I am not sure who the pairing will be for Hermione yet; I can't choose between my fave ships; it's going to be either Draco, Snape or Kingsley in this one, as Sirius isn't in this story. - if you like Ron or Ginny, you will not like this story as I am not nice to them, let alone Molly.

Welcome to the new chapter of 2023! I hope you all enjoy this story and stick with me. Love you all.

In the space of 5 minutes, they were all ready to head to the meeting. Hermione was nervous. Her stomach was churning, but she looked around and saw those that mattered and loved her, and she knew she'd be fine. "Okay, guys, are you ready to meet some new people," she asked the twins with a small smile.

Seren fiddled with the sleeve of her jumper but nodded. "I'm ready."

Hermione knew she was nervous and pressed a kiss on her hair. "And you."

Hunter looked at his twin and aunt and nodded, smiling bravely. "Ready"

Tonks chuckled. "Gryffindors to the core, these pair."

Harry, however, disagreed. "Nah, I think they could be Slytherin, you know. The way Hunter schooled his face into calm and determined reminds me how Snape and Draco do the same thing."

Remus's eyes twinkled. "Whatever the house, they will be together, I'm sure." he could see how close the twins were and how much they reminded him of the Weasley twins.

"Do you think I will be Slytherin." Seren asked hopefully.

Draco grinned. "I think you very well could be, from what I've heard about your aunt whether it's true or not, I would say you have a good chance since she has been known to act like a true Slytherin at times." he smirked "I reckon she could have been a Slytherin if times were different," he said honestly.

Harry, like Draco, snorted. "Oh yeah, there true, all right, depends on what you heard, of course, but my sister here is very Slytherin."

"Shut it, come on, let's get a move on; I want this over with," she grumbled as they left the headmaster's office.

Harry watched as the twins walked before Draco and returned to talk to Hermione. "Mione, you know I got your back don't you."

Hermione looked at Harry and nodded. "Yeah, of course, and I have yours."

Harry shifted slightly. "Good. I want you to know that no matter how this meeting goes, I will be with you and have your back."

Hermione looked at Harry and nodded. "Ron will kick off, I know it wouldn't be Ron if he didn't."

"Mione, Ron still fancies you. He still believes you're supposed to be together." Harry nodded, but he was still worried. He knew Ron had feelings for Hermione still.

"We kissed once. And then I caught him shagging Lavender. I think your reading more into it."

Harry shook his head. "No, Mione, this is serious. He will not just get annoyed or angry. He is going to blow a gasket, and I just know he's going to get personal with his comments. Something's changed about him slightly since the war, I know you've seen it."

Hermione frowned and bit her lip, yes, she had seen it, and she hadn't forgiven him for leaving them abandoned during their mission. She also blamed him for her torture as if he hadn't kicked off and said the taboo, they wouldn't have been taken to Malfoy Manner, and Bellatrix wouldn't have targeted her.

"What are you saying, Harry, that I'm in danger," she snorted as much as he had changed; she didn't fear him.

Harry shook his head. "No, not you, but someone who is seen as a threat to you, someone other than myself or him. I wouldn't put it passed him. And well, he seems more irrational when speaking of you. I've had a few conversations where he's sounded cold and obsessive, to be honest."

"So, who could you be worried about? No one can be seen as a threat."

"Malfoy springs to mind. You know how irrational Ron is towards Slytherins and Malfoy he still is even if Malfoy was on our side." he warned her. "Also, I'm worried about the twins. He's not going to like any of it."

Hermione paused for a moment "Draco." and then realised what Harry meant, they had become even closer friends now, and Draco also knew before Ron which will be seen by Ron as a betrayal, and she also knew Ron could be nasty with his words when he wanted to. "What do I do with the twins then."

Harry paused "I think, we should maybe have Dobby, Kreacher or Winky watch the kids, maybe take them out the room before introducing them."

Hermione nodded. "I would, but I can't leave them alone Harry, it's not even been a day yet. So much has changed for them, to stay away from them would be cruel and damage them even more."

"Hey guys wait up." Harry called making them all pause and look at him "We need to somehow protect the twins from some people in that meeting, Ron isn't going to react well, and the twins don't need to see anything else, problem is Mione doesn't want to leave them."

Albus nodded instantly understanding what Harry concern was. "Perhaps, young Draco could stay with the twins since he is already aware of the meeting and what is to be discussed, that way they are with someone."

"I stay with aunt Mi." Hunter said, worried as he walked over to his aunt with his twin following.

''Me too.'' Seren replied.

Hermione bit her lip she knew Harry raised a good point. "Okay, but you must let me put a spell up so you guys can't hear anything you shouldn't. My friend and Uncle

Harry's friend might get a bit mad at me, but I am safe, I have your Uncle Draco, Remus, Tonks and Albus to help me, so you don't have to worry okay. Maybe I will give you a book or something to draw with how does that sound?" she tried with the twins "You'll still be in the room with me it's just for a little while, after I've introduced you both."

Seren and Hunter smiled at the thought of reading and drawing "Yes Please." they chorused happy.

Hermione nodded "Well we best get a move on then so we can get everything ready." she said to the twins and continued walking with Harry.

Soon they came to the room of requirement when an idea hit as Harry paced back and forth

Hermione walked in behind the twins and gasped inside was a big table with comfortable chairs, and over the other side, quite a bit away from where the meeting would be held, was a play area, it reminded her of muggle play group, there was a ball pit, soft climbing toys and other fun stuff to play and jump on, she smiled when she heard the twins squeal of excitement. "Wow."

Remus and Tonks were next, and their jaw dropped in shock. "Wel,l I must admit Harry, I think this will be way more fun for the twins than drawing and reading," Tonks said, chuckling.

Draco nodded "Is this muggle."

Hermione nodded "There was places you could go to play, they were called play groups, you could leave your children or watch them play while you chatted to other parents, they also have play centres which has giant ball pits, slides, climbing frames, ropes and all manner of fun things, best part there all soft it's like having a permanent cushioning charm cast. I forgot where the meeting was being held." she said smiling at her brother.

"So, kids what you think, you going to play." Harry asked, grinning.

"Will you play too," they asked in unison and wide eyed.

Harry grinned "You bet I will, but after the meeting, maybe even Tonks will play."

Tonks nodded her head she had seen something like this before but couldn't' remember it correctly.y "Wowcher, I'm up for fun, I want to see the other places now as well."

Hermione chuckled "Maybe we could take a trip to London and visit one of them, they have stuff suitable for Teddy too." she told Remus and Tonks. Then grinned "I'm sure Draco could even be persuaded to play a little."

Draco snorted "Not a chance, although it does look interesting."

"We'll see." she said smiling "Right come on kids why don't you go show Uncle Draco around." she told them smiling "Can you bring them over when everyone is settled." she smiled when she felt the room shift again to supply a sectioned off area between the table and play area, so the others wouldn't' see them at once. She then cast a one way silencing charm so they couldn't' hear in, but she would hear them.

Draco nodded in understanding and walked over calmly compared to the twins, who shot off, jumping into a giant ball pit.

Harry sat down with Hermione next to him and Remus on the other side, while Tonks took up position next to him, he made sure to leave a space for Malfoy for when he joined, he knew the twins would sit on Hermione's or his lap.

Albus took the seat at the head of the table, and it was only a couple of seconds of them all sitting that the door opened and in came both Minerva and Snape

"Hermione, dear, how are you, I've been so worried."

Hermione smiled and hugged the elder woman back. She loved Minerva she really felt like a mother to her. "I'm okay,y I guess, although I don't know how I will feel after this meeting."

Minerva wasn't stupid and took notice of how drained her cub was "It'll be alright wee one we will get through whatever it is."

Severus raised a brow as he looked around "Albus why is there children items."

Albus smiled "All will be explained, let's take some seats shall we while the others turn up.

Hermione's knee bounced up and down, and she bit her lip as she waited for the room to fill up.
