you think should be done, if you ask me, it is one of this Jedi fellows they told us about, always wanted to kill one of them." "Me, too," the first voice said. A third voice was now heard "Are you two idiots, Jedis are dangerous and not taken lightly never take them lightly although you are trained especially as Jedi killers, don't take them ever lightly," it was said in a stern but calm tone. "First check the perimeter, if you recognize any unusual activities report back to me immediately, and do not under any circumstance engage alone, understood!" "Yes, Sir," was the reply as both of the saluted and began securing the perimeter. The third man stood still there silent watching. The only difference that he was of a higher rank than the others was the plate on his armour, nothing else gave it away. Anakin asked rather quietly "What is that weapon he is wearing on his back it doesn't look like a blaster rifle." "That seems to be a slug thrower quite slow but also deadly and this one seems modified, which could mean many things. Maybe that its output rate is similar to that of a blaster rifle, slug throwers can't be deflected by lightsabres, so we should stay hidden for now." The commander of this group had just disappeared that couldn't be. He just stood there a few seconds ago, this was weird and also quite unnerving for Obi-Wan as Anakin as well. What was even more uncomfortable for them seemed that they were now paralyzed. There the commander stood before them. They could see them for the first time from quite a near distance. His armour was almost black with a two red stripes in the middle. It seemed as he was quite pleased with himself. He gave a signal with his hand and the two others from earlier appeared again. No word was spoken at all now only signs were given and soon enough a shuttle landed. Two figures walked out looking similar to the others from before, who were talking, these two didn't talk at all. Only more signs it was complete silence nothing was said. After a short while Obi-Wan and Anakin found themselves onboard of the shuttle which now took off. They both wondered where they would be taken. Now on of the figures spoke in a language they never heard before. Something was entered into the control panel and it seemed like the shuttle began to shift to somewhere else entirely, but it was still in place the shaking of the shuttle stopped and somehow, they were inside somewhere. The sound of engines could be heard and the commotion one would hear if one were to visit a spaceport, which was weird there was no spaceport here at least not one they would have known of. They were made to stand up rather hardly the drug, which was used to paralyze them still had weird side-effects for them it seemed as the ground was uneven. The commander from before yelled commands in a language unknown to them. Shortly after a small entourage was formed, then their hands were shackled and their lightsabres taken. A huge being, stood tall in front of them it was made entirely of muscle and seemed to tower over everyone else. It took the lightsabres and stored them in some kind of canister, which was seen as odd. Also, there was a certain hunger in its eyes as it looked at Anakin and Obi-Wan directly it seemed like it would jump immediately and try to devour them and spit out their bones once done with them. It starred intensely at them, but after only a few seconds, which seemed like an eternity for them it turned it gaze somewhere else and gave their small entourage a hand sign and they began to move.
The side-effects had now almost entirely disappeared and the two of them good see now clearer, they were led somewhere so much was clear, but to where and to what purposes was not clear. The only thing they good do right now anyway was to look around and study the interior of the ship they were currently in. The hallways were almost always the same black and light shining brightly from the ceiling their steps echoed through the long hallways. A door opened and Obi-Wan good see another hallway which seemed to be quite different from the rest of the ship, huge statues stood embedded in all alcoves in the rooms, the statues themselves were made of some kind of dark stone and stood on pedestals, which were illuminated them. The statues seemed to show some person, of whom the face was not revealed and it wore a hood its arms were crossed with each other. Standards could be seen standing in the corners of the walls and on the walls were banners with the same insignia. The room was only dimly lit and the light came from ancient looking torches having a blue and ghastly hue to them. Also, there were other statues as well, but they looked more like torture victims and nothing like something grand at all. On some desk some stone tablets lay around, he knew not their purpose nor did he want to know theirs.
A sharp voice, "Look straight ahead, Jedi scum." Obi-Wan felt the pain of some hitting him on the back of the head with a heavy and blunt object, he felt a headache coming. But he didn't say anything he didn't want to give one of his tormentors the satisfaction of giving him suffice pain, so he just stayed silent. The hallways seemed to be endless after a march that seemed to have crossed the entire galaxy, they reached an elevator. They entered it one of the guards pressed a few buttons a quick deep sound could be heard and the elevator began to move. It seemed like the elevator didn't move upwards nor downwards it was weird it felt like they didn't move at all, the same sound once more and the door of the elevators opened swiftly. There were already other guards waiting for them, the only difference to those before them was their armour was now red instead of black. But their helmets covered their faces and looked like a model the clones would wear as well, but it looked sturdier made also, there was no visible visor to be seen. On the left shoulder plate, the same insignia as on the banners could be spotted the whole armour seemed to be made of one piece as there were no weak spots to be found either. They were pushed hard into direction of the red guards, one of them which Obi-Wan assumed to be their leader, nodded something and seemed to have a conversation with some, he tried to use the force, but that was shot down almost immediately as his whole body felt like it would be torn apart and thousands of small needles were inserted deep insides his flesh at the same time, finding their way to his vital organs and beginning their gruesome task of eating him from the inside. "That happens, if you try to use the Force, we need you alive for now so don't try it again." One of red guards reprimanded him for using the Force. "Sir, should we immobilize them so that something like that doesn't happen again?" Their leader just shook his head indicating there was no need to do so. After a few signs they moved out again the Jedi in the middle of their entourage. A few hallways later they reached their destination a room, where four such big hooded statues stood in corner watching them it seemed, but not moving at all.
Just giving the Jedi a weary feeling in the middle was a holocommunicator embedded filling the middle of the room with its sheer size alone. The leader and his subordinates began to kneel down on one knee. The Jedi didn't do so at first so they were forcefully pushed down into that position. Anakin and Obi-Wan felt a searing pain in their knees and saw tiny needles had embedded themselves into the flesh where one of their knees met the tiles on the floor. A small bloodstream ran out of their wounds running along a path and reaching the holocommunicator in the middle it began to flare up in the crimson of their own blood. It became apparent, to both of them that this device was more than just a simple communicator. The device flared up once again. "Their blood and essence are perfect, Chief Researcher Sacerius will be pleased with this news, open communication channel 1-1-3 immediately," "Yes, Sir." One of the guards saluted and did just that the device flared up once again and soon a person standing before could be seen. "Chief Researcher Sacerius, probably," Obi-Wan thought to himself. "What is it? Ah you found worthy test subjects finally soon project Typhojem will be completed. Send them immediately to me." "It will be done, Sir!" The leader of guards bowed and saluted. The holocommunicator flickered once again and the Chief Researcher was gone. Once more they were led out of the room, but this time they were immobilized and also blinded temporarily, which could only mean, they didn't want anybody to know from where this project was staged.
