It'd been five days since the Merlot mission and Summer had recovered enough to be up and about. Currently yang was leading her to the Bad Batch's hub.

"So yang, have you found a good man to love yet." The elder Rose asked slyly. She was expecting her to deny it. "Actually mom, I have. He's actually whom I'm taking you to." yang said as the two entered the hub. Summer noticed her other daughter was looking over some supplies. "Yang, what's ruby doing here?" she asked "Huh, oh." Yang said seeing the person of interest.

"Hey Sapphire, look who's up." 'Ruby' looked up and smiled. "It's good to see Mrs. Rose up and about Yang." The Ruby clone said. Yang looked to her step-mom. "Sapphire is Ruby's clone. She led my boyfriend to you mom."

"Clone?" Summer asked confused as to how someone outside her family could look like her daughter, but wasn't blood related. "It's best Tech explain it. Anyways Saph, have you seen outrider?" the blonde brawler asked "He's teaching Yin how to use a blaster pistol. Said she'd need something to use should she run out of dust." The azure reaper said jabbing a thumb to the landing pad provided by Ozpin. I also warned her that I would tell you if she flirted with him. To which she hasn't."

"So, why do you have three guns?" Yin asked looking over the DL-44 heavy blaster pistol. "I normally use old reliable, which is a Z-6 rotary cannon, to clear a room or lay support fire. As for the dc-18 blaster pistols, they're for running and gunning." Yin chuckled shaking her head.

"What?" the ARF trooper asked raising an eyebrow. "How'd you meet my template and got together?" Outrider frowned. "Would it kill you to call her yang." Yin gained a Cheshire cat grin. "Maybe?" she said slyly.

Outrider rubbed his forehead as two arms wrapped around his torso, the scent of lavender hitting his nose.

"Hey Lil' dragon." He said without looking. "How'd you know it was me?" came the unmistakable voice of his girlfriend. "You seem to overuse your lavender shampoo and conditioner. And before you ask how I know that… it was Ruby." Yang pouted before sniffing her hair. She grimaced at the smell. 'I really do overuse it.' The blonde brawler thought with a sweat drop. Outrider turned to face her and saw Summer.

"It's good to see you up on your feet again Mrs. Rose. This time without help." The ARF trooper said before noticing that the elder rose was staring at Yin. "She saw sapphire huh?" Yang nodded before noticing yin's hair was slightly different.

"Did you dye the bottom of your hair yin?" The blonde brawler asked "Yeah. Bit of orange and red. To tell us somewhat apart. Kind of how sapphire wears blue instead of red." The brawler clone said before noticing summer, whose mouth was gaping like a fish, pointing at Yang then her and back. Yin giggled.

"Yang, I do believe 'mom' is having a freakout." She said. Yang raised an eyebrow before glancing at her stepmom. "Yes mom, she's me." the blonde brawler said "But how?" the elder rose asked. "Yin is a genetic copy of your stepdaughter Mrs. Rose also known as a clone." Outrider said. "Like how Sapphire is the genetic copy of your biological daughter." Yang patted Summer's back.

"It's a lot to take in I know." She said before looking at her boyfriend and clone. "Where's the others? I know sapphire's looking over stuff inside."

"Hunter's in Vale with Blake." Yin said. "Wrecker's with neo being Professor Goodwitch's assistants." Sapphire then called out. "Tech and Crosshair went to get your old man." Summer stiffened at the mention of Taiyang to which Outrider noticed. "He'll be happy and shocked to see you." The heavy gunner said. Yang crossed her arms.

"What of jade, echo, and Frost?" she asked. "jade and Frost are with Weiss and Ruby in the library. Echo went to get something to eat" Yin said. "So, has Blake confessed to hunter or not?" Yang raised an eyebrow. "Why are you asking?" she asked her clone. "Well after the mission they talked while you and ruby were reuniting with Summer. Afterwards we asked hunter what they spoke of and all we got was a smug smirk." Outrider said before realizing something. "I'm guessing Ozpin gave your team the day off due to your mother being alive." Yang smiled.

"To answer your questions in order. 1: we got the same response when we asked and 2: yes he did." Yin raised an eyebrow. "Damn, really? I figured Blake would come clean after Jade all but exposed her faunas traits to the Schnee." The yang clone asked.

"You don't ask a girl about her love life Yin. Even if it's a girl asking about another girl's feelings for someone." Outrider said. "She'll tell Yang and the others when she's ready."

Meanwhile in Vale

"So, you're a bookworm?" Hunter asked Blake. Blake nodded while blushing. "Not exactly a bookworm myself." The clone said. "Hunter on the mission. I…" Blake began. "I'll stop you there. I understand what you were hoping for and I couldn't at the time," Hunter said causing Blake's cat ears to droop. "And you still can't." the faunas said.

"But you were right. I don't have to follow it anymore especially thanks to your team's clones." Hunter said placing a hand on the left side of Blake's face. She leaned into it placing her own hand over his. "You mean…" she began. Hunter smiled. "All of bad batch, save for outrider and omega, took the antidote to the rapid aging serum. We can live full lives." Blake's eyes started to water as hunter brought her into a hug.

"I love you Blake, the only reason I couldn't say it before was due to the rapid aging. I'd have been dead before you turned fifty." Hunter said while Blake cried at his confession.

"I love you too hunter." She said through the tears. "well. What do we have here? The hunter and the prey." Came the unmistakable voice of crosshair. Both the clone and faunas blushed looking at Bad Batch's sniper whom was accompanied by Tech, Taiyang, and Omega.

On the way to Beacon

"Sorry for ruining the moment." The sniper said with, to hunter's surprise, an apologetic smile. "So, why'd you want me to visit beacon?" Taiyang asked. "Does it have to do with the mission concerning Merlot?"

"Yes. I humbly ask that you don't panic once we land." Tech said. "Why would I panic?" tai asked. "Let's just say you gained two extra daughters." Hunter said making tai narrow his eyes tech then quietly contacted outrider.

BEACON

Outrider's wrist comm went off. "Outrider here." He said. "we're inbound to beacon with Mr. Xiao Long." Tech said. "understood. Outrider out." The heavy gunner said. "What's wrong?" Yin asked. "Tai's coming." Outrider said as Summer silently gulped.

"It's ok. He may be shocked to see you alive, but I'm sure he'll be happy to see you." Yin said placing a hand on her left shoulder with a soft smile. Summer returned it as the bullhead landed. "I'll be inside wouldn't want 'dad' to get a heart attack." Yin said heading to Bad Batch's hub of operations. "You do realize That the rest of Bad Batch agreed to let your original's parents know of your existence right?" Outrider asked.

"Tch. I know that I just want him to realize that his wife is alive first. That way he won't pass out." Yin said holstering her blaster pistol and headed inside. "That's… actually a good idea." Yang said before turning to face the bullhead.

Taiyang grumbled to himself as the doors opened. He froze at the sight of whom was standing next to Yang and outrider. it was none other than his late wife, Summer Rose. He glanced at Hunter.

"She's real. Not a clone." He said smiling. "I'm sure she needs some comfort from the man she loves." Tai took a couple cautious steps forward but that changed when Summer spoke.

"Tai, it's really me." with those words tai embraced Summer both crying tears of joy. Outrider and the rest of the bad batch members present stood to the side as yang embraced both her parents. Blake leaned her head against Hunter's shoulder.

"You just reunited a family." She said to him. The Rambo-like clone nodded. "Yeah, but you still need to reconnect with yours." Hunter said glancing at her. "That and I wonder how Mr. Xiao long will react to Yin and Sapphire." Blake said.

"Well, Summer didn't faint when she met them." Outrider said. "though I believe he will." Hunter smirked as Blake took his hand in hers. This gesture didn't go unnoticed.

"I thought you clones couldn't have relationships?" Tai asked. "That's the other reason why you're here sir." Tech said. Hunter nodded

"You two can come out now." He said before Yin came out. She no longer wore her white fang jacket. She now had a tan and grey bomber jacket with sky blue stripes and the vale emblem on the left shoulder with grey overalls. She also had a holster strapped to her left calf. (A/N: yin's bad batch look is yang's vol 7 design with the description)

"What's with the new look sis?" Yang asked playfully. "We figured new crew new look. Speaking of which you guys might want to update your outfits." Yin said pointing to her teammates. "I don't think it's a good idea to bear markings of a nation that no longer exists." Crosshairs scoffed "While I disagree with her, Yin has a point. We no longer serve the republic." Hunter nodded before noticing Taiyang

"Taiyang you ok?" he asked as the blonde man paled. There was yang standing in the door, but she was standing right beside him. He did what anyone would've done. He passed out.

ELSEWHERE

The Girl trudged through the stormy terrain with her three companions. "Where are we going?" One asked in a raspy tone. "Where else? To the Queen of Grimm." The girl said using her human-like Grimm arm to keep her hood in place. Lightning flashed and revealed her pale ghost-like face. Her face was that of a golden eyed Ruby Rose.
