Bo played with wet, blonde hair. It was early morning and they were fresh out of the shower. Lauren was warm in her arms as she slept. The succubus smiled at the face of the blonde. She looked so peaceful. She turned her head and read the clock. It was almost 7 am. She closed her eyes and settled in to sleep. Several hours later, Lauren moved in her arms and it woke her up. "Good morning." Bo whispered.

"Good morning and wow, it's almost noon". Lauren gently stretched in Bo's arms.

"It is. That was one long night". Bo smiled wide.

"It was." Lauren rubbed her eyes and looked around.

"No." Bo replied.

"No?." The doctor turned back to her.

"Yeah. No. We are not getting up. At the slightest hint we are up and about, someone will call with something to do, something to solve. No. We are staying right here. Nobody will know we are awake but us and the room service staff." Bo pulled two menus from the nightstand and handed one to Lauren. "Find your breakfast, sweetie."

Lauren smiled at Bo's thoughtfulness. The woman is right. If they call home or if someone calls them, they won't get any peace. She's also right about staying in bed and in the quiet. The bed is massive and incredibly comfortable. She blushed as she looked at the mess of clothes and undies on the floor. She is sure they will never wear those outfits again. They were ripped, torn and dirty with sweat.

Bo smiled as Lauren looked over the menu. She could read the back of it, which means the doctor is reading the healthy side of it. "Lots of protein and lots of energy drinks."

"Are you that thirsty?." Lauren teased.

"Haha, I thought you might be." Bo swatted at Lauren with her menu.

The precinct.

Dyson sat staring at Hale. He was busy writing something. Their Captain had shut down their case without much of an explanation to them. The man still has hundreds of questions. Who was this Bo that Kenzi wanted to call? Where is Aife? He knows all about that succubus. The Blood King had records and records of her in his lair but that building is now an empty lot. He looked down at his own desk. There wasn't a new case to pour over. So, what could Hale be writing? "Hale?." He finally spoke.

"Family business." Hale replied but never looked up.

"We should have made an arrest, Hale. I'm never going to make Sergeant this way." Dyson sat forward.

"I am happy being a Detective." Hale popped his neck.

"I am sure you are, rich boy." Dyson sat back.

"Excuse me? Weren't you a beat cop without any arrests on your record before Trick called in ten favors and you became Detective?." Hale raised his head and an eyebrow.

"Trick knew I'm a good cop and good at what I do." Dyson shrugged and took a drink.

"A dog in heat twenty-four seven." Hale laughed.

"Say that to my face!." Dyson stood and jumped on top of his desk.

"Thornwood, get off of that desk!." The Captain stepped out of his office. "What's going on here?."

"Dyson needs something to do, Cap." Hale answered over his shoulder.

"There's nothing on the books right now. My other officers have their own assignments. Ask them if they need help or go home, Thornwood." The Captain turned and walked back into his office.

"Fine." Dyson jumped down and walked across the room.

Hale sat back in his seat and scratched his head. He almost feels sorry for the wolf. He's still in love with Bo but doesn't know she exists at the same time. "Santiago, come in here." Hale turned. "Yes, Captain."

"Close the door." The Captain said.

"I'm sorry about earlier, sir." Hale took a seat.

"I'm assigning you a new partner and Thornwood will be transferred to another precinct." The Captain lit a cigar.

"That's not necessary, sir. We can get along." Hale shook his head.

"I won't have Aife on my ass or in my office, again." The Captain replied.

"Aife? What did she do?." Hale asked.

"It's not important. Just know this will be done before the day is done. He's a loose cannon and I can't have dissension in my precinct." The Captain replied.

"Are you going to tell him or am I?." Hale looked out the little window on the door.

"I will tell him, I just thought I would tell you first. You actually do your job without needing someone looking over your shoulder. Thornwood has gotten lazy, that's something that I can't have in my detectives. He'll be demoted once the transfer is complete." The Captain nodded for Hale to leave.

Hale nodded and walked out of the office. He took an early lunch because he didn't want to be around for the fallout. Dyson will blame him regardless. The truth is without Bo helping on their cases, Dyson has gotten lazy and lost focus.

He jumped into his car and on his phone. "Can we meet? Yeah, I need to see you right now." With that, he hung up.

Kenzi rolled over in bed and picked her phone up when it beeped. Hale wants to see her in an hour. "What does that boy want? He knows I don't get up this early." She groaned and climbed out of bed to shower.

An empty parking lot

"Thanks for coming so quickly." Hale jumped out of his car.

"You better have a good reason for getting me out here, Hale." Aife eyed him.

"Dyson is about to be transferred to another precinct. This is not going to be good. He's going to look for someone to blame. I accidentally dropped your name yesterday. He knows you might be in town." Hale explained.

Aife stared at him. "Fix your own damn mess and keep my name out of your mouth". She growled as she gripped his neck.

"I could have gone to the King." Hale choked out.

"You are not that stupid. He slit a man for being rude at the wedding last night. He could and would slice something of yours, if you know what I mean." The Succubus looked down at Hale's body and turned him loose.

"So, they're married?." Hale asked but mostly noted the news for himself.

"They are. Your little baby nuts dog will never mean anything to us. Any of us. She's moved on. He doesn't know her. So don't bring this shit to me or mine again. You are police officers. Protect and serve the humans but leave the Fae world to the King." Aife walked off without another word to the siren.

Hale took some deep breaths and looked to the sky. He jumped on his car and waited for Kenzi.

"What is it?". Kenzi yawned.

"Dyson is being transferred to another precinct. I'm getting a new partner. Those old days are officially over." Hale bit his lip to keep from telling her the rest.

"So, that's what you got me up for? I haven't had breakfast yet." Kenzi scratched her face. "I thought this was important."

"Dyson is going to be pissed off, Kenz. Don't forget he's still a wolf." Hale climbed off of his car.

"He doesn't remember Bo. He barely remembers me. There's nothing to see here. Unless he gets stupid and tries to attack them." Kenzi leaned against her car.

"He's going to blame me. We already had a spat this morning. He knows that case was closed in the most ridiculous way. I'm going to instruct my staff to be on extra alert. That's something that you should know. I am not sure when the Captain will tell him. I just wanted you to know what's going on." Hale opened his car door and climbed in. "Come on. We're going home for breakfast." He watched her climb into her car and followed behind her.

Bo and Lauren

Bo played with the sheets as she lay on top of Lauren. "We're married." She whispered.

"We are." Lauren replied as she played with Bo's hair.

"What do you want to do today?." Bo looked up.

"First, I want to shower." Lauren answered.

"And then?." Bo asked.

"We take the royal jet and fly wherever we want to go. King Keldon said we have it for as long as we want." Lauren pushed for Bo to move back.

"That sounds wonderful!." Bo held her hand out and they walked to shower.

Several hours later.

Aife rolled her eyes as she walked around the castle. The King hadn't emerged from his room yet. But that's not what is causing her distress. It's that fact that Hale thought it was okay to wake her up for some shit he could have and should have said in his call or sent by text. But now she has to tell the King so he's aware that they may have a dumb, loose wolf on their hands.

The Captain's office.

"All done helping Jackson?". The Captain asked.

"I am. Where is Hale?." Dyson asked.

"He took an early lunch." The Captain pushed for Dyson to close the door.

"What's this about Captain? Why did he get to go to lunch and without me?." Dyson asked.

"Thornwood, I won't blow smoke up your ass, I am sending you to another precinct." The Captain pushed an envelope towards Dyson.

"Hale! Hale did this!." Dyson screamed.

"No. I did this. You have gotten lazy and I'm tired of having you on my squad. You are constantly late with your paperwork or Santiago does it for you. Either way, you're gone from here. Take the new assignment or leave it. It's not skin off my balls." The Captain stared at the man and waited for him to leave his office.

Dyson took the folder and his eyes changed colors. He packed up his desk and left. That's it. He was done with Hale and Kenzi too. They probably know all about this already. He will show Hale and the Captain that he made a mistake.

Aife and King Keldon.

Aife bowed as the King finally emerged from his quarters. "Good morning, King."

"Good morning Aife. What's up?". The King asked.

"Sir, we have a free wolf on the loose. He is being transferred to another precinct as we speak." Aife followed the man to the royal dining room.

"Jerry's tired of him eh?." He asked.

"I guess so, Hale was not that thorough on the details." Aife gestured for guards to open the doors.

"I used to hunt in my youth. If I need to get my shotguns out again, I will." King Keldon laughed as he took a seat.

"That's a good idea but until Isabeau returns or if that dumbass makes a move on us, I will train with you." Aife toasted the man with a mimosa.

"Excellent, we can start after breakfast". The King slapped the table top.

Bo and Lauren

Bo sat across from Lauren, smiling. They were already in the air and it was a beautiful day out. They flew over everything and the view was just as beautiful. She had never flown much before so this is really cool to be flying with her wife. Wife. Wow. She rubbed her hands together. "So, where are we going first?." Bo leaned forward.

Lauren shrugged. "I just told her to stay in the air until we decide we are ready to land and site see."

"Wow!." Bo laughed. This woman is crazy but she loves it. "I have no idea what I want to see first."

"Mexico? We can walk the beach?". Lauren suggested.

Bo rolled her eyes from right to left. "Are we staying there or going back?".

"We can go back but I'd rather stay traveling. Like you said this morning, if we stay to ourselves, the better it will be." Lauren ordered another drink. This jet has everything you could want. Even a giant bed in the back. They have a pilot and a couple of flight attendants. Their luggage was loaded on at warp speed when Lauren had called for the jet.

"Let's keep flying. Let's see the world like I have always dreamed of doing. With someone like you." Bo leaned forward and took Lauren's free hand. She looked the woman dead in her eyes as she kissed it.

"I love you too, Bo". Lauren's eyes watered as tears fell. She looked at Bo and the woman looked like a child in so many ways but all woman in just as many.

Bo raised up and sat back in her seat. She looked around the jet. She never had before, she just followed Lauren inside and took her seat. This is the King's but theirs for now. Hell, if she's honest it is hers too. But the old boy knows a lot more about etiquette and riches. No longer will she sleep in a ragged bed. No longer will she sleep in a hole filled house. She gets to sleep on mattresses as soft as clouds in a mansion and hotels. She often walked Toronto looking at houses like theirs. When she was on the run, she longed to crash in one of those and eat everything in the kitchen. But she couldn't afford it. Besides, she had to keep moving to keep her name and face off the radar. Her first accidental kill was always in the back of her mind. She shook that off when an idea struck. She stood and walked over to an attendant. Lauren looked at Bo and turned back around to her window. "Lauren? Come with me?." The succubus spoke softly.

The doctor set her drink down and stood. Bo and Lauren followed the woman to the cockpit. "The Princess has a request". The woman spoke as they stood just outside of the door.

"Yes, Your Highness, what will it be?". The pilot spoke over her shoulder.

"I want you to teach my wife how to fly this." Bo replied.

"Bo?! I really couldn't!." Lauren tried to wave Bo's idea off but the woman gently pushed her into the cockpit and stood just behind her. Within an hour, Lauren was flying the jet without much assistance.

"Go rest." Bo gestured for the pilot to retreat to her private part of the jet. "Ladies, you can rest too." The trio bowed to Bo and Lauren and left the cockpit. "Well, it appears you have been holding out on me, pilot."

"I did a little flying in the service." Lauren smiled as she took in the view in front of them.

"See, I knew it." Bo smiled as she took the empty seat. "When we land, it will be your choice. Your decision."

Lauren nodded and made a mental note of their fuel levels. Bo settled in and watched the woman do her thing. "I can teach you one day. We can buy our own jet and go flying again." Lauren spoke up.

"Umm, ok." Bo spoke nervously.

"It's not that hard. I have forever to teach you." Lauren smiled as she looked at Bo and back out in front of them. Bo nodded and they spent the next hour in the air before Lauren decided it was time to land. They landed in Paris and walked around the city. Bo shivered on the inside as Lauren talked and talked about everything that they saw. The woman is a literal history book of knowledge. They held hands and Bo felt like it was the most natural thing they have ever done. When Bo asked questions Lauren gently answered every one of them. If she didn't know the answer, she would jot the question down in a small notebook for research later. They picked a small restaurant for a late lunch and sat down to eat.

39th Precinct.

The Captain walked into his office and closed the door. Pulling off his blazer, he took a seat behind his desk. He slammed his head into it when he felt a cold hand on his shoulder. "What is it now, Aife?."

"It is Your Royal Highness to you. You are a smart man and dumb fuck all in one. Why did you send Thornwood elsewhere? How are you supposed to keep tabs on his caseload if he's somewhere else?." The King spoke up.

"I'm sorry, King Keldon. Your hand felt cold like Aife's usually does." The Captain rubbed his forehead.

"Where are you sending him?". The King asked.

"To France, Your Highness." The Captain answered.

The King pulled out his phone and asked for the jet coordinates. He called Aife. "Bring my rifle and the other Royal jet." He walked out and fired a small pistol behind him. The Captain slumped forward in his seat.

Aife and the King

"Grandfather, while I am never not in the mood to kick Dyson's ass, the jet is no longer there. They've moved again." Aife stared down at her phone.

"Well shit, I shot the old boy for nothing". The King laughed. "Fire up the jet anyway. We need to fly to Paris. We need to make sure that I never have to come there again for this reason again."

"To make sure the new Captain knows that you are not one to fuck with?." Aife laughed.

"You know me too well". The King laughed.

"You can call and still make that known." Aife walked step for step with the man.

"I need to fight someone. I need to stay on my game. I am not Trick. The world will know this King is back, alive, well and on his throne. No matter where I sit. Since our kids stopped there, we need to make a royal home there too." Keldon gestured for Aife to board before him.

"Trick's blood runs in our veins but your courage does too." Aife slapped her chest and laughed. This is good. Really good. They won't bother Bo and Lauren on their honeymoon but for every spot that they land, they will buy up land for future trips. With curious minds like those two have, they could have land on every continent
